Moon Slave...[In More Than One Way]

Her body absorbed the heat, raising her own body temperature. She stood up and moved away from the couch, Pressing her back against the refrigerator after a half hour of getting heated. She knew what he was doing and even though the cabin was small, at least she was farther away now. She combed her fingers through her hair and figured that two could play this game. At least she hoped. She was slightly unsure. She undid the top buttons of her shorts, revealing more pale flesh and a butterfly tattoo on her hip. She didn't look at him, just adjusted her clothes and lightly fanned herself.

His eyes were closed, so he didn't see her movement and slight disrobement, but felt it through his mind. He was acting more like a sonar, knowing that she would try to use that against him. But there was one little flaw in the strategy that he didn't realize until then: The puffs of heat were taxing on his energy reserves, and since he didn't have that much nourishment earlier, he was starting to get low again. He stopped the timing of the puffs, turning his head towards her but keeping his eyes closed. "Can I get another blood pack or two?"

"Hm....why should I? You keep using your energy on me."

She said with a slight tilt of her head, noticing how he kept his eyes closed. She didn't care much, just that it shouldn't be a one-sided battle. She popped open the fridge and took out a blood packet and bit into it, drinking it slowly. She didn't exactly need the cold blood, but it definitely helped cool her systems.

"Yum...AB positive...one of my favorites."

She closed the fridge door and leaned against it, sipping slowly. She felt her body heat begin to lower and she sighed lightly at the change. The cool down was needed and she couldn't exactly make the fire roar throughout the cabin, now could she? Looking at Razi, she shrugged and kept right on drinking.

He watched her through his sonar, growling slightly, his face elongating for a moment like a wolf before turning back to normal. "You are a cruel person." He was able to hiss, before he slowly stood up. His footing was much more sure of it, and the muscles in his body rippled, muscles that were toned by machines rather than his own abilities. He slowly walked over to the fridge, eyes closed as he avoided looking at her body. He was fully aware of his body's carnal needs and desires, and he didn't need that spiked by seeing her right now. He walked so he was practically in front of her, and he opened his eyes, looking into hers with his blue ones.

"Excuse me." He said in a slightly high-beat, and then he sent out another heat burst, one that was more directed to the meter around him, but hotter than the last few.

She growled in kind, hearing the challenge in his snarl. She wouldn't be bested by a mere pup! She continued to drink, a third of the packet gone as she stood there. She watched him walk over to her and Hahvoc braced herself against the door though her pose was still casual. She watched him walk over, her fangs longer than normal due to the stimulation of blood. He got closer and closer until heat practically radiated between them. She sniffed, smelling his scent and male arousal that was being touched upon. She withheld a shiver as he spoke and then closed her eyes when heat washed over her. The blood in the bag heated up, no longer cold. She glared at him, orange eyes flaring like the fire as she looked into his blue eyes.

"You aren't excused, Puppy."

She practically hissed the word.

He kept his face neutral, but cursed inwardly. That had used a good deal of energy to do, and she shook it off, only showing annoyance for her blood getting hot. Her words, though, made him hiss, obviously a trait of a vampire, when she called him a puppy. "Careful." He said with a slight snarl, turning away and going back to the couch to lay down, eyes closing so he didn't have to look over soft, tantalizing skin. "'Puppy' has bite."

"Yeah, say that again and see who gets bit first."

She murmured as she finished off the last of the blood packet. She threw it out into the trashcan with a little more force, hearing the metal creak under the weight of her throw. She sighed as she sat at the base of the small fridge and let the coolness of it dissipate the heat. She reached up and opened the freezer and pulled out a handful of ice cubes. She sucked on a few to numb the ache in her gums and used some of the others to cool off her skin. They melted quickly down to little teeny blocks, but she didn't care. She just needed to cool off a little more.

He laid on the couch as he heard her, and he snarled some, but didn't comment. no need to bate the fire, now that she was onto his tactic. He curled up on the couch, focusing on keeping himself warm, keeping the bursts to the absolute minimum for when the air around him became too cold. But, it wasn't too long before his energy ran out. A little after, he felt himself slipping into unconsciousness.

She could sense him slipping into unconsciousness so she stopped being so rude and gathered on of the smaller blood packets. She stuck a straw in it and moved to crouch before the hybrid. She sighed lightly as she stuck the straw between his lips.

"Would it kill you to actually ask for things? And I mean ask without trying to harass me into doing things for you. I'm not going to hurt you and I would like to be able to let you go after tonight or whenever the storm stops....but if you leave, I might as well leave with you.."

She said softly, hoping he would start drinking. She didn't really care if he heard her or not. She was just talking for the sake of explaining why she was trying to at least keep him alove rather than letting him rot like the others of her unit would. she stroked a hand over her hair as she sat down and kept hold of the blood packet.

He was just able to slowly sip on the straw, slowly getting his energy back, waking up as the blood packet emptied. He didn't say a word for a long time, his mind deep in thought, using some of his energy to put up a rather strong barrier from his mind. But, he eventually sighed. "My freedom was short lived. But I can't ask someone else to throw away their life for me."

"If I was on the Council, my voice would hold more sway. But I am not, and even as a trusted friend of the Queen, there is only so much I can do. Alexander and his son were the ones that truly started the project...I suppose I will have to petition them."

She sighed lightly, absently reaching up to stroke some of his hair from his face. She tossed the blood packet into the trash once it was empty. Laying back on the floor, she sighed and closed her eyes. Hahvoc was tired more from the heat dissipation she had to do. She swiped at the sweat on her forehead with a small yawn. Her eyes seemed slightly less luminous, and the fire had died down a little bit. She sighed and moved to put another log on the fire.

He sighed softly as he felt her fingers going and brushing strands of his hair from his face. His eyes were closed as he relaxed on the couch. They opened, though, as he felt a slight disturbance. He turned his head and saw the loss of luminescence in her eyes. "Get some sleep." He said in a strangely soft voice. "I'm not going anywhere." He turned back and curled up almost into a ball on the couch, eyes closing as he drifted off, figuring that it would help conserve his energy. There was a slight puff of heat before he finally fell asleep.

The fire sparked as she tossed on another log on. She listened to him before she turned to watch him drift off into sleep. She studied him as she always had, leaning over slightly to look at his face as he slept. The fire would keep them warm for a little bit, but it would get cold in the cabin fast. She went to the closet and rummaged around, soon finding what she was looking for. She took down two blankets and a few pillows, draping one of the blankets over Razi's sleeping form.

She set up her own little bed on the floor next to the couch, though there were actual bedrooms in the cabin. But she needed to be by the door and Razi in case something went awry. Besides, it was first time she could openly inhale his scent. The tube that he had been kept in had blocked off his scent from her but now she could smell it as it saturated the air. It wasn't overpowering and it ended up allowing her to drift off into a dreamless sleep.

While his body was sleeping, his mind was active, testing every available pathway in his mind, every bit of powers at a minuscule level. Every so often his body would give out a puff of heat, but he was fine tuning it in his mind, making it more of a controlled continuous burn, reducing the energy that he needed to run it. Things were moving very slightly upstairs as he practiced and adapted to his powers.

He soon noticed Hahvoc putting a blanket over him, and he was grateful internally, able to reduce his energy use on keeping himself warm now, since the blanket absorbed the extra heat and held it to him. His body wasn't moving a inch, and he soon saw that she was asleep. He wasn't going to wake, his mind too busy clearing mental paths and making connections for his powers.

He woke around 10 AM the following day, and his mind had changed his appearance somewhat more. His body was a little more toned to help keep him warm in the cold weather and getting rid of extra weight. He stretched and sat up, looking around.

Hahvoc slept rather restlessly, tossing and turning every so often. She sighed once she settled for at least a little while before she sat up, totally awake with one of her hidden daggers in hand. She didn't blink, but surveyed the room and came to the conclusion that it was roughly mid-morning. She glanced about and saw that Raziel was awake and looking...different. She blinked at the change but shrugged. Nothing really knew in the life of odd creatures to begin with. She stretched, literally bending over backwards before she righted herself, standing to her full height. She checked the temperature of the cabin with her mind as she listened to the sounds outside. The snow was still beating down on them.

She didn't say a word to Raziel as she went around towards the back of the cabin, her feet not making a sound as she walked to where a hidden door lay to the cellar. She slipped within, coughing at the cloud of dust that assaulted her. She needed food and lots more than what she had for dinner. Besides, Raziel would be hungry as well. She checked the fridge that was stocked down there and came up with some eggs, bacon, and plenty of toast and butter. She found other small things and hoped that what she found would be enough for the two of them for at least a little while. There were other supplies down there as well, like more blood packets, which she would have to drink eventually. Coming up from the cellar with food in hand, she deposited all of it on the little table by the smaller fridge.

Her mind reached out and ignited what remained of last night's fire before a log moved from the stack and nestled itself within the hearth.

Raziel stood and stretched when Hahvoc went downstairs. His body hadn't changed that much, but it made him more like a adult physically, like he should look at his age. It also helped regulate his body temperature. He had it down now, having a controlled burn that used very little energy. Even so, he needed to get more soon, or he could be facing unconsciousness again.

She had disappeared somewhere in the other side of the house, but he didn't pay that too much attention, sitting back down and laying back against the chair. He had a lot to do still to get use to living outside of the tube, but things were coming fast to him. His mind reached out, and the first thing he noticed was that the snow outside hadn't even slowed down a little bit. So it would be another day in the cabin.

She came back up and lit the fire, and she looked to have normal food. He didn't need it, able to survive on blood and flesh, but he would be courteous for her.

"If you don't want it, don't eat it...And no, I didn't read your mind."

Hahvoc said as she organized the food into little sections to work on. She went over to the fire and stuck her hand in, testing the temperature. She removed her hand and watched steam drift off from it. She nodded to herself as she went to the cabinets and took out a pan. She placed it on the grill rack and put in a small chunk of butter. It moved around the pan on its own as eggs cracked against the side of the pan and fell in perfectly. The shells entered the trash can as she cut open the bacon packets manually. She sniffed the meat and found that it was still good. Another flat pan exited the cabin and landed lightly on the grill rack. A half a dozen eggs rested in the large pan as she waited for the skillet to heat up enough for the bacon.

Leaning back against the small counter, she stretched out her arms and combed her fingers through her hair. After a moment of relaxing, she went back to making breakfast. She took out a few slices of bread and mixed up a french toast batter by hand as the eggs flipped in the pan to cook a little more. Soon, strips of bacon landed on the skillet with a sizzle as delicious smells filled the cabin.

He gave her no comment to her words, determined to try real food, to see if it helped as much as blood and flesh. He watched her cook, eyes following every movement she did with rapt attention. But soon enough, he decided that it was best to make the house hotter, so he didn't use up any energy. And, he wanted some practice at his telekinesis.

His head turned to the logs that were nearby, and one by one he put them into the fireplace. It went from the small log-and-ash fire to a roaring flames and wood, one that heated the house well, so that he was able to stop using his energy completely for heating him. He thrived more in the heat, but he didn't know how she would deal with it. The wood was a little low now, too, but he could take care of that.

He stood and shrugged off the blanket that was draped over him, and he set the table, using his telekenetics to find everything.

Hahvoc didn't seem to respond to anything that was going on when he started to move things about with his telekinesis. She easily adjusted to the increased heat and the fact that the fire burned hotter. She made sure that none of the food burned and started removing what was finished from the skillets and grill and putting it onto plates. It was another fifteen minutes or so before everything was completely done. She washed her hands in the small sink and all the dirty kitchen ware went into the sink as well. She let out a small sigh as she combed her fingers through her hair. She noticed that the table was set and she smiled in the slightest, though it was a very small smile.

She pulled her hair into a high ponytail as she walked towards the table, adjusting her clothing so she didn't look so..provocative. She buttoned everything back up that needed to be buttoned without it being uncomfortable to her. She set the food on the table manually as she looked at him, watching him, wondering how exactly he would react to eating something other than barely cooked steak and blood.

The table was finished setting, and he moved over to it, sitting down opposite of where she was going to sit. He waited patiently for the food to finish, and it wasn't too long until it was on the table for them. He waited for her to eat first, out of some form of respect, before he took a bit of eggs on a fork and put it in his mouth. He ate it slowly before swallowing, his brain registering everything about it: the taste, the energy content, the release quota. All in all, it was good, but he would forever take a preference to blood.

He kept to slowly eating the food though, more out of need than anything. There was no reason to waste such energy when they had rationed amounts here. He took a while to finish, making sure to finish what he took, almost to the very last grain. The plates floated over to the sink once she was done, washing themselves. But his eyes were closed as he kept his concentration, so he wouldn't break anything.

Hahvoc wasn't the kind to eat slowly, but she did so with a certain etiquette. She took small bites and the such, almost too proper for her attire and personality. But she finished quickly, eating enough to feed three human men. She wiped her mouth before tossing the napkin into the trash, watching as the plates and such were cleaned and put away. She studied the man before her, his eyes closed as he concentrated. He would have to learn to do it without that much concentration, because on a battlefield, he would be killed quickly for needing it. She sighed lightly as she leaned back in her chair, tipping it onto two legs as she looked at the ceiling. The snow was still falling, and she wondered if it had to do with a certain elemental she knew. There were some vampires who were wholly connected with nature and she wondered if her rogue friends had been watching her again and attempting to help her out. But she couldn't be sure. She couldn't sense any life beyond the little shelter.

Her head turned in the slightest as she looked over at the fire, the flames dancing in her eyes as she stared. Fire was her element, and she warmed just by the sight of it. Looking over at Raziel, she studied his features before glancing away. Silence seemed to swallow the place whole.

Raziel seemed to be getting a hold of his powers fairly quickly, because before the dishes her done, his eyes were open, looking at her. Studying her, really. Something strange was happening to him, his chest felt a little tight. It wasn't because of the food, he ate a little slow just in case it bothered his stomach. This was something else entirely. He ignored it, though, figuring that he would be able to solve it at another time.

"I'm... sorry about the added heat." He said softly. "I am just use to it being warm, I thrive in it. Though, I did use that power to make you uncomfortable. And I apologize." The dishes finished, and he bowed his head down, showing respect to the woman and elver Vampire in front of him.

"Fire's my element. I am not bothered, but I absorb the heat rather quickly, so it is sometimes a problem when I am not using my ability. I find ways to cope, however."

She shrugged in the slightest, standing up and stretching, several bones popping back into place as she did so. She glanced his way and then at her watch. She didn't need a watch, but it was necessary to have, especially when in situations like this. She yawned lightly before divesting her other weapons and dropping them on the table.

"I'm going to shower. I'll be back momentarily."

She walked away from him, unbuttoning her clothes as she did so. Once at the door of the bathroom, she tossed her shirt on the floor and opened the door, shutting it behind her. She didn't bother to lock it. He wouldn't come in anyways. He was still getting used to his body. She stripped of the rest of her clothes and used her abilities to heat up the water in the tank in the basement. She turned on the shower and entered, sighing at the feel of the spray against her skin.

He accepted her answer, watching her walk off, her shirt slowly falling to the floor as she went into the bathroom. He helped her warm the water tank up, but he had his own reason for it. His body had started to warm up in a strange way, his blood getting warm inside him. He tried to use some of it on the water heater for her, to get rid of excess, but he was still heating up on the inside, and now he could feel himself hardening up below the waist. It wasn't unpleasant, but...

He got up from the table, heading to the couch and laying on his side, facing into the couch as he balled up slightly. His hand slid down into his pants, holding onto his length and rubbing it slightly. It was a weird feeling, but it made him heat up. His mind instantly focused on Hahvoc, and his eyes squinted closed, his hands coming to his chest. He tried to get rid of the heat that was surrounding and filling him, but it was impossible.

Hahvoc didn't take long in the shower, but her mind wandered back to Razi as she rinsed the suds and then conditioner from her hair. She soaped up and then stood under the spray, eyes closed as she thought back to the first day she had encountered him. He had been a little boy then. She had felt more maternal or sisterly towards him then, even when told that she was to be trained to fight against him as he grew if he ever escaped. And then she had seen him in his current state, a full grown man and had felt the stirrings of longing within herself. But she never explored those feelings, or bothered with them. They were troublesome. She sighed and shook herself all over before turning off the spray. She stepped out and toweled herself off, focusing on her body rather than her hair. The steam and scent of soap clouded her senses until she opened the door, towel wrapped about her body. A whiff of arousal and strained emotion reached her and her pupils dilated as her canines extended in the slightest. A quick shake of her head calmed her down and cleared her head, but the smell was drawing her closer to the source. She made her presence known as she walked, feet hitting harder than normal. She cleared her throat lightly before she spoke.

"Raziel, are you all right?"
