I know you're watching ((Candira and Lord Hack))

"Beautiful, vibrant red hair, smart, fiesty, great in bed, and just the slightest bit vulnerable. Who wouldn't want you? I didn't mean to make you fear me, simply show that you had more than a dream lover." he said, fading away entirely for a moment, then being there, but looking fuzzy, almost entirely gone.

"Why seek me in my dreams?" she asked, watching him her heart going out to him just a bit as he explained himself a little. She had no way of knowing whether or not it was a lie, but she hated to see anyone in pain, especially since seeing him had finally broken the emptiness she'd felt without him, although her prayers had helped her. "I don't know if I can trust you...I'm sorry."

He decided the strongest argument was simply none at all, and slowly, he faded away, out of her dream, hopping her sudden longing along with her sympathy for him would cause her to rethink. Though quite honestly, she couldn't trust him, not one bit.

Sophia woke after the man vanished and put a hand over her heart. The priest stopped praying to see how she was, and she told him about the dream. The old man furrowed his brows. "He may want your body child, but you must not give into him. You were right to not trust him. I felt the presence of evil in this room...it still lingers. A demon wants you." She gasped and stayed in the little bed. "Pray my child. I will return when I have discussed this matter with the others. Stay here, and say the rosary."

She nodded and took the rosary off, starting to pray as the man left.

He watched as she awoke, licking his lips. For a moment, he thought she was going to give in to the temptation, but as the priest spoke, he realized her will was just a little to strong for him. For now anyway, he might be able to get her later, if she thought she was safe. For the moment, the priests argument of him not being safe seemed to hold, for her anyway. He'd simply watch for a bit, not acting.

((I've been trying to think about something to write...totally blocked. I don't want her to give in just yet. Something has to happen that wins her over. Any ideas?))

Sophia continued to pray until she became too curious. It had been awhile since the priest had left her alone, and she still couldn't understand what was going on.

Kelrock waited at he entrance of the church, floating right above it. The priests couldn't do anything to him here, not directly anyway, so he simply waited, though he didn't see her exit over the next couple days, not once. What were she and the priests planning? He didn't know, but perhaps it would be better to mark another, less faithful girl... Still, shame to loose a gem like her, he'd wait a few more days...

Unfortunately for Sophia, she needed to leave. That very moment, her mother needed her desperately. She'd been in a terrible car accident. She had been bleeding severely and Sophia was needed for a blood transfusion. As quickly as she could, she left, forcing the Priest's protective barrier to go unfinished as she left. They would need to start all over again when she returned. Sophia left the church looking well-rested, but worried and determined to get somewhere fast. She got into her car and headed immediately to the hospital.

Kelrock almost cackled as she left, following her car, but not doing anything to her yet. He doubted he could stop her from going to her mother, with all that devotion she had, but he didn't want to risk it. Almost certainly, she would have to sleep outside the church tonight, and than, she would be his. He already knew what he was going to do, what he would say, how he would wrap her around her finger, as she was for just brief moments the first night. He watched, smiling, and waiting for his chance.

Sophia practically flew into the ER, immediately hustled by doctors to the room her mother was in. There was a terrible looking gash that had been stitched together on her mother that made her feel sick, but she was so worried and sad that it was all she could do to keep herself from crying. Shaking, she sat on the bed next to her mother and let the doctors attach them, sharing the blood. After it seemed as though her mother had enough to live on, Sophia was released into the waiting room.

Her mother would live, that was the one thing Kelrock was sure of. Unless one of the attendents really fucked up in the aftercare. And they would almost certainly ask Sophia to stay the night, assuming she didn't just decide to do it on her own. Excellent, all he had to do was wait. And in here, he could play with it a bit. Waiting room chairs were never relaxing, and after seeing her mother like that, she was bound to be more than just a little stressed. Once she slumped into the chair, he moved up behind her, invisibly, and gently, subltly, began to message her, trying to do it in a way that would relax her and she likely wouldn't notice.

Sophia was very tense, her body under a great deal of stress as her mind stuck like glue to her mother's condition, the details of which were not readily available at the moment. deciding that she just needed to take some deep breaths, she leaned back in her chair and closed her eyes, doing just that. She didn't notice the pressure that was being applied to her tense muscles, but she did slowly start to calm down a bit, her body loosening in the slightest.

He continued to slowly message her, trying to lull her into a light sleep if he could. She was stressed enough anyway, her body could certainly use it. But even if she didn't fall asleep right away, it didn't matter, she was certainly going to before she went back to the church, and he was sure he would only need one dream.

Sophia was too worried to fall asleep. Each time she started to doze off, her body work her up again. Finally, she was approached by a nurse. "Miss Lane? Your mother is in stable condition, but we'd like you to stay the night until we can be sure she won't need further treatment. At the moment, there's an empty bed next to your mother. If we need it, we'll wake you, but you're welcome to sleep there instead of in this waiting room."

Sophia nodded and dragged her drowsy, slightly weak body from the chair and followed the nurse. "We did give you some nutrients, but I'll see if I can't bring you something from the cafeteria. You'll need something in your stomach after giving so much blood."

"Thank you, nurse. I'll just wait then...."

The demon practicaly licked his lips as he followed her to the bed. Not long now, a short meal perhaps, if she didn't fall asleep first. As soon as Sophia lay herself on the bed, Kelrock began casting a spell on her, a simple thing to remove stress, that would allow her to sleep, even with how worried she was about her mother. After all, the only thing she could do for her was stay close by, and if she had to give more blood, she would want to have her rest...

The redhead felt much better now that she was in the same room as her mother. The woman was still asleep, but that was a small worry. After all, she needed her rest. When the nurse brought Sophia a plate of food and she ate it quickly before she lay down. Feeling a bit better, she let her guard down and slowly drifted to sleep.

As soon as she fell asleep, Kelrock appeared, looking over at the various machines on the girls mother. After all, if she died, things might become more difficult for the demon. She would be fine, for the next few hours anyway, and she'd sleep for longer than that. He went over to the door, and locked it, knowing that her mother would be fine, and not wanting anyone to disturb Sophia. Once he was done ensuring his privacy, he went over to Sophia, and began lightly rubbing her shoulders, waiting for her to dream, so that he could enter it.

Sophia took a few moments to settle into a deeper sleep and begin to dream. Tonight, her dream brought her into the room of a castle tower. She sat on the cold stone wall of her balcony, feeling vulnerable, as though she might fly away if left in such a place. She wasn't scared. The redhead that sat there was numb to most feeling but for sadness.

It was an interesting setting, the castle, and to him, seemed somewhat appropriate, like going after a princess almost. And the whole of the setting had an overwhelming sorrow to it, although the cause of it was clear to the demon. For a moment, he thought about how to approach her, and settled on flying onto the balcony, not with any wings or anything, superman style. He said nothing, simply looking at her, and waiting for her to react, wondering if she would realize it was him right away.

Startled by his appearance, Sophia's grey eyes widened. How did he get here? Her sadness, however, quickly came back to her. "Kelrock?" she questioned, unsure if it really was the man that continued to appear to her. "What do you want?"

He looked at her, the overwhelming emotion still sadness, with maybe just a slight annoyance with his arrival. Still, it was certainly better than other feelings he arrival might cause. "Just to talk, for right now." he told her in a way that would make it unclear whether or not he was the demon from before. "You have the time, and you really could use some rest..."

She curled further into herself and looked down. "I suppose. Well, if you're going to talk to me, you may as well come closer, or sit down." Though her voice was under control, she looked as though she might burst into tears any minute. Something needed to be said.

He sat down, as she had offered, looking over her body, practicaly feeling her tension himself. "Your mother is going to be ok, at any rate, with the treatment she'd received, her injuries won't prove fatal." he told her, looking over her body. "Promise."

"She's in the hospital. She's unconscious. I'm worried, and I have a feeling that she was coming to see me." Her disappearance surely would have caused her mother to come over. "Anyway, what do you care? you only want my body. Isn't that what you told me?" She closed her eyes and rested her head on her knees.

"I never used the word only." he said simply, thinking of how to console her, especially when he wasn't the person she wanted to be comforting her. "If you stress out to much, it could be bad for you, and your body shutting down doesn't benefit me. She is going to be ok, thanks to you showing up to help her. Doesn't that make you feel a little better?"
