Keld's face lit up as Avery walked up to the front wagon, her freely swaying bosom giving him a marvelous view. "Indeed there it. You can sit up front, Lorrick will have to sit in the back since he was supposed to give the wake up call this morning." The lead mentioned, smacking the space beside him on the long wooden bench at the front of the wagon, indicating between him and the Beast Man, Gruff, who had a large axe at his side. The other person in the back of the cart; barely a man given his age; moving crates around in the back at the moment let out a loud huff, displeased he had to sit on the uncomfortable wooden floor as punishment. His head lingered towards the source of the conversation, his blue eyes, hiding under the brim of his cap widening as he caught sight of the revealing outfit the alchemist had put on.
Avery certainly had the attention of all the men, smiles worn by all of them as even those in the second wagon grinned at the pleasure of having her on the journey. Only the Beast man seemed unconcerned with her presence, his expression remaining neutral as he waited for them to begin the trip, scanning the distance towards the town gate. Keld offered her a hand up on the wagon as everything was ready to go. "I was just about to go and get you, we can head out at any moment." He clarified, giving her a knowing smirk as she handed him the jacket he forgot in the room, a stain still drying on one of the sleeves.
In the second wagon sat Rolan, a blade resting on his hip in a scabbard as the guardsmen were distributed one in each wagon. The two other men Avery missed the names of last night sitting in the second wagon as well, taking the reigns of the horses and ready to go. "OK, Lets go lads. We got time to make up so don't expect a break until supper." Keld shouted, glancing between the two wooden vehicles to make sure everything was secure before giving his reigns a quick flick. With a jerk and the sound of groaning axles the wagons began to move at a good pace, the pair of muscled work horses pulling the wagon forward with ease.
"Should be a pleasant trip, as long as the weather holds." Lorrick mentioned from the back, peaking out of the covered wagon to look up at the cloudless sky, scratching at his barely stubbled face as they passed through the port's gates onto the main road north. The sound of the turning wheels acted like a metronome, a steady noise that blurred into the background as they passed by farm fields and small creeks, less and less trees being seen as the landscape turned to lush grasslands.
"Just a bit North to the small crossroads town of Stonewall, and then it will be a full two day journey to Fatrasta in the West, get comfy Avery." Keld mentioned, the schedule all worked out in his head.
Even just barely having left Ersa, the road was full of passing wagons, the road being an incredibly busy area of travel this time of day. As light mindless conversation was being made, they passed a familiar looking orc on the side of the road, his eyes locked forward as he lugged a large pack on his back still only wearing the small tribal loincloth. He paid no attention to the passing wagons, not even noticing Avery as the group rolled by in the same northerly direction, her body hidden behind the large beast man that sat next to her.
