Powers are... well a thing. Amazing i know that's what a lot of people thought once they woke up, had accidents or just generally got curious and began to manifest superhuman abilities. It was in a way magical, heroes began to take to the streets beating back crime to an almost stand still... Until ambition began to clutch at the hearts of those with power. Villains began to rise up to combat the heroes, the heroes got organised became defenders of the countries of the world, separate from the governments of the world and policed by each other all united under the want to make sure the world remains in a state of peace.

That was until the Villains of the world clicked and moved under the shadow of the one with the biggest ambition. A man known now as the Ruler. There was a battle that left the world scarred and even now all these years after the event the Earth still heaves from the blows dealt that day. The heroes inevitably fell, and the Ruler divided the world up amongst his followers, those that were most loyal to him form the ruling body of the world now. Those with powers, though known off are still outnumbered by the population but what they lack in numbers they make up for in power. Over the years the Ruler began to make himself into a deity like figure. Working hard that with every year that passes the memories of what was before his time grey dimmer and dimmer.

The world now under the grip of the Ruler seeks out those with abilities to bring into his fold and keep his rule as long as possible. Many rumours have begun to spread of the Ruler's feats, that he doesn't age, that he can't be killed. All of this just further stomping down on the will to rebel and rise up. However, the descendants of those heroes long ago still live. Those with a sense of justice that are just lacking in the experience to combat such a large foe. Those with the memories of how the world use to be, but this begins to ask the question what happens if they take down the Ruler? How will the world change will it be for the better or the worse. Only one way to find out and that's through the actions of these souls.

Name: Kavardra Hemwick

Age: 23

Occupation: Vagabond, Performer, Professional Liar, Hero.

Gender: Male

Appearance: Kavadra is a man that looks older than he should, he has lines around his eyes from tiredness that generally makes him seem devoid of the youth that should be pumping through him at this age. His skin is white, but stained in parts from constant exposures to dirt, though along his muscled arms are a criss cross of silver like scars that can be found all over his arms and hands. His physique is muscled and athletic rather than buff up. Just enough to make sure he can do what he needs to do, and just too little to avoid having people's eyes drawn to him. His tired eyes are sea green, often reminding people of the oceans when the sun shines on them just right upon the beaches. They go well with his flaming red hair that goes to just above his shoulders. This is probably his most distinguishing trait and makes it harder for him to blend into crowds.

Kavardra tends to dress in a once white, now grey shirt with the sleeves rolled up with a faded waistcoat and a patched trousers and coat often seemingly giving him a bit of a colourful yet jester like appearance at times. His coat has been fitted with numerous pockets but is usually used to house his thick leather bound book, that is also attached to his belt. He is very protective of this book, some rumours coming that it contains the information of the time before the ruler. His trousers tend to be pinstriped with equal amounts of patches put into them through overuse and wear and tear. The only thing that seems dusty but in the prime condition are the boots he wears, which is a miracle considering the amount he travels. In short his clothing tends to be just enough wear to blend in and just enough him, so if people are looking for him they can spot him. He would wear a tie but he claims he hasn't found one that is quite his style yet.

Power: Names

Names is a rather bizarre power, it allows Kavardra to work towards finding out the true names and names of people and objects without having to explicitly ask a person. If he knows the true name of something he can influence it to a varying degree depending upon his practice and relationship of the name. He has to verbally speak the name in order to activate his power, for example if he wished to influence a fire he'd have to speak the true name of fire in order to gain influence of it. Same for a person. If he doesn't know, or is unable to speak he cannot use his power. Also he is only human and has a limited memory span for all the names he knows.

Fun Facts: He has been publicly executed twice, and imprisoned... until he recently broke out and fled to the other side of the continent.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

It had been two years since Kavardra taken his last breath of fresh air before he was sent into the cells where he was held. The cells hadn't agreed with him, where once he had looked more lively and jolly, happy go lucky and ready to save the day. Now he looked tired, drained. The sunlight exposing the work that had been done to him in his time away from civilisation. At first it was strange getting use to it, almost as if he had been missing a step. In the few months he was allowed to be himself he had gradually picked up on the step he missed, having to cover miles upon miles of land. He had always been a trouble maker as was evident by a steady reputation the flame haired young man had began to build around himself. The world around them just seemed wrong and constrained, and he was one of those that wished for change and unlike most was willing to work towards it. Spurring people into action with impossible deeds and lies that he turned to truths... eventually.

He even knew that there was a few times that he had been quote on quote killed only to turn back up a week or so later with a smile on his face and a welcome back with his fellow comrades in the war against the Ruler. That however had changed, the last time they tried to pull a stunt it had turned south quicker than a dog snuffs up food. The deaths were high and the people captured and taken away were less but also a heavy blow. Kavardra was unsure of how many people were still willing to do what he and the crew had managed... No doubt the Ruler and his gang of leaders made an example of them.

Kavardra was one of those gifted with powers. He unlike some had been born with them and that had been his ticket to an easy life if he chose to take it. The best education, the best life one could ask for and then working under the Ruler's regime above the normal people. The sheep being guarded by the wolves... but that life... eventually grew sour. He had found out about heroes and how they opposed evil and somewhere deep in his mind the word evil connected just oh so nicely with the Ruler and so he formed a crew with his childhood friend and like minded people... Until thing well and truly fucked up.

He brushed a nervous hand through his wild flaming red hair, before clearing his throat as he came to an old statue that he was sure had once served as a memorial for someone long ago. The name had been scratched out, but the date was just barely visible. Somewhere in the early twentieth century... Nearly two hundred years ago.

Kvaradra placed his cold hands into the folds of his colourful coat as he swirled around, the many strips that made up the tails of the coat flaring out, briefly exposing the blue fabric on the inside and a variety of symbols woven into it. The park was quiet at this time, most people had rushed back to their homes, the large blocks of apartments getting taller with each decade, and those that stayed out were in the pub. The only people who would be out at this time with business would be the Noble families and their Powered people, sons of noble's, bodyguards. All the people that wouldn't want to be seen under the harsh light of day. Kavardra had grown to like the night, it made him appear more lively and hid what the cells had done to him.

"Where are you all..." he questioned, as he watched his breath rise into the cool night sky, the stars now visible clearly in the sky as over the years light pollution had cut down. It was a breathtaking sight. With a deft movement he plucked a wind up pocket watch from his waist coat and checked the time. 9:56pm. In just four minutes he would see who was left, see who he had to work with. In just four small- Oh would you look at that, three minutes now. Slipping the pocket watch back into his waist coat, he closed his colourful coat with a mixture of buttons and more secure buttons. If there was anything this coat was, it was his; his and very warm.

Name: Keely Snow
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Power: Elemental Manipulation
Keely is able to manipulate the four elements of water, fire, earth, and air. The only element that she has full control over, and can manipulate with ease is air. Even if there is any air around, this is something that she can simply create without any hassle. The other three elements on the other hand, she isn't able to just create out of thin air, nor is she able to manipulate them with as much ease. In order to use the other three elements, she needs to be able to have access to them somehow. So she always carries around a couple of lighters on her, and she typically has a few bottles of water in the backpack that she carries around. In order to use the earth element, she just needs to have some kind of contact with something that is growing from the ground; a flower, a tree branch that is still connected to the tree. Once she has this medium, then she is able to wield that element.
Fun Facts: Keely has heterochromatic eyes, and this is something that she isn't afraid to show at all. Her left eye is a beautiful amber color, while her right eye is a light gray color. When she was younger she use to hide the fact that her eyes were two different colors, finding herself ashamed, but eventually she came to love herself. This is something that made her unique. Keely is blind, although this isn't a fact that she allows anybody onto, about the only people who know are her missing parents and her childhood friend.

----
Powers have always been a thing, for as long as everybody can remember. It wasn't so common that everybody in the world had some kind of ability, but it wasn't uncommon enough where people found it strange. Some people used these powers for good, helping that that were around them. But others used it for bad, causing havoc wherever they went. Those that used it for good were known as heroes, while those that used it for bad purposes were known as villains. For each new hero that rose up, a new villain rose up, and vise versa. For the longest while, the two factions seemed to even each other out... at least until the villains decided to band together under a powerful man that the world simply knew as Ruler. Around the world heroes fell to the villains, and those that had yet to be taken down took to hiding away from Ruler and those that followed under him. As time went by this man had more or less become a god of the world, and slowly but surely the world seemed to change, and most definitely not for the better.

Time seemed to go by and Ruler never seemed to change, never seemed to age, and out of the few attempts on his life, didn't seem to die. Those that lived under his iron grip lived in fear, but there was a small amout of hope that lived within the people. There were still those with abilties in the world, that hadn't fallen under his rule, and hadn't been caught by his men. So hopefully these people would be able to take down Ruler. Although the question that many have to wonder though, is what will happen when Ruler was taken down. The world that they once knew, many had forgotten about. So taking down this man could either be a good thing or a bad thing.
---
The world had changed so much in the last number of years, and it definitely hadn't been a good thing. For the last number of years, the petite black haired female had been on the run, hiding herself from those that were seeking anybody with powers. Gifts at one point, now she only saw her abilities as a curse. If you didn't join the villains faction, then you were considered the enemy and hunted down. She didn't know what happened to those that were caught, and refused to join those that followed under Ruler.

Keely Snow was brushing some of her hair out of her face as she sat in a tree near a park, just leaning back against the trunk of the tree. That contact with the tree, she could feel the movements of all of those that were around her. A handy ability that she had taught herself while learning how to control her earth manipulate ability. If anything living creature was walking on the ground, and they were within her radius, she could feel the vibration. Granted she couldn't tell gender or anything like that, but she could tell the different between animals and humans easily enough. It was handy enough that it made it difficult to sneak up on her, unless you weren't even on the ground, even if you were trying to sneak up on her through the trees, she would feel it.
Heterochromatic eyes flickered off into the distance before she was putting a hand on the trunk of the tree, and was stepping forward, seeming to float towards the ground. Now that was a familiar vibration through the earth. That was something that she knew, something that she could never miss. Which had her heading towards it, her midnight black streaming behind her as she ran through the park. The air being her guide as she made her way towards the familiar prescence.

It had been so long since they had last meet! Last time they had been together, had been a number of years ago, back when the crew had still been together. But everything had ended up going south, and he had just disappeared on her. A number of the others had disappeared, either they had been taken or they had gone into hiding, who actually knew. There were some she knew had joined Ruler, and then there were some that had died fighting back.

Keely was one of those that had managed to get away. Probably because of some of the others. Honestly she wasn't even sure what had even happened that night. It had been one of those nights where she had been overwhelmed with everything, and her powers had kind of gone out of control. Well for the most part they had gone out of control. She had the unique ability to manipulate the elements, and the only element that she never had to worry about going out of control was air. That was her main element it seemed.

"Kavardra!" the black haired female spoke in a happy voice as she was throwing her arms around the red haired man.

There was no mistaking him, not ever. Even though she was blind, even if he changed everything about himself, she would still know him. There was a smile on her lips as she was drawing away from him, before she was tilting her head ever so slightly, hair falling into her face.

"Where did you go? You.... and so many others.... were just gone. I tr.... I tried to find you.... but I couldn't. No matter how hard I searched... I couldn't find anything." Keely spoke in a soft voice. Even pushing more into her earth ability, and trying to find him through the earth, she hadn't come close. Until today. Now he was standing right there in front of her.

Kavardra glanced around as he began to walk around the statue, tracing his hand over the metal work before he came to a stop as he heard something or someone approaching. He muttered something under his breath and suddenly the night air became as clear as the day as he peered over in the distance and made out a recognisable shape heading towards him. "Wait is that.." Whomp. He felt her arms wrap around him and gave her a wide smile and a laugh as he hugged her back. "Hello Keely." He said in a joyful tone as he held her for that little bit longer before she moved back.

The red haired man listened to her before giving a wider smile as he took a step back. "Well you see, it is a tale of daring do, heart loss and..." He hesitated, something that he didn't tend to do, to hesitate was to begin doubting yourself and to doubt yourself was to start denying who you were. Lowering his hand he cleared his throat before returning his hand to the folds of his glorious coat. "I was imprisoned Kelly, i'm glad you had not not found me, if you had i would be worried on what would happen to you if you tried to get in." Despite her being blind he couldn't help but meet her gaze as he spoke. The wind fluttered his coat a little causing the strips of fabric flaring and blew out behind him.

"But i have returned now to you and..." He looked over in the darkness not being able to make out anyone else heading this way. He frowned before muttering the name again as his vision returned to normal. "Is it just you Kelly? has there been anyone else with you?" He questioned as he cocked his head to the side. His vibrant red hair being blowed back by the breeze as well. "I hope you have not, that there are still people who avoided being taken or worse..." He trailed off. There was certainly something different about him, something that didn't entirely click with him as if a small weight had just knocked him a little over a line somewhere in his head.

Keely just had a look of sadness that crossed her features when she heard that he had been captured. That most definitely made a lot of sense as to why she hadn't been able to track him down at all. Those cells that the Ruler tossed people in, others on the outside couldn't use their abilities to trace them down at all. And even if they were able to do that, actually trying to get somebody out was nearly impossible. There were always some exceptions to the rules, but not many when it came to that. Her head was tilting ever so slightly when he was asking if she was the only one, or if there were others with her. This had her nodding her head before she spoke, "There are others with me, just not here right now. They remained behind. Only I came out tonight. Lately the others have caught the attention of Ruler and his men, I on the other hand have managed to keep on the downlow."

She did however reach up a gloved hand, gently touching his cheek before she spoke in a soft voice, "You are different from what you had been. It is strange... but... you are still you. I suppose one can't complain about that." Not like one of the others who had come back after managing to escape. They had been a mental mess for a while, and it had taken forever to get close to them. Who knew how they were doing now though, they had ended up just leaving one night, never to be seen or heard from again. Well from the others anyways. This was somebody that Keely had somewhat kept tabs on.

Something seemed to catch her attention briefly and she was looking off in a seemingly random direction before she spoke, "Come on. I should get back before the others worry. They will be happy to see that you are alright as well." Listening to the whispers on the wind, usually how people communicated with her when she was a distance away. That is all that it took, but was a small whisper and no matter where she was, she would be able to hear it. Keely was reaching over and taking his hand gently, and drawing him with her.

Kavardra felt her hand on his cheek as he gave a small smile. "That's splendid to hear, i'm sure they will be anxious to hear of my raring story of how i escaped with my life." He joked before she mentioned that he was different. So she could tell? He didn't want to openly admit it, but he did feel it. Something in him had snapped in that cell and had changed him, not physically but mentally. He didn't want to outright say that he was insane, but he was certain he was less sane than most at the moment. Not that he ever claimed to be, his clothes always spoke a different story. Eccentric was what he usually preferred to roll with.

"It is good to see you again though Kelly, truly and utterly i am above the moon to see you again." He said as she took his hand and began to walk with her. His head cocked to the side a little as the red head smiled a little. "Sensing something already are we?" he questioned as he looked around, without empowering himself with his own true name, he could just about make out the shapes in the night, it wasn't the quality he could muster. Kavardra didn't like to rely on his power, it could make him lazy and too reliant upon its boons.

Kavardra followed after her down the streets at night, he pulled up the hood of his long coat to hide his red hair for now. Whilst he was certain he hadn't been named in this place, he just had to be sure for now. As they walked down the streets a group fo guards began to walk past with a Mutant. No one knew how Mutants were made but there were only around 20 of them in the country. What people did know about them was that they seemed nearly impossible to kill and could track down people with superpowers like blood hounds. Some even claimed they had more than one power amongst them. They were cleared marked out by the tattoos around their eyes, intricate and elegant, and their footsteps were far heavier, not heavier in the sense of weight more in the sense of the impact they gave. They also appeared pale, and had flecks of metal sticking out in certain parts of the body. The more accomplished the Mutant the more intricate their tattoos and the stronger their presence was.

Kavardra shuddered a little. "I sure hope you haven't had any run in with those as of yet. We barely got away from the last one we came across." He said with a small laugh as he regaled old times. Seemingly set on trying to convince everyone he was his normal self as if he were slipping on a very elaborate mask. He trusted Kelly with his life, but he didn't want to dump his crap on her now. Not now... whispered to her just as he knew she would be able to hear. "I do have a plan though... If you are still interested in changing the world."

Keely was giving a light smile before she was continuing on through the streets, just humming softly as she walked along. "Oh I'm sure that they'll be very happy to hear whatever story you have to tell. Some of them have their own interesting stories, others not so much." she giggled after a moment in time before she just continued on her way. Although as they were walking down the street she felt the familiar vibrations from the guards, and the heavier ones of the Mutants. Now that was the one thing that she could for sure state was coming near, the vibrations they gave off through the earth, they were so much stronger than a normal humans, or even a person with super abilities. And even those two had a slight different feel to them, a very subtle feel, but she had begun to tell the difference, which had majorly helped in the long run.

"We had a run in with one of those a few weeks ago actually. We managed to get away. It would seem like they do have their own downfall. Their senses are a lot stronger than ours are.... which can be a good thing, or a bad thing." Keely was commenting after a moment in time, and this was her speaking through experience. She was down one sense herself, her sight, which resulted in her hearing being far better than the average person. And that didn't even have anything to do with superpowers either.

She was quite curious about the plan that he had but she wasn't going to question about it now. A bit too dangerous to learn about that more. Instead she was just leading him off into the wooded area, where she was drawing off the glove on her free hand with her teeth, letting it drop onto the ground. As the made their way through the wooded area, she allowed her hand to brush up against a tree, and a rather unique flower was blooming. One that only bloomed on tree trunks, in certain regions. She was gently plucking the flower before she was handing it over to him. "Hold onto it for now. We have to go through an area where there are a few Mutants roaming around. Well they are like the Mutants, far weaker and they can be killed but they are quite fast. I don't know why but these particular flowers, confuse them. I discovered it on accident." Keely commented and soon enough they were walking back into the town.

They were headed towards one of the warehouses that was a few blocks away from where they were at now. Shockingly enough, while Ruler's men outnumbered them, they had managed to keep a grasp on their hideout, and had managed to defend it from a few different attacks. "I never got to tell you.... I've got far better at controlling the other three elements. Not like last time we were together.... Where I just seemed to lose control constantly." she was commenting.

Kavardra frowned as Keely began to explain how they had encountered one and gave a slight nod as a worried expression plagued his face. As long as they had gotten away from it then that was all fine. The last thing he wanted was for them to be hunted by one of them. He let out a low sigh before he eyed the flower that he held neatly between his thumb and forefinger, taking in the petals of it as he frowned a little. The flower seemed so frail and indifferent he failed to see how it could be of any protection whatsoever. "I will just have to take your word on that fact for now it seems."

He began to walk after as they made their way back into the town though his smile grew even wider as he heard the news about her powers and placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "That is truly a wonderful thing to hear Keely. At least i don't have to worry about you creating a volcano whenever you get stroppy." he teased as he tucked the flower into his top pocket of his waist coat, making it seem almost ornamental with his attire in doing so.

"So i can rest easy back home with you and the others, and with the knowledgable fact that my eyebrows are truly safe from your flames for the time being. How did you get control? Just practice or did you have to sit and have a heart to heart with a stone?" He might sound like he was joking, but he was genuinely interested to hear how she had managed to accomplish such a feat. Even if it was just a small thing in consideration, he had known her for a long time and knew just how much this meant to her.

Keely was just giving a small giggle before she spoke, "Have some faith in me." There was a slight look on her features, although the emotion was a bit difficult to detect. It was a mixture of almost sad, perhaps annoyed. Maybe because she felt like people didn't have much faith in her, well when it came to certain things. This is one of those things that many people were a bit quizzical about, and weren't sure if they believed her or not. After a moment she was just shaking that thought away before she was speaking, "I trained and practiced. Some of the others got annoyed with me now and again, since I would basically practice to the brink of exhaustion. But... I wanted to be able to control them more than what I could. Now.... the earth.... I can feel the vibrations through the earth, when people are walking around. I cannot tell a specific gender, but I can at least tell the different between Mutants, normal humans, and gifted humans. And yes there is a difference between normal and gifted. A very small one, but it is here."

Karadra could have lectured her about the problems of pushing herself to exhaustion and how bad that can be... But she seemed as though she wished to get better, and if this was her way of being able to do it and it got results; he wasn't going to say anything about it. He nodded his head a little before perking an eyebrow as she mentioned that there was a difference between normal people and those with powers. "Now that is interesting and useful to know. Still it sounds like you've made leaps and bounds so i am happy for you." He told her with a smile before he cleared his throat as he felt the reassuring pressure of his thick book pressed against his side. "What about fire and water?" he asked her with a small smile as he still occasionally glanced around, despite having a living sonar next to him. It was just a habit he had developed when travelling and it always couldn't help to be careful.

Keely was giving a faint smile before she was speaking, "Water I have learned to use to heal injuries. Smaller injuries, nothing life threatening. As long as I have water on me." With that she was giving a light shrug before she was commenting that she hadn't really learned anything special with fire. She wasn't randomly setting things on fire like she had in the past. That hadn't been fun at all. Soon enough they were coming upon the warehouse and she was skipping up to the door, tapping on it. This had somebody else asking what the password was, and she was letting them know, before they were being let in. "Kavardra…." somebody breathed when they spotted him. An old friend that had run with the old crew, and had managed to get away.

Kavardra chuckled a little as he remembered when they were younger and wished to learn more about their powers before they even knew what they could do. "Hmph, well i am pleased to hear that there is very little chance of my glorious coat being singed by your rather effective flames." He mused and then patted his hair, "My hair is red enough as it was." He mused before taking in a deep breath as he looked over the warehouse, the flower still resting in his coat pocket. He began following after the interactions had been had before he heard his name and turned his head.

His head twitched slightly as he heard his name before his sea green eyes focussed on who was speaking. Landrim. He would recognise that face anywhere, and that dark hair. "Ah Landrim it's been a while." He said with a cocky smile on his face only to be met with the narrowing eyes of his friend. Or was it a former friend?

Landrim let out a sigh before he glanced at Keely, his arms folding over one another. "I thought Kavardra was supposed to be dead." He explained to Keely before looking back at the red haired man as if not believing what he was seeing at all. As extravagant as always.

Keely was just looking towards his general direction after a moment in time before she was turning her attention towards the new voice. Oh she knew that voice. Landrim. One of the old people from the crew. Although she wasn't sure how she had run into him again. It had been chance she figured, or good luck. Who actually knew, it wasn't overly important she figured. She did however listen as Landrim commented that he thought Kavardra had been dead. "And a lot of people had thought you had been dead as well, until you just showed up out of the blue. A lot of us from the old crew... were said to have been killed." Keely was pointing out after a moment in time before she was strolling away from the guys, and kneeling down as a couple of animals seemed to come out of nowhere. Strays that they had taken into their little family.

"Besides.... we already know the Mutants can't take the form of another. I'm not worried about somebody pretending to be him. It is more difficult to be somebody that you are not, than one knows." Keely was musing before she was just tilting her head back a bit, her hair falling over her shoulders. "After all.... That is how I found you. Pretending to be one of Ruler's minions, or whatever the hell you wanna consider them." she commented before she was scratching one of the animals behind the ears.

Besides.... she knew it was him. There was no denying it. He was somebody that she had grown up with.... she had to know him better than pretty much everybody else there.

Landrim let out a sigh as she mentioned how he was found before he just looked to the side. "Well how else was i suppose to give a low profile? It's not like they actively search their own units." He said before he ran a hand through his dark hair as he let out a long sigh. "It was just a safe place but in the end there's no hiding from you it seems." He still couldn't believe how well she could track down people, in some ways it was scary that she could just find people so easily. It was kind of creepy as well he hated to be someone that had hurt her and she tried to find them.

Kavardra gave a smile as he placed his hands lightly in his pockets, "Well of course if i were a mutant i don't think i would have gone to meet you, i think i would have just tried to find you... and i doubt a mutant can do what i d. What you do, or what any of us can do... Just yet." he said as he peered down at the ground, Mutants were definitely creepy things but they seemed to have a few flaws in how they were made...Unless they were missing something, but he doubted it. "It is good to see that there are a few of you around here though." He added as he looked around the Warehouse, it certainly seemed like a nice place they had set up. It was almost irritating that he had missed out on so much of this. "I am definitely glad to be back."

Keely was just giving a small giggle before she was speaking, "You know that I have my limitations. If one isn't touching earth of some sort, I can't detect them. And if they are out of my range, then that detection is useless." Granted her range was upwards of a mile, but still that didn't seem like a whole lot. Yet again the moment somebody stepped within that radius she did happen to know. She brushed some of her hair out of her face before she was getting to her feet. She was grinning before she spoke, "If you were a Mutant you had totally let your guard down when I came up and hugged you." There was a thoughtful look on her features for a moment in time although she was inquiring, "I wonder how that would turn out. Going up and randomly hugging a mutant." "Don't you even think about it. I know that scheming look of yours." another voice came and an elderly woman came out of nowhere, and was actually tapping Keely on the head with her cane, which had the younger female almost pouting.

"Welcome to our little family. I'm the one that pretty much everybody here calls Mother." the elderly woman spoke after a moment in time. In truth the warehouse was something that her family owned, and she was the one who had more or less invited everybody there, turning it into a safe haven for those that needed the protection. And for being a woman in her late 60s, she was still mildly terrifying. Especially when she got into scolding a person. "You must be Kavardra. These two have spoken highly of you." the woman spoke before she was inclining her head in greeting before she was turning and heading off.

Keely listened to the older woman's vibrations as she left before she was commenting, "I think she is slightly annoyed." She was folding her arms behind her head, a slight grin on her lips. After that she was telling the two guys to behave and was commenting that Landrim should show Kavardra around the warehouse. She was going to go and check on the garden that they had up on the rooftop.

Kavardra smiled slightly before he saw the older woman approaching. He listened politely before he placed a hand across his chest and bowed oh so elegantly as a gentleman would before he brought himself up to a tall posture. "I hope i have been spoken in a positive way. Not highly in a, oh gosh i sure didn't like that guy." He mused as he gave a smile at Keely and Landrim before his attention turned back to the woman. "I thank you deeply for your hospitality, it cannot be easy to do such a thing as you are doing." He told her as he slipped his hand neatly back into his pocket, feeling the reassuring pressure of his heavy book pressing into his ribs again. His years of work all contained between two thick slabs of leather.

"Yes a tour if you will! and keely i think she is more panicked than normal. It is not easy to hold a place such as this as a secret." He bowed his head to her before he followed Landrim for the tour of the place, where the bunks were, where to get showered. Food everything seemed to be within an easy enough space to get to. Kavardra listened and once he could he slowly took his coat off exposing the worn shirt and waistcoat underneath and the thick book bound in a holster type thing as he claimed a bed. "I think i can take it from here." He told his friend before he began to explore. It wouldn't take him long before he found hi sway climbing up to the roof, and he poked his head to see the garden around. "Oh isn't this a wonderful spot." He added as he gracefully pulled himself up, brushing his red hair from his face in the process.

Keely was up on the rooftop, the gloves that she typically wore sitting towards the entrance to the garden, next to the door, along with her long sleeve shirt. She had been wearing a spaghetti strap on under the sweater, and was currently kneeling next to what appeared to be an empty patch of dirt. More like a spot where they had just recently planned some seeds, and right now she was working on coaxing them to grow. No she had no idea what had been planted there, but she was sure that she was going to find out soon enough. Her attention did turn towards the general direction of Kavardra after hearing a noise. There was a faint smile on her lips before she spoke, after hearing his comment, "It is a very relaxing area to come to."

"It seems it." He said as he crossed the distance towards her with little more than a few strides before he crouched down next to her as she seemed to be trying to coax out something in the dirt. He tilted his fiery head before he cleared his throat as he ran through his excellent memory for the correct name. He uttered something that made little sense to anyone bar him, Keely would certainly be aware that this was a part of his power. The power of names. "Grow." he said afterwards and there was a moment.

There was a small moment before little bits of green began to move out of the dirt, they were small, but strong by no means were they going to grow without aid. It was a start and they should be strong in no time. "So... is this what you and everyone else have been doing for the time being whilst i have been away?" He asked her in a quiet tone, looking over the other plants with a careful eye.

Keely was giving a faint chuckle as she listened to his words, and she could feel the seed begin to sprout. But even then, it would take a bit of coaxing, and some help. But that didn't bother her at all, that was something that she could continue to help with. "This is what I have been doing. It isn't often that I'll actually leave the warehouse. Today was an exception." she was commenting after a brief moment in time, before she was just brushing some of her hair out of her face. She was tilting her head a bit before she spoke, "I don't know what the others do. But this is what I usually do. That and I act as look out. The benefits of being strongest with air."

Kavardra nodded to her as he sat near his friend, feeling comfort in her presence before he let out a sigh as he ran his hand through his orange hair. "Keely." He began as he looked towards her, once again he felt the scars burning on his arm. He knew that it wasn't something that actually hurt, the memory was just fresh and raw, as raw as could be. "I plan on killing the Ruler." He told her bluntly, not sugar coating his plan in the slightest.

Keely was just glancing in his general direction when she heard his plan. This had her shaking her head a bit before she spoke in a soft voice "You are crazy.... " Many had tried to kill Ruler, but everybody had pretty much failed. He was immortal after all, or those were the rumors. Nobody every found out the aftermath of their attempt if they did manage to land a blow. A faint sigh fell from her lips before she was rising to her feet, and just tiling her head slightly. "Well you aren't doing it alone." She commented. Her way of stating that she was going to be helping.

"Yes i think i have indeed become crazy whilst i was away." He told her with a small chuckle. "But do not fear my dear friend and accomplice Keely for i.. whilst in my solitude have i might have been able to think of a plan." He told her before he placed his hands together as he looked her over for a brief moment. "See what is the one thing that we know of the Ruler, we hardly ever see him. However that just doesn't cross my mind as correct, if he rules the world from where he is he must have a way to explore around this place. Make sure everyone is falling into line. In fact people even seemed surprised when he turned up for a check on the prison about... a year ago."

Keely just listened to what he had to say about how nobody has seen Ruler, but he thought that was incorrect. Yeah she figured that it was incorrect as well, but there was no way to prove it. A thoughtful look crossed her features before she spoke, "But trying to actually get close enough to him is going to be difficult." With that she was commenting that she was very curious about this plan of his, and how successful it was even going to be in the end. Yet again there were plenty of people within that warehouse that would be willing to help out with the plan. Regardless of if they perished in the end or not, as long as Ruler fell. Or was at least shown that perhaps his ways weren't the correct ways.

Kavardra nodded his head as he ran his hand over his face. "Indeed, getting close to him is going to be the bigger problem here. Since well, it's all well and good if we find him, put a face to him. But if we get to the point where he is too out of reach, we might as well just put the whole thing on hold and go about normal lives and leave it there." He muttered as he ran a hand over the scars on his arms before he took in a deep breath. "As for how or when to do this, that has eluded me... so i am open to suggestions on this impossible task."

Keely just gave a shake of her head before she spoke, "A lot easier said than done. I don't think we are going to be able to track him that easier." She could probably use that handy little ability to try and track him through the earth, but she wasn't even sure where to start looking. She wasn't even sure what to even look for. A breath escaped her lips before she was just thinking about what they could do. Perhaps that that point in time there was nothing that they could do. They would just have to wait it out. Eventually Ruler would come out. "Perhaps we could find a way to lure him or her out." Keely was commenting after a moment in time. How she wasn't quite sure, but she was certain that they could figure out a way to do that. The other issue was they honestly didn't even know who they were looking for. Were they looking for a male? A female? Young? Old? There was so much information that they didn't have about the Ruler, information that would be crucial to figuring everything out.

Kavardra raised his head to look at her before he nodded slowly, "That there is certainly something that would be far easier to do. Luring them here." He said with a small smile as he placed his finger tips together before nodding slowly. "I like that, that is certainly doable and it means we can make sure that we could lure him... sorry or her. Here when we want them to be here, and not a moment before." He added, the last thing they wanted was for this Ruler to turn up when they were completely unaware or unprepared. "We just have to make sure that by then this place is ours and not under anyone else's control." He pointed out before he scratch the back of his fiery red head. "So not much to ask." He joked.
