So to have the last laugh, the demon lord pulled through the whole remaining attacking group. While the weaker and lower level henchmen got easily turned into other things, but he was a leader among them, pure, strong... So the demon lord made sure he had a body that would be easier to broke his will with...

You can open your awareness to detect such forces to know the location of any celestial, fiend, or undead within 60 feet. You know the type (celestial, fiend, or undead) of any being whose presence you sense, but not its identity. Within the same radius, you also detect the presence of any place or object that has been consecrated or desecrated.

Illyana was a changeling that a Fae lord replaced a couple‘s child with. They were unaware of the change for years, and when they found out, they were so upset, they sold Illyana into slavery. After years of being a sex slave, a Fae Lord appeared before her and offered to free her and give power over illusions if she served him. She must obey one command from him a day, but the command cannot force her to harm herself or perform sexual acts. After a year spent on mutually beneficial tasks, the Fey orders her to journey to the Demon’s realm.

Xian was raised in a secluded and isolated monastery, she has no real recollection of her parents and more or less considers herself to be a child of the order. In addition to the harsh physical and mental training, the young monk's body has been covered in mystic tattoos (which occasionally appear to move when viewed out of the corner of the eye). It was just prior to the addition of her 'final ink' that Xian found the courage to confront what she was becoming. Determined only to use her knowledge to help others, Xian has been on the run ever since, only occasionally looking back (and even then only to make sure none of her former comrades have drawn close).
