"I...maybe? What did she say to you?" She asked, turning to face him fully.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Well, she told me you wanted to split up, and said she saw you with other guys at the club.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"What??" She laughed, "Oh my God, no! You know me well enough, I'm a whore but I'm not a whore!"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I dunno, you were always accusin me of shit with her, and she told me all that, and then.. yknow, we split.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

'She had screenshots!" She said, "If I had that old phone, I'd show you.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Those screenshots probably weren't even me, Sena, swear to god.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Goddamn." She said, "Conniving bitch..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah, you can say that again.." he said. He sighed and looked up at the sky as it slowly turned to twilight.

"Want another shroom? You sobered up pretty fast." She half teased.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yours hasn't even really kicked in yet, has it?" He asked.

She shook her head, "Still waiting.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Weird.. maybe I got a weak one.. yeah, I'll pop another one.." he said as he took another one, and waited in almost near silence with her.

She twiddled her thumbs, not really liking such awkward silences, "Mom misses you..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah..? That's a relief, at least.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"She was always in your corner.." She smiled, "Never once believed you would go behind me like that."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Well, I'm glad for that.. I never did.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I see that now.." She said, "But she knew from the start. Dad, though, well...I don't think I need to explain.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah, I figured as much.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"He's just protective, you know how he gets.." She said, "I know I said it already when we met but I really am sorry to hear about your uncle..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He made a noise and waved his hand. "I don't.. wanna talk about that.." he said. "I appreciate it but.. I'm fine not thinking about it right now.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"That's fair..." She nodded. It must have been bad, his uncle was really all he had. "Man, you picked some weak shrooms." She laughed.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Yeah, well, you're the botanist.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She laughed a bit, "Yeah, true. They may not have developed properly! Maybe you just got lucky with that first one."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Maybe, yeah.." he said. He wanted to make things right again. He wanted to go back to the way things were, but he couldn't bring himself to ask. He couldn't do it.

"Hhmm..." Her eyes moved to the fire, "Did it always burn that bright?"
