"No, I don't imagine you did. Well I'm sorry for everything that happened to you..." Trystan didn't really know how to react to that other than to say what he had. No, she hadn't had much of a choice in trying to handle what had happened to her but at the same time, she had still come through without being some angry poltergeist like those you would see in a television show or something. She had hidden some of his things, but she hadn't tried to kill him or anything...had she? Her next words made him a little more sad, and he listened to her while she looked up at him. Her eyes were...pretty. Expressive. Even her frown was pretty, though he wanted nothing more in that moment than to see it turn into a smile instead. It seemed clear what was bothering her anyway, the more she spoke the clearer it became. She was lonely...and despite suddenly having somebody to talk to after so long, she didn't want that to suddenly go away, to be gone. She didn't want to take what was there and enjoy it when it could go right back to how it was again...the poor girl must be so scared.
"I don't know...I don't know what the future holds, little spook, but I am here now?" Even when she had looked away she hadn't pulled away from him, his hand was still resting on her cheek, and when she looked back up she looked about to cry, tears ready, lip trembling. "And I'm really not going anywhere. I'll stay with you...for as long as I possibly can." He was making promises that he really shouldn't, but something drew him to her that he couldn't quite explain. "And we can find some way to help you, to help you move on...so you don't have to be alone anymore. I don't know, I don't know how to help you at all but I can try." He leaned in close and he kissed the top of her head again, smiling softly. "And who knows? Maybe I'll never leave, I don't want to leave, I don't see why I would. I could live here, with you, if you'll allow that. We can be friends, yeah?"
