She giggled and ate her potato happily, "I hope I cooked it right.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He looked up with a mouthful and swallowed it all. "Apologies for my lack of manners, this is the best meal I've had in a very long time.." He said.

She smiled more, "I'm very glad for that. I don't cook very often, unless I'm feeding the less fortunate.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He smiled and continued eating. He paused to pour the both of them a glass of wine, and tipped his glass to hers.

She smiled and tapped it gently before taking a sip, immediately making a face of distaste, "Oh Lord..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He laughed a bit. "Not a fan?" he asked.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Not really.." She laughed, "I tried, at least.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He smiled and drank the majority of the wine throughout dinner.

She made herself some water and continued to enjoy being with him, "So...please forgive me if this is rude, you can refuse to answer if you don't want to, but..." She frowned softly, "what happened to your wife...?"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He made a noise. "She left some time ago.. Business wasn't doing so well, so she upped stakes and left.." He said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"I'm so sorry..." She muttered, "to have such a sacred bond ruined so harshly, it's heartbreaking..."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He shrugged a bit. "Business is doing well, and she doesn't get a cent of what I earned.." He said, "I think I came out on top..~" He said with a smile.

She smiled softly, "You have me, too...we never would become a couple if your wife were still here.."

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Mhmm, I was just about to say that~" He said

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She blushed and giggled, "I suppose I can read minds now~"

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He laughed a bit and soon finished his plate.

After dinner, she washed everything up and they enjoyed being together by the fire.

He smiled and relaxed with her, sighing contently.

"I hope you don't mind that I borrowed your shirt.." She said softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"No, not at all..!" He said. "It looks good on you.." He said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

She blushed, "Does it...?" She asked softly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

"Aye, I believe it does.." He said.

 

[PoisonousIvee]

"Do you...prefer it off me...?" She asked shyly.

 

[Mr.Aznable]

He sipped his wine and stopped to look at her. "I might prefer a button or two undone..~" he said.

She blushed and opened two top buttons, pulling the gap open slightly and looking up to him for acceptance.
