Witches are bitches (modern day)

As if triggered by the mere mention of his name, the visage of his attacker began to more aggressively enter his personal space and corner him. The action triggered his sympathetic nervous system; his eyes narrowed and fists clenched. The witch continued to interrogate him aggressively and with suspicion to his every word, beginning to irritate him -- especially considering what she looked like. As she completely voided the very concept of personal space, his body tensed up and his heart started racing. The feeling of her hot breath on him triggered the memories of being violated by her doppelganger. His mind was no longer registering her as a friend, but the part that absolutely disgusted him was that he could feel a growing weight between his legs. Undesired arousal aside though, the stronger emotion was the fight or flight response even though he was currently frozen.

By the time she finally got out of his personal space, she had taken out a cigarette and after the first drag of it, blew a disgusting cloud of smoke into his face. The mere smell of it nauseated him and reminded him of that disgusting smell that followed his father around. That was the final straw as he balled up his fist and pushed passed her to the door.

"I don't owe you a damn explanation for anything and I sure as hell don't need to take this gross interrogation from you," he shouted in an outburst that had been festering for some time now. "I'm going home. I've had enough of this weirdness."

"I said SIT," Lilith said and slid the sofa on which Sebastian had rested earlier in front of the door to block it before he could reach it.
"And listen up. I'm new here and it has been a couple of seriously exhausting and confusing days so my patience is wearing thin."
She was unsure of just how much she could tell him about The Coven or anything really, except for herself.
"I have no intention of hurting you," she continued.
"But it is in your best interest to tell me exactly who you are and why you were at the funeral.
She didn't move towards him but rather leaned up against the window frame, opened the window to vent the smoke. She did of course realise she had pushed the guy a bit too far but she was also sure that Fion wouldn't let him leave without telling them what they wanted to know.
"Listen," she said in a much softer voice.
"Back at the funeral home when I tackled you to save your life, thank you very much by the way, I sensed something wrong. I saw witches burning and now that you told me your full name it all makes sense."
She had had some time to think about what his name had triggered in her and it was a passage from her mother's journal that mentioned the name almost in passing but in a way that caught the reader's eyes: Cromwell, HUNTERS.
She killed the cigarette against the outer wall and tossed the butt to the ground and then approached him slowly in as non-threatening a way as she could which took all the self-control she was capable of. In many ways this guy was the enemy and yet at the same time he seemed completely unaware of it.

Chrystabel's alarm sounded several times and she finally got up and went to wash up. When she was done, the time was 9:30am. "Shit... I missed my potions class!" Chrystabel muttered and rushed towards the class and saw that everyone else was in class except her. "Damn it..."

Chrystabel muttered a spell and appeared at the back of the class and Peggy looked straight at her. "Oh, look what got up," Peggy said. "How nice for you to grace us with your presence, I guess 30 minutes was enough for you to finish your potion?"

"Sorry, I'm late..." Chrystabel said.

"I don't need excuses, I'll let the discipline master know," Peggy said. "She can deal with you."

"Awww... Please, Don't," Chrystabel begged but Peggy simply ignored her.

After potions class, Chrystabel went to the dining room to have lunch, food was not great but it was free. Chrystabel was still worried about what punishment she would get but did not see Fion around and she simply practiced telepathy and sent Lilith a message to tell her lunch is served.

Fion drove up to Salem and saw a lot of police cars going into Salem as well. She drove past a roadblock as it was getting set up and saw the police cars blocking a street and she stopped and parked. Fion approached and saw 2 men surrounded by the cops and the cops checked the men and found wooden stakes and various other weapons. Fion followed the men who were escorted to the police van and the men got loose from their cuffs and grabbed the plump cops escorting them. The cops flailed silently and the men kicked the other cops in the head and the cops went limp.

A police sergeant approached with another armored cop and the sergeant was grabbed and choked. The armored cop aimed his gun at the man but the other men on the roof of the van leaped behind the armored cop and choked him with his gun.

"These men are good... Hunters?" Fion muttered and she reached the cops and a few cops stopped her.

"Hey, I think your friends got attacked over there," Fion said and pointed at the police van in the alley. A few cops rushed over and Fion gestures a spell and threw some dust into the remaining cop's face, completing a charm spell.

"What happened here?" She asked the cop.

The cop looked dazed and said, "There was a jailbreak, a prison truck got into an accident and the prisoners escaped. The guards were murdered."

"Do you know who escaped?" Fion asked.

"I'm not sure..." The cop said.

"Can you bring me to the commanding officer?" Fion asked. "I'm an investigator too."

Then gunshots were heard and more cops rushed into the alley and Fion followed. When she arrived, she saw 10 limp cops on the ground. The cops were on alert and they were sent to search the area.

There were more gunshots at the command truck and Fion followed the cops and rushed over and saw 4 limp cops on the ground. She quickly cast a charm on the police captain to get more information from him. "One of the prisoners, Boris is considered very dangerous and he was on the way to a hospital in Salem where they have a secured wing." The captain said and Fion followed him to the crash site and she saw 6 dead guards, all looking very pale and Fion walked over to observe, pretending to be a police investigator and she spotted blood on the necks of the guards.

"They look drained," Fion said. "You need to check if they are exsanguinated, can I see the command truck?"

Fion approached and saw 2 cops stripped and 5 other cops on the ground. Their necks are in a bad angle. "The killer is very strong..."

[Officer down! Suspect in stairwell... BANG BANG BANG...]

Fion followed the captain and went into the building and checked the stairwell and 4 armored cops were murdered. "This is getting complicated," Fion said. "You have 2 attacking groups. One that kills, may be in police uniform, and another one who took out your men in the alley. You need to stop the killer... Um.. Boris at all cost, ignore the other group for now."

Fion charmed another old cop and went back into the alley and searched. The hunters were gone and there were 2 more limp cops who were still alive. "Fuck..." Fion cursed and did feel a strange energy pulsing and she went through the alley and saw the site of the Salem witch trials. "Wow, the energy here is intense, something is going on here," Fion muttered and decided to quickly return to the coven.

It was dawn when she reached the coven and took a quick nap. She was woken up by a magical message from Peggy, saying that 2 girls did not attend potion class. "Can't even rest in peace!" Fion complained and she left her room, she saw a note from another senior witch, [The new boy may be a hunter.] "Oh great." Fion complained as she exited the room.

Eventually the guy had talked. When Lilith pushed him he admitted his family's connection to the infamous little town just North of Boston, even if he seemed to be completely unaware of the implications of his name in connection with Salem and its dark history. Although it was about then, as he told Lilith this fact that it seemed to dawn on him. He was by default, through his heritage, the enemy in their eyes. This had caused him to explain rather desperately that he had not been aware of it and that it had certainly not been the reason for his presence at the funeral. He had stuck to his story but also admitted that yes he had had a crush on the dead witch even if he had of course not known she was a witch. He made very sure Lilith understood that.

"So to conclude, yea, I believe him. The hunter lineage must have taken another route, perhaps through an uncle, or aunt to a cousin," Lilith finished her report to Fion about what the interrogation had yielded which in itself wasn't all that much. It had more been hints of pieces to complete a puzzle enough for an image to start appearing.
She had then had a quick meal in the kitchen and called it a night quite early.

She was exhausted after the last few days of testing her limits and for this reason she slept through breakfast and only made it out of bed and downstairs in time for lunch. She was dressed in washed out pale grey jeans and a plaid shirt over a work out top.

Chrystabel saw Lilith come to lunch in a plaid shirt and signaled her to come over. "Hey Lilith, these are the girls." Chrystabel said as she introduced Lilith to them. All the witches are a little cold at first but warmed up to her. Chrystabel still looked a little worried as she was still waiting for her punishment, but plays it off that she does not care.

"So, do you have to take any classes?" Chrystabel asked. "There is a demonology class later in the day, are you coming?"

"Strange that Fion is not around," Chrystabel said. "Haven't seen her all day, but anyway, any new information about Sebestian?"

Boris was now in police uniform, washing up and wiping the blood off his badge. He looked at the mirror and examined his fangs. "Interesting." He muttered and went to bed in the basement of the building with 2 other vampires. A lady approached Boris and said, "We need to rest, will teach you your other powers tomorrow. The hunters are here, the bald one we had trouble with is a hunter and they can do considerable harm to you. Will explain more to you tomorrow as well."

================================================================================

Fion did not have much of a rest and sneezed as she entered the dining room. She stared at Chrystabel and said, "Detention 2 days, no leaving the coven."

She looked at Lilith and smiled. "Ah, you are here... any new information on the boy?"

A few other senior witches came along and Fion started talking to them about the pulsing leylines in Salem attracting vampires and hunters. Peggy asked about the situation and Fion talked about an escaped prisoner and possible vampires. "These vampires are bold and they fed on some cops, the situation is deteriorating and it looks bad, hope it does not come here. Definitely related to the energy."

"Not sure if we can go run experiments," A senior witch said. "Seems like you are right, more hunters are here and it is getting out of hand. If we help the police, the hunters may not be on our side, remember the last clash? 2 girls were caught and they still have scars to show."

"These vampires are very bold," Fion said. "We are not in immediate danger as we do not seem to be the target, and hopefully, the hunters can deal with them. But we may need to get ready if things turn bad."

Lilith returned to the table and approached Lilith, "If you know more about the boy, pass Aunt Peggy a report. Are you interested in a demon class? Rachel is teaching a class this afternoon so you can recognize and understand the flaws of demons. After the class, I may need to tell you more about some threats in the region."

Lilith sat down at the table after having plated up some salad with tomatoes and lettuce on the side of a burger with mustard and sliced onions. It was fairly obvious that she was among the younger witches there and that a certain buzz had been going around about her since she first showed up at the coven's previous house. Some of the witches looked at her with some level of adoration and perhaps there was cause for that since Fion and Peggy had both suggested that she was more powerful even in her untrained state than some witches could ever hope for.

She answered a few questions about the last few days. Did she really set fire to a police station? She nodded but added that it had been an accident, which was only half true. Had she really saved that weird guy from the funeral's life? She nodded and glanced at Chrystabel for confirmation while also explaining that all she had really done was find him. The actual saving had been done by Chrystabel and some old hag, and then also by Peggy.
"And you can fly?" the one witch that was definitely younger than she was asked and looked at her with almost starry eyes.
"Levitate," she corrected the young witch and smiled.

It was then that Fion appeared and asked her to pass a report to Aunt Peggy about Sebastian and if she was interested in a class about demons. She most certainly was and as she figured Chrystabel was also taking that class she nodded.
"I'd love that," she said with some enthusiasm and when Fion said she would need to talk to her about some other threats in the region she nodded and could feel the other witches' eyes on her.
Was she even technically a member of the coven yet? Was there a test to be passed, a group of senior witches to be accepted by?

After lunch she decided to first talk to Chrystabel about Sebastian who was still being held more or less prisoner in the room where she had left him. She wanted to know what if anything Chrystabel knew about him. At the same time she also let her new friend know what she had found out.
"So basically if we wish to we have leverage against the Cromwells. Assuming they actually want the guy back that is."
She remembered that Sebastian had hinted that there'd be no point in holding him for ransom since his dad probably wouldn't spend two cents to save his ass.

Chrystabel chatted with Lilith about Sebastian. "Well, Seb was the cool guy in class, he was kinda rich, and a lot of the girls just admired him from afar. We were not popular in class -- dressed like Goth and practicing magic, also we had to come back to the coven for extra lessons..."

Chrystabel wanted to tell Lilith about Sebastian but basically, they were in the same class and many of the witches have a crush on him and none of them actually approached him. They know nothing about him other than he was cool, handsome and rich. And Chrystabel ended up talking about her introvert experience in school.

When she saw Fion approaching, Chrystabel had a bit of apprehension but the 2 days detention was nothing to her, Chrystabel can just stay in the room and chill.

"What is a Cromwell?" Chrystabel asked.

Fion had a few more meetings with the senior witches in the coven about Lilith. It was true that they did not have a lot of information about Lilith, and many were hesitant to test her bloodline as it may attract unwanted attention.

"She has done quite a bit for us, and we should give her a choice if she wants to stay," Fion said. "She will have to follow our rules like everyone else, we will check her background and her patron for her powers, and provide training and protection for her when she agrees to be one of us. Anyway, she will be a very powerful addition, there seems to be a crisis up north in Salem where a vampire is murdering people, and it is attracting hunters, so I think it will be very serious as well, having additional firepower would help."

"I'm sure you want her for her firepower to help protect," Rachel, a senior administrator of the coven said. "But with that power, we will attract hunters and other demons as well as lots of attention, besides the police still think that some of the girls are wanted, that is still unresolved."

"The pulsing leylines are creating a nexus attracting demons, vampires, and the massacre," Fion said. "She has been quite truthful and cooperative so dar, and I can vouch for her."

"If she brings trouble, you go," Rachel said.

Fion narrowed her eyes. There was a long pause and Fion said, "Fine. If there is trouble, she goes and I'll go."

"Sure, tell her to take the tests and introduce her to the coven rules." Rachel said. "I'll get the paperwork ready."

"A Cromwell would be a member of the Cromwell family," Lilith said with a bemused smile on her face as Chrystabel asked the rather unexpected question.
She looked at her friend to see if it was asked in jest or not but then she shrugged and explained about the visions she had got from Sebastian of burning witches. She also explained about the note in her mother's journal and how that would suggest that the Cromwell family were witch hunters but added that it seemed Sebastian had been left out of the family tradition.
"They probably found a better candidate in one of his cousins. To be honest he does seem like a bit of a weakling."
Lilith shrugged again as she saw Fion approach them.
"I haven't had the time to report to Aunt Peggy yet. I figured I'd gather some additional background information on our ... guest ... from Chrystabel first. After all she went to school with him."

Chrystabel visited Sebastian to make sure he was safe. "Don't worry, once you are okay and it is safe, you are free to go." Chrystabel said. "School starts next week too."

Then Chrystabel brought Lilith to the demonology class. This was a class to introduce various demons and demon types by identifying their kinks and how they operate and kill. Most demons are brutes, and they enjoy killing and massacring humans. Few of them are smarter and target witches and can manipulate people.

The class was held in the basement in a new room, heavily warded with spells and a senior witch went through the lesson summoning a lesser demon and trying out fire on the demon burning it and the demon did not feel a thing. The immunities of the demon was shared and many of these demons are bounded to the caster to do a task and freed after. Demons when destroyed return to hell and usually bear a grudge against the caster, but unlikely they will get the same demon again.

The new room was soundproof and the senior witch summoned another demon, this one, a hellspawn. It looked like a human with dark skin and the witch used a gun and shot the demon but the bullets did not penetrate the skin. It was stronger and faster than humans and was considered very dangerous but it was vulnerable to holy and magical weapons, and a stab to the heart will send it back to hell.

The witch dismissed it and she looked considerable weak and Chrystabel saw the summon page of the hellspawn and it needed 1 liter of the caster's blood. The demon class was interesting as the witches get to meet and touch the demons which looked bored as they could not escape and was not allow to kill humans.

Fion got another phone call again and it was from a Coven in Portland, NH. "One of our girls is killed by a vampire in Salem. Another girl from Vermont is also lost in Salem. One of the auguries in Salem pointed to an old brewery in Salem where they found an old well. I'm going to check it out, just some enforcers only. Want to come?"

Fion hesitated as there was quite a bit to do, but decided that it would be important that she went to support the other covens, "Sure, I'll meet you there."

Fion quickly left the coven to drive to Salem again. The old brewery is just outside the town center, an abandoned building that is designated for urban renewal. Fion saw the other witch's car and went to the fence and climbed over to look for her. The side window was open and Fion entered. As Fion looked around, she heard a voice shouted, "Be careful!" And she stepped on a tripwire and triggered a tear gas.

"What the..." Fion shouted and she was pierced with a dagger and she saw a humanoid figure move towards the other witch and a flash of light exploded and Fion was thrown back. She was dragged out of the building and she staggered to the fence where the other witch simply blew a hole through the fence and dragged her into a car and drove off.

Fion felt paralyzed. She was poisoned. The other witch quickly sent Fion back to the coven where there was quite a big commotion as they carried her into the hall and Peggy had to use some potions to cure the poison.

"She will be out for a day, but she will be ok," Peggy said. "What happened?"

"We are searching for a missing Vermont girl at the brewery and we were ambushed," The witch said. "Someone was waiting for us. I'll report this to my coven and we will discuss this later, take care of her."

Lilith sat next to Chrystabel as the witch teaching the class seemingly conjured various kinds of demons to demonstrate their immunities and general characteristics. The first one seemed quite similar to the one she had tried to burn with a rather disappointing result. Which seemed to make sense if hell was anything like how it was described in Revelations, an everlasting torment in a lake of fire and sulphur, a spiritual death, not that Lilith in any way subscribed to christian mythology much but the Book of Revelations, had always fascinated her for some reason. She would however have been equally interested in the weaknesses of such demons, if not more than in their immunities but for the time she just relaxed back in her chair watching and listening. These things would probably be taught further on and she was looking forward to learning about magical weapons.

After the class was done she asked her friend if there was any chance that Aunt Peggy held classes in potion making. She would be most interesting in learning the recipe for that super power potion even if that was probably a rather unique recipe that Aunt Peggy would not part with to just anyone. Lilith would have to prove herself a master potion maker first and gain Aunt Peggy's trust.

She was then summoned before the senior witches to be tested before being allowed to officially join the coven.

Chystabel was planning to go to her room for detention. She put on her walkman but the battery is dead and as she was removing the batteries and shaking them, she overheard some chats about pulsing leylines and Lilith. "Oooh, they are accepting Lilith into the coven?" Chrystabel thought and then heard that Lilith was an orphan. Before Chrystabel could hear more, the other witches walked away and Chrystabel had no choice but to go to her room.

She listened to some music and took a nap, then looked out the window and saw a car approaching. A lady exited and carried Fion to the coven. "What happened!" Chrystabel muttered and rushed down.

"We are searching for a missing Vermont girl at the brewery and we were ambushed," The witch said. "Someone was waiting for us. I'll report this to my coven and we will discuss this later, take care of her."

"Brewery? Ambushed?" Chrystabel muttered and approached Peggy.

"Aunt Peggy, is there anything I can help with?" Chrystabel asked.

"Help carry Fion to the ward to rest." Peggy said and a few other witches came and carried Fion.

"I did not see, perhaps some vampire who was using poison," The lady said. "There is a missing Vermont girl in Salem, and we were trying to find her."

The lady did not stay to chat, she entered her car and left. "Oh, maybe you could drive Fion's car back here?"

"But..." Chrystabel said remembering that she was still in detention, but heck, what has she got to lose to run the errand... "Ok, can you drop me off there?"

"Sure," The lady said and Chrystabel jumped into the car.

"So... you gals are hunting vampires?" Chrystabel asked.

"Yup, some reports in Salem, and a girl from a Vermont coven is missing," the lady said.

"Because of the pulsing leylines?" Chrystabel asked.

"Could be," The lady said. "That would be another investigation some other time, we were there to look for the Vermont girl."

...

The lady and Chrystabel arrived in Vermont and there were a lot of police cars outside the Brewery. Chrystabel could feel a weird pulse of energy coming from within and she saw paramedics removing a few bodies in body bags.

"More deaths?" Chrystabel asked and the lady nodded.

"Go straight back to the coven," The lady said and Chrystabel nodded.

Chrystabel could see a man getting arrested by the police and the man seemed to be badly injured. She saw another cop carrying a bad full of weapons like crossbows and swords. "Wow, that is some cache..." Chrystabel muttered, got in the Porsche and drove back to the coven. "Awesome... this car is incredible!"

Chrystabel was curious and ran out to the lady and asked, "Who attacked Fion?"

The senior witches prepared a list of questions to find out more about the background about Lilith under a zone of truth spell where she was unable to lie. The witches had to know what to expect when they accept Lilith into the coven, once they accept Lilith as a sister, the whole coven would have to be responsible for her.

===========================================================================

Fion was lying on the bed. She could taste various weird potion aftertaste in her mouth and "Under Pressure" from Queen playing on the radio. Her wound was closing but her body still feels numb and she was paralyzed by the poison. She closed her eyes and focused, she could recall the moment before the tear gas exploded, she could recall a shimmering in the corner of the room which she now realized that it was a sphere of protection spell that probably was protecting someone from the attacker.

Fion tried to focus on the face of the attacker but she drew a blank. The attacker was definitely supernatural and inhuman;y fast. "The protection spell can only last hours, hopefully the police could reach her, but I don't think they can defeat the attacker..." Fion said to herself in her mind. "I need someone to save her quick or this girl would definitely be killed, who can I contact, I have the energy to notify only one person..."

Fion closed her eyes and telepathically linked with Lilith. "I was in Salem, in an abandoned old Brewery outside the town center and I saw a witch from another coven in a protection sphere before I was attacked. I assume that the supernatural attacker who poisoned me was after her. She only has hours remaining for her spell, if she could hold it for that long, and once her protection ends, the attacker would get her. You need to save her from her attacker who may be a vampire."

Being unable to speak an untrue word was a new experience for Lilith as she was being tested, examined and questioned by the senior witches but she had nothing to hide, at least nothing relating to her heritage or her reasons for seeking out the coven. When asked she did produce her mother's journal and showed the list of names going all the way back to Morgaine LeFay and Myrrdin Wyllt. She explained her reasons for having sought out the coven and how she had found them and noticed the rather odd reactions among the witches when she mentioned Jemima Frupp and how none of them made any comments about it. They just exchanged looks and nods. The examination was over in just under an hour and when Lilith walked out of the room she was a full member of the coven. It was the first time she truly felt she had belonged. She went looking for Chrystabel to tell her the good news but couldn't find her anywhere.

Then she heard Fion's voice inside her head as clearly as if she had been standing right behind her. She did in fact turn around only to find two witches hanging out near the toilets chatting about the effects of different recipes for love potions.
"Right you are," she whispered to herself and nodded in the hope that the link Fion had opened went both ways.
She went to find Peggy to ask if she could borrow a car and head to Salem when she noticed Chrystabel through the window getting out of Fion's Porsche. Now that would do more than just fine. She still knocked on the door to Peggy's office and asked if she had any more of that super power juice, explaining the reason she might need it.

Having promised Peggy not to take it unless she really needed it she was given a vial and then caught Chrystabel as she came in from the street.
"I need to get to Salem," she said and turned her new friend around.
"Orders from Fion so I don't think she would mind us taking her car. I'll explain on the way."
As they walked back out to the car Lilith told Chrystabel the good news. The senior witches had approved her. She was now a sister of the coven.

Driving the Porsche back was an exhilarating experience, windows open, radio with the carpenters on the radio. Chrystabel did not speed as she did not want any unwanted attention and she got lost as she still unfamiliar with the roads in Chelsea, but everything turned out okay when she was in that car.

Chrystabel was shocked to see Lilith when she arrived, all she wanted was to sneak in quietly as she was still doing detention. She was a little nervous initially but when she heard the good news, she was overjoyed and Lilith got into the car and they drove off again.

"I just came from Salem!" Chrystabel said and happily drove off. "The car is amazing!"

=====================================================================

A plump cop walked to the side of the building and unzipped his pants to pee. When he was done, he was clubbed in the back of his head and laid slowly to the ground. The man walked towards the remaining police car and saw a policeman with short white hair in the car and he opened the door. The policeman looked up and the man chopped at his neck and the policeman went limp.

"I can't have you snooping around when the shield ends." The man said and dragged the limp cops and place them in the trunk of the police car and cuffed them. He entered the building again and walked up to the ceiling and waited on top of a small opaque sphere. "Your concentration is going to run out and I'll still be here."

=====================================================================

Chrystabel arrived at the brewery. Most of the police cars are gone and there was a car remaining with the windows rolled down but no one in the car. "We're here," Chrystabel said. "Wonder where the cops are?"

"So, what is the deal with this place?"

A female vampire entered the rear door of the Salem police station and grabbed a fat cop and choked him. She entered the Bullpen and saw a few cops and quickly cast sleep spell and 6 cops went limp at their desks and she grabbed a balding old cop and place him in a chokehold. "hmmm, should I snap your neck?" She muttered as the cop's struggling died down.

She walked into the foyer area and grabbed the desk sergeant. "Is the arrested guy with the weapons like swords and axe here?" The sergeant was shocked and she placed a dagger at his throat. "Yes..." The sergeant said and she elbowed the side of his head and placed him under the desk. Systematically, she cleared every room, taking out the dispatch and all the cops including the unarmed ones that were in charge of only paperwork.

She walked to the cell area and grabbed the pudgy cop and forced him to unlock the cells where she tossed him aside and rushed into the cell of the hunter. The hunter saw the vampire charging at him and quickly defended himself. He was in bad condition, shot several times and with a dislocated shoulder. He managed to land several blows on the vampire but eventually, the vampire grabbed his other arm and broke it. The hunter screamed in pain and was subdued and she held his head up and bit into his throat. The vampire drained him completely and then cut herself and fed him some blood.

"Let the massacre begin." The vampire smiled and exited the cell area.

=================================================================

Fion was laying on the bed and her wounds were healed but she was just getting a tingling sensation on her limbs as the poison slowly wears out. Her muscles were still aching and she felt weak. "I wonder if Lilith needs help, will the police be of use to stop the vampire from killing that witch?"

"I don't know," Lilith said after having told Chrystabel to park on the street rather than drive all the way up to the brewery.
"I just know what I got from Fion. There's a witch in there who needs to be rescued. I'm not sure from what or whom but Fion suggested it was supernatural and that it might be a vampire."
If you had asked her a week ago if she believed in vampires Lilith might have shrugged her shoulders and given a non-answer suggesting that she leaned towards a no but after what she had seen and experienced in the last few days she was more inclined to take it all at face value. If Fion said vampires were real they were real.
"They would fall into the category of hell spawn right. Human form, faster, stronger and more agile than Humans?" she asked Chrystabel as if to confirm that she had learned something from the demonology class.

Before exiting the car she checked that she had the vial in her pocket and wishing she had had a wooden stake or something she approached the old building. The abandoned police car looked really out of place and Chrystabel's question was mor than justified. Where there was a cop car there should be cops and they certainly wouldn't leave it unwatched with the windows rolled down. Something was fishy about it but rather than dwelling on it she took cover behind a couple of trashcans and nodded at an open garage door on the side of the building. Probably where the delivery trucks were loaded and unloaded back when the brewery was still active. Above it was an open hatch that might have been where they took in the grain. She pointed out both to Chrystabel and asked in a whisper if they should take the high or the low entrance.

From the second storey there was a better chance that they'd be able to survey the situation before running into trouble, getting an overview of the layout of the brewery and maybe the witch's location within before having to spring into action.

Chrystabel looked at the abandoned Brewery. Without the police lights and policemen outside, that area looked rather creepy. "Vampire?" Chrystabel asked. "Don't think we can summon one, read about one in a book... I think it is vulnerable to sunlight... Can't remember anything else."

Chrystabel looked inside the police car and saw the computer still on. "Where are the cops?" She muttered and looked around. Chrystabel looked at the hatch and it did look hard to get to and she spotted the open garage door and pointed to the door.

Approaching the garage door silently, Chrystabel peeped inside. It was all dark and dusty inside. She scanned around and did not see anyone inside. There were shadows everywhere. She turned back and looked at Lilith and nodded and was ready to go in. She can feel her heartrate increased and she was ready.

Fion got up, she still felt weak but was able to use the phone and she called a few other covens in the area to inform them about the vampire, hopefully, nothing else happened to Lilith and she was able to defend the witch before the other witches arrived. She was able to do it because of several potions she took, but as the effects of the potion wore out, she was completely drained and fell asleep again.

===============================================================================

At the police station, the vampire found a good spot to watch from the roof of the building across the road. Although he could not see through some of the openings, he could still look at the silhouettes. As he found a good place to watch, several police cars started to arrive.

The cops rushed in to meet the newly turned vampire cops and quickly fired upon their supernatural foes. "Damn it, I can't see." The male vampire on the roof muttered and saw more cops rushing in. There were more gunshots then silence. On the police radio, some cops seemed to have survived and are calling for more backup as they spotted more bodies and more vampire cops charged at them. The vampire spotted the hunter exiting the rear exit and moving towards 2 cops with inhuman speeds.

"Wow, this guy is fast..." The vampire said and the hunter who is now a vampire grabbed a cop, snapped his neck and bit into the other cop's throat. The cop was drained and the vampire circled and waited in ambush as 2 cops approached. "Turning the hunter was such a good idea." The vampire proudly said and moved to another position to try to catch the vampire hunter in action but he turned the corner and was gone.

"Vampires are weak against fire though, right?" Lilith whispered and pulled her lighter from the front pocket of her jeans.
It was far too dark inside for her to feel comfortable just walking inside when they had no idea what they were walking into. She did nod at Chrystabel that she was ready to enter as well. Usually darkness would have been as much cover for them as for whatever was waiting for them inside but as far as she could figure vampires had night vision and would probably see them before they saw it.

As they entered into a large open area Lilith pointed out a very faint glow coming from the far corner. It could perhaps be some kind of protective spell. Next to it there was a shadow that seemed more dense than the surrounding shadows.
"Well well. If it isn't the cavalry coming to your rescue," the shadow said to the faint glow and then there was the sound of air shifting and the shadow was gone.
"Fuck it we need light," Lilith muttered to Chrystabel.
"We need to take away his advantage over us."

Chrystabel could not see anything inside the building. "Fuck, this is bad..." Chrystabel said as she think she saw something moving in the shadows.

"Yes, it is..." a voice replied and Chrystabel caught a glimpse of a pair of fangs and she started to freeze in fear.

"Not now..." Chrystabel thought to herself and was determined to come out of her intense fear.

"Fuck it we need light"

Chrystabel heard Lilith and quickly muttered incantations and gestured a basic light spell with 20 foot radius of bright light in a column in front of her and she saw a figure dashed into the shadows again. Feeling more confident like a hunter hunting a prey, Chrystabel rushed over to search for the figure.

A dark figure waited for Chrystabel to move below it before leaping on Chrystabel. A hand grabbed the back of Chrystabel's head and slammed her head first to the ground and Chrystabel went limp. The figure then walked on the pillar and wait in ambush for the other witch to come, using Chrystabel as bait.

A bus with armored cops arrived and the cops exited the bus and entered the police station. "Where did the hunter go?" The female vampire muttered and moved around the roof to have a better angle. She heard footsteps and saw a plump cop accompanying another sniper coming up to the roof and she moved behind the plump cop and grabbed him. The cop was carried behind the stairwell structure and choked. The sniper seemed to be setting up and did not notice the plump cop missing and the vampire unzipped the plump cop's panted and jerked him off.

The vampire did not waste much time as the plump cop got was trembling in fear and smells much better, the vampire bit into his throat and drained some blood. Then moved behind the sniper who was searching for the target and stomped the back of his neck.

The lady leaped down to the alley and saw 2 cops in fluorescent jackets. Their backs were punched and she placed their necks under her armpits and choked them. She moved towards a better position to monitor the police station and saw a round old bobby with a white mustache. "Smells good..." The bobby's mouth was covered and he was dragged into the alley.

The bobby was cuffed and kissed. His belt was removed and he was fucked by the vampire. A police sergeant heard muffled moans and entered. He saw the lady fucking the old bobby and was shocked. As he reached for his whistle, the lady stared into his eyes and commanded, "Stop!" The sergeant looked dazed and she finished off the old bobby and walked over to the sergeant and removed his hat. She sniffed his thinking white hair and licked his face. "Too many choices..." The lady said and heard gunshots. She was careful and she decided to get the sergeant to send backup to secure the old brewery, to prevent others from entering and no one, including cops, is allowed to enter or exit the brewery.

She looked at the police station and saw that the police cars outside the station were empty again. She looked around and searched and saw the hunter between 2 police cars, draining the blood from a motorcycle cop who was flailing while his life was drained away. The hunter moved with inhuman speeds to her and she smiled. "Good work..." Before the hunter could attack her. She stared at him and he paused as though he was under a spell and she said, "Go back and take out your other hunter friends, they will kill you, kill them before they notice anything."

The female vampire saw the hunter jumping on the police motorcycle and leaving and she decided to check and find the armored cops. It did not take long for her to find the corpses of the armored cops. They were all dead with their throats ripped out. The female vampire is more impressed now and quickly got into a car and drove off to the brewery.

Finding an alley to watch from the shadows, she saw more police cars arriving and saw a pudgy motorcycle cop entering her alley and peeing. When the cop was done, she grabbed him and stared into his eyes. The cop was shocked and she commanded, "Pleasure me..." As she grabbed the white hair of the cop and shoved his face at her vagina.
