Hi there! I'm Candira. I've been here for a long time, but I don't hang out here much anymore. I'm looking to do a little short-term role-playing. One-shots are definitely welcome. Also, I do not play off-site, so please don't ask for that.
This thread is for finding partners who have similar interests and skill levels. Please be sure to read the things I'm looking for in a partner before you contact me.
I definitely don't want to do non-con and rape, nor do I have an interest in age play or incest. I am also not interested in anything having to do with watersports or scat. If you're still with me, keep going.
Settings I am interested in:
I don't have a strong preference right now; truly, it just depends on the plot. I can do modern, fantasy, sci-fi, or some mix of the three. I do not care for post-apocalyptic settings.
Pairings are more what I focus on because I get ideas based on the pairing and then work with a partner to flesh them out--I find rps to be more enjoyable and collaborative in that way. I have a few scenarios that are meant to be starting points, but nothing that's ready to play without your creative input. I don't do plug-and-play plots because I find that boring. Collaboration is half the fun
Just because it isn't listed here doesn't mean I won't go for it, so if you have something in mind, just let me know. I'm feeling a little more on the vanilla side of things lately, but don't be afraid to ask for something you really want. The worst I can say is no.

- I love good grammar and spelling, so if you can't construct a coherent sentence that properly uses punctuation and subject-verb agreement, I'll have to politely decline. The occasional typo or autocorrect mishap is expected and accepted (I make them, too, because I mostly play from my phone without a physical keyboard), but I expect a decent effort and at least cursory proofreading. Nothing takes me out of the rp faster than not being able to understand you.
- Be flexible about responding. I have a very busy life, and, sometimes, I won't be available to play for days at a time. If that's a problem, you may want to find another partner.
- Be part of the creative process. Collaboration is crucial if this is going to be fun. Don't expect either one of us to do all of the work alone. It really annoys me when people reach out to ask about pairings and they don't come armed with their own ideas. Asking about mine is fine, but not having any thoughts of your own isn't going to win my favor.
- I'm not interested in your novel. Roleplaying is a collaborative activity. Do not control my character or their reactions without my permission. If you want to control everything, there's nothing left for me to respond to, so why did you even ask to write with me? If that means writing shorter paragraphs so I have time to breathe and react, then so be it.
- I want a partner who has a Light-hearted tone. I don't have time in my life for stuff that's just going to depress me. I'm very empathetic when it comes to my characters, so if they're sad or afraid or traumatized, that seeps into my real life. I don't like feeling that way. Sex should be a fun, positive experience for the people who consent to take part in it. That doesn't mean we can't have darker elements; it just means that's not where I want the story to live.
- Have some romantic flair. I love a bit of romance in my roleplays. It's not always necessary for the plot we work out together, but it's great to have.
- I have visual preferences. If we use faceclaims, I prefer some form of art (paintings, realistic renderings, anime, line art ,etc.) over real humans. I am not limiting you or myself to that, but it is my preference. Something about real people being used for face claims feels weird to me.
- Third-person past tense, please. It helps me keep a degree of separation between myself and the characters and keeps things consistent. I do not do first-person and do not like responding in third person to first-person writing. Similarly, I do not like when people PM me with ideas that are written in first- or second-person and immediately put me in the shoes of a character. Please don't do that if you don't want to be politely turned away.
- Sad boys aren't my cup of tea. There is a difference between a character who is persevering despite their sad past/trauma and a character who is just perpetually sad and a needy ball of nerves. That dynamic works for some people, but I am not the one, honey.
- I often roleplay from my phone. That means I'll show up as online all the time, even if I'm not active on the site. It also means that it's easier for me to make typos while I'm posting (I usually go back and fix them once I notice them because it bothers me to leave them alone). It also means that I will likely not be making pretty posts full of formatting and coding (also largely because I wouldn't know how). If that's a deal-breaker for you, I wish you luck in your search.
- I am not single and not looking for a hookup. Period.
- Let me go. If I tell you that I want to drop the rp, please try not to take it personally. Sometimes writing styles don't mesh or I lose interest in stories. Please do not cling to me and ask me what you can change; I am not interested in helping you overhaul your style to better suit my tastes. If you ask for my reason, I will be honest and tell you, but I don't want to have a drawn-out conversation about it; it's very uncomfortable. Similarly, if you tell me you want to drop, I will not be offended or hold it against you. If I ask for a reason, just be honest and then I will drop it and we'll go our separate ways.

- Adventurers who've been traveling together recently went through something fairly traumatic. Our characters get together for a little sexual healing and to vent some of the frustration from our earlier adventures.
- A female pirate's loyal crew turns against her after a job gone south--they deliver her into the hands of the naval officer who'd been pursuing her as a peace offering/distraction while they escape. (We could reverse the gender roles for this, no problem)
- A tabletop approach where we can plot out a general premise and story together. One of us would essentially DM and work to create a variety of potential partners and scenarios based on the story and the listed premises. Can have romance or no.
- A mentoring program has matched a successful professional to someone who is just coming out of the system. The two are slated to live together, and despite their efforts to maintain distance, the two start to fall for each other. What system and what type of professional is debatable and can be determined by the setting we choose and the world building we choose to do. Not really interested in a power play for this one--I just think it's interesting to see the dynamic between someone who has their shit together and someone who decidedly does not but wants to.
- The sexual tension between a hero and their villain has reached an all-time high. They both want it, but they know it should never come to be. And yet it does, over and over again.
- A villainous character on a redemption arc meets the ray of sunshine that makes them want to be a better person. This is pure fluff and romance, but there’s plenty of room for smut.
- Two bandmates are riled up from being on tour and in such close proximity. They decide to throw caution to the wind and go for it, intending it to be just a way to relieve stress.
- A scenario where a woman is tricked in some way into having sex with someone. She may not have been looking for it or been in the mood before she was tricked, but she'll quickly get on board once she's in it. (This is meant to be light-hearted bimbo meets opportunist)
- A world where casual sex is the norm. Our characters could have a random encounter somewhere and decide to have sex right there, or maybe we play multiple characters that interact with the mains in this world. I am open to a lot of ideas, but I don't have anything concrete in mind.
- For the right partner: A reverse Alice in Wonderland. I would play female versions of the characters in the story and lead your character through a set number of steamy encounters. This could be something that plays into the idea above. Wonderland can be as sex-driven as we like.
- Naughty takes on fairy tales: Red Riding Hood meets a werewolf in the woods but maybe he wants to eat her in a different way; sleeping beauty is awoken by a thief who is interested in more than one kind of treasure, etc.
- Seasonally specific: wanna do something for Halloween? Perhaps the witching hour changes costumed revelers into the real deal (bunny girls, witches, werewolves, vampires, etc.). Maybe a coven of witches is using the town's sexual energy as a sacrifice to their dark master and envelop the city in a bubble of lust-inducing magic, turning the most mild-mannered individuals into horny little goblins who can't control their urges. You tell me!
- Winter holidays: sexy Santas and elves, naughty Christmas parties, New Year's Eve themes. Maybe a hypnotist at a holiday party has fun with a sexy volunteer. I am here for it. I have a few ideas, so let me know if you're interested.
