There were more than enough sweets at the moment for Felicity's appetites. Including Aelius, the tiefling thought cheerfully, not to give himself too much credit as he watched Felicity munch on the sweet biscuits. Aelius was hoping she could make time for him sometimes in that busy schedule of hers...and, well...he liked the idea of Tawny and Felicity in theory, but he had a feeling such a thing would be well outside of his ability to keep up with. Tawny could effortlessly lift him up and handle him and while that sounded appealing trying to keep up with both of them could be more taxing than he was prepared for. On the other hand...
Varrik just shook his head, practically able to read his mind there. Adrian was taking some stew while Luc looked pleased at Felicity's cheery compliment. "Have anything you like, much as you want," he said absently, not realizing that perhaps this could be interpreted several different ways by Felicity and that some of it could be detrimental to a good night's sleep later. Varrik pouted a bit at that, playfully as he nudged the roguish Tiefling.
"You clearly haven't met the right noble girls...Waterdeep's got the right ones," he said confidently. "Cailan could tell stories!"
"Of course, we could steal some hearts," Aelius piped up, munching on a biscuit himself, nibbling the crumbs off his lips while his tail flexed.
"GNOLLS and magic!" Luc echoed as he tried to pilot the ship they were all on towards its intended course, no mean feat when so many were attempting to grab the wheels. "Thank you, Tawny. As you say, we should weaken them with range, while we provide lines of defense around them...likewise, Nia's correct. Aelius can fight with us thanks to his spiritual weapon. He's also, how do I put this, NOT going to waste it by summoning a giant paddle."
"Awwww..."
"Until we're out of danger anyways," Luc finished. "Adrian and I can handle the front and mid-lines, Varrik and Felicity as a unit unto themselves would be effective. A sfor the- " he stopped short, not convinced he'd heard Zafah right. "...Come again?" He asked.
Varrik lifted an eyebrow, Adrian looking over in surprise, Aelius just cheerfully cocking his head. "Don't go for gnolls, sorry!" he said, before Varrik elbowed his ribs lightly.
Hearing Zafah out, the men exchanged surprised looks, Lucian having to admit that this made....a bizarre amount of sense in a strange way. "So...pragmatic sex? I...can't say this is a strategy we've ever tried."
"Speak for yourself."
"Shut UP, Aelius." The Tiefling proceeded to dodge a chucked piece of cookware, Luc ignoring him to watch Zafah. "...Nobody is getting a gnoll like...that, at all."
Yeah, least of all us," Varrik muttered. "...It's a point. We don't know if there're female gnolls that might even go after us. Don't know if anyone wants that."
"I don't know, Cailan and Lysander might," Adrian muttered, Lucian ignoring them again.
"...Only if you're certain," he said. "I don't want to force anyone into anything they're not comfortable with- " he looked at Felicity. "...Let me direct that to the other three of you. What's Zafah's saying...makes sense, I'll confess."
