"Yeah," he agrees, and shifts in his boyfriends arms for something more comfortable. "I asked Midoriya to train with me. Went to the arena and everything, but it felt kind of like cheating, so we didn't go in." He cracks a smile because it's amusing - there's no reason that he can't fight with Midoriya, he has plenty of times before, but he's not the one Shoto wants to learn from. Katsuki is.

"What did you and Kirishima get into today?"

"Pfft, you'd be doing me a damn favor if you beat his sorry ass," Katsuki said as he picked up his controller to get through the level.

"We just worked out and ate ramen at Yoshiharu's," he said flippantly. There wasn't anything really exciting about that, but he did fetch new information. "I think Shitty Hair likes dudes. Likes girls too. I'd bet my left nut on it," he said. "So you can tell Sparky that."

Shoto hummed, saving that information for later. "Now the only question is if he'd be down to bend Kaminari over something, but I'll let him figure that out."

He felt better already, like the distance he'd created between them finally faded away. He took a breath and relaxed for what felt like the first time that whole day.

"I'm glad you're only betting the left nut," he joked. "I like the right one."

Katsuki snorted at that. He wasn't going to comment further, but that quip had him raising his head a bit. "What's wrong with my left one!" he huffed, offended that Shoto didn't like it as much as the right.

Things felt normal again, even if his anxiety hadn't completely ebbed. He knew it'd be a work in progress so he didn't linger on it, and instead sat up a bit when his back started to hurt.

Shoto chuckled softly and shifted when his boyfriend did. He laid there for awhile, watching him play, knowing that even though he'd done the thing and owned up to causing the whole mess, anxieties were still there.

After awhile he looked up and asked, "Anything I can do?"

Maybe it would always be there, the fear that he would leave again, but if he could help, he wanted to.

"Don't worry about me," Katsuki snorted, getting tensed up when he was button-mashing his controller. He groaned when his character died, slumping back a little. "You feeling better?"

He peeked down at Shoto who was draped over him, lifting his hand to tousle his boyfriend's hair.

"You've been asking a lot of weird questions," he said as he remembered. Just in that past week alone, Shoto had asked him things like if he'd slept with other guys, if he enjoyed Shoto more than women, and it had Katsuki a little confused. "You insecure?"

'Don't worry about me' seems like an awfully dumb thing to say to someone who's dating someone. He's pretty sure it's his job to worry about his boyfriend. But he lets it go, and gets comfortable again.

It's not until Katsuki comes out and asks him that that his face scrunches. He'd never thought of himself as insecure, but. "Well, shit," he mumbles. "Maybe I am."

Katsuki snorted. "You don't have to be, idiot. I'd always choose the best." The hottest and the prettiest, in this case. The slight ego trip was just so Katsuki didn't sound like an absolute sap while he was reassuring him. "And even without me, you'd still be, so..." the blond settled back, glancing at Shoto briefly before he turned his gaze to the video game again.

He settled into a more domestic conversation, shifting to ask. "You eat dinner yet?"

Shoto had a feeling a flush appeared on his face when Katsuki said even without him, he'd still be, but he puts that aside to think about himself. He remembers asking Katsuki to tell him he was the best he'd ever had, right when they started this thing again.

"I was afraid for awhile you were only interested because the sex was good," he admits. "I thought I'd gotten over that when you said you loved me. I guess I didn't."

He shakes his head about food and asks, "You hungry?"

"Are you kidding me?" Katsuki snorted. "Our sex was not good in the beginning. Don't fuckin' lie to yourself." He thought it was amusing, though. Now they could have mindblowing sex nearly all the time because they'd learned from all of their awkward blunders in the beginning. He couldn't even count how many times some embarrassing things had happened when they were fucking.

"No," he said. "But you were out with Deku. Did he at least feed you?" Not that he expected Deku to be semi-decent and feed his boyfriend, but...

Shoto snorted because he hadn't even thought about how right Katsuki was. There'd been nights when he'd hidden under the blankets and Katsuki had literally dragged him back out so they could finish, telling him to grow up and get passed the embarrassment. He was glad now. He still got weird sometimes, but he could deal with it, because Katsuki had made it worth it. Through lots of blunders and laughs.

"No, we got snacks, and then I wanted to come home. I can make myself something."

Well, it was obvious by now that Shoto had no intention of peeling off of him, even if Katsuki was starting to get a little warm. "You want me to make you something?" he asked, lifting a brow. He thought it was pretty cute how Shoto was being such a baby right now, clinging to him in need of affection and security.

It was funny, considering Katsuki would be the last person anyone would run to for cuddles.

"Nah," Shoto answered, but his usual aloofness wasn't there to back up the casual word. In fact, he just pressed in closer, backing up the theory that he wasn't about to pry himself from Katsuki any time soon.

"School starts again on Monday," he mentions, just to have something to talk about. "I'm looking forward to it."

"Yeah, it does," Katsuki said just as listlessly. He was going to miss these lazy days with Shoto, since next semester was supposed to be busier, with Katsuki taking a lot more classes to ramp up his credits. Plus, he'd been looking into taking more internship programs on the side, and then there was a part-time job he had to worry about if the internships weren't paid. He was most worried about that, honestly, since customer service and Katsuki did not mesh, at all.

"Probably not gonna have classes together, then." Since Shoto was taking side-kick classes. It was going to be weird not sneaking peeks at him across the room, or just sitting next to him in class. "You excited?"

"Probably not," Shoto admitted, which was really the only thing about his new classes he wasn't looking forward to. Their schedules hadn't overlapped much anyway, and he'd probably pay better attention if he wasn't staring at someone other than the teacher, but he still didn't like all the time apart. And he hadn't even put his mind to what other activities could keep them busy - like jobs or internships or extra curriculars.

"I am excited though," he said. "It's going to be different but I think it's going to be good for me."

Katsuki didn't even want to think about how much more time they were going to spend apart than together. It was easy that they were dorming together though, which meant that they could at least see each other at night and in the mornings, but he wondered how much free time they would have.

"You're gonna kick ass in those classes," he grinned. Side-kick courses would be a piece of cake for Shoto, though he figured there would be a lot of new material to learn. "Come on, get off, I'm gonna get dressed," Katsuki chuckled as he patted his boyfriend's butt.

"No," he said, immediately wrapping his arms around his boyfriends waist. It was the first time he'd ever been outright clingy, admitting to it and everything. Usually he just grumbled and tried to pretend like he wasn't feeling needy. "What do you need to get dressed for anyway?"

Katsuki snorted when Shoto just clung onto him tighter. "Because I'm still in a sweater and sweats, and you're a thousand degrees," the blond complained, though he would have been lying if he said he wasn't enjoying this side of his boyfriend after their fiasco all last night and the whole day.

He propped himself up on his hands behind him, staring down at Shoto. He couldn't even play his games properly in this position. "You gonna stay like this all night?"

"I might," Shoto grumbled, but he sighed and pushed himself up so Katsuki could go change and he could rummage around for a snack. He put some soup on before changing into his pajamas himself, and when his food was ready he plopped onto the couch, dropping his legs open so his boyfriend could sit between them and rest his back to Shoto's chest, so he could get the physical touch he was craving and Katsuki could still play his game.

Katsuki went and changed into something comfortable, choosing to go shirtless with just a pair of black sweats that hung low over his hips. When he returned to their beds, he took some time to admire the way Shoto was sitting with his legs spread like that. He knew the purpose wasn't to entice him but damn was it attractive anyway... Katsuki playfully and gently pressed his foot to Shoto's crotch, feeling his boyfriend's soft cock and balls beneath the imposing weight of his foot. Then, as if nothing had happened, he sat with his back to Shoto's front, smug. "We should play a game together," he said. "I got this zombie game on sale. We build a base together and stuff."

Sometimes, Katsuki had a particular way of dealing with him that got Shoto's emotions mixed. He wasn't sure if he was turned on or annoyed or both, and that was what he felt the moment Katsuki's foot settled over his crotch. He was aroused because Katsuki had a way of doing that to him, annoyed because of course he would, and maybe just a little excited because while the other man could hurt him, he wouldn't.

He sat his soup aside to hook his chin over his boyfriends shoulder and slid his arms around his waist, his hands dipping into the lines of that v-shaped muscle that disappeared under Katsuki's sweats.

"Okay," he agreed. "I've never played a video game."

Katsuki settled back and against his boyfriend like he was a soft couch, getting his head nestled just underneath his chin. At his confession, though, the blond made a face. "What the fuck?" he asked in disbelief.

Though, he supposed Shoto never had time to because of Endeavor and the way he was brought up. Even he'd gotten into playing video games more often just recently since his childhood had been spent more with action figures. He glanced down, fidgeting a bit as Shoto's hands shoved down his pants, his cock twitching in mute interest. "Well... you wanna try or what?"

There was no point to answering, because Katsuki was right in thinking he hadn't had the time. Saying he hadn't even gotten to spend time with his siblings, much less play games, seemed too depressing to say out loud so he didn't bother.

"Yeah, just don't bitch at me when I suck," he says, though it's a bit of a tease given that he's seen Katsuki snap at his friends for messing up a game like they were doing it for a grade. He pulls his hands free slowly, pressing a smile to his boyfriends bare shoulder. He hasn't asked to play all this time because he genuinely enjoys watching, but he's not against learning.

Katsuki handed him another controller, and switched the game to the zombie apocalypse one. "You're probably good at the ambidexterous thing," he said, explaining the controls, and how to hold the controller. He was surprisingly patient in teaching him step-by-step, explaining each part.

"Then you use this to shoot, aim for the fucker's head when you do, 'cause it kills them faster," he said. The screen split into two, letting them work to build a base in an apocalypse setting.

When his character would find a better gun, he gave it to Shoto, and stuck to his side to help him if he was overrun by the undead.

He picked it up surprisingly quickly, only struggling on occasion with getting used to upgrades and adapting when the game got tougher. He occasionally pressed a kiss to his boyfriends temple when he could spare a moment to show his appreciation for the help.

Once he got the hang of it though, he got really into it, and really loud - cursing up a storm, smashing buttons roughly, and at one point cackling like he was the villain whenever he caught a zombie in a headshot that had gotten too close to Katsuki's character.
