"Whatever I want?" Matsunaga asked. Sasuke looked exhausted and in unbearable pain.

“Shut up, Sasuke!” Amaya snapped at him, blood dripping down her chin. “Just keep your fucking mouth shut! I’m not letting him have you!”

"You're fucking dying!" Sasuke snapped. Matsunaga looked between the two and scowled heavily.

Amaya couldn’t deny that, she could feel it and it was awful- if Matsunaga kept going, she’d be dead in no time. “Well then I guess you better do something about that then, huh?”

"I am." He stated firmly.
"How vile." Matsunaga said, "A sorcerer in love with a curse."

Amaya felt a jolt go through her body at Matsunaga’s words, feeling shame from his words. Why should she be ashamed for who she loved, was it because Sasuke wasn’t human? “Oh please.. Don’t give me that, when you’re practically a curse yourself..”

This time Matsunaga took new tools and jammed them into Sasuke's spine, watching his scream and threaten to crumble from the pain.

“Stop!” Amaya demanded through her own agony, feeling the searing pain in her back, seeing white spots in her vision.

He removed them from Sasuke's back and the God would have fallen over from the pain were he not trapped like this.
