"then I think I'm gonna just hang out with you from now on." She giggled and kissed his cheek "Not that you'd mind right?Your fangirl queen on your arm." She joked and rubbed his hand.
She smiled and giggled feeling his figers on her cheek "I like being with you I have alot of fun and feel so relaxed." She turned the corner with him.
"Its always good to have security in this world." He said slowly to her as they reached the car. Alfred quirked a brow but nonetheless he made his way over and opened the door for them standing to one side as he nodded politely to her. "Hello young miss.' He said.
"You make me feel secure."She walked with him right to the car and smiled to Alfred"Hello Alfred nice to see you again." She slipped inside and looked to Bruce glad to be here with him it just made the day more interesting.
"Well thats good to know." He said slowly as he nodded to her. "The same miss." Alfred replied to her before he closed the door and slide into the front seat. Revving the car briefly he took off from the curb.
She smiled and looked to him and rubbed his cheek softly with her thumb and squeaked feeling the car move forward and blushed putting her hand in her lap. "I think I found a house I'm not sure though I've never bought a house so I don't know what to do to be sure its a good buy."
"Ah" He said as he handed a card to her. "Call that man he'll appraise it for you, he's the guy I use." He said slowly to her before stroking his fingers along his jawline in thought.
She took the card and smiled "Thank you Bruce I'll give him a call tomorrow morning best time to make calls." She watched him and blushed softly and put the card in her purse and folded her hands in her lap giggling lightly.
"He's a good guy" He said as he looked out the window at the passing buildings smiling to himself. His family owned so many of them, yet he took the time to know all of the workers. He wondered on a choice few in each as they passed.
She smiled with a nod and laid her head on his shoulder "Comfy." She giggled and looked up to him "Well if you need art I can help you with that." She giggled again and figured he didn't like art most guy she knew didn't "Though most guys I know don't know who Picasso or Monet is let alone what types of art is out there." She sighed saddly a cultered man would be so nice to have.
"I own several of their works, I'd like to think I'd know who they are." He said as he continued to look out the window. "I don't think I'd need any help acquiring, or identifying them dear." He said to her slowly with a laugh.
"You get me liking you more with every word." She smiled and giggled softly "Oh can you identify mine?" She asked and looked to him with a grin wondering if he had any of hers if so she'd be red as a beet. "I mean if you've seen mine I know they aren't as famous but I like to dream."
"No, I can't, the museum simply formed an exhibition which requested specifically your paintings not because I suggested them but because they just happened to see them while passing your studio miles away." He said slowly with a shake of his head.
She squeaked happily "I'm in a museum?" She said wide eyed and giggly "I can't believe it no one ever told me I was." She rubbed the back of her head with a nervous smile "Why the head shake? Can't believe it either?" She laughed and looked at him.
"Well the man who was running the small gallery showcasing your work simply had it moved for you, I assumed he told you." He said to her. 'From your expression I wondered if you hadn't visited the gallery and noticed pieces missing." He said slowly before he looked up. "Alfred, to the Metro Museum" He added. "Yes Master Wayne" Alfred replied instantly before taking a left.
"No no one told me." She sighed and looked down "I um I knew they were in the gallery but none were missing." She sighed and looked down "I hope that the oldest aren't missing." She looked to Bruce and frowned "What do I do? I can't replace them I did them when I was a kid"
"I moved them and put them in the museum dear." He said correcting her assumption and assuaging her fears. "They are all quite safe and rather well insured should anything happen to occur." He said simply before he stroked her cheek.
She smiled hearing they were safe and squeaked happily with a blush as his hand touched her cheek. "Thank you Bruce! How can I repay you? Maybe a work of your very own?" She hugged him very very thankful he saved her life since her art was her life for the moment as well as the only friends she had Bruce and Alfred.
"Its not a big deal, and I'm not much for particularly collecting it, there are more than enough around the house." He said slowly and simply as he sat back and looked out the window his eyes running over the buildings as they passed. He pondered on a number of places and people within each once more. Leaning in he ran his fingers along the windows almost longingly as they passed a particular theater on the way to the museum. As though sensing it Alfred said "I'm sorry Master Bruce I did not recognize the" "Its ok Alfred" he said cutting him off
"Oh I guess my hobbies aren't that interesting." She moved her arms to her lap and frowned looking at her hands the mimic was never interesting to anyone. "I can be so many things but intersting." She mumbled and looked to the window and wiped a tear away remembering something her mother said then looking hearing about the theater not saying anything it wasn't her concern.
"Yes, I heard about your accident dear." He said as he took her hand in his. "Very little escapes my ears, but I do find you interesting." He said slowly as he looked to her and gently stroked his fingers along her cheek.
"Which accident my crazy mother or my powers?" She looked at him and sighed lightly "You do?" She blushed and felt him hodl her hand and her heart raced then her skin tingled as his fingers touched her cheek looking much happier now.
"We all have secrets." He said to her slowly as he slowly interlocked his fingers with hers and leaned in close. "I know most of yours." He said slowly to her. "I find you interesting, and lovely."
