"Nah I mean it.." he said.

She made a noise, "We all need to grow up, Theo...becoming a pharma druid was me growing up.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"And me getting a security gig was me growing up.." he said. "But you don't have to give up everything.."

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I don't think you understand?" She said, "I can't get drunk every night and do drugs and go to work and tend to sensitive plants. That isn't how you grow up, Theo. You can do whatever cuz all you do is pace a building and look scary...I actually have to focus and sit down and listen to what my plants need and what medicines need to be made...I can't do that hung over..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"All I do? All I do is save your life. All I do is protect you scientists from your own work." He said. "I know what tough work you have to do but christ, Sena, you're allowed to have a little fun and still be good for work.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Not the way I used to, hun.." She said.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"A lot really has changed since college.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Yeah..." She muttered, "We have this time now, though, don't we?"

"Yeah, we do.. some things don't change.." he said.

She laughed softly, "No, I suppose not.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He made a noise. "Man, what happened to us.." he said. He sounded genuinely upset.

"What do you mean?" She asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"We split, and got old.." he said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Rude." She laughed, "I'm barely thirty."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Nah, like.. we used to have fun.. now, yeah we're having fun but like.. man.. I miss those days.." he said.

"It happens." She said, "Besides, you and Nathan were cute.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Didn't work out, but yeah, it was fun.." he said.

"That's a shame..." She said, "You guys seemed happy..."

"It was fun, but.. yknow when you left it just.. didn't feel right.." he said.

Her ears wiggled gently, "Yeah, well...you kinda used me to get to Monika, so..."

"What? Monika? God no.." he said.

"What do you mean?" She looked over, "She told me you were blowing up her social media, she had screenshots."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"What? God no.. Monika tried hitting on me all the time.." he said. "She tried getting at me, and would always try to hit on you.. like.. to me.." he said.

"What?" She looked baffled, "She wanted to get to me through you?"

"That's what I got.. wait.. she told.. you.. man, was she the reason for us..?" He asked, looking over to her.
