"Satlyn?" He called. "Everything alright?" He got up and went to the door.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She gasped raggedly and coughed, "Y...Yes...!" She called. Was she crying too?

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Are you okay?" He asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

The door opened and she stepped out, drying her eyes gently, "Could I have some water...?" She asked.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He nodded and came back with a cup of water for her.

She took a few sips and moved to sit on the bed, muttering a small thank you.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"What happened?" He asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She sat quietly before she started crying again, "I couldn't be sure at first...I thought it was just stress from trying, but..." She looked up, smiling as wide as she could, "I can feel them...I can feel the little life starting to bloom inside me...it worked...!! Hulara, it worked!" She sobbed.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He smiled and held her close. "Thank the nine.." he said.

She held him tightly as she cried, turning her head to kiss his cheek over and over.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He held her close and kissed her again and again.

With the news of her being with child, General Tulius himself gave Hulara his congratulations. The Solitude guards also gave their sincerest congratulations to Hulara and Satlyn when they were seen out and about. Hulara seemed convinced however that this meant nine months without being with his wife intimately. Even the priests of Mara advised against it while Satlyn was pregnant. They didn't know Satlyn very well.

Hulara was ready, or so he thought. He'd steeled himself, resolved to face nine long months of nothing. A small price to pay, in his eyes.

What a fool. A very caring and loving fool, but still a fool. Satlyn was even more desirous now that her hormones were raging. She made it obvious one night while Hulara lounged in the armory they had down stairs, occupied with sharpening his blades. Satlyn moved down to watch him, biting her lip gently.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

Hulara was in only a tunic, bracing his eyes against the sparks that rose from the grind wheel. He didn't know she was watching.

She moved closer, creeping up behind him and running her hands slowly over his shoulders, kissing the scales of his neck slowly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He nearly jumped. "Nine, Satlyn, be careful.." he laughed softly.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She hummed, "Forgive me, husband~ I just thought I would show you a little appreciation~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"That's alright.." he said with a smile.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She continued to pet him and kiss him, "Have I told you how handsome you are when you're working like this...~?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"A few times, yes..~" he said, exhaling softly.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Would you enjoy to hear more~?" She purred

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"I might, yes..~" he said. What was this? He had no clue, he figured she was just trying to make up for the long months ahead.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"You're so handsome and powerful when you're hard at work keeping your weapons and armor pristine~ I love how your arms flex and how your brow knits~" Her hands moved over his arms, "I love when the heat forces your tunic from your body and I can admire your plates and scales~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Oh is that so..~?" He asked. Damn it all, he could feel his plates shifting.
