Armande thought for a few moments. "Well. I haven't been on one in a while." He admitted, taking his napkin and following suit. He took his glass of water and sipped it gently before he turned to the other. "Normally, I like to start with dinner since no one really wants to be hungry on a date. Nothing heavy though. Don't want to risk something heavy on a butterfly stomach. Then I like to go for a drive. Bring some desserts that can stand to travel. Go through the back roads to the hill top that looks over the vineyards near where my home is." He sighed softly, turning to look at the other. "Though, I do alter depending on the person. You? I would just take to a movie so that you can have a cliched date since you're royalty and have seen more than most people.'

"You think that I haven't been taken to dinner and a movie on a date?" he asked, sitting back in his seat a bit after having finished the first course. Serik draped his right leg over his left and rested his hands in his lap while leaning his head close to Armande's. "The most ridiculous date was when I was thirteen. The girl's father was some failing businessman who thought that we would fall in teenage love and get married. You can see why his businesses were failing, yes?" The blond chuckled at that. "He must have been close to dead broke to pull a stunt like this, but regardless he sent his daughter in a private jet-by herself-to pick me up and take me to Paris. He figured that I was a prince and I had traveled through most of the world by the time I was eight, and so going alone with another thirteen year old to Paris was just the same. My mother caught wind of this and went with us...and refused to let go of my hand the entire time!"

Armande arched a brow, leaning toward him and he actually let out a soft laugh at that. He shook his head a few times, looking him over. "That is terrible." he thought for a moment before he set both his arms onto the table, leaning toward the man. "One of my worst dates was when I was fifteen. I thought I was hot shit and that I knew everything. Mind you, I was a little virgin who managed to get a date with one of the most gorgeous girls in the whole school. I planned a bit of food and movie and whatever. She saw me who looked older and more experienced than I really was and brought me to her room. Hell yes, right? No. she was terrifying. She pinned me to the wall and whipped out a strap on with the largest dildo I've ever seen that looked like it did a round with a tentacle monster with all the bumps and whatnot. So, when she was stripping, I literally jumped out the window and ran for my life, screaming that I was gay all the way home."

He laughed, being able to picture the man in front of him jumping out the window and running for his life. "I see you were practicing your ninja skills early on in life!" he teased. "Though I suppose her bedroom was not on the fourth floor?" Serik was about to say something else when the waiters came with the main course. The blond smiled at his date and sat back to allow their plates to be placed on the table.

Leaning back, he let the plates be placed down then turned to the other with a smile. "Only the second. And it was winter so I landed in a snow pile, but it did not even process that I hurt my shin and feet until I was home." He chuckled, shaking his head a few times. "It was a little terrifying." he sighed and took a pieceo f lettuce into his mouth. He was quite hungry.

They chatted a bit as they ate, eventually making polite conversation with their tablemates, too. After the main course was cleared away, Serik stood and took Armande's hand as he did as well, leading him out into the midst of the mingling guests once more. Mainly, he just wanted to show him off. "The older lady with grey hair will inevitably ask you to dance and then grope you," he warned, pointing to the boisterous woman in the pink hat across the room. "And her friend..." Serik searched the room until he found a heavier set woman in peacock blue then pointed, "will try to set you up with her granddaughter... Who is already married to a middle-class commoner with three children."

Armande happily walked with him around the room. He kept a hold on the other, eyes fluttering to him and he smiled as he listened to the description of everyone. "Interesting." He stated and leaned against him some more. "Well, luckily I don't plan on leaving your side and don't do women." He grinned, bumping into his shoulder lightly and he looked around with a nod or two. He turned back to Serik. "Want to dance?"

He grinned. "Of course." Serik lead Armande to the middle of the dance floor and pulled him close, moving slowly to the music. "So what do you think the headlines will say tomorrow?" he asked, amused. "And better, do you think that my father will have a stroke after reading them?" He was amused by all of this, and especially at the deadly looks that Ellie was throwing their way from across the dance floor.

Armande slid his arms around the man and pulled him close to his form. He smiled a little more at the mention of the headlines. "Oh I'm hope it's something witty. Not punny, since that's never a good thing." He looked down at the other and kissed his cheek. "I love this. Dancing with you for one thing, but just spending time with you."

Humming in agreement, Serik rested his temple against Armande's. "It is rather nice," he agreed. "Especially now that I know you won't attempt to murder me." He chuckled a little, though the thought disturbed him more than he cared to admit. "So when you tripped in the museum?" he questioned softly, keeping a small smile to his lips for appearances.

Armande looked down at the other and he remained silent for a moment. He sighed softly. "I had a poison tac..." He bit his bottom lip, looking down at him and he smiled lightly. "I couldn't do it, though." He grumbled. "Sorry. I know it's not the best to hear how I planned to kill you." He lifted his eyes to him and smiled.

"Ah, but now I know to keep your hands in mine at all times."

The music drifted on, and Serik never stopped their movements. He was very comfortable in the other man's company...and his arms. "So what brought you here?" he asked. "Don't tell me that you came all this way from France just for me?" he teased lightly.

Armande kept his arms around him, smiling some more. "You will." He smiled and kissed his cheek again then the crook of his neck before resting his head against his as they swayed their forms. "Mm. I had, so you truly should feel honored." He grinned and hugged him tighter. "And I continually will, just for you."

He smiled. It was nice to know that he was worth so much to someone, even if that initial value was monetary for his life. "So what is it that you plan to do for the rest of your life now that you're not longer trying to kill me?" He didn't ever want whoever he was with to be sitting at home doing nothing and looking pretty. They'd have nothing to talk about.

Armande shrugged. "I have money saved up so technically, I probably do not need to work. But I may start up a used bookstore business or something. I really did like working there. Perhaps make a second location of my parents's." He shrugged again then turned to look down at the other. He smiled some more, eyes closing as he continued to move with the other along the dancefloor.

He nodded, and continued to dance. Until, that is, Dennis hurried over to him and tapped him on the shoulder to lean in close. "Your parents, sir. They sent me to say that the press office is being overwhelmed asking for comment on your...consort. They're releasing a statement for the morning editions." The brunette thrust a small slip of paper into the prince's hands.

Serik laughed at the wording, showing it to Armande. "You are now a close childhood friend who I am using to bring bad press upon my family in retaliation for the announcement of my intent to marry... What was her name again, Dennis?"

"Cecilia, sir."

"Right. Of course, the last bit is left unstated but it's all there." He laughed again.

Armande paused and looked at the piece of paper with a soft little laugh. "Wonderful!" he chimed, arm slipping around the other's waist as he pressed against him to read it closer. "I had no idea I knew you when you were a child. I really am good at my job, aren't I?" He smiled and then shrugged, looking down at the other with a warm smile. "So what are we to do about that then?"

Dennis stuttered while Serik laughed and answered. "We are to act appropriately, obviously. Keep a distance, act friendly but definitely not how we have been and the like. Of course, I have no intentions of following those unsaid instructions but they're nice to keep as a guideline in the back of my head." He smiled and wrapped his arm tightly around Armande's waist. "And, of course, the press will twist the statement anyway. Quotes will be around 'childhood friend' and some cheesy line or other will be tacked on the end, and then they'll question my intent to marry which will get Greece's feather's ruffled which means I'm sure to get a very early wake up call from my dear father demanding my presence at a meeting between them."

Armande looked down at the other and smiled some more. "So... I shouldn't stay the night then, even if just because it is too late when we get back for me to return to my room?" He smiled, just wanting to be sure that he did not completely step over his boundaries and whatnot. He just wanted to have fun and, well, ruin his father's way of thinking. He smiled a little more before he turned to look at the man.

Chuckling, Serik pressed a kiss to the man's cheek and shooed Dennis off to enjoy the party for himself-he'd gotten in somehow, he might as well enjoy it, right? The blond lead his date back into the mingling crowd, the moment of their dance broken. "Perhaps," he countered as they walked, "I just won't go home at all and will allow you to guide me somewhere to have your wicked way with me."

Armande smiled, looking down at the other and smiling a little bit more. He really would love that. Far too much. He smirked. "mm. My way may be wicked, but it's completely worth it, I'd say." He chuckled a little and then looked around before back to the boy. "So. You would allow me to take you?" He asked, smiling a bit. "And I mean that in a lot of different ways"

He chuckled. "Only if you can take exactly what you dish out, my dear." They stopped to chat with the government head for a few minutes before slipping off to mingle elsewhere. There was no one really interesting at the party and Serik was beginning to get bored. The press was gone to meet their morning deadlines and Ellie had either slipped off or was stalking them from the shadows. Either way, she wasn't causing any trouble. "Another five minutes or so?" he asked, leading Armande up to the bar for a drink.

Armande took a glass of wine and nodded with a smile. "sounds perfect. Want me to steal you then?" He asked, looking down at the other, truly curious if he could. Even if just to cuddle and whatnot, he would like that a lot.

He laughed while taking his beer and paying for it, shrugging. "I'm not going to tell you want I want," he answered with a smile. "I'm going to make you guess and work for it... because that's just more fun." Serik sipped the beer and leaned back against the bar to people watch for a bit, enjoying himself immensely. "Thank you for coming with me. I don't think I've had this much fun at an event in a long time."

Armande groaned. "You're lucky I think you're worth it." he teased and bumped his shoulder into him gently. He then took a sip of his wine. He leaned against the bar while he looked down at the other, smiling lightly. "That's what I'm here for." He stated with a soft little laugh. "I actually enjoyed myself, and well, it's great to be able to get out once in a while, and more importantly spend time with you."
