I know you're watching ((Candira and Lord Hack))

"Not much," she said softly. She looked up at him and was struck by the beauty of his face for a moment. But he'd used the word "benefit," and that didn't sit quite well with her, so she looked away. "I won't feel right until she wakes up and talks to me..." she looked up at him, still feeling sad. "I don't know what to do. I feel like this is my fault."

He considered that for a moment, that she blamed herself, rather than him, was an advantage for him, but he had to be careful that it stayed that way. Seeing her warm up to him a bit, he scooted closer to her. "Why did you run from me?" he asked again, even though they'd already had this conversation. Perhaps the guilt of her mother looking after her would change her reaction just a bit.

"Because I was afraid. So many strange things were happening to me, and your sudden appearance wasn't helping. And I still don't understand why you're appearing in my dreams, or how those marks got on my body. Wouldn't you be afraid?" Sophia shook her head and stayed put, too exhausted, even in her dream to move away.

"I didn't hurt you though, did I?" he asked slowly, something like concern in his voice. "Left marks yes, but they never caused you pain. I never did anything but give you pleasure. The marks were simply meant to tell you that you had more than a dream. That your pleasures were real.." he continued with his silver tongue. "I never wanted to do anything but relax you, and bring you pleasure as you rested. You look like you could use that right now..."

"I suppose that is true....You never really hurt me. But you have to realize how terrifying that would be. To wake up from a dream feeling absolutely depressed and empty and then get ready to hop into the shower, and what's this? Claw marks? Oh that makes perfect sense, considering there's NO reason for it to be there!" She frowned and felt a wave of guilt hit her. "I'm sorry. You didn't deserve that. If you just wanted me to relax, you should have told me all of this or showed up in person--assuming you are real, you can show up, and you're not some sort of demon as my priest seems to believe."

"I didn't want you to feel to empty. Which would be worse dear, to awake from a dream feeling empty, but with signs that it might be more than a dream, and may happen again, or that you would simply wake up, feeling empty, and wondering if you're insane?" he asked, slowly getting up, and moving behind her, moving his hands to her shoulders. "These days priests see demons everywhere, they don't have the influence they once did, and God has become so far removed from life they will accept anything as a sign of him, even if it's simply an enemy for him." he told her simply.

What he said made sense to her, but he was still dodging the one question that burned inside of her. He was doing it very well, in her opinion. As his hands came to her shoulders, she tensed a bit, but after a few moments, began to relax for him. Sophia was still unsure that she could trust him. For the moment, however, he was a comfort. She could at least hear what he had to say. "If you're not what they say you are, then what are you?" Perhaps that would make things more clear, though she doubted severely that he would answer her honestly, if at all.

"What am I?" he asked in a tone that suggested he might be asking it of himself as well. "Certainly a being that is beyond a human, perhaps I am a demon." he said, leaning in to kiss her neck, as he continued to message her. "Or perhaps an angel, or a genie, or any other being." he continued, messaging her shoulders, and leaning his head so that he was whispering right into her ear. "But that doesn't make you trust me, does it?"

"Truthfully? No," she said, shivering as he kissed her and whispered to her. she was starting to relax just a little. "You have a real knack for not answering questions that way. There's a theory, you know, that the less a person knows about someone, the more they are uncomfortable, so they have to find more--but by not answering me, you're kind of making it worse."

"Let's see than, what do you need to know about me?" he asked, kissing her again, and feeling her relax. "My name, as I've told you, is Kelrock." He started, and then, suddenly, she was naked, as he slowly began messaging down her back. Even though he was just using his fingers, it would feel as though he was rubbing the most luxerious of scented oils into her skin. "I am a being of pleasure and dreams, who finds lonely woman like yourself, and pleases them while they sleep. Than, after a few weeks, I can appear in the flesh for a short while, for as long as the woman enjoys me..."

She would have freaked out about being suddenly naked, but she had been almost stunned by his sudden openness--and the fingers on her back were beginning to feel very nice. "Mmmh, you sound like a dream player to me. Not the most appealing of notions, but it's a nice boost to my self esteem, I guess." She frowned softly and turned her head to get a better look at him, glad that he couldn't see all of her body--though it wasn't as though he'd never seen it before anyway.

"Mmm, I can be more than that, I just need some time in your dreams first. Besides, it's no less enjoyable for you. In fact, don't lie to me, you know that night was the best you've had your entire life, even if it was mostly in dream..." he said, licking at her neck, than pulling back slightly so that she could see him, though his fingers were still working over her body. "And besides, you know you want me, you even said after waking from that dream you felt empty, as though you'd lost part of yourself, right?"

She frowned. "I suppose..." Her eyes rested on his face and she stupidly let her guard down. "You were the best partner I've ever had...and I did feel empty until you reappeared..." the logic was twisted, there was something that was missing from his little sentence. "I want to trust you...but something is just standing in the way. I'm not sure why...." Sophia turned away from him again....he almost had her.

"Shh." he said, bringing a finger to his lips. "Good things come to those who wait, and time is a factor of trust as well." He told her, knowing that she was very close to giving in to him. She just needed a little more of a push. "Just relax for the moment, and enjoy. Trust can come later. After all, I've done nothing to harm you, have I?"

"That doesn't mean you won't," she said with a frown, thinking of her past relationships and sinking a little deeper into her sadness while he worked with her naked body. "What is it about me that you're so attracted to. There are plenty of other women like me in the world."

"And most of those lonely beautiful girls would accept me without a second thought. After a visit or two, most of them would simply start to worship me." he told her, feeling her tense up a bit. "Not you though, you're a smart girl, who questions things who come her way. And a challenge as well. You're not the only girl who's like you, but you are the only girl who is you."

"So the only reason you want me...is because I'm a challenge?" Her clothes returned to her body, thanks to her subconscious. "Then I was right to not trust you. You may not be a demon, but you're not good for me." She frowned and stood up, pulling away from him.

"Hmm..." he said, realizing he'd made quite a mistake. He could end the dream and ensure she would have no memory of it, but that was a temporary solution at the very best, and he gained nothing. "That's hardly the only reason dear, but you think so little of yourself. You don't see the guys who give you a second look, or even notice the way your friends always laugh at your jokes. Or how much your mother cared about you, when she wakes up, the first thing she'll do is hug you, glad that you're safe. She won't care at all what's happened to her." he said simply.

She frowned, doubt in her eyes. Even if that were true...was he really being honest with her? "I don't know..." she frowned and looked at him, fear creeping back into her, along with frustration. "How do I know I can trust you?"

"You don't. You don't know if you can trust anyone." he told her simply, it was the truth after all, anyone could lie, anyone could betray. "Trust is simply the faith that a person won't hurt you, and I know you're a faithful girl." he told her, moving after her, but not touching her. "I know you enjoyed the first dream. Trust me for a bit, I promise I won't leave any more marks, I promise I won't hurt you. Why don't we just see where this can go?"

"Well....I...." she frowned and watched him, trying desperately to not think of that first dream, the image of the man before her. She tried to remember the warnings of the priests at her church, her own judgments about him. She wanted to trust him...but she was too uneasy to do it just yet. "If there's nothing you can do to earn my trust...is there a way to secure a promise?"

"What do you mean?" he asked slowly, walking so that he was right before her, his entire body on display for her, and he knew she liked what she saw. "Like some sort of magic? Sure, but nothing your priest would approve of. Men of the faith tend not to like magic at all. Or did you mean something else? I always keep my word, but if you don't trust me, that's not going to get me closer to your trust."

"I want you to promise me that if I want out, you'll let me go," she said sternly, feeling slightly breathless after she said it. "If you can't make me that promise with confidence, the answer is no." Despite that fact that he was beautiful and charming, that he really did seem to be trustworthy, she wasn't going in with no way out. If her priests were right, she didn't want to be someone that couldn't be saved.

Slowly, he took her hands in his, pressing them together lightly, and staring right into her eyes. "I promise." he said, staring right into her eyes. "If you get uncomfortable, if you want out, just tell me, and I'm gone..." he said, slowly beginning to message her hands with his thumbs, still staring straight into her eyes.

She stared back into his eyes, apparently searching for truth as she got lost there...and then there were his hands again and she took a deep breath. "That makes me feel a bit better. I'm still a bit nervous about you, Kelrock...but I believe that everyone deserves a chance."
