The Dragon Knight (Ren Olvry & AlabasterDragoness)

"Mm... someday, perhaps. Even with an alliance, there would be... differences to work through. Dragons and humans are rather different in how they do and approach things; I was an easy one, as I'd started to grow tired of that way of life, but others will not be as easy," Drace mused, for his own part starting to stroke a hand slowly over Joanna's lower back even as her own hands wandered a little over his chest and arms. "It will certainly take a while... but just a bit at a time, as we've been doing. If nothing else, I think a few of those that served me directly would be some of the easiest to manage, to start," he added with a small shrug, idly glancing off in the direction of his old home, at least for a moment.

"Shall we say, perhaps... a few weeks, as long as things go well, I invite one of them over here? At least, so long as he's not already gone looking for me... he should be the easiest to manage here, as he'll more so be fascinated by everything he sees. The two females... may be a bit more difficult, but they may well get on well with you," he suggested. "In the meantime... bed, perhaps, for a bit more rest. We'll have some long days ahead... and even if just for tonight, I think I'll keep you to myself," he suggested in turn, granting the woman a little grin.

"Yes, we'll see where things stand in a few weeks time." As she felt him stroke her lower back, she shivered slightly and inclined into his touch. Soon, she glanced up at him as he stared off into the distance. Surely, he missed his home somewhat, even if he grew tired of it by the time he came here. "I'm sure your followers will be welcomed." At his suggestion of keeping her for the night, she grinned.

"And do what, exactly?" Without doing much, she traced patterns on his hips as she pressed herself against him. She left a trail of kisses along his jawline as she waited for a response.

"Really, you have to even ask? Judging by your behavior at the table, it seemed to me like you weren't quite done for the day yet..." Drace teased, a light, pleased sound rumbling through his throat and his head tilting just slightly to the kisses along his jaw. And, for his own part, he started to slide his hands a bit further downward, just to give the woman a light squeeze into her rear under each hand.

"Once more, then. Then we can simply relax and enjoy each others' company for the night, and make sure we're well rested for tomorrow," he suggested, a slight smirk curling up at his lips as his hands moved down a little further to her thighs, moving to pick her up directly against him and start to carry her over to the bed.

"Mm? How did I behave?" she teased, giggling as he squeezed her rear. "Maybe I was trying to-" She let out a surpised yelp as he picked her up and began to carry her to the bed. She couldn't help but laugh as she pretended to struggle against him.

"Unhand me!" she laughed. "I didn't tell you you could pick me up!" Her smile only gave her away as they inched closer to his bed. Still, it hardly took her very long to plant gentle kissed anywhere she could reach and gently gripping his shoulders. She even shifted her hips against him as best she could before he would lower her onto the bed.

Chuckling lightly at Joanna's supposed protests, Drace let his smirk widen a bit further all the same. Letting a small sound escape him when her hips pushed against him, already feeling the length hidden beneath his shorts starting to stir, the dragon soon enough crawled up onto the bed, only to finally, carefully lower her to her back upon it. Shifting up a little further over her once he'd done that, he started to gently nibble along her own jawline, trailing little nibbles down further along her neck until he reached where her clothing started to cover, just to slowly back away... from that, and his own hips starting to slowly shift against her.

"I suppose... I don't really have to ask...?" he suggested, his eyes pointedly drifting over her clothing, even as he himself undid his shorts and started to slip them off and over to the side. "After all, it's something we should have no need of on any of our beds especially..." he added with a little chuckle, letting his gaze otherwise wander over her once more; something he rather doubted would stop being as enticing as it was.

Joanna rested her hands on his shoulders as he shifted up a little and nibbled along her jawline until he reached her clothes, to which he pulled away and removed his shorts. Smirking, she quickly removed her clothing and reached over to grab his length. "Well, I wear a night gown every now and then, but not always."

Coaxing him closer, she guided him to her entrance where she rubbed the tip over her, eliciting a soft moan from her as she couldn't stop herself. She teuly believed that this would never grow dull for her as she couldn't keep herself away from him, especially not after this afternoon.

Feeling Joanna's grip over his length, Drace exhaled a warm, somewhat shaky breath, barely needing any further prompting before he moved to crawl back over her once her clothing was off. "Perhaps... a bit less frequently at times, then..." he suggested with a little smirk. At least, especially if they were going to share moments like this more, as he had no doubt they would be... though seeing her remove it wouldn't be so bad in itself, he could admit.

For now, though, he exhaled a light, pleased groan feeling the thin tip of his length rub over her entrance, his hips already giving a small shift forward even as her grip remained. Soon shifting his hips a little more into her grip, and a bit toward her entrance, easily enough drawing it more to attention, he reached down a short time later to slowly remove her hand once he was ready. Halfway, he recalled from before... to which end, he started to slowly, rhythmically rock his hips back and forth, a bit more of his length pushing into her each time. Dipping his head down in the meanwhile, he started to trail further little nibbles down along her neck, to her shoulder... down a little further this time, trailing slowly down to her collar and a bit further to one of her breasts, the touch of his teeth, and soon tongue, ever so careful against that curious mound.

"Hm. Then I will probably wear it even less then." As she managed to get a light groan from him before he removed her hand. She moaned quietly as he entered her and kept a steady rhythm of his hips as he trailed his nibbling from her jaw to her breasts. She stiftled a few giggled as she felt his teeth and tongue againsg her skin as she rubbed his ears.

She moved her hips slowly to try and take morenof him without hurting herself too much, though she could only half of hin for now. Her walls still stretched to fit him as best they could.

"Mm, you feel glorious." She kissed the top of his head and gently pulled on his ears as she let out another soft moan.

Letting a slight smirk cross his face hearing Joanna's reaction to his newest touch, Drace soon shifted a little further, granting that mound a bit more of the touch of his tongue. Especially feeling the touch to his ears, drawing a light, pleased rumble out of the dragon and practically prompting him to nuzzle a bit further against her breast, somewhat eagerly starting to nibble and nudge against the curiously pliable mound.

In the meanwhile, his hips steadily started to push a bit faster, a bit harder, still careful as he was to not push in further than she was comfortable with yet. "As do you... and we still have yet more to feel, given time..." he muttered, exhaling a light, warm breath with each push downward of his hips. And seemingly sated with his curiosities, at least for now, he moved his head back upwards, nudging gently under her chin and granting the front of her neck a few small, slow nibbles and warm licks. Steadily, he could feel himself getting closer as her tight walls surrounded him... but he had at least a bit longer to enjoy it.

As he continued to move within her, she moved her hands down to grip his shoulders. Every nibble and lick drew a soft gasp or giggle as she urged him to go on. When he told her they had more to feel given time, she shivered. She was certainly looking forward to that.

As he drew his hips a littke faster, she curled her toes as she dug her fingernails into his fur. Being careful as to not be so loud like earlier, she bit her bottom lip; so hard that she nearly drew blood as she prevented herself from crying out. Perhaps one day she could be scream pleasurably to her heart's content. But with her brother and Quentin becoming a little suspicious, she dared not to.

A bit harder, a bit faster... even if they couldn't make too much noise, for risk of being found out, Drace's ears twitched a little at every noise they could catch. And, for his own part, he soon enough buried his head by her neck, making a small, stifled sound of his own as he pushed in one more time, his own toes practically digging into the bed beneath them as he hit his release into her.

Once he came down from this last one, the dragon exhaled a low, pleased groan and slowly shifted them a little, just as he had before, so they'd both be laying on their sides with him still buried halfway into her. "Tomorrow, then... I'll be right here when you wake. Goodnight, Joanna..." he muttered, offering her cheek a small nuzzle before shifting a little to rest his chin lightly over her head.

A first trip off to a local village tomorrow, then... then getting at least one more dragon here sometime after, if all went well. Were he to be honest, he was rather looking forward to having at least one familiar face around.

Her body twitched as she got closer to her release, gripping his shoulders harder. She soon convuksed underneath him and suppressed a pleasured cry. As he adjusted himself to lay next to her, she still felt him partially inside her, she inclined into his nuzzling before she drifted off.

She awoke once during the night as she thought she heard someone at the door, only to realize that she was likely hearing things. When she awoke again, the sky wad just beginning to lighten as she turned to Drace.

"Oh, Drace..." she whispered, running her fingernails over his furry cheeks. "Drace..."

His ears twitching slightly as he heard Joanna speak, and felt her fingernails slide over his cheeks, Drace soon enough exhaled a light, content hum, an ever so slight smirk seeming to appear across his lips before his arms wrapped a little further around her. "Mhm... I'm awake," he muttered, idly shifting his head a little to nuzzle his cheek contently against her own. A bit longer, he felt... he'd always been good at getting up in the mornings, but then the previous day had had quite its fair share of activity.

"For fear of you attacking me again and not leaving me with enough energy to get us around the area..." he teased, the smirk on his face only serving to widen. "Shall we grab an early breakfast, and take care of anything else we may need to -- including informing at least a few people -- before we leave?" he suggested with a curious little tilt of his head. "If all goes well, perhaps we might even be able to visit more than one... though I'd dare say the next few days I might have to spend acclimating myself a bit further."

Joanna returned his smirk as he awoke and wrapped his arms around her more. "You don't want me to attack you again?" she teased, running a hand over his arm. She pressed her head into the pillow as she exhaled a soft sigh. "Breakfast sounds good right about now." Nuzzling her cheek against his, she sighed contently as she was still reliving the night before in her head.

"I don't have much going on this morning, but I will notify a few guards of us leaving for the day. I hope we can visit more than one village today." It would be ideal as it would expose Drace to more of her people.

"Later. After we're done with our trip," Drace replied, that smirk still lingering on his own face. Breakfast, then... though, he supposed, getting up and dressed first, neither of which were hugely enticing prospects at the moment. Finally shifting himself a little after a short while, he pressed a small kiss to Joanna's cheek, then another to her lips, before steadily slipping out of bed, allowing himself a nice stretch in turn.

"As to the villages, then... should we start from further off, where they'll likely be more hesitant, and make something of an impression that way? Or perhaps taken an easier road with a few closer ones, where they'll have been rather out of the way of the entire war?" he asked, glancing curiously back to her even while he slipped on a decent pair of pants for the day.

Joanna returned his kiss before she watched him slip out of bed and stretch. "Perhaps starting with those least hesitant would be best. If we start further out, there may be a little hostility. But if we start closer to here, some would be more likely to go further out and share what they've seen. That way, the villages further out that way would be prepared."

She knew all too well what happened when they were caught off guard. As he slipped some pants on, she finally crawled out of bed and ran her hands over his back. "I'll be back," she said, picking up her clothes and kissing his cheek. She went to her room and put on a simple gown and her mother's locket.

Closer it was, then; it seemed a fair plan to him. To that, then, Drace gave a small nod, soon exhaling a light, content hum as he felt Joanna's hands slide over his back. Once more glancing off after her as she left, he waited for her to return for now before starting to lead the way out of the room, down toward the dining area so they could start having at least a bit of breakfast prepared for them.

A bit of breakfast, and it seemed they'd be able to leave quietly enough, without anyone getting in the way this time. He could only hope that could continue... but for now, the priority was at least getting to the first village, and letting the queen do what she needed first.

After she emerged from her room and headed to the dining room, she quickly ate and went over a few things in her study before she was ready to head out.

A few guards stood in the hallway. "M'lady," one said. "Is there anything you need-"

She shook her head. "We will be touring the nearby villages for the day. If I need anything, I will speak to the local guards."

"As you wish." They bowed and returned to their posts.

"That's odd. The guards usually don't ask me anything unless I address them." Her brother, no doubt.

"Mm... normally, I suppose. Likely keeping an eye on things after yesterday," Drace grumbled slightly. Given that they'd made no real secret of their intents to visit some other villages in the area, he couldn't really be surprised either... though he did at least hope word had gone no further, at least yet. At the least, there wouldn't have been all that much time for it.

"Shall we leave from the balcony again, then... or perhaps out front, where they can actively see us? Who knows, it might be some small comfort for at least a few of them, seeing their queen leave on her own... even if it is with a dragon," he suggested, giving a small shrug. "I can't say I'm very... partial to simple little public displays like that, but if that's what I have to do to make more progress through this, than so I shall."

"True." She pondered over how to leave for a moment before placing a hand on his arm. "We should leave from the front. That way no one would become wary of our excursions." The last thing she needed was for her brother to keep coming after her for leaving abruptly. As they exited theough the front gate, the guards quickly bowed as they made their way the closest village.

"Some of them might be a little anxious around you. There shoukdn't be a problem if I'm walking with you."

On that point, Drace gave a small nod, letting Joanna largely lead the way. Idly giving a slight nod to the guards -- who knew, perhaps it would be one small, slightly awkward step toward making himself look a bit better, for as little as he'd interacted with anyone besides the queen herself yet -- he all the same kept an easy pace for now along with her, seeing that going by foot appeared fine enough so long as it wasn't too far off.

To the first of the villages they might visit, then... and quickly noting some of the guards wandering the outskirts quickly come to alert when they spotted his larger frame first, before spotting the queen herself and seeming to relax, at least slightly. "So far, so good, it would seem... though it may yet be best for you to do most of the speaking, at least for now," the dragon suggested. At least, that way they'd be hearing from someone they knew first... especially as attention seemed to quickly start to spread.

Nodding, Joanna approached the guards and gestured to Drace. "He's with me."

"Yes, Your Grace."

She had Drace close beside her as they began to recieve looks of bewilderment and awe from those passing by.

"Mama, it's a dragon!" a little girl squeaked, reaching to touch his tail.

"Darling, you need to ask," the mother replied, looking up at Drace.

"Oh. I touch tail?" The girl looked to be no older than four and she flashed a gap at the front of her teeth where one front tooth used to be.

Simple and easy, then... or well, Drace hoped. Plenty of space as well, perhaps naturally; and not just for being in the presence of the queen, no doubt. Children, though... those were something he couldn't say he'd ever been good with. Though certainly, here they weren't raised with the sole purpose of being 'strong', or some such thing... he certainly couldn't be as strict with them as he might've been back home, whenever he even had to deal with them at such times. Mostly in the scope of being a head knight.

"If you wish. Just... no tugging, if you would," he offered, at least managing as much as a slight, awkward grin otherwise. Besides that somewhat fuzzy tail of his curling up just slightly. "The same... can go for the rest, at least this once. I imagine there are others that are at least curious, so long as nobody... climbs all over me, or anything of the sort..." he offered in turn, if still somewhat awkwardly. But if it would help for his image overall, as he hoped it would... he could at least allow this much.

The little girl cautiously approached and ran a hand ober the end of his tail. "Whoa..." She had to be reminded not to hurt him once or twice, but she did fairly well and with her curiosity sated, she patted his feet and ran back to her mother.

"Not used to children, I see," said Joanna as more children excitedly ran up to them. She crouched down to their eye level. "We need to be very careful and not hurt him. There will no climbing on him or asking him to roar."

"Aw!" the children collectively sighed in disappointment, though they proceeded to come up and take turns anyway, all the while minding what they had been told.

"Not terribly, no," Drace replied with a slight sigh, though he wouldn't let too much show. Appearances to keep up, and all... though a slight smirk to barely tug at the edges of his lips all the same on Joanna's last point. She still hadn't let him the last time either... but there would probably be a time for that. Later, when more knew at least of his presence here.

For the moment, though, the dragon otherwise stayed fairly still, only once exhaling a slight, disapproving hum when he felt a little tug to his tail. Just that much, though, he could easily leave alone otherwise, particularly for the sake of keeping up in a land very different than his own, in various ways.

Though there was also no avoiding certain questions, as the dragon would've expected, one woman from the crowd that had so far gathered making a point of speaking up to ask if he'd been fighting in the war, to which Drace exhaled another slight sigh.

"I had, as you might expect. For that, you can think of me what you will... but the war is over, and I serve queen Joanna alone now, no matter what happens," he assured... or at least did his best to. But then speaking had truly never been a strong suit for him.
