Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

It was still a little jarring to be called anything other than "papa", but that was what these two had dubbed him, and so that was what he was. "Oh?" he asked, far more interested in the fact that they were closer to being potty trained than the fact that they'd been given chocolate. "Did Daddy give you lunch, too?" he asked, allowing himself to be pulled through the house.

Acheron followed his brother out to the living room and took a hold of his other hand. "Daddy said chocolate WAS lunch! Can we have chocolate for dinner, too?"

Kherty nodded with a giggle. "Mhm! Daddy gave us yummy brownies! but he ate most of them. It's not very nice but but but... but he let us go and play in the pool too!" He beamed, grinning as he stared up at the other, taking his hand and leading him into the kitchen with a giggle.

Rune was in there, licking the chocolate off his fingers and he looked up at his love, instantly scrambling to his feet. "calder! Don't leave me with them!" He whimpered and kissed the man before pulling back and gripping his shirt. "They bombarded me! And forced me to feed them chocolate."

"DID NOT! MOMMY! DADDY LIES!"

Rune looked over at the kids." HEy! Daddy was trying to not get Mommy to kill him!" He pouted then turned back to Calder. "I looove you."

"Oh?" Calder asked, smirking at his husband. "What else does Daddy lie about?" he asked, crouching down to the level of their sons and smiling at them. "Does he lie a lot?" Acheron nodded enthusiastically. "He told us we could go to the zoo today but didn't take us! And he said that broccoli was yummy but it's NOT!" The boy's eyes were wide and his face was serious. "Oh, well then I think Daddy needs a time out, don't you?" The little boy nodded his head (which was sporting lime green hair). "Maybe no dessert tonight?" He nodded again.

Rune blinked a few times. "HEY! Why am I being ganged up on?" He whined, pouting some more as he watched his children betray him.

Kherty nodded. "Yes! And Daddy said that he was going to sell us if we didn't behave and that you wouldn't stop him!"

Rune arched a brow. "Okay. that's completely true, but still!" He huffed and pinched both boys's cheeks. "You're ruining daddy's reputation." He stated, scooping them each under an arm then beginning to run away. "WERE LEAVING! FOREVER! DONT COME LOOKING FOR US!" He grinned and ran out of the house, Kherty squealing with glee as he watched his father run to the water. Tumbling into the waves - not even caring about the clothes he wore.

He watched both boys laugh hysterically at Rune's antics, and played along. Calder chased after Rune, and caught him around the middle as they entered the water. "No!" he cried dramatically. "Give them back!" The blond 'beat' on Rune's back with closed fists, even as he leaned up to whisper in his lover's ear. "If you do, I'll let you have your very wicked way with me tonight..." Calder's arms came around his husband's waist again, fingers finding bare flesh beneath the hem of the other man's shirt.

Rune paused when he was in the water, feeling his love and then he turned to press a kiss to his lips with a growl. "Have 'em!" He declared and shoved both boys into his husband's arms. "It's probably bad to sell my children for that, huh?" He laughed then held all three and fell back into the water, rolling around before finally flopping on the shore, waves still crashing over them.

"Very illegal," he laughed, kissing his lover as they rolled in the water. Looking over, the blond pulled the two boys to them and kissed both of their heads. "What do you think?" he asked, head resting on Rune's chest. "Should we make Daddy take us out to a nice dinner tonight?" Not that Rune wouldn't have taken for most any reason... "We can get a big double chocolate brownie fudge sundae and eat it in front of him." He winked at both, happier than he had been in quite some time.

"YEAH!" was the first response from Acheron as he jumped up and straddled (as best he could with his short little legs) Rune's stomach, bouncing.

"yes yes!" Kherty perked up and slid off Calder to begin poking at Rune's side, shaking him a few times "Let's go to the neat steak and fish place! The one where there's a lobster riding a cow outfront! OH OH ! Let's go have steak. I want steak. I like steak. It's yummy. and they have that yummy yummy yummy desserts too!"

Rune looked at the two and smiled, turning to Calder. "What's mommy say?" It really was strange to be called Daddy ... he was almost tempted to have them call him Mama like the rest of his kids.

"I say I think that one," he pointed to Kherty, "is a vampire." The blond laughed a little but shrugged. "Wherever you want to go." They laid like that for another few minutes before Calder pulled himself to his feet, and sent the kids up towards the house. He helped his husband up and leaned up to kiss him before turning to the house themselves (because God only knew what the twins would get into if left to their own devices for five seconds). "I also think that you should take me on a date this weekend," he mentioned, bumping their hips together.

Rune looked at the other and he smiled warmly. "All right." He liked the idea, so why not? He kissed his cheek lightly. "We can have Katy come over and spend the night and we can get a hotel." He offered, looping his fingers with the other's and he smiled some more as he did so. He loved Calder so very much. And he was happy that they seemed to be getting back into a happier mode. He sighed and kissed his head before opening the door for him. To see two naked twins running around, giggling.
"OI! clothes!" Rune quickly caught them and began to rush up the stairs.

It didn't take too long to get everyone dressed and ready to leave. Calder had taken the boys and began to buckle them into their car seats. He kissed both of their heads before standing straight and closing the car door, and then things went to shit. Before the blond could realize what was happening, someone had rushed through the opened gates at the end of the driveway, (literally) jumped into the car and took off. The blond's eyes were wide and his heart seized up, and it took a full second before he could get his body to react. "RUNE!"

Rune was just closing the door when he heard the car. Thinking Calder was joking until he heard his husband's voice. He turned and went wide-eyed. "OH SHIT NO!" He ran past Calder, chasing after the car and grumbling some more. Like he was letting someone take his car AND his babies? Fuck no! He growled and soon wings sprouted from his back and he took to the air. Easily catching up and landing on the car's hood. He reached into the driver's side and took the man, throwing him onto the pavement then sliding in to put the car in stop. Sighing as he turned to look at the boys. "You okay?"

Calder had taken off in one of their other cars, following Rune while running anyone off the road who got in his way. He cared about nothing but getting their children back. The blond slammed on the breaks when he saw his husband and their car stopped, threw it in neutral and rushed over to Rune's side without bothering to shut the engine off. Acheron was sobbing and red-faced, and Calder went directly to him to pull him from his car seat. He held the boy to his body, hugging him tightly while shushing him a little. "It's okay, sweetheart," he cooed, trying hard to keep his voice soft and even despite how scared he'd been. "Mummy and Daddy are here now, yeah?"

Rune followed suit and quickly took Kherty who was in no better condition than his brother. "Shh shhh. It's okay." He whispered, holding him tightly and pressing his head against his, rocking back and forth as he sat in the car, fingers trailing through his hair and he tried to calm the baby boy. "Mommy and daddy won't ever let anything bad happen to you. I promise that. with my whole being. No one will get to you two. Ever."

He came around to where Rune was sitting (kicking the asshole who was moaning on the ground in the ribs) and stood next to them, a hand reaching out for one of his husband's. They comforted the boys until they had cried themselves to sleep, the blond envying them for being able to sleep instead of having to drive back to the house. "I'll meet you back at the house, yeah?" he asked, pressing a kiss to the other man's lips.

Rune sighed, holding the boy a little more before he nodded. He leaned down and kissed his lips, setting Kherty into the carseat of Calder's car. "Of course. I'll tend to... him." He said with another kiss to his lips before he smiled some more. "Everything is going to be okay." He kissed him then smiled some more. "I'll meet you home." he reassured him then went to his car, dragging the other into it.

He was a couple hours later when he finally came into the house with a sigh. He groaned and fell onto the couch, fingers pushing through his hair.

He nodded and left with the boys, careful to not wake them as he brought them into the house one by one (being sure the gate was completely secure before doing so) and putting them to bed. Calder was just coming downstairs from undressing when he heard Rune. The blond moved over to his husband's side and leaned into it, hugging the man tightly to him. "Can we weld it shut?" he asked, not really sure if he was joking or not.

Rune wrapped his arm around him, kissing his cheek softly. "Mm. I say we make them taller and put barbed wire around the top." He paused then looked down at him. "And potentially electrify it." He added and turned to kiss him, sighing softly as he did so. He leaned down and pressed his head into the crook of his neck. His arms looped around him and he pulled him closer into his side.

"Can't electrify it," he muttered, stroking his fingers through Rune's hair. "They run up and shove their little heads through it when they know you're pulling up the road." The last thing they needed was to know that a choice they had made had harmed the kids. Of course, Calder couldn't help but laugh every time they did that and it was harder for them to get their heads out from between the iron stakes than it had been only three days before. He kissed Rune and slowly untangled himself. "I'm starved. Pizza? Chinese? Anything that delivers."

"Mm... Chinese." He agreed, standing up and walking over to get the menu and the number. He then turned and walked back to Calder. "We will just have to be a little more careful until they're older." He said and then sat down while looking through the menu. "Maybe we should sign them up for defense classes." He offered and turned to look at him. "That way they can at least have a way to protect themselves if it's needed."

Planting himself in Rune's lap, the blond hummed in thought. "Yeah... Aren't they a little small still though? I mean, they were strapped in car seats so what could they have done?" He didn't want to think what would have happened if they were old enough to consider unbuckling themselves and jumping from the car. And, of course, they weren't going to be small for very long, either. "We'll look into places tomorrow."

Rune turned to look at the other, long lashes batting against his cheeks and he leaned up to kiss his lips. He then pulled back with a soft sigh. His fingers slid along his form and he held him a bit more. "Well. I just mean for their own protection so that they could kick ass if they had been taken out or something." he sighed softly and nuzzled his love a little more. "I just want some sort of insurance for our babies, you know?" he shrugged then took the phone and ordered half of what was on the menu then hung up.

Turning to straddle Rune's lap, the blond pressed their lips together, sighing into the kiss. He stopped, pulling away to listen. He could have sworn he heard a knock... "Did you hear something?" he asked, listening harder. Calder heard it again, a very soft, tiny knock to their front door. The blond raised an eyebrow to his husband but stood up to go pull the door open and his eyebrows rose further into his hairline. A tiny boy in a cat-eared purple striped poncho looking garment toddled directly into the house and headed for the stairs, not giving anyone a second look. "Uh... Rune?"

Rune perked up, looking up at his love and then seeing the boy. 'Hey! Not mine!" he protested, hands in the air. He really felt like Tomias right now. He walked over to the stairs and followed the boy. "Excuse me? What are you doing?" He asked, eyes staying to the boy and he followed him even more, not really wanting him to be a potential risk to their children. Especially since that seemed to be where he was going!

Toddling along, the boy didn't pay any attention to either of them, and Calder could only guess what was going on. "You really think he's going to answer you?" he asked Rune, following them both up the stairs and directly into the boy's room. The blond watched, eyes wide, as their 'visitor's' little legs carried him over to Kherty's crib and he was even more surprised that the little boy easily scaled the side of it, climbing into the bed and curling into their son's front with a (happy?) sigh. Standing in the doorway, Calder looked at his husband. "Uhhhh...?" He really was at a loss for words.
