Aiden noticed her timid nature, Lace had been the same in the beginning. "Vesta...Lace seems to like you..as do I," he said to her. "So...would you like to come with us?" he asked her, deciding to be frank.

Vesta looked surprised at the question. "You... You want me to go with you?" She asked, looking so painfully hopeful that it wasn't a joke...

Aiden nodded "Lace thought it would be better if it wasn't just me and her....it would be safer if the group got bigger...so how about it? I know your past hasn't been good, but would you like to come with us?"

"Vulpix vulpix vulpix!!" Vesta squealed, running over and tackling him in a delighted hug, so happy to be accepted that she was crying with joy, hugging him tight. The noise jolted Lace awake, the Lopunny looking about blearily for the source of the noise.

Aiden laughed "I'll take that as a yes," he said and gently patted her on the head, giving her head a scratch jut behind the ears. He wasn't aware Lace had woken, he couldn't wait to tell her the good news.

"Aww, am I missing cuddles?" Lace asked as she saw Vesta hugging Aiden and Aiden petting the Vulpix. Vesta purred as he scratched behind her ear, relaxing her grip. Lace hugged them both, looking at her trainer for news.

"I guess your gonna have to be the big sis fro now on," he told Lace. He was sure she would get the picture so he didn't say anything more.

Lace smiled brightly, nuzzling Aiden and then Vesta. "Welcome to the family, Vesta." She told the younger Pokegirl. "Vul!!" Vesta cheered happily.

Aiden smiled, looks like thay found what they where looking for. "So, what things do you know?" he asked Vesta once the excitment had calmed down.

Vesta tilted her head in a little confusion. "Pix?" She questioned, Lace giggled a little. "I think he means what skills." The Vulpix thought for a moment before reeling off her skill list of fire moves and speed attacks.

Aiden listened, she knew quit a bit. So why would her former master abandon her? "Well...she seems to know a lot right Lace," he said. Now that they had a new addition, what where they to do?

"Hmm, so she does." She stretched a little and then rose to her feet. "Do you mind if I go on a morning run to the nearest stream?" She asked, wanting a bit of excersise. "Just before we move off. I haven't taken a good long run in ages."

"Sure...will you be alright?" he asked her. He just knew that when she was alone something bad had happened.

"I won't go too far and I'll yell if something happens. Vesta will hear me." She told him, then nodded to the Vulpix who nodded in return. "I'll keep an ear out, I promise." She said, holding up a paw as if making a solemn vow.

"Okay. And if anything happens hear, yell for me, okay?" With that, she bent over to kiss Aiden on the cheek and turned to head off for a run.

Aiden nodded "Alright," he felt a little better knowing Vesta could hear her, but he still found it hard to be fully okay with the idea. "I suppose we wait," he said.

Lace headed off and Vesta watched, her many tails swaying gently. She rested her head on Aiden's shoulder, wanting a little bit of attention from her new trainer.

Aiden smiled gently stroking her tails as best he could. She felt so much smaller then Lace did, her body wasn't as curvy, but she still had an immature cuteness all around her that made her very appealing.

Vesta purred as he stroked her tails, the new Pokegirl leaning her read on his chest and wrapping her arms around him. "Thank you for taking me in." She whispered, one paw clutching his shirt.

"No need to thank me Vesta," he told her gently. He smiled as she clung to him gently. Her paw must have been feeling btter now since she could use it.

"I was so scared..." She sighed, nuzzling against him. She felt warmer than Lace, though that was down to her firey powers. She released his shirt and let her paw drop, it resting on his thigh gently, it hard to tell if that was deliberate or not.

He felt asmall tremble rush over him, the familiar touch, like what Lace woulddo, had caused his body to react a little."You don't need to be anymore, I'll take care of you from now on okay Vesta," he said, he was growing fond of her quickly. Deep down he also hoped at some point he could evolve her, but that would be much later.

"Okay, Master Aiden." Vesta smiled gratefully, Lace having told her his name. The wind began to pick up and the Vulpix shivered, clinging close to him. "Can we go in the tent? It's getting windy out..." She asked.

Aiden nodded "Yeah..." he said to her, he was glad he had not yet put it down. He however had forgotten that it still had the lingering aroma of his activities with Lace. He held the flap open for her, he wasn't worried, he was sure she could still hear lace if she yelled for help.

She followed him inside and sighed happily as she found herself on the soft blankets on the inside of the tent. "Mmh, it's so much warmer in here." She purred, moving about on all fours until she found a comfortable. There was an unusual scent in here, her nose twitched as she looked around, curious as to its source. It smelled... good. Really good in fact.

"Yeah it is," he said sighing in content. His eyes where still a bit fixed at the flap, he half expected Lace to just pop her head inside. He really was worried, but he knew she could take care of herself, and it wasn't like last time, last time she had been tired she was at her peak now. "Something wrong?" he asked Vesta noticing her nose twitching and she was sniffing around.
