Once more from the top! AGAIN!

Notes:
-I prefer to keep the player count small. 1x1 would be best, 2's manageable, 3's my limit! This is more because it'd help me manage the eventual death of a session due to time zone differences.
-I'm still very much bog standard when it comes to pairings of well straight folks so MxF. As much as I'd like to say if the hook is good I can probably do same sex, I cannot guarantee that would ever happen and also because I personally wouldn't draw any sort of enjoyment from it so it's largely 1-sided and likely half-assed.
-My preference leans toward discord servers with dice bots, since it's just a whole lot easier to organize. My discord is KnifeTofu#4573. However VTT's like R20 work well too.
-I may have a focus on plot and setting and the lewd -may- be a slow burn. Unless we're all in agreement that the lewd would be hard and fast, front and center!
-I am also an amorphous blob when it comes to kinks, something I'd like to discuss as well so it makes a bit of sense within the setting or the game! Since I have so few limits.
-Due to my less than favorable time zone and schedule, this is likely a lax game where we post when we can. I can at least squeeze out one a day.
-However if you really -REALLY- wanna have it scheduled, refer to the tables below for my generally active times.

--Generic City By Night -Side A- (VtR2e)--
In another time, in another place, a Princedom is under threat. A renegade threatens the masquerade keeping the mortals blind from the kindred. A madman or some would even say madwoman deft enough to elude the Sheriff and the Hounds. An anarchist that incites other kindred to 'seize their birthright.' A wretch whom the Princes' Harpies suspect may no longer even be among the Kindred anymore but rather possessed by an ancient evil, a Strix. However, those are but theories.

You, a freshly initiated kindred, however that had happened, may just prove yourself by contributing to the investigation. Find this spider and rip their web of influence apart. Be careful not to be caught and spun within the silk.

--Generic City By Night -Side B- (HtV2e)--
Things go bump in the night. That's how it always goes. Usually it's just the rats in the wall, sometimes it's your roommate trying to be sneaky with the fridge at the ungodly hours of the night. But you know better. You know there are more than just hungry people stalking the night.

A rash of disappearances have been cropping up in the city. The police are having trouble trying to even pinpoint who could be responsible. Reports come in that people are spirited away in the night, where the victims are either discovered days later drained of blood or simply remain missing. "Trolls" would start spreading rumors that it "may be vampires" except there may just be some truth to those claims. You know monsters exist and you're not the only one who thinks so, those who hold the vigil with you think the same. However, no concrete answer present themselves.

Not yet.

--Hardcover with a Side of Spice (D&D5e)--
It's simple. We pick an existing hardcover adventure and try to add some kinky spice. Sexualization...sexualization everywhere. Monster-Fucking! Bestiality! DO YOU WANT TO FUCK A DRAGON/STRAHD/A DINOSAUR/A GIANT/DEMONS FROM THE ABYSS/LADY STRAHD/ASIDE FROM YOUR BOG STANDARD FANTASY RACES?

Who knows maybe we can even Pathfinder this shit, I dunno how to Pathfinder but it can't be hard when you think about it as D&D5e But with MORE....A DIZZYING AMOUNT OF MORE. RIGHT?

You like fucking? Of course you do! How about fucking on a spaceship in S P A C E ?

I dunno if Star/Pathfinder have things like 5e's Hardcover adventures. But damn do they alleviate needing brainpower.

*Of course we can also workshop something custom for ourselves too. Obviously I've paid most attention to the VtR2e and HtV2e stuff for now.*
--Systems I have relatively decent proficiency with(as DM)--
-D&D5e
-Cyberpunk Red

--System I have limited proficiency with(as DM)--
-Starfinder
--Systems with references I have on hand--
-Pathfinder 1e
-Vampire the Requiem 2e
-Hunter the Vigil 2e
-Stars Without Number

*Anything not on this list will take some time (probably a decent chunk) to otherwise learn. Otherwise I can or I can try to attempt to run anything on this list.*
--Fantasy Settings--
-Nirn/The Elder Scrolls
-Abeir-Toril/Dungeons and Dragons
-Eberron
-Hydaelyn/Final Fantasy XIV
-Azeroth. WC1-WC3:Frozen Throne era.
-Thedas/Dragon Age
-Warhammer at least as far as the memes from Total War: Warhammer can get me.
--Sci-Fi Settings--
-Star Wars. Legends, specifically Ep1-6 and Old Republic.
-(M)Ass Effect: We'll Bang, Okay Edition.
-The Koprulu Sector/Starcraft.
-WH40K, same as with regular ole Warhammer mostly memes.

*Eberron, The Sword Coast, and FFXIV are where I'm most familiar. Hell I'd always be down for something FFXIV-Related!*

Thanks for sitting through the rambling, friend! Have a wonderful day!

Le Boumpe. Did a bit of editing and rearraged some stuff and fixed the format again!

I think I still have the brain power for one more partner then I'll let sit back and see which ones crash and burn horribly.

How would you do CoC outside of Modern setting?
Considering there's stuff like Achtung! Cthulhu and Cthulhu invictus for some of the older editions, WWII and Ancient Rome respectively, I think it's very possible. And there was also one for the Dark Ages.

And I wouldn't mind doing Cthulhu set in its usual time period of the 1920s. It's far enough back and all that.

As for how, I tend to just pare down or tweak the existing skill list to better fit the time period. I've reflavored the Lightless Beacon before to fit a more medieval setting for some friends.

Yes, just tweak the skill list. When I played CoC, there was three default settings. 1890s, 1920s, and modern day. Since then, they’ve added official guidance for all sorts of other time periods.

I understand it can be played in diffrent time era's. My question was specific to Vrandel's statement that he didn't run modern settings. So I wasnt exactly sure how he would do that in a setting like CoC.

All good just wondering

yeah I think that's my B. When I say Modern I meant more like contemporary settings. Something like 2000s to 2020s and all that.

And you can sign me up for a CoC game if one comes together...its a system I've always wanted to play
Glad to have your interest! I mean I wouldn't mind running a sort of pared down/slightly merciful solo investigation if you'd like. Otherwise if we can assemble other people that'd be fun. Given the nature of the Mythos and all that, I admit the bigger thing for me is figuring out how to mix insanity inducing monstrosities and lewds. Because y'know. We're in BMR! :D

I'd be down for anything lewd or not. Feel free to drop me a DM if that would help.

Hah! it's more like circumstance does not have me anywhere near my CoC rulebook and it isn't like I have it remembered by heart like I do with say 5e. Which I can pull off blindfolded.

\owo/

HEhehe. *Grins* Well, that's the first part of my question.

Any interest in running anything else? Even if it's fifth edition D&D.

<---agonized grognard noises. :p

(Honestly, while i'd rather play 2nd, 3.5, or 3.75, I've found a lot of stuff in 5th edition I'd like to explore.)

Well the ones I can run are listed up there. I'd say I could try 3.5e or Mathfinder or something, but it will be all flavors of unbalanced and "OH GOD WHAT IS THE DM DOING!?"

Also because the basis of my knowledge will be whatever I pry off the Wrath of the Righteous and Kingmaker Encyclopedias. I don't have any of the proper rule books.

I would also be interested (especially in Eberron!), but only if the action stays on this site. If it goes to Discord, I'll have to decline. I don't want my activities here following me elsewhere on the internet.

Vrandel have you looked at the pathfinder SRD? it's very comprehensive and totally legal.

:p Given that 5th edition doesn't understand the concept of Challenge Rating that would make sense. In thirty+ years of gaming no system has ever had so many total party wipes as i got from 5th edition in under a month.

I find that once you get out of the early levels (1-4) and into the mid game (5+), the CR becomes laughable for 5e. This is not as bad for classes that gain their abilities right out of the gate at level one. Compared to those that gain their subclass abilities at level 3. The latter of which do tend to need a bit of propping up until they really turn on as characters. I tend to err on the side of certain challenge calculators being fairly accurate in providing a challenge that is well.. a challenge.

Oh no it's more like I wouldn't know where to begin balancing Pathfinder. I've learned pretty quickly in 5e that the challenge is determined by what quality bullcrap abilities the mobs have rather than their CR \owo/ Also because I've gone from 1-20 a few times already in 5e.

The numbers seem so big and exorbitant, and varied it feels like balancing it would require an engineering degree. (Considering what feat configs that the players have too and that compounds the work required methinks)

*Shrugs* Well, I'd love to play 5e if you would run it for us.

(And i've never had much problem. Usually the challenge is keeping my head wrapped around what the antagonists can do long enough for them to make my players break a sweat. I'm pretty good at most of these games, but I'm just one brain. I have to keep track of the abilties of every antagonist. i have to challenge multiple players, each with their own brain and just 1-2 characters.) :)
