Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

It had been a few months with no success in finding adoptive parents for six bunny babies. Relic was tired and disappointed, and wanted his mother. The brunette packed up all six and dragged Romulus along for company to go back home for a visit. These were the times he was glad for rich parents because six crawling babies would be hell on commercial flights. He gave a sigh of relief when they reached the orphanage, because there were a million little hands who were willing to take the bunnies off of their hands for a little while. Remus ran to Relic and threw his arms around the man tightly. "Hi Mom."

Relic wrapped his arms around Remus, kissing his head gently, then soon doing the same to Romulus. He hugged them happily and perked up. 'I see you brought me a gift!" He grinned and kissed his sons once more. "Come on. Let's go to the kitchen and have some snacks." he stated, leading them to the room.

Rune ... had no idea what happened. One moment, he was coming ot the orphanage because Relic needed a hand. The next, he was bombarded by six white bunny-boys all clinging to his limbs and refusing to let anyone take them away. "RELIC!" He called out, managing to find his way ot the kitchen with the rest of the help attempting to take the kids off. "What the fuck justh appened?"

Calder was walking behind his husband and burst into giggles at the sight. He did try to help, but they bit him! The blond was leaning against the counter and holding his middle as he laughed at his husband, thoroughly amused by the scene. "I think... I think you were just adopted!" That caused another round of giggles from Calder, this time with tears leaking out of the corners of his eyes.

Rune turned to glare at the man, grumbling a little bit more. "Shut it!" He hissed then turned back to Relic and soon turned to look down at the children, attempting to pull one off his leg, only to have the boy cling to his neck, gripping him like a necklace. "Dear lords.." he grumbled and turned to Relic who was already rolling on the ground and laughing hysterically.

Romulus giggled, holding his mouth gently. "U..Uncle rune... I don't think... I don't think they will leave you."

Remus joined in the laughing, unable to help himself. The scene was adorable, and his uncle was fuming which just made it even more comical. "We haven't named them yet. We'll send you their clothes and stuff when we get home." The brunette giggled a little more and then turned to make something to eat just as Calder moved up beside Rune.

The blond pecked his husband's cheek and reached out to stroke the ear of the little one that was holding onto Rune's neck. "You know that we're not getting out of this one, right?" he asked, still amused that it was Rune they had attached themselves to. "And that we'll be lucky to get them to let go long enough to be fed, bathed and changed?" Calder kissed him once more. "Or so we can have sex..." Grinning, clearly amused with himself, the blond stepped away quickly to help Remus.

Rune glared at his husband, huffing a few times as he did so. He looked down at the six who were just peering up at him. He rolled his eyes then turned to look at hte other. "Good. because with our luck, we'll wind up getting pregnant with eight kids each." He grumbled and looked down at the children once more. "Let Papa take some of you. I can't bloody walk with you clinging." He took the one from his neck and set him on Calder's side then did that same with the other two on his legs, then adjusted the three on his upper torso. "Come on."

"Stop it!" Kiah whined softly and batted at the man's hand which kept reaching up and tugging sharply on his sensitive ears. He was the smallest of his brothers, and (lucky him) none of them were currently around. The man who was following him often followed them, but tended to leave them alone if they were all together. Today, though, his brothers had to stay after school and that left an impatient Kiah to walk home by himself. So now the man had taken his chance and come right up next to him and began to promptly torture him. His ears and tail were pulled, his hair was tugged, his clothes and ears and tail were all made fun of, as was his slight overbite.

Softly, he began crying as he walked faster, though it did no good, really, since the man's legs were longer.

Rune was walking to pick up Kiah. No reason to make his little one walk home alone. Of course he loved the babies. How could he not? He always melted for them, and these were no different. He knew the others would be all right together, but the little one walking alone was not going to happen. Especially when he saw that someone was not only following his baby, but teasing him. Oooh. Rune was NOT having that.

Reaching forward, his hand wrapped around the man's neck, lifting him up from the ground. "What exactly are you doing?" He hissed, glaring at him and growling a little more as he waited for an answer.

"MAMA!" Anyone could see Rune coming from a mile away, but Kiah had developed a very keen eye for his mama and always tended to see him before any of his brothers did. The small bunny boy ran up to his mother and hugged his leg tightly, burying his face into his hip to hide his red cheeks and teary eyes. Also, when his mama was mad, it scared him. But Kiah noted that he didn't hear the man answer his mama's question, which he knew would make his mama even more angry and so the small white blond hugged his leg tighter, crying a little bit again.

Rune's other hand rested on his son's head, trying to calm him a little bit. He was not oblivious to his son, just pissed at the man in front of him. He rubbed the boy's head a little more. "Close your ears, honey." He said simply then turned to the man once more. "You've been bothering my little baby for a while now. I'm so happy we could finally meet." He smiled and his hand clenched the other's neck tighter. "Do not touch my children. Do not come near them. I do not take kindly to creeps." He then threw the man away and moved to crouch in front of Kiah. "Are you okay, sweetie?"

He followed his mama's instructions and pulled his ears down low and then put his hands on top of them until he felt Rune lean down to him. Looking up, Kiah let his ears go slowly and nodded a little with a soft sniff. "Mama am I really half beaver?" he asked softly, lowering his head so that he didn't have to see the answer in his mama's eyes. It must be true, right? Why else did his teeth stick out a little further than his brothers'?

"Half beaver?" He repeated and shook his head a little bit. 'Not at all. You're a growing boy honey." He cupped his chin to look at his teeth, smiling warmly. "When you get a little older, Mama will take you to an orthodontist and they will help your teeth. If you don't grow out of it first." He stated, pecking his lips then pulling back. "All right honey?" He smiled as he stood up and held his hands out to him. "How about just you and me go for some ice cream? Or whatever you want. Daddy can take care of your brothers for the night."

"ICE CREAM!" Sweets were a weakness of his, and the mention of them could take his mind off of anything faster than even the promise of a toy (which he also loved). Kiah looked up at his mama and smiled brightly, taking Rune's little finger in his hand (that was still all he could manage to grab a hold of with his tiny hands) and began to walk with his mama.

Rune smiled. "You definitely are my son." He stated and smiled a little more. He trailed his thumb along the boy's hand and leaned over to kiss his head as well. "Are you going to get chocolate with me?" He asked and smiled a little more. He really loved his children so much. He honestly was putty for them to play with how they want.

He nodded a little as they walked. "Hot fudge!" A double chocolate hot fudge sundae with extra whipped cream and cherries was his very favorite treat and Kiah knew that if he gave a good pout with a lot of lip, his mama would usually give in and allow him to have it. Today would probably be extra easy, too! "Can I Mama? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease? Mama my ear still hurts." Kiah gave a little pout for accent.

Rune looked down at the boy, smiling warmly and shaking his head a few times. "Save the pout for later. You can. Just don't tell Daddy. He gets so cranky when I spoil you." He smiled and soon opened the door for his son and soon followed him inside. "All right. Double chocolate fudge?"

"Why does Daddy get mad, Mama?"

It was now question and answer round, so far as Kiah was concerned. He liked asking questions, especially of his Mama. The little bunny nodded to the question of what he wanted. "With THREE cherries, Mama! and double whipped cream! PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEASE?!" He tugged on his mother's hand a little and gave him his best wide, innocent doe eyes that he could muster.

Rune smiled and turned to the woman behind the counter. "You heard him." He stated and then held up two fingers. "Make that two sundaes." he then looked down at him and shrugged. "Daddy gets mad because it spoils the dinner he puts so much work into. And he thinks it shows favortism." He grinned and took the sundaes, paying, then leading the way to the table to sit.

"I'm your favorite?!" he gasped softly as they sat. Of everything that his mama had just said, that was what he grasped onto. And Kiah was going to hold tight to it, too. In all the chaos of having six siblings exactly the same age but who were bigger than you, Kiah sometimes felt that he got a little lost in the shuffle. So to think that he was his mama's favorite pleased him to no end. He had picked up a cherry now and was sucking the whipped cream off of it (and his fingers) while looking at Rune for confirmation.

Looking down at the other, he smiled warmly. "Shh. Don't tell your Daddy." He stated, forefinger resting on his lips before he smiled some more. "I love your other brothers, don't ever think I do not, but ... you're my little Kiah." He smiled a little more, eyes staying with the boy. "You're like Mama. How could I not have you as my favorite?"

Kiah's eyes lit up further as he scrambled from his chair and threw his arms around his mama's middle, squeezing him tight. "Can I tell my brothers?" he asked seriously, looking up with hope in his eyes. While having secrets with his parents was fun, sometimes it was more fun to have something to torture his brothers with when they tortured him. "When they're mean to me?"

"No no." He smiled warmly and leaned down to kiss his forehead. Rune smiled a little more, hoisting him up and onto the chair beside him. "When they're mean to you, you can come running to me and know that I'll help you and be on your side." He grinned. "It's much more fun to keep it secret."

"Awwww okay." Kiah nodded and hugged Rune once more before climbing back up into his chair to eat his sundae before it melted. "Mama can this be my dinner tonight?" The blond eyed the ice cream and knew that he wouldn't be able to eat any sort of dinner after he finished this. And ice cream was so much better than asparagus anyway! "I promise I won't tell Papa!"

"No. You will eat whatever Daddy gives you, if even a bite." He smiled and kissed his forehead before settling back down.

A couple days later, Rune opened the door and froze. His eyes were wide as he stared at the boy that was looking up at him. Bright brow eyes staring right into his and the man was just trying to see why there was a ten-year-old in front of him. "CALDER!" He called to the house before back to the confused boy who was beginning to tear up. "CALDER!"

Sighing, the blond wiped his hands on the hand towel that he kept on his shoulder and pushed the sauce off of the heat before walking through to the front door. "What? Who's dying? Where are the kid--s... Who's that?" He cocked his head to the side a little and studied the little boy for a second. The tears were noticed and the blond was quick to step back and allow the child inside. "What's your name, sweetheart? Are you okay?"
