Well, having a very active imagination allows me to use the written word as just as good as visuals for porn. And honestly a good, well written description can get me harder faster than just a pornographic image.

As for role-playing affecting me, I've had a few really good and well-written role-plays make me hot and bothered to the point I have to take a few moments to cool down before I responded. I'm attracted to certain writers and role-players for the simple fact that they write such delicious descriptions, vivid imagery and interesting, appealing characters. Sometimes, there are certain role-players(not naming any names so as to not induce paranoia) I'll stalk simply for the fact that I enjoy their writing style and it indeed does get me hot and bothered. Though for the most part it's for me to imporve myself as a role-player and writer(my story and I'm sticking to it dammit).

So in short, yes, a good, well-written role-play with plenty of sexual tension and pay-off in the form of well-written scenes with juicy(pun-intended) descriptions, imagery and characters will get me hot and bothered.
