It was raining... It made him feel almost... Happy.

The dark being sat on his heels atop a three-story building, a bolt of lightning cracked in the sky, lighting up his silhouette briefly before he was gone. He walked easily along the edge of the building, nimble dark shoed feet keeping him perfectly balanced. His black coat flowed in the wind, the split coat tail at the end flapping wildly in the wet torrent. This was his city... He ran a hand through his long wet black hair, smiling deviously, pale white skin almost matching his teeth. Oh how he loved the city, here where it rained so often. Where no one was safe, even during the day...

The nameless one hopped across an alley way, his jumping form only appearing briefly from below before landing on the other side. He walked along the popular castle district, the bustling teen-infested part of the city. Busty ladies could be seen along every corner. He could have approached any one of them. But he craved a special quarry tonight. One that would be... Fun to toy with. Do with what he pleased, inflict pain upon, molest, fuck... Kill, even. If they upset him enough. Fortunately, he was of another world, and was above impatience. Of course.

He stepped lightly along the edge of the second building, doing a slight happy skip as he turned, facing down towards the street. Bright neon lights were in higher volume here, he would find her here. He knew. He raised a hand, examining the sharp, pale nails of his hand.

His figure flickered into darkness briefly. Uncontrollable product of his powers.

Bustling underneath the tall tops of the buildings, hundreds of people seemed to be diving into stores, restaurants, and businesses. After a while, Helena was one of the few left on the side walk. Her long dark hair was partially damp as rain got beneath the hood of her coat. Shoving her hands into the pockets of her peacoat, she tried to hide her face from the rain. A damp white scarf covered part of her face, which at this point, wasn't doing much to keep her warm.

The blue-eyed beauty was almost drenched now. Her jeans had gotten a shade darker as rain continued to hit them, and her high boots splashed in the water. She was trying to get home to her apartment. Eighteen, Helena was fresh out of high school. Equipped with a job, college courses, and a new home, she was a little more than train wrecked. Even as she walked in the rain, all her mind could think of was 'Getting that one paper done', or 'What did I do wrong today?', and 'I need to clean!'.

To say at least, she was distracted. And already she had ran into two people, and one yellow taxi. Holding her purse tightly to her side, she ducked into a partially covered alley, taking an old shortcut to her side of town.

He had found one beauty... Though it was not Helena. She walked easily amongst her friends, laughing and talking about that one cute boy she had met earlier in the club... He heard her, even all the way up here. She walked with her three other girlfriends, bare legs showing out of the raincoat she kept wrapped about her. Suddenly, the back of her high heel cracked, her foot falling hard to the pavement as result. "Dammit. You guys, hang on..."

They kept walking, laughing amongst themselves, leaving his prey alone. She seemed fixated on her broken footwear then anything else. Not a bad quarry... Easy pickings. At one second, he was atop the roof, the next, dissapeared in a puff of curling shadow... Give it another moment and he was behind her. He emulated the man's voice she had met earlier, "Heh. Broke your shoe huh?" It was perfect.

She laughed to herself, slightly distressed, "Yeah they're cheap--." She didn't have time to finish the sentence, he had pulled her into the other side of the alley way that Helena walked. His mouth came upon hers in a viscious kiss, biting onto her lower lip hard. "Mmm..." She reacted after a momentary gasp of surprise, a strong hand came down beneath her bare leg, raising it up so that it rested on his side. Pushing her hard against the wet brick of the building. The girl groaned some more, feeling up the predator's long... Black hair.

Wait, long? Didn't that dude have short hair?

She gasped, eyes widening to spy upon cold white skin, his eyes were open as well; red, viscious and raptor-like looking back into hers as their lips locked. She screamed, getting away from the kiss as best she could.
"You and I... Gonna have a little fun. Slut." His voice turned to a sinister snake-like pitch, no longer the gruff voice of that young man she thought she had been making out with.

"Oh god..." She breathed, "Someone help!" She cried. He had gotten her other leg up, so that they both rested on his sides, his body went up and down hers, making her hot... More distressed.

As Helena walked down the alley, she barely even heard the commotion outside the narrow passageway. In fact, she had stopped to check her phone, and was now standing halfway down the path. Looking through her messages, her fingers quickly moved to type something back to her mother, and then slid the phone into her back pocket. With a sigh, she tilted her head up a bit to look at the sky. Still dark. Still terribly gloomy.

Just then though, she heard a girl make an awkward, strangely sexual noise. Turning her head back, she got a disgusted look on her face. "Why can't people do things in private?" She snarled to herself, and then raised a brow. Watching for a moment, she flicked her hair back under her hood, and restarted on her journey. But she only got a few feet before she heard the mysterious victim crying for help. Rolling her eyes for a moment, Helena heard another plea, and she twisted her head.

Nothing bad seemed to be going on... Still, she was getting her degree in behavioral science! She should know things weren't always as they seemed. Turning full around she walked fairly quickly towards the couple, her hand going to her phone. "What is going on?" She cried, before jogging the last few steps to where they both stood against the wall.

The girl look terrified, but the man seemed to have no emotion at all. Sociopath? Grabbing for her phone, she had 911 on the dial, ready to press the green button. "I'm not afraid to call authorities. You had best get off of her and scram." With an awkward glare, she held back any fear that was in her soul. She had to be strong.

He had been working hungrily away at her neck as she squirmed beneath him. When an intruder made her way to them. He was so sure he or she would have kept to their own business... But no. His hand came from his victim's rear to swiftly come into contact with the girl's cell phone. Slapping it out of her grip. "Please... Don't provoke me..." He said as he chewed at her neck, making her moan, her throat reverberated between his teeth. He continued to push into her, deciding to ignore the girl. He had not gotten a look at her, focused on his current target. If things were to go South he would be gone before they knew it.

Helena honestly didn't know what to do when her phone was slapped from her hand. Making a defeated gesture, she grabbed for her phone, and shoved it into her pocket. But while coming up, she wrapped one arm around the man's stomach, and let the other head straight for his crotch, yanking roughly at whatever was concealed there. It was sure to be the death of her, that move. But she could just let him hurt that girl! But Helena was far from strong, and was quite more soft than muscular - which was of course what her mother had taught her to be.

"Let her go!" She whined, before letting go of the man, and darting back against one of the walls. She didn't want to run away, but she didn't want to be within striking distance. Slowly backing up, she hoped for the victim to run. To get out of danger, even if it meant she was to be hurt.

[[xD Alright.

Btw, can we get a picture posted up for some easier inspiration? would help a lot.]]

The mysterious man bent over as the intruder assaulted him. He fell to his knees, "Gragh..." The girl took a few seconds to find her barings, now let down to the ground. She quickly stood up, hobbling on one high heel, she turned the corner, the sound of her shoes getting farther and farther away...
The man was down on the ground, feigning the pain she thought he was experiencing... As soon as she made a movement. That Damn bitch...

He seemed to glide towards her in one fell movement, his teeth bared. He took her by the wrists and pushed her hard against the other side of the alley way. "Insolent little bitch. You're so ugly you--." He stopped short, his face tilting upwards but his eyes fixed upon her in a calculating, barely restrained look. Those piercing blue eyes, so full of fear... This was the one, perhaps. Taking both her wrists in one powerful hand, he took his free hand to her scarf, taking the top of the damp scarf with sharp nailed fingers. They grazed the edge of her lips in a light touch. Magnificent she was...

Lightning flashed above in the dark sky, followed by a booming thunder. "You're in for more then you gambled. My love." He leaned forward, as if to kiss her, and slowly meshed into darkness before her eyes, before their lips touched, leaving behind twirling pieces of dark energy, dancing before her pretty, blue, eyes... And he was gone.

He stood above on the rooftop, hands shoved deep into his pockets. She would be his quarry, she was his fascination, for now. This was how this worked... There had been only one before.

He watched her from above, dark red eyes glowering.

[[Do you mean our eleven picture or different pictures?]]

Helena stared in half terror and half amazement as the man fell to the ground. Never had she been able to do such a thing. Mind wise, Helena was very strong, very fit. But in that she had physically decided to not train, and therefore, was normally unable to protect herself. The fact she had thought so quickly pleasingly surprised her. Still, when the man began to go for her, every bit of joy drained from her face, leaving her white as a ghost. She bit into her lip until she was sure blood was pulsing out. But she did not move.

"I-I-I-I..." She tried to get something out, but before she could the man had disappeared. His words though still echoed in her mind. 'My love'. Was it terrible that those two words made her shake in ways other than terror? It reminded her of all the fairytales she mother had told her as a child. The prince always called the princess 'My love'. But why was she thinking of such things?

Snapping out of it, she grabbed her phone, ready to call the authorities.... But she didn't. Slowly the phone dropped into her pocket. And with flushed cheeks, she began to the track home to her apartment.

((Our eleven picture.))

He walked with a frenzied pace as the startled girl continued on her way along the rooftop, hands shoved deep into his coat pockets. She was a fine specimen, he had only gotten a look at her face, her body a mystery to her beneath that yellow coat. He would have to get to know her better as she continued on... He had so much time on his hands... Ahead of him.

It wouldn't have mattered if she had called the cops, he had dealt with them before, their stupid sirens the loud precursor to his flight. They never stood a chance at capturing him. His coat flapped hard behind him wildly again at the altitude, the storm still in full swing. His long hair remained heavy and weighted around his shoulder as he walked briskly, bloody red eyes fixed upon her from above. He wanted that coat off...

Oh how he wanted it off... So was how he worked, it all started with admiration...

[[Uhm... Do you wanna just add it to your first post?]]

After the incident Helena was most definitely shaky. As she walked, her entire body shivered, and it wasn't because of the cold rain. She was scared, every turn she made frightened her. What if he was there? What if someone else was there? Eventually though, she was able to contain herself enough to jog the rest of the way home. As she waited outside the apartments, the guards verified who she was, and opened the doors.

Walking in she pulled off her hood, and headed towards the elevator. Walking in she pushed button '5' and watched the doors clothes. Bringing out her phone yet again, her heart was racing. Elevators had never been one of her likings, and now, she was paranoid. Running out of the elevator as it opened, she headed straight down the hall, and into apartment '543'.

The hallway was tight and carpeted, meant to offer the best amount of space for the actual apartments. It was a long straight walk from the elevator to her apartment at the end of the hall...

He had followed her the whole way, and was now ascending the stairs. He reached the 5th floor and slowly pushed open the door to the hallway just as she was reaching for her keys. He stood for a moment at the far end, watching her, letting her know of his presence at the corner of her eye.

And began to walk... Slowly at first, ominously. Then turned into an intimidating strut. He approached her at a frightening walking pace. A thin smile was on his face, deep red eyes focused upon her as he closed in on her. Halfway down the hall now...

  • Once Helena had entered her apartment, she locked the door behind her. Crushing into the door, she caught her breath for a moment, hand on her heart. "Christ..." She whispered under her breath. After a moment, a rather large gray cat waddled into the room, staring at her peculiarly. The brunette caught sight of Oliver, the older cat, and grinned. Perhaps she was just paranoid. That man wouldn't follow her here!

"Hello Oliver." She said to the cat, finally moving off the door. Setting her purse on the counter top, she grabbed a can of soda from the refrigerator. Another cat, this one much leaner, and black, was sitting atop the microwave, watching her. "Emma, get down from there." The cat meowed happily, and Helena found herself not worrying much anymore. Her doors were locked and bolted, windows shut, things would be fine.

"I suppose I'll get you guys some food." Grabbing a handful of cat food from a box, she poured it into the bowl on the ground, and took a sip of her drink. No, no one would be getting into her apartment. She just needed to relax.[/list:u]

He came to the door as she shut it, she hadn't seen him. All the more suspense... He continued to smile deviously, stepping back from the door and putting his back against the opposite wall, he looked at the numbers, "543." He continued to watch them as he walked towards it, his body coalescing into shadow. With a soft sound he dissapeared just before the door and appeared on the other side. He was greeted with a hiss, from a cat. Lovely. He frowned boredly at the source of the sound, from the kitchen. Out of sight.

He looked to his right to the coat hanger, removing his black coat he placed it there. He would make himself at home... For now. He was wearing a tight black vest and grey shirt beneath it. He coalesced once again into shadow, leaving behind black curls of magic as the cat trotted forth from the kitchen to find no intruders.

He reappeared in the bathroom, clicking the light on, he looked himself in the mirror. Such a handsome reflection... He hummed a light tune, that she might hear...

  • After grabbing herself a slice of bread, Helena heard Emma hissing from the other side of the room. "What has gotten into you silly kitty?" She asked, stroking the cats fur. Another growl came, but her owner merely shook her head. Oliver was far to lazy to care for what was going on. All the energy he had was focused on eating right now. Eating, then sleeping, maybe some waddling...

Eating her small snack, Helena set down her drink and walked out of the kitchen. Taking off her peacoat and scarf, she hung them on a set of hooks attached to the wall. Slipping off her boots she set them on the tile, and then waltzed her way into her bedroom. Beside the room was a bathroom, and it was an understatement to say the walls were thin. Helena would of had to be deaf not to hear the humming.

Her hair stood on end, and she immediately dropped her sweater that had been in her hands. She looked like a deer in the headlights as she turned around. Cautiously, she walked towards her bedroom door. She needed to know what was going on, but she was almost too scared to find out. Still, she mustered up all her courage, and opened her bedroom door. Rushing to the bathroom, the humming got louder. And then, as her heart seemed to stop, she knocked on the door.[/list:u]

"Please, come in." The voice came from behind her. The humming before her still went, echoing inside her bathroom. He pushed her hard from behind, twisting her about beneath his grip. One arm was on the wall beside her head, the other about her side, gripping her tightly. He smiled more widely now, this was what he wanted. She had her back against the wall, trapped beneath him.

"Hello my nosy friend..." He was dreadfully close, pale face inches away from hers. He studied her, felt her. His body hovering before hers. "You scare so easily..." He said, studying her obvious reaction. "And yet you were so courageous as to help a girl in need. I like that."

  • Helena did in fact scream when she heard the man's voice. She immediately tried to turn around, but found herself being forced to awkwardly turned the other direction. Still, she was facing him again. And yes, it was the man from before. She gasped as he leaned closer towards her. "How did you get in here?!" She demanded, trying to squirm out of his grip. But once again, her strength against his was nothing.

Emma popped up from behind the wall, and hissed at the man once again. Even Oliver left his food to see what was going on. The plump kitten looked at the man, and growled inside her throat. But how was a cat to protect her? "Let me go!" Helena whined. She should know that they never let go. Hadn't she seen the movies, read the books? The bad guy never lets go when you ask.[/list:u]

The bad guy never did let go... This fact was true. Though he knew he mustn't let the fun go to waste so quickly.

He ignored the protective felines, instead deciding to focus on Helena before him. He was pressed up close to her, forcing her back to the wall. His face came close, a thin grin on his face, a hand about her side, gripping her painfully with unnaturally strong fingers. He was so close she would have had to look the other way.

"Why... You left the door open, you were expecting me, weren't you?" His face came only closer, keen red eyes studying hers so full of fear. His breath came cold upon her fair skin. She didn't take kindly to visitors, it seemed. None of the girls did, was almost a shame. Then again...

It made it a lot more fun when they broke beneath him.

Helena let out a painful squeak as he held her against the wall. Her waist was already beet red from the grip he had on her. She hissed through her teeth, and then turned her head to the other side, so she would not see him. "I never left the door open!" She retorted, and then stamped her foot a bit.

The teenager wanted to cry. Tears were welled up in her eyes, but they did not fall past her eyelids. She rocked her body back and forth a bit, as if trying to loosen his grip. "I told you to leave me alone!" She proclaimed, and then put her hand on his, trying to pull it off of her side. But it was as if she was trying to pull apart a statue. He was far too strong for her.

"I never did anything to you! Why are you here? Why not after some other girl - some pretty girl?"

He frowned sympathetically for her, tilting his head as he looked at her from slightly farther now. Though his hand still held her by the side... "Another... Pretty girl?" His hand on the wall crept down from it's perch to the side of her head, feeling through her hair delicately. It came softly to her teary eye, taking a tear and soaking it up. He raised it to his mouth, tasting it, he frowned a second more before smiling deviously.

"I chose you." He waited a moment, looking at her mouth, breathing baitedly and with panic. He took the bottom of her chin harshly. "I chose you, don't you see?! You came to me, and I chose you. That's how it works." He came to her mouth in a harsh kiss, holding her chin with his hand.

His teeth bit down softly at her lip. Softly, at first... Kissing, and biting...

Helena winced as the man came closer to her. As his finger brushed against her, she shivered a bit, and tried to push herself harder against the wall. With her eyes tightly closed, she did not look at him. Soft whimpering noises came from her, as if she was an animal dying. Suddenly though, he yelled, and she twisted her head towards him, eyes open. "No!" She screamed, but his mouth was already on hers.

For a moment she was in shock. She wasn't sure whether his lips were burning hers, or if it was just her cheeks - bright with embarrassment. Either way the small area she was in soon became very hot, and she found herself trying to push him back. Eventually she got a hold of herself, and she pried his lips off her own. "Let-go-of-me!" She squealed, and then bashed her fists at his chest.

"I just want to be alone!"

"You want to be alone? Pah!"

Unexpectedly he backed off from her, running his wrist across his mouth, feeling the taste of the girl's lips upon his. Lovelier then any other's he had experienced. "Then we will make a trade, if you want to be alone so badly." He shuffled backwards slightly, falling upon her bed with a bounce. He now looked up to her, supporting his body with his outstretched hands behind him. "You tell me your name." And...

His body seemed to shift unnaturally, his dark powers warming up. He held his hand up to her imploring, smiling with a calm demeanor. "I will leave you alone..." Black spirals fell about him and onto Helena's bed. Dissappearing after a few seconds.

For now. He would say it as he left, she would feel so vulnerable. Wanting more...? He wondered.

Helena let out a long breath after he had backed off, as if he had been choking her. She watched him for a moment, and then took a step forward, now able to feel her legs. "Helena." She said quietly. Crossing her arms under her chest, her eyes glared right into his eyes. But then, something happened. It seemed as if everything around him was turning black, like smoke or a vortex.

She gulped inwardly, scared something unfortunate would happen to her. Letting out a breath as he disappeared, a hand went to her heart. Had that even been real? "What the..." She mumbled to herself. Rushing to the vanity mirror in her room, she looked at her face. Pale. Her eyes were not red with signs of drug use... She was fine. Putting her hand to her forehead, she had no temperature. Was she insane?! "That can't be real!" She yelled, and then turned around to find her kittens sniffing at where the man had been. "No one disappears like that..."

Silly girl. He sensed her panic and disbelief as she saw him fall through her bed and into nothingness. he reappeared at the front door, taking his coat, he dissappeared again...

The rain had slowed to a drizzle now, he appeared outside on the other side of the street at the edge of the curb. He looked up to the 5th floor where her apartment was.
"Helena. Oh beautiful Helena." He reached out upwards to the window, engulfing the lit balcony window in between his fingers. "I will let you relax for now... But soon you will be mine." he stared longingly at the light, smiling suddenly at it. He would have to be close by...

He wheeled about, stuffing his hands into his pockets, he went up the stoop to the apartment across the street from hers, bumping shoudlers hard with a man in a business suit. "Hey!"
The stalker kept walking... Pushing the door open and breaking the lock in the process...

Six floors up, he knocked on a door. Another business man answered the door, a cigar in between his fat lips. He was wearing a towel around his waist.
"What do you want? Huh? What's that coming out of your hand? W-wait!"
The hooker he had been banging laid in the circular bed behind him as he fell screaming, "Huh? W-who are you? No! STOP--."

A minute later he stepped over the dead naked body of the buxom blond, looking out the window with his arms crossed behind him. One floor down... Helena lived.

It seemed to be hours before Helena was able to calm herself down enough to eat something and lay down. Exhausted and spent, she took her animals into her arms, and laid on her bed comfortably. She heard screams upstairs, but this was not out of the ordinary. On the contrary, many a time had she heard yelling and screaming above and below her. That was how this city was. People weren't quiet.

And so, she thought nothing of it. Clicking out the lights she curled under the covers, the room now pitch black besides the blue LED lights of her clock. 10:04. It seemed much later. Then again, she had had quite a day. Rolling over a few times, she finally got comfortable, and closed her eyes tightly. With cats curled at her feet, her mind drifted off into sleep.

[[Clarification: He set up camp across the street from her. So he is watching her. ;P No need to edit, however perhaps I wasn't clear.]]

Morning came later. The nameless stalker had watched the clock as it turned from 10PM to 5AM. The heart-shaped clock's second hand ticked over the twelve... And he was gone.

He reappeared in Helena's kitchen. Working in the twilight, he worked at making breakfast within her kitchen, being careful to not make any noise... How he fancied the idea of that creepy feeling she would feel... At breakfast in bed. And yet, she would feel a strange comfort at the gesture. And she would wonder... Oh if only he could read her mind.

He soon appeared in her bedroom, a tray with stands in his hands. He placed it over her legs beneath the covers, eying her pets carefully. Hot sausage and eggs sat before her. He eyed her face, half-buried in the pillows, dark sparks fell around him, triggered by emotional arousal. Oh lovely Helena.

He leaned down, his body turning darker and darker as he came in to kiss her cheek. The ends of his cold lips graced her warm skin before he dissapeared, back to his new dwelling.
