Months passed and the servants began to notice that Aileen became rather fatigued after doing small tasks. She would be helping to prepare for winter and would be hit with a dizzy spell before excusing herself to retire for a moment. It worried them deeply; what if she had caught an illness? Their lord's new bride catching ill and passing...? It would destroy him. Ludwig was walking around looking for Aileen when one of the maid girls approached him.
"Lord, the lady is in the garden...I worry for her, she hasn't really moved in hours..." She told him with a frown. If that didn't make him anxious, nothing else would. He hurried to the court garden where he found Aileen laying against the stone bench, her head resting in her arms over the stone.
