I'll be your sacrifice... (Anansi x KiKi)

He went to work quickly, cutting here and there to modify her body. Carving symbols onto her bones while she was under before finally stitching her up. He stitches stretched over much of her body, almost like lattice work in their appearance as he sighed heavily and stood.

She stayed in a dreamless sleep the entire time unmoving. The only sign that showed she hadn't died or otherwise was her slow shallow breathing. Her chest rose and fell as she slept her facial expression was one of peace.

He sighed as he finished and stood before walking over to an altar. Lighting a number of candles he knelt before it and began to chant. The Altar eventually began to glow and he walked over to her lifting her slowly and sighing. "If she is as resilient as I hope.." He said as he placed her on the alter and then placed his hand on her stomach.

She opened her eyes as she was moved. Waking up fully she looked up at him as he placed his hand on her stomach. Looking around she saw where he had placed her. The pain killers had wore off so whatever was about to happen was going to hurt. After a moment she closed her eyes and waited.

Closing his eyes the area about his hand began to darken. He chanted quickly and the symbols shone through her skin as he did so. IT would hurt yes, but it would be worth it. The darkness crept like tendrils along her skin deepening its color to an ink black he shifted his hand up along her stomach.

Her eyes shot open as pain rippled through her. She let out a gasp of agony her back arching slightly. She kept still though. Not knowing what would happen if she moved.

It continued to creep over her and he continued to chant when his skin turned a stark black with the skeleton outline associated with his secret jutsu. The darkness progressed faster soon engulfing her form, her entire body now a deep black and her hair turning a blanched blond before a white dot appeared on her stomach.

She let out several more pained gasps as the darkness progressed. Soon it covered her and she was fighting to stay still. It hurt so much. She closed her eyes and bit her bottom lip.

Slowly the white traced out the skeleton pattern the same as the one that adorned his body. Raising his hand soon after he smiled and nodded as he lifted her up slowly. "Now you're just like me." He cooed slowly to her as he leaned in.

She let her body relax as he lifted her up. She didn't dare look down at herself knowing that she probably wouldn't like what she saw. Looking up at him she locked gazes with him. Hearing his words she eyed his lips almost needy. Not knowing why she leaned forward and planted a small kiss on his lips. She pulled away nipping his bottom lip slightly. Nothing mattered anymore.

Grinning he nipped her lip as well as he slowly pulled her close to him and interlocked his fingers with hers. Now he wouldn't be alone, there was another like him, however with that the altar split down its center. There was only room for two, thus it would be only them.

She placed another small kiss on his neck. Hearing the altar crack she looked back at it. Putting together the pieces she realized he had just wasted the last chance to be in this state on her. She still wondered to herself "Why me?". So after a few moments she decided to ask. " Why me?..." She asked placing another kiss on his neck.

He smirked before he leaned back slowly he sighed as he gently stroked his fingers along her chin. "Well honestly, you resisted, at a point where most would have given in, you were broken in your resistance by force but not your spirit." He said slowly.

She blinked listening to his words. " So if I would have given in when you thought I would. Would you have killed me?" She asked looking up at him.

"Yes" He said curtly as he looked at her. "Just like if you could have you would have killed me to survive." He said solemnly.

"Oh, but if you had to I'm sure you would have." He said as he stroked under her chin. "If not then all the better it means you and I are alike and yet different."

"I would have never killed you. Left you immobilized, yes. Killed you, no. I'm not like that." She replied looking back up at him.

"Ah I see, well then we are different nothing wrong with that, and now were both immortal thus death is irrelevant." He said with a simper before he leaned back.

"So what now?...." She asked finally looking down at herself just to avert her attention back up at him. Her body was to weird to take in now and she thought it better to focus on him anyway.

Grinning he tapped her forehead. "Now you get out of dark form, all you need to do is stand up and focus and you'll return to normal." He said as his body lightened till he returned to his usual coloration.

She nodded and got down out of his arms. She stood and focused. Looking down she watched as her pale skin returned. She grabbed a hold of a piece of what was once her raven black hair. It was now white. "Will it stay like this?" She asked looking up at him.

"For a while, yes, you can change it back..in time or you can choose to keep it." He said slowly as he nodded to her and turned. "Its not a big deal now, you have forever to pick a color." He said as he walked past her and towards a door in the back. "Cmon we have things to do."

She looked from her hair to him and nodded. She then walked after him to the door. "Where are we going?" She asked as she stood beside him.

Pushing open a door he sighed and touched a scroll lighting numerous crystals in the room. Weapons adorned every surface in this room, ceiling, walls, even some parts of the floor, all of them in place. "Here is where you pick a new weapon, those bangles you use wouldn't have done anything if I had fought you to kill."
