the unexpected hero! (me and lan moore)

Lan nodded, "Yes, tomarrow I'll get you to your home, then I gues we'll see what happens from there." He went to his clothes, putting them up to dry.
 
natalya nodded and moved towards him slightly, but not close enough. "thats fine...although you should know...i am rather shy." she admitted with a deep blush.
 
Lan smiled "I can see that... Sleep well." He put his sword near where he was sleeping, still in the nude, his eyes dozing off.
 
she giggled softly and rolled her eyes at his response, "and i can see that you are going to be difficult arent u? good night." she grinned and went into the other corner to curl up. not too long after the temperature dropped enough that she was shivering,so she swallowed her pride and quietly moved over to him and curled around him.
 
Lan's eyes opened when she came over to him, he wrapped his arms around her and pulled her close, trying to keep her warm. He was use to the cold by now.
 
she smiled softly and snuggled close to him and whispered in his ear, "thanks." she blushed deeply and slowly drifted off to sleep. that night she dreamt of her homecomming and it was wonderful, but what made it all the happier was the fact that she felt his presence next to her, smiling and being accepted by her family and friends, the things they did too.
 
Lan slept lightly, waiting till she awoke, he could never have a good sleep, he always had to be alert. Still having her near made it better, she felt and smelled so great.
 
when morning came she woke automatically but didnt jump, she smiled and snuggled close to him. "mmm...good morning." she cooed softly and looked into his eyes. she went to run her fingers through his hair but stopped her hand mid-air, not knowing if it would offend him.
 
Lan looked at her, seeing she was going to do it, "Go ahead, I don't mind." He figured his clothes would be dry enough yet, still naked against her.
 
she blushed lightly when he realised what she was doing but she didnt stop. she moved her hand slowly up to his hair and ran her fingers through it. "mmm...its so soft." she cooed and snuggled close to him, loving the feel of his body pressed to hers.
 
Lan's own hand went into her hair, brushing it back before his hand moved down her back, all the way down and blushed, 'We... we should be on our way..."
 
she smiled at him as his hand reached for her hair and pushed it back. she blushed deeply as she felt his hand slide all the way down and she bit back a soft groan. "umm..yes perhaps we should." she sighed and looked into his eyes.
 
Lan looked back into her eyes then got up, helping ehr up as well, "All the other elves must be missing you." He then walked away from her, grabbing his clothing and starting to change.
 
she smiled at him as he helped her up, as she did she gave his hand a slight squeeze. "what makes you say that?" she asked him as she went to see if her clothes were dry yet. she thought about what he though of her,she liked him well enough but she wanted to get to know him more.
 
Lan shrugged as he put his clothing back on and the sword on his side, cross bow strapped to his back, "I figure they would just miss some one as important as you. I mean it's not like you'd want to stay around one of my kind the whole time."
 
she laced up her corset and pulled on her skirt, it hung low over her hips but it provided freedom of movement for her. she heard his words and was tempted to turn around and ask him why but she waited a moment and then walked over to him, "im not very important but important enough, however i would like to spend more time with you if you would allow me the company." she murmured.
 
Lan looked to her, 'Well We'll have till we get to your home." He smiled as he lead the way, "Come on don't want to stay behind now do you?" He didn't want to get attached to her, he realized she was an elf, he was a neko, it would never work between them.
 
she blushed lightly at his response but nodded, she didnt want to get left behind so she hurried to keep up. she loved being in the woods, it was her second home but she was not foolish, it might be quaint on the surface but it could be dangerous to its inhabitants. she was lost in thought as they travled, thinking about him and what would happen when they arrived. to keep herself from getting too forelorn about it she sang softly to herself.
 
Lan Looked back at her as they walked, a soft smile on his face, " Traveling alone like you are is very dangerous, I can't believe you did it." His ears twitched a bit, listening to the creatures around, making sure they were in no danger. His tail moved back and forth, wondering what the other elves would think of him, would they dislike him?
 
she smiled tartly at him and replyed, "oh well you see you caught me at a bad time." she teased him. "normally i am a fighter, i can hold my own but i was simply indisposed at the time." she chuckled at her banter but kept walking. she noticed his slight distress of being uncomfortable so she smiled reassuringly to him and asked softly,"is everything ok?" she wanted him to be ok with this, to feel welcome but it seemed quiet the opposite was going through his head.
 
Lan sighed, "Sorry I'm just not use to being around other people, especially not ones of my kind. Usually I'd just stay out of their sight no matter the reason. It's strange that I would even have the guts to come near or that I helped you. Maybe something about you makes me want to help you." He didn't know how to put it, he wasn't usually social.
 
she smiled and shook her head, " no there is no reason for you to appologise to me. i understand and im sorry if i have made you uncomfortable, would you prefer that we stick to the shadows for now until i can get an audience with the court, i must let them know that i have returned safely thanks to your help." she added softly, wanting him to know how grateful she was to him for saving her life. she blushed lightly and crept into the bushes nearby her room, so that they could sneak up.
 
Lan fallowed behind her, being as silent as possible. He waited till they were inside to speak, "I'm glad I was able to save such a beautiful creature as you." His tail moving back and forth as he looked at her then at the home, 'Been a long time since i've been in a home." He stayed close to her, blushing as he stared at her, she was amazing, he was liking her more and more as time went on.
 
as they moved in the shadows she couldnt help but notice how stealthy he was, she was very impressed. she grinned to herself but then blushed deeply at his words, did he just call her beautiful? she smiled and turned to him, "well im not too sure on the beautiful part but i thank u very much for saving me." she replyed before her eyes found his tail and she had to repress a giggle, he was so handsome and very endearing at times. "that must have been very hard on you." she murmured and came a bit closer without realising it, "well this one is open to you anytime you wish it."
 
Lan moved closer to her as she spoke, 'It was easier, once I saw you." His hand went to her cheek, petting it softly, "Such a beauty, I had to save it." He blushed a bit as he stopped petting her, 'I'm not sure why I would need to go to a home, maybe I would enjoy it with company like your though..." He then pulled closer to her yet again, his lips pressing softly against hers. He couldn't help him self at all.
