A Rose By Any Other Name (Frozen Princess and Verum Cor Meum)

Upon hearing the ruckus in the princess' room Faye's eyes widened and she reached for her sword however as the king soon came running she straighten up letting her sword hilt go. She nodded as he spoke of the princess being like a cat in the morning, something Faye remembered when they were kids. She didn't kneel this time figuring the king would simply scold her if she did it, but she did give a small bow wanting to show some type of respect.

"I don't think a leash is needed sire." Faye replied holding her hands up, she wasn't sure how the villagers would react to the princess being lead by leash in public. It was an amusing though though one she would not think on any longer as to not insult the princess.

"The eldest is the heir so I see...... Um, excuse my manners sire yes I understand." Faye had begun to speak her mind on the topic of the sisters, she understood why the family would want their eldest married before the youngest. For the oldest was most likely the heir, unless a male was born. At least was the custom in Adestira.

"I'm glad to receive this order your majesty for I was planning on asking Elizabeth to summer celebration so that I could keep an eye on Rose during it." Faye informed them hoping they would both approve of her doing this. She was really doing it for Rose more so than herself anyways though she had no objections to doing it either. As long as she wasn't made to dance. "What has occurred last night?" She inquired turning to face the king.

The King said nothing about the bow. Nodding with a smile, as it seemed Faye was at least trying to be more informal. When Faye was about to explain the tradition, then cut herself off, the king looked amused for a moment. "Thought fer a wee moment there, the ol' Faye was coomin' oot. Aye, I hae fergotten aboot some traditions regardin' th' eldest bein' heir... She'd indeed hae th' tavern upon her mother's leaving this plane." He left that there. Not saying she could speak her mind, but not saying she couldn't, either.

Williem seemed pleased again. "Tha' outta lift BOTH their spirits. Elizabeth hae ne'er been asked, and Genevieve hae ne'er been able to attend." He reached into his robe and presented the letter. Ink blotches were everywhere, including over some words, others were faded as ink ran out, and we're barely legible. "Ms. 'Ost moosta been inna hurry t' git it down ere she forgot. Worse than Doc Pfiffer's writing prescriptions, i' tis."

The letter was as follows:
Dearest King Wil[faded];
On th' e'en o' 10 J[splotch], in the year o' our Lord 13[faded], at two hours after dark, H[splotch] Gaston, a visiting d[splotch] of the land of Gaul did man[faded] nae one but [splotch] o' me servin' wen[faded]. After he did grab Gen[faded], who is betrothed to yer [splotch], I had him bodily [faded] from th' premises by Laird [splotch] and Lady Dahlia of the Kingdom of A[faded]. He proceeded t' make a mockery of [splotch] kingdom and I called in th' magis[faded], where an altercation en[faded]. Swordplay resulted which left [faded] persons injured and sign[splotch] damage done t' me bar. Send a [splotch] at yer earliest convenience an' me grat[faded]. Yours, Mrs. Constance Host, [splotch] and proprietor Ye Olde Taverne.

Giving Faye a chance to attempt to read it, Williem said calmly, "Aboot all I c'n make oot is some altercation occurred there possibly involving Genevieve and some servers and a visitor from the mainland." He pointed towards Gaul (present day France).

Faye gently took the letter and raised it to her face. The most she saw it's condition her eyes narrowed in annoyance as she attempted to read said letter. It wasn't the best, but she figured she got the jist of it. Than the king gave his summary which luckily made things more clear for her. Some uppity man attempted to grab Genevieve and a fight broke out. It was a common enough issue that seemed to plague all kingdoms.

"I see milord, we shall head out at the princess' early convenience. I will see it handled." Faye would raise her hand to her chest in a salute as she officially accepted the order not that she would have turned it down anyways. It all worked out anyways for she wanted to visit tavern to speak with Elizabeth anyways. Turning to Rose she awaited her to finish her tea so that they could head out. She wasn't going to rush the princess.

Since the tea had been brought hot, Rose had been sipping it ladylike throughout. At the mere mention of some guy hurting her beloved Genevieve, she choked hard enough on her tea, that even Solaria came flying out of Rose's bedroom. She waved off the concerned looks, and when she noticed they needed to be on their way to the tavern, she downed the rest in a mighty swig and handed cup and saucer back to her father.

She was heading for the exit before anyone could blink. "Well coom along! Les be after tha' blighter!"

Williem sighed. "I hae a good mind t' let ye train 'er t' be a warrior. Tha' way she cul' hae a few gils if that's 'er cuppa. A warrior princess c'n hae three lovers but nae more.... Provided they're female. I c'n shew ye where in th' annals after ye solve this wee headache, if ye wish." It was clear Williem was giving up on Rose's temper. "I hae seen 'er this mad one other tyme. When Cinnamon Baker was hurt in th' summer celebration tryin' t' stop a fight. Took three o' me strongest knights t' hol' Rose back. Ye sure ye will nae be needin' tha' leash, lass?"

The tavern had not opened for business yet, as Constance didn't believe in serving lunch or alcohol before ten. It was maybe eight. They would have to knock.

Faye watched the princess with an amused glance before looking to King Williem as he spoke to her once more about the princess' temper. "If that is what you wish milord, I would be honored to train the princess is the way of the blade." Faye stated happily actually it was if she wanted to train her. She had always wanted to be a teacher, as a kid she would always tell Rose and Williem how she wanted to teach for the kingdom. That was why when she chose to become a knight it had caught most off guard. "Nay a leash is not needed milord. I should be going milord before she runs off without me." Faye gave a bow before quickly speed walking up to the princess.

"Please calm down milady." Faye commented as the duo made their way to the tavern. Once there Faye moved to knock on the door than backed up a few steps as she waited for the door to open. "Milady please do not get into any fights. If we find the man I will deal with it. I must insist you stay out of harms way." She tried to speak hoping Rose would listen though she doubted it.

Rose glanced over, still frowning. She had beaded tears, almost as if by hurting Genevieve, this man had indirectly hurt her. "Hae ye ne'er been close to anyone, Faye?" She asked surprised more that she was told to calm down. "Me two closest friends are me heart. I will fight anyone if they hurt those two. Anyone."

Constance opened the door drying her hands on a towel. She was bigger bosomed than either of her daughters put together, but Elizabeth was probably twice the size of Genevieve, there. "Leave eet t' King Williem t' send a knight AN' Genevieve's betrothed. 'E moosta known tha' as soon as she got back from 'er errand, right upstairs she went, an' 'as nae left 'er room since. Go t' 'er Princess."

She closed the door after letting them in. Straightaway, Rose flew up the steps, to the side of the destroyed bar area, two at a time, and disappeared around a corner. A knock. A door opened. Soft conversation that faded as the door closed. "Ye moost be th' new knight I heerd aboot from th' Laird and Lady of Adestira, jes ere they helped throw Henri Gaston of Gaul oot on 'is fat arse." She waved towards her counter bar that stretched near the length of the wall, save two doors on either side. There was significant damage, just as the letter (almost) said. There were three broken counter stools over to the side in a heap, the counter panels facing out were either caved in towards where Constance stood to mix drinks or flat out broken in several places, and broken glass and spilled liquids (presumably liquor of one kind or other) littered the area. A large section of the mirror behind had a shatter mark with traces of a dark red, nearly brown colour intersprinkled, like a body was thrown against it. There was obviously broken bottles on the floor behind the counter.

Faye didn't know how to respond to that, of course she didn't. Everyone Faye had held close where either dead, or gone from her life. Sure Rose was alive but they weren't really close friends anymore. Simply a knight ordered to protect her. So Faye didn't have answer to that. The door opened before Faye could get out a response and the woman who owned this place arrived. Faye didn't make to follow Rose up the stairs seeing no reason to really she should be safe up there, and if she was attacked Faye could run up there quick enough.

"Ay ma'am call me Faye." Faye moved to the bar to start investigating the area. She calculated the damage in her head and than turned to look at the madam of the house. "So the man was already thrown out? Is he in the guards custody than?" She inquired wondering if she would need to hunt the man down, or what was going on here. Bending down to pick up some glass to study it she heard the footsteps of someone coming down the stairs. A lass who Faye could only presume was Elizabeth.

Faye didn't pay much attention as the woman seemed to be speaking with Constance. After a moment she stood up to turn to the two ladies as she glanced over Elizabeth and her mother. Elizabeth looked back at Faye and smiled though didn't seem to speak just yet. "Are the lord, and lady still here? I'd like to take their statements."

Constance nodded. "Aye, boot 'e coom back in mocking our kingdom as I said in me letter." To the second question she merely nodded, "Nae een th' castle dungeon, but tis where 'e belongs. Especially after throwin' poor Marilyn, one o' me servin' wenches, int' th' glass. Was meaning t' use 'er t' bowl over th' magistrate. Dunno if ye remember how tall 'e be." She pointed to the spot where the shatter mark was. She also held up her hand to indicate approximately where six and a half feet was off the floor. "Aye, lass. Upstairs, straight an' third door." Since the doors all faced the railing that overlooked the more restaurant area of the tavern, there was only one direction to the doors Faye could go.

Faye listened close and watched as the woman indicated his height, this man was clearly problem that needed to be dealt with. Especially if he was coming back to sprout off more nonesense how the city guards had already caught him baffled the knight, but she would settle it herself. "I see, thank you ma'am. I shall go speak with them." She moved to head out when Elizabeth spoke up.

"I shall accompany you fair knight, I seen the man do what he did to my sister, and our workers. I would be able to point him out if we see him." Elizabeth offered and Faye simply nodded before heading up the stairs and Elizabeth would follow her closely.

Knocking on the doors to the noble's room she waited. They were from her kingdom meaning she would need to be on her best behavior so she got ready to offer bows. Elizabeth came with upstairs so the knight couldn't leave without her.

Unlike in the Kingdom of Briarwood, and others where a woman could answer the door even if a man was present, it was Lady Dahlia who said "A moment please." Before the Laird himself opened the door. And noticed who it was standing before him.

(I have no name for the Laird. Another reason for the splotch as I was drawing a blank. And still am.)

Faye gave a bow the moment the door was opened to reveal Laird Alexander and his wife Dahlia. Faye had known them in Adestria for many of years though not closely. She had guarded their son from bandits a few years ago, though not all was great between her and the couple. For their son had asked for Faye's hand in marriage and Faye had turned him down. "Milord Alexander, Milady Dahlia it has been a long time." Faye greeted standing up straight now. "I am investigating the incident that occurred last night any information you can give me would be helpful." She smiled not meeting the lord's eyes knowing eye contact with a higher up in Adestria was not looked well upon.

"Nice to know King Williem is using his best. Enter." Alexander stated calmly. Dahlia simply nodded an acknowledgement of the bow. "All I did was help throw the ruffian out, although it took three of us. Lady Dahlia grabbed the door for us. Tall man and quite stout."

"Quite." Dahlia agreed with a simple nod as an echo to enforce the man's size in weight.

"We may not agree with everything King Williem does with running his kingdom, but it works. So mocking Briarwood as Mr. Gaston had as he barged back in. Well. But that's getting ahead of myself. Dahlia, tell her what you told me you witnessed."

Dahlia spelled out in vivid detail how it had started peaceful enough, but after about the third Stein of ale, the man from Gaul was all hands on pretty much every female in the tavern. He grabbed one server whose name escaped Dahlia, and after that one yanked herself free, he put his hands on a female patron who proceeded to pop him in the eye. Undeterred poor Marilyn was the next victim, and it looked near Gaston would yank her arm out of it's socket. Someone's wife was next, and he was told politely at that point that he had to leave and was no longer welcome in the establishment. About that time Genevieve had appeared from the kitchen laden down with a family's meal and Mr. Gaston grabbed her and for lack of a better term, felt her up and told her she needed a man. Just grabbing her and fondling caused her to wail like a banshee, and that was the last straw. Constance had Dahlia's husband, the husband of one of the victims and the patriarch of the family whose dinner was now all over the floor, bodily remove Gaston. It took all three to hold on to him as Alexander had stated, so Dahlia helped by holding open the door. Gaston barged back in and started mocking the kingdom and flipped over a large oaken table in a rage, threatening to tear the establishment asunder and see to it Constance would have her tavern taken by force. He'd forget everything if he got two of her wenches for wives, Genevieve and Marilyn, the latter he grabbed as "insurance" once the magistrate showed up. Those two battled by sword with poor Marilyn now more or less Gaston's shield, making it nigh impossible for the magistrate to gain any leverage. It was contained to the alcohol section (which was evident from the damage) and when it looked like he was going to lose, Gaston hurled Marilyn into the plate glass, although he'd been aiming for the magistrate. Every person, male and female, patron or worker, ganged up on the male, and the magistrate blew a whistle. Ten strong guards hauled him to the cell where he awaits transport to the castle for the King's final judgement and hopefully many many years in the dungeon. Dahlia purposely left out how Marilyn was still with Doctor Pfiffer's for continuing treatment of her injuries, as one look at the plate glass would have told Faye that Marilyn was actually lucky to be alive.

Faye stayed silent throughout the story everything seemed to match up perfectly between what she saw at the scene, and the story of the owner. She had every grounds to take the prisoner to the King to await the King's justice. In Adestria the man would probably lose a hand, or far worse for what he did. However here Faye presumed he'd only get a few years in jail. "Thank you very much for your stories milord, and milady. I will see the man to the king. I bid you both a good day, and hope the rest of your stay goes smoothly." Faye gave a bow heading out of the room, and turning to look at Elizabeth who had been following her this whole time. She would help locate the town's guard to help transport the man.

However one burning question remained in Faye's mind and now that she was alone with Elizabeth she had to ask. "So he touched two tavern maids, why not you? You're fairly attractive." She looked at the girl who was blushing at the comment.

"I was not working ma'am. I was out on a failed date with a farmer's son." Elizabeth informed and this made Faye simply nod before she went to go find Rose and Geneviere. Knocking lightly on the door that Elizabeth would lead her to. "Milady I am to take the troublemaker to the king. Would you care to join, or shall I return later to get you?" She questioned she didn't need to be in Rose's face twenty four seven at least not when she figured the princess would be safe. However she would prefer if the princess came so she needn't worry.

Genevieve's call of "Enter." drowned out Faye addressing Princess Rose. Rose simply patted both her hands she held gently as she listened to the report.

"I think we both shall go, my love." Genevieve said as she arose, pulling away from her Princess. "I've only told my side to you. Your father shul' be told. Especially since I'm betrothed to you."

Rose agreed and had Genevieve open the door as it was HER room . They both left to join the two in the hall, with Genevieve clinging to Rose with both arms, which gave Rose no choice but to shut her door for her. "I woont 'im 'ung." Rose said, looking like she was ready to cry again.

When they got to the Magistrate's building, the tall lanky officer smiled, giving a bow to the princess and presenting the knight with his hand. "Long time, no see! Now I understand why. Busy trainin' ye were. S'pose ye be wantin' th' blighter. E'en though 'e's chained, shackled an' hae 'eavy balls keepin' 'is limbs in check... I'll be sendin' 'alf me men. All but two will be outside at th' carraige." He looked at Genevieve. "Ye shur ye wanna be here, lass, an' nae ootside?" He asked worriedly.

Rose said, "Tha's a good idea, magistrate. We shall do as ye suggest."

As Rose led Genevieve back out, the magistrate got two strong men to follow him and the ladies to the holding cell where Mr. Gaston was standing fully shackled exactly as the magistrate said. It was obvious that he wasn't taking chances with this one. "Ye be off t' see the King, now. May God hae mercy on ye."

The physician, Doctor Pfiffer, would be informing the king of Marilyn's condition when they got back. The princess, and Constance's daughters would hear him say she turned the corner, but they weren't out of the woods, yet, but the physician was very hopeful. It would lift their spirits. Faye's only if she remembered the platinum blonde as a girl and playmate of the Host sisters.

Faye stayed by the criminal until they reached the castle when she moved to stand off on her own though Elizabeth stuck near her. She didn't want to disturb the princess and her lover. Moving to the throne room she watched as the doctor and the king spoke. Bowing she looked at the king. "I hope I have fulfilled the request to your liking milord." Faye stated before moving to let Rose, or anyone speak to the king. It was a simple enough job, which was slightly bothering Faye.

If she didn't get to use her sword soon she'd go crazy. Looking to Elizabeth for a moment she opened her mouth to finally ask her to the summer celebration however stopped as she couldn't come up with the words.

Elizabeth stayed as close to Faye as she was allowed, and tilted her head when she saw the knight begin to speak but say nothing. Smiling confused she looked away. She was in a good mood since everything seemed to be handled now.. Besides the repairs to the tavern that is.

King Williem listened as Genevieve addressed him and curtsied, before explaining the events of the night before. Gaston seemed to be smug about the whole affair, despite the fact that the Doctor's testimony on how bad Marilyn was hurt, although he was hopeful for a complete recovery.

The King frowned at Gaston. "I hae ne'er seen a Gaulite act as atrociously as ye hae. I daresay it's borderline treasonous t' nae only Gaul but Scotland as well. I cannae speak for Saxon, Adestira, Edinborough and Midlothian, nor Eire... But I'll clue ye in on something. If only one other kingdom agrees tha' wat ye did was treason. Well then, ye'll be sentenced accordingly." He looked at those present. "Faye. Wha'says Adestira of Mister Gaston's actions. Abuse or treason? Doctor Pfiffer, wha' says Eire? Genevieve. Wha' says Gaul?"

Dr. Pfiffer was originally from the emerald isle of Eire (present day Ireland), Genevieve and the other Hosts were from Gaul... Or at least Constance was born there, even if she grew up in Scotland; and Faye trained in Adestria. Briarwood would decide on the merits of the other three.

Genevieve was obviously afraid of Gaston, and said abuse. Dr. Pfiffer said it was closer to attempted murder, which left Faye to cast the final vote.

Faye eyed the man she already had a answer but she proposed another option. "My lord what this man has done is no short of treason. However instead of a dungeon, or a hanging I propose something more interesting. In Adestira a man sentenced to a crime is given the option to fight for his freedom. I ask that you allow this fool to duel me. If he defeats me he should be allowed freedom, but I assure you on my honor as a knight he will fall." Faye offered knowing she was speaking out of place but well her sword hand was twitching and she wanted to fight.

"Either way it is just a suggestion my lord." Faye would kneel despite knowing the king would not like it, it was an apology for speaking her mind. Her eyes than went to the others wondering if anyone had an objection. Really if someone did object she would find it offensive and a mockery to her skills as a knight. She hoped everyone present trusted she could take this man.

The pause was unnerving for the Princess and the physician. Daughter and well respected doctor both watched Williem, quietly tapping his fingers. He nodded to Faye , acknowledging the apologetic bow, so at least that was something.

Finally after an agonizing ten minutes, Williem finally arose. "After the knight offered that oot, I watched ye practically beam a' th' prospect. Ye WILL, shul'ye defeat the knight..." He had to glare at the physician who snickered at the very prospect of Gaston defeating any knight, little alone one trained in Adestria. "I get, good physician, the very prospect of any criminal defeating any knight as ludicrous... But I've been surprised afore." He then finished his sentencing. "Pay restitution to Mizz Constance Host the sum it will cost to repair all damages done t' th' tavern. Ye are farther banned by royal edict to e'er set foot in, nor darken the doorway of the tavern again. Tis a lifetime ban. Ye cannae expect t' git away wi' everything. Shul' ye lose... Ye will spend the next ten years starin' a' th' rock walls o' a dungeon cell, an' if Marilyn loses her battle anytime in th' next ten years; ye will hang."

"C'n I wahtch Faye kick 'is bloody arse? Pleeeeese?" Rose practically begged.

"Aye..." Williem groaned exasperated, "jes stay outta Faye's way."

(Do the whole battle as I'm better at a student learning, than actual skilled swordsman/woman. I'll answer in the afternoon, tomorrow. Sunday.)

Faye fought back a smile as the King gave his response to her request her eyes going to Gaston. Leading the man to the court yard without further ado she stood there waiting for the soldiers to gear up Gaston. She would not fight him while he was shackled, nor would she fight an unarmed man. So they gave Gaston a adequate sword. Surely everyone wanted to stack the odds in favor of Faye winning, but the knight made sure that the armor and sword given to man were capable enough for him to have a chance.

Once he was outfitted Faye stuck her sword in the ground as she awaited the horn to be played by a servant. They had amassed a small crowd of people wanting to see Gaston pay, and others who just wanted to see Faye in action. Now the two looked at each other from across the field. Faye had her hands on the hilt of her sword with her eyes clothed. Gaston was bumbling about with his new armor and sword. As the horn was blasted through Gaston came running at Faye who stayed still.

Faye kept her eyes closed until Gaston was close, and as he went to strike her she quickly pulled her sword from the ground and parried the man causing him to lose his footing. Faye didn't move to strike instead letting him reposition to strike her again. This time she struck his hand with her blade after dodging not to hurt him much just enough to cause him to drop his blade. The crowd at this point was cheering for her to just end it. However she allowed Gaston to take the blade again however this would be the fine attack.

Gaston would go for a overhead swing, but before she could lower the blade Faye zoomed at him cutting him horizontally the armor the only thing saving him from a swift death. Tossing her blade in the air she caught it and went to slam the blade into Gaston's stomach to kill him, but stopped as she looked to the King. Her foot was on Gaston's hand so he couldn't pull any tricks. In her kingdom she would kill him here and now, but she wasn't sure here. "Sire, may I?" She questioned a smile was on her face, clearly she loved fighting.

Williem wasn't at all shocked at the swiftness that the battle was over. He listened to the crowd. He looked toward his daughter. Rose looked back. "Ye did say he hae ten years t' t'ink o'er 'is actions, Father."

"Ten is sufficient fer me." Genevieve answered. "By then I will belong solely to your daughter, although I technically already do in most kingdoms, jes by bein' betrothed to her."

"Besides." The physician chimed in. "He should still be made to pay restitution and ne'er set foot in th' tavern agin."

"Aye. Well spoken, good physician." Williem nodded to the doctor. Looking at Faye, he said, "Nae. He is defeated. Th' guards will poot 'im back in 'is shackles an' chains, and poot 'im in th' dungeon fer th'next ten years." He said.

Faye stayed with her blade at the man for a moment even once everyone spoke. She would listen to the order, but it was clear she did not like it one bit. Sighing softly so no one would hear she got off the man and placed her blade back at her side as she moved away to let the guards take him away. Walking back over to the others she'd glance at them for a moment before turning to watch as they dragged the man away to serve his time.

Elizabeth moved over to Faye and smiled. "You fought well!" She commented glad her sister and everyone else got to watch the man get sorely beaten and to top things off beaten by a woman. "Princess Rose is lucky to have you." She added Faye simply offered her a smile.

"It was nothing, I only wish he was better at fighting." Faye commented clearly disappointed on his display she had been given a chance to show off, but it wasn't the challenge she wanted. "I hope I did you justice." Faye stated turning her gave to Rose, and her lover as she was speaking to her.

Genevieve smiled with a nod and blush as Rose also nodded.

Then she grinned like a cat that caught the Canary. "An' did ye ask 'er yet?" She had to admit she hadn't been paying attention if Faye had or not. The Princess was asking more like a teenager would another about getting a date to go to a dance rather than a princess checking up.

Faye looked at Rose like a deer staring down a lion that was about to strike. She hadn't expected for Rose to say that especially in front of Elizabeth. "N...No I have not." Faye simply replied hoping Elizabeth nor anyone else would question what Rose had meant... She was sorely mistaken.

Elizabeth tilted her head. "Ask who what?" She inquired quite the curious woman.

"Ahem.... I suppose I have to now." Faye tilted her head away from Rose looking quite annoyed, but in a comedic way as she put on the spot. After about a minute she turned to face Elizabeth. "Would you...care to grace this knight with your hand at the Summer celebration?" Faye spoke in the most formal way she could her face was bright red clearly embarrassed.

Elizabeth giggled, and smiled before hugging Faye. "Of course I will!" She was clearly happy despite it not being the most romantic way of asking. Backing away she looked to her sister. "It looks like we can finally partake in the celebration sis." She had always felt bad that their mother kept Genevive from going because of her.

"...Good now if you'll excuse me." Faye replied her face was redder than an apple at this point, turning she took off into the halls. She knew the king would probably yell at her for leaving the princess like that, but Faye was a woman at heart and she was quite embarrassed and wanted to get out of there as quickly as possible even though Elizabeth said yes.

Genevieve nodded. She noticed the King practically glaring at Rose and it almost sounded like he was growling at his daughter through clenched teeth. Seeing this, Genevieve figured it was best NOT to give a similar tease as Rose had to Faye.

"Rose. Why are ye sittin'there lik a bump? Ye embarrassed 'er, now ye c'n go after her, aye?! Genevieve. Ye will stay. Tis somet'ing the princess moost attend t' herself, as she acted very childish."

Excusing herself, Rose bolted after her knight, saying, "I dinnae mean it t' embarrass ye!"

Faye had her way to her room she wasn't planning on throwing a fit she had merely wished to be away from the others after the embarrassment she wasn't good normal emotions. She had hide those away to focus on her knight hood, and now she felt like a idiot for asking someone out like that. Sure it had gone well, but she had much rather have done it on her own timing, and away from prying eyes.

Hearing Rose, Faye turned to look at her. She wasn't sure how she felt at the moment kind of mad, but she knew better than to yell or be upset. "It's done, and over with milady." She sighed her face was still showing her embarrassment. "I am sorry for storming off." She uttered the last bit she was apologizing for acting like a normal girl for once. "I will accept any punishment you, or the king give." She added bowing her head ashamed in her moment of weakness.
