Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Nodding happily, Acheron followed the man. He really had been afraid that he'd never find his mate, and lately had been very jealous of Kherty for finding his so early. Now he didn't have to feel that way about his brother, and his parents could stop whispering about him behind his back. The boy smiled up at his mother when Calder entered the office twenty minutes later. "I want to come here, Mama. Can I? Please?" Calder just chuckled and nodded, knowing that this was going to be Acheron's choice.

"We'll just sign the papers and go give your father a call after some lunch in town, yeah?"

Incubus grinned. "Perfect! We scribbled them up for you already. I wanted to do it rainbow colors, but Acheron made the point that it would not be very professional. So I settled for purple ink." He said with a grin, handing him the sheets that he needed to sign. "There's room assignment. Classes. he'll be my private little tutor or whatever. Working around my schedule since I do teach and whatnot." He nodded to confirm his thoughts then pointed to a few things. "That's the whole 'who ya gunna call' when the Ghostbusters are busy. And then this is the ...something with something." he looked it over and shrugged. "Something about classes or insurance. I really have no idea."

Laughing, Calder sat down to look over the paperwork. It was fairly similar to the paperwork at Prometheus, and the blond knew the drill. He signed his name, filled out info that was required, and when he was done nearly thirty minutes later, the blond slid the papers back over to Incubus. "We'll be sending over his furniture from home," he added, "and either his father or I will have him here for the first day of the new semester." Acheron smiled at his mother, trying to not bounce with excitement.

"And I'll have that room?" he asked. "The one we saw today?"

"Groovy. Grooooovy." he looked over everything and quickly signed away his signature as well before he turned and began tapping away at the computer. Which only took five minutes since he had everything set up, just needed to wait for the signatures of Calder. "And that's great! Send his things over before he's here and we can make sure they're set up. Or we can just make sure we get it done quickly. No need to deprive the kid of his bed." He grinned and poked Acheron's cheek lightly. "Of course. My room is even next to yours, so you won't have to feel too alone."

"Now to tell your father." Calder smiled at his son and sat back while Incubus fiddled with the paperwork on the computer. He raised an eyebrow at the comment and turned to Acheron. "Why did you choose the room you did?" he asked softly, glad that the other man was busy. The boy shrugged.

"It felt like it was supposed to be mine..." He ducked his head a little, wondering if his mother would be making him choose a new room. It was different than it had been with Kherty. He would be in a place hundreds of miles from his parents, and he wasn't a toddler... "I... I don't have to change rooms, do I?" he asked, eyes wide and pleading.

Calder thought for a minute but shook his head. "No. But you have to tell your father about your decision."

Soon enough, the time to move came and Rune was pouty. He liked his little brats! They were adorable. Okay. He would be a little happier to get rid of Kherty and Julian, mainly the latter, but he liked spoiling Acheron. he pouted and crouched down in front of the boy, poking his belly a few times. "You're sure you don't want to stay with us?" he teased, smiling a bit more. He had been informed one of the main reasons the boy was choosing to stay here, and he did not mind. He was quite happy for his son.

Kherty on the other hand wanted to go to Prometheus. He loved his brother and was very very very happy for him... and that is why he was going to the other school. He wanted Acheron to have the chance to have alone time with his soul mate and him with his own. He ran to his brother, arms wrapping around him and he hugged him tightly. "I'll miss you but I"ll write you every day! Or at least when I remember to and and ... and make me pretty things in art class, okay? I want a package of cool stuff at least once a month!"

Calder was too busy getting all three boys packed (with care packages included, of course) to be sad just yet. The blond rushed around the house, throwing last minute things into their bags, while tripping over shoes and other forgotten items as well.

Acheron laughed and hugged his brother. "Okay but don't be stupid. We're going on the same plane. You're just gonna drop me off at Atlantis before you go to Prometheus!" He shook his head and looked at his father, shrugging. "I'll be close," he offered, hugging him happily. "But don't eat all the chocolate out of the gifts Mom sends me!"

Julian had stood back, watching the family before him say goodbye. He'd been adopted into it, of course, and Kherty was his mate, but he had always felt like an outsider looking in, despite everyone's attempts to make him feel welcome. The blond wrapped his arms around Kherty's waist and rested his head on the boy's shoulder.

Rune then turned to Julian, leaning closer to him and resting a finger on the tip of his nose. "And you. You will take care of Kherty and will NOT do anything remotely sexual until you are both ready and at LEAST .. well I'd prefer fifty eight, but I"ll settle for your teens. got it, squirt?"

Looking at the man, the blond studied him. "Is that why you don't like me?" he asked softly. "Because you think that the bond I have with Kherty is sexual?" Julian had had a feeling that it was a main reason, but had said nothing until now. Honestly, he hadn't really wanted an answer before but figured that since they were leaving to go across a full country and an ocean, there was no harm in asking.

Rune grinned. "Cute." he patted his head. "That's only part. The other part is that you're taking my baby from me." he winked and kissed his cheek gently. "You stay safe too, all right?" he said and leaned back, eyes staying to the boy. "We love you too. So don't go crazy. Pretty much anything I would do, don't. I'm a bad influence. Your mum too. Find a better example to follow. Really almost anyone would do. Nikkos isa good example. yea. he was a recluse for a while. Follow his steps..."

Kherty arched a brow. "Dad! Just... stop talking." he laughed and hugged him before running over to Calder to hug him tightly.

"Tomias," he answered. "I like Tomias." Nodding, the blond leaned forward and pecked Rune's cheek.

Acheron smiled as he fell back onto the bed that had been sent from home and set up for him. It felt nice knowing that he was near his mate. Being home after visiting had been difficult for him, and he had counted down the days until he could be back at the school...even though he'd felt bad about doing so after he found out that Kherty and Julian had decided to go to Prometheus.

Lifting the bags into the car, Nikkos smiled at the boys and greeted them. "Tomias has a room set up for you to stay in at the school," he mentioned, climbing into the car and being sure the boys were buckled in before he started driving. "And I'm sure Relic has filled it to the brim with clothes for you, too. Ready?"

Incubus knocked gently on Acheron's door, turning it and poking his head in. "hey! Headmaster invasion of space AND!" he skipped into the room with a bouquet full of bright and colorful flowers, setting it onto the desk. "You better not be allergic. Your room needed some pizaz and color sooo you get these! For now." he grinned and rested his hands onto his hips "How are you doing?"

Kherty smiled. "That sounds great!" he said, holding onto Julian's hand, leaning his head against his shoulder, sinking into him with a gentle sigh. He was so very happy right now.

Acheron had to truly hold himself back from jumping up and hugging Incubus as he entered the room. Somehow, though, he managed and instead he just smiled shyly at the headmaster and thanked him. "I'm sure I'll fill it up with bright paintings and sculptures soon," he answered, sitting back on the bed. "Mr. Glassan? What are your powers?" he asked, realizing that he really had no idea.

Nodding, Julian agreed and leaned back into Kherty. He felt free, though he knew he'd been free at home in Hawaii it was different here. "Are we going straight to the school?" he asked, curious and trying to make conversation. Nikkos shook his head, though.

"Figured we'd stop by the house and have something to eat. How's that sound?"

"hm?" Incubus sat on the chair, backward with his legs straddling the back of it. His arms crossed on the top and he grinned. The tip of his middle finger rested delicately in the center of a flower, causing it to shrivel into a brown decaying flower. "This is what I learned I first could do. Then, after too many years I care to share, I learned to do this." He set his finger back onto the flower, the bud blooming and even a few more flowers sprouted from the stem. "The first is terrifying... I uh... lost one to many lovers." he shook his head then turned to him with a grin. "I'm in control now! So you don't have to worry that I'll accidentally kill you."

Kherty grinned, stomach growling. "Sounds yummy!"

He watched intently as the flower first shriveled and died, and then blossomed back to life. "When did you first figure out you were...different?" he asked, pulling his knees to his chest as they chatted. This was nice, and Acheron could imagine doing this every day with the other. "Did...did you get in trouble when you couldn't control your powers?"

Incubus thought for a moment before he sighed. "I was five. I killed the family dog. I sobbed for weeks! I didn't really get in trouble since er. I told my parents it was the neighbor's son who hit him with his car on accident.." he shrugged then turned to look at the other and he nodded. "Well, yes. killing people tends to not really be something non-punishable. It... wasn't a fun time. But after a lot of isolation time in jail, the former headmaster here came and basically saved me. Took me from jail. Taught me how to control my powers. and bam! From then on, I've been quite good."

Jail? That scared Acheron a good deal and he shuddered softly. "Uncle Nikkos?" he asked, remembering his parents telling him that Uncle Nikkos had been the headmaster here when they went to school here. "How come they punished you?" he asked after another minute. "Didn't you tell them it was an accident?" He and his brothers had lived a pretty sheltered life, and he knew that his father had hurt people but he was never punished for it.

"Yep! He was like my knight in shining attitude! I loved it. Had quite the crush on him for a while.." he trailed off before shaking his head and turning back to the other. He laughed "not everyone's lucky like your father." He shrugged. "All the jury saw were three victims that I had killed. They did not accept that I cannot control it... And they sent me to jail. I was there for five years. I think." he thought for a moment then shook his head and looked back over at him. "But I'll let you know, I wouldn't change anything. All that bad in my life led me to so much good that... I would do it over again. You have to take the bad and see the good, you know?"

Nodding as he still thought about it, Acheron chewed on his lower lip a little bit. He was glad that Incubus wasn't sad over what had happened to him, but he was still sad about it. The boy supposed it was his natural instinct to protect his mate, despite the fact that he knew he logically couldn't have at the time because he didn't even exist. "How come they let Uncle Nikkos take you?"

"Hm?" He perked up, looking at the other and laughing. "Have you seen that man angry? Wait no. have you seen that man before your Uncle Tomias?" he laughed again and shook his head. "He was intimidating. From what he told me, he let the policemen know that I could not control it. It was a power. Et cetera. When they did not believe him... well... they easily turned when everything in the room began to spin." He winked and shrugged his shoulders again. "I was lucky in that aspect as well, I suppose."

Nodding, Acheron took his word for it. Obviously he hadn't known his uncle before meeting Tomias but by the sound of it, he really wouldn't have wanted to anyway. Of course, his parents had known him and survived... "Did you know my mom and dad too?" he asked, curious. He'd heard a lot of stories from his parents but it was always more interesting to hear stories from a third party. He stood up and moved to begin unpacking as they chatted. He hated clutter.

He shook his head. "I knew of them. I never personally met them. Calder was a hoot. your mom. He constantly was torturing Nikkos and Archer and everyone else." He smiled and shook his head. He then smiled some more "I remember their Halloween get-ups... That was always interesting." He laughed and then poked the boy's nose lightly. "I won't tell you any stories about them. Not yet anyway." he winked and then stood up with a groan, arms stretching above his head and he then looked down at the other. "So. Do you want to sleep and get your things together, or would you like to come get some food?"

It wasn't really a choice for him. Smiling, Acheron put the clothes he was holding in his hands into the drawer. "Food!" he answered, happy to step beside the man. His hand itched to reach out and take Incubus's, but he restrained himself. There were other students at the school now, and he was a student. He was sure that it wasn't appropriate to be holding the headmaster's hand, even if it was likely to be seen as him just being a scared little kid. Acheron didn't want to get into the habit and then be let down if he was forced to stop.

"Good option!" He grinned and clapped his hands together. He then set his hand onto the back of his shoulders, leading him out of the room and toward the cafeteria. "I have to say, the food is fairly good here. Probably since it's a private school and whatnot. blah blah blaah." He laughed, batting a hand in the air nonchalantly. "It may not be the best, but it's tasty. So that counts for something, doesn't it?" He grinned and then looked around before moving into the hall.

They walked and Acheron tried to stay as physically close to Incubus as he could, without being too obvious. Warmth spread through him when his shoulder was touched and he tried hard to not lean into it. "Um. Do you greet every new student like this?" he asked, looking up at the man. He was hoping that the answer was 'no'; that he was special to the headmaster in some way. That would be enough for now...
