Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Kherty pouted and whined at Calder. "But... Moooom!" he whined some more and tugged the man's hand.

Rune chuckled and looked down at the boy, enjoying this quite a bit. He moved him through the water, smiling some more as the boy was getting the hang of it quite easily.

"Why don't you take Kherty and Julian to Prometheus?" Calder suggested as they cleaned up from dinner one night. The boys were nearing eight, and they needed to decide which school they wanted to attend. "You can visit with Relic." The blond knew that his husband missed his brother, and this would be the perfect opportunity for him to visit. "I'll take Acheron to Atlantis. We can switch the kids after a few days."

Rune perked up and pulled him into a tight hug, kissing his lips softly. "okay." he grinned and nuzzled him some more, kissing him some more. "Wanna go have lots of happy 'we'll be parted for a couple weeks' and 'i love you so much' sex?" He grinned, really deeply happy right now. The kids were wonderful. They were growing up to be adorable and he wanted them to be able to know what to do with their powers and be sure to make the right decisions.

He laughed and kissed his husband.

They left a week later, Rune with Kherty and Julian to Italy and Calder with Acheron to Utah. "So what do you think about going to a school so far from home?" he asked as they walked towards the administration offices. Nikkos had said that the new headmaster would be expecting them, but the blond lead his son through the hallways slowly, taking in his old home for the first time in a very long time.

Acheron shrugged a little, not really saying much. "Are you nervous?" Calder asked, only to get another shrug in return.

Opening the door, a very bubbly blond opened up. His long, wavy hair pulled back and into a high ponytail. Green eyes sparkling and a wide grin to his lips. "This must be Acheron!" he held his hand out to the boy, smiling some more. "Welcome to my school! I've made a lot of changes since your Daddy was here. All good ones, I would like to hope. Come in!" He then led the boy inside, hips swaying from side to side in a pair of tight blue jeans, a nice button down shirt on his torso. He patted the chairs in front of his large desk and plopped down.

"We have new teachers. A whole new library. New rooms! We pretty much renovated. One of the students a decade or so ago blew up a whole wing so we re did that then well... everything else looked so glum! So we redid the architecture and kept the old look and I'm babbling! Oh! I never introduced myself either. I'm Incubus. Not an Incubus, it's my name. Incubus Glasson."

Calder smiled at the man and followed him into the office, keeping a close eye on Acheron, who was shifting on his feet more than usual.

As they grew closer to the headmaster's office, his chest warmed. Acheron knew that this was where his mate was, but wasn't sure if that was what the pull meant, or if it meant that his mate was actually in the office. The tightness disappeared, though, the moment they were in the man's presence, and he knew easily. He smiled for the first time and shook the headmaster's hand, wondering just how his parents would react... Acheron didn't say anything, he was a little too shocked still to do so, but he watched the man, taking in each movement to learn them. After a few moments, he finally got a question out. "I... There are others like me here?" He wanted to know if the man across from them would understand what he was feeling.

Incubus sat, long right leg draping over his left and his eyes fluttered to the boy. "Well. Not exactly like you. You're your own you. But! There are ones similar to you. I do not meet many who age as rapidly. Very, very few. But there is a boy or two and even a girl I think who you can talk to. They're already into their late teens now, though. But they're nice! Annoying, but nice." he grinned and crossed his arms, setting them onto the desk and looking at the boy. "I can introduce you to some if you would like. I have to say, most kids are nice. When they're young like you are, they tend to be a little nicer, but if you do come here, know that you can come to me if any of them ever bother you! I'll make sure they stop."

Acheron smiled again at the man in front of them. He liked that the headmaster was already protective of him; it felt nice. "Thank you," he answered softly, as a faint blush graced his cheeks.

"I think, if you wouldn't mind, that we'd like to take a look around?" Calder asked, patting his son's shoulder while standing. "At least I would. I have very fond memories of this school..." The blond smiled at the man behind the desk.

"Uh... Maybe... Maybe I could stay here?" Acheron looked up at his mother, still blushing. "I... Maybe I could ask some more questions?" Calder caught on a bit more and chuckled.

"Only if Mr. Glasson doesn't mind, sweetheart."

Incubus smiled and shook his head. "I don't mind at all." He stated while looking down at the boy then up to Calder once more. "I also do not mind taking a walk with you to look at everything. There are some empty doors that you can see where you may be staying." He then looked back at Acheron. "I also do not mind staying here with you if you have more questions. Whichever will make you happier and hopefully make you come here." He grinned. "Your choice.'

The option wasn't something that he was really expecting, and it made Acheron a little nervous. If he blurted out what was truly on his mind ("I want to be wherever you are!"), he would give himself away. But it was the truth: He wanted to be wherever the headmaster was. He looked to his mother for help, and Calder chuckled a little. "Why don't you show us around?" he suggested. "I'm sure Acheron can ask his questions as we walk, right?" The young boy nodded and stood, anxious to be even closer to the man.

"Um... What sort of classes would I take?" Looking around as they had walked into the office to begin with, the students all seemed older.

Incubus walked with them before he sighed. "Hold on. If we're chatting while doing this, we need to change." He took up the boy and hoisted him up and onto his shoulders. "Much better. Now I can hear you." He grinned while he walked forward and through the halls. "Basic ones that kids your age would take. Math, Science, et cetera. Then you'll have a class to help with your powers." he said, looking up at the boy and smiling more. "It's basically a normal school but with teachers who are prepared to tend to any problems a magical student may have. Or if you're acting up." He shrugged, purposely doing it a little more dramatically so he bumped the boy on his shoulders.

His stomach exploded in butterflies as he was lifted onto the man's shoulders. He whimpered softly, chewing on his lower lip a little as he walked. Acheron forced a smile to Incubus when he looked up at him, but was glad that the other had to keep looking forward for the most part. "Oh... Um.... Do... Do you teach?" he asked, a bit nervous that he would give himself away, if he hadn't already.

Incubus nodded and did a small twirl in the hall, looking from one thing to another then soon stopping in front of a room. "This one's mine. I teach arts and crafts. Normally it's just art, but every once in a while, I'll add some crafty things in there. Like bracelets or making baskets.. That kinda stuff." he then scooped the other off his shoulders, placing him down and opening the door. "Wanna do anything?" he asked, stepping inside and flipping on a light while he looked from one thing to another. "You and your... oh wait. You call him Mom? Yea. your mom and you can make bracelets! Oooor paint a picture!" He grinned before he paused. "oh wait. No. We were on a tour!"

He twisted his hands a little, looking between both men. Acheron didn't really care what it was they did, so long as Incubus was present but he also didn't want to say something stupid, either. Smiling, Calder ruffled his hair a little. "Why don't you two continue on the tour?" he suggested, holding in a little laughter when his son's eyes shone happily. "Devlin's still here Nikkos said. I'll go bother him!"

"oh yes!" Incubus grinned. "Please do! He owes me cupcakes anyway." He pouted then shook his head and looked down at Acheron. "How about we take a tour of the other classrooms then the dorms. If your Mom needs us, just have us paged." He winked to Calder then held a hand to Acheron. "I don't want to lose you, little one." He then began to move through the school, telling the boy the different rooms and what was taught there, who the teacher was, things of that sort. He made sure the tour was nice and that if there were any questions, he answered it.

Coming up to the dorms, he smiled. "They've been refurbished. Some of them. Again, we tried to keep with the original style since it was so very nice, so the dorms still have character."

His heart fluttered a little as he took the older man's hand to walk through the rest of the school. He asked a few questions, but for the most part was content to listen to the description of the rooms and teachers, so long as Incubus continued to hold his hand. Really, though, he paid no attention to where they were, or what room they were in, until they made it to the dorms and the words started to flutter in. "Would I have my own room?" he asked softly, looking up at the man.

"Of course!" he grinned and opened the door to let him in. Inside was a nice twin-sized bed. A desk, a comfy chair, and a door to a bathroom. "You're welcome to a roommate if you wish, but these are the single-dorms. Some of them have bathrooms that are shared, but this one doesn't." He said and then scooped the boy up to set him onto the desk so that he could look around. "You get your bed and mattress, but your parents can buy you one you would like better. You just have to make special arrangements before you move in so that the bed can get here and we can move this one out." He then hopped over to the window and opened it up, looking out. "And oh! this one you can look at the courtyard. It's beautiful in winter because of all the lights and we even pop up a Christmas tree." he grinned and then skipped back over to him, plopping himself on the desk beside him. "Are you liking the school so far? You can tell me honestly. I know you'll look at Prometheus too, but I like to know if you think there are things that can be improved and whatnot."

His head was spinning a bit but Acheron was enjoying the attention. The boy smiled at the other as he listened, wondering if he could request this room especially. It was nice, and the view in the winter sounded perfect. Acheron nodded that he liked the school, still looking around. If he looked to Incubus, the blush would come back and his mother wasn't here to cover for him. "Will I get to pick some of my classes?" he asked, thinking that taking art to spend time during the day with the headmaster sounded like a fabulous idea, despite not having a creative bone in his body. "And go out shopping in the town?"

"Of course! Well, the shopping you need a chaperon, but there are plenty of those. The classes you may. I believe there are two that you can choose. Sports, art, those sorta extracurricular things that aren't learning your other bits of information." Incubus shrugged and then looked around the room before turning back to him. "You can even choose your room. Well, as long as no one's in it. You're adorable, but even I can't kick someone out of a room for you." He winked and let out a happy little laugh. "It's fairly easy to be here. Especially at your age. It's more difficult later on. I won't lie to you about that. It is! But that's just when you start going for college prep and blah blah blah. No worries!" He bumped his shoulder into his.

Maybe he could get Incubus to chaperon him... The wheels in Acheron's head were turning bit by bit as he took in the words. "And... And I can learn fast enough to keep up with my aging?" he asked, shifting a little so that their shoulders were touching now. It worried him that he'd be a fifteen year old, but still taking fifth or sixth grade classes. "The others did, right?"

"oh yes!" he grinned. "That's the perk of your race. The ones that I've had learn very easily. And you, and if your brother come here, will basically be bouncing from classrooms until you're set. Or I may make a special teacher for you guys. I haven't decided yet. but! Since you learn so quickly, the classes will be different for other kids. If I get what I want. If I don't, then what will happen is you'll be in classes with the other students and when you feel you can advance, you come let me know, and then you will move onto the next grade. And it basically keeps going like that, with some extra tutoring on the side to be sure you have everything you need to move into ninth or tenth grade. That all depends on how well you learned." He winked with a smile and leaned into him a little bit. "I know you'll do well."

"Special teacher?" he asked, hopeful that it would mean spending extra time with the man. "Um. I mean. That sounds nice." He was grateful for everything Incubus seemed to be doing to accommodate him and Kherty and Julian, and even though he knew he'd be choosing to go to Atlantis, he couldn't help but wonder if Prometheus was offering the same things. Though, Acheron assumed that it would since their uncle was the headmaster. "I... I think I'd like to come here," he answered, ducking his head a little. "But I want this room...and to take art...and..." he paused for a minute to be sure he wasn't going to embarrass himself. "And I want you to be my teacher... The special one you were talking about."

Incubus looked down at the boy, smiling a little bit more as he did so. He really was adorable! He grinned and wrapped an arm around his little shoulders, pulling him into a hug, kissing the top of his head then leaning away with a chuckle. "Of course. How about we go find your Mom and we can make plans for everything. Oh! You can even come to my art class tomorrow" He grinned some more. "I need a little minion to help me do things, and that way, you can see what it will be like. I won't make everything finalized until you've seen Prometheus, but I will make it so there just needs to be signatures and then you have it. I just don't want you o feel like you have to come here if you really love Prometheus." He hopped down from the desk, holding his hands to the boy. "Shall we find your mom?"

"No!" He looked up at the other and smiled. "I mean, I don't want to go to Prometheus. This is so much closer to home and I... I feel comfortable here." It wasn't a lie, it just wasn't his motivation to attend the school. "I'm sure Mom will sign the papers today." Acheron slid down from the desk. "And I'd like that. To attend your class tomorrow, I mean." Anything to spend more time with the man was a plus. "Um... So yeah. Mom." He awkwardly headed to the door, holding his hand out hopefully.

Taking the boy's hand, he smiled a little more. "Okay. Then let's go find your mom." He held his hand, swinging their hands back and forth while they walked. He looked from one thing to another, humming happily as he did so. He looked around then turned back to the boy. "I'm happy that you want to be here." He said simply and strolled through the halls, hips swaying as he did so. "Let's go write them up and I'll call Devlin to send your mum to us." He grinned and moved through the halls, letting him know some more things about the school and classes.
