Not much had changed, and it had been so long that Laura had pretty much forgotten about her old home. Blythe had taken up so much of her time that she couldn't get out of Laura's head. Every thought was of Blythe, to the point where she thought it was normal.
If she were to bring it up to someone else, they would tell her that it was not, in fact normal. But thankfully for Blythe, there was no one there to tell Laura otherwise.
Blythe hadn't made her any of that tea lately, maybe Laura accidentally grabbed one of the herbs when she made lunch? It was hard to tell, as she was still learning to be Blythe's assistant.
