Shoni sighed and put her head back against the wall of the compound. Yet again, after one more try at earning a little respect, she was being made fun off or wanting to be a warrior like her father. She was easily just as tough as the other men, and possibly more so, considering most of them didn't have the up bringing she had. She had a tough horse, and she knew how to ride better than a lot of other people. She could take care of a horse, race any other boy that was her size and win, and she could also take down any male that was twice her size with her own fists. But, then again, she was also quite stubborn, and she wouldn't stop trying to do what she needed to to be trained as a warrior.
She made her way to the stable and found her mare, and, not bothering to saddle her, vaulted onto her back and rode out of the city gates fora breather. The girl needed to relax a little, and if she stayed in the surrounding fields, she could think a little more. She sighed and slid off her horse's back and lay back in the grass, letting her go graze a short distance away. Her long red hair was spread out in a way that would be considered rather erotic to anyone that came by. Maybe she could summon a spirit horse, and tame it, just like her father did. That was how her father had gotten to a higher rank. She sighed and sat up, staring up absently at the stars in the sky. "I wish there was some way I could tame a spirit horse like my father..."
