Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Uriel soon came into the house, walking over to the others. "Raphael and Caden are working on getting the kids out, but it would be a lot of help to have some scarier people to make sure they don't get trampled!" He grumbled a little bit, fingers pushing through his hair and he sighed softly. "Everyone read the papers and the kids were in a panic, but it seems to be okay... Okay, not great."

Nikkos rolled his eyes but thanked Uriel for the information. "I suggest coming to get whatever you have out of the school. We'll house who we can around the city in the various properties we have, but I doubt it will hold for long. Everyone knows our family, and I don't doubt that we all have the biggest targets painted on our backs." With a deep breath, the brunette let his ideas flow out.

"We'll need safe houses and supplies-people who are not magical who are sympathetic. If we can quickly acquire more jets to help parents ship their kids-and themselves-out to Atlantis and Australia within the next twenty four hours, it will do a world of good at Prometheus. Sooner or later we'll need doctors and medical supplies so someone should get a hold of Jupiter."

He looked to Rune and Relic and Tomias, "And we're going to need cash. I don't think it will take long for them to freeze at least some assets." He knew that, in a way, he was over reacting but no one knew how long this asshole would be in power and if they didn't prepare now, they would never have the chance to. Nikkos sighed and kissed his husband once more. "I'll be back."

Rune nodded, shooing Uriel off to go let everyone know there would be safe houses and tht there would be flights, and everything else of that sort. He stood up and began to pace around the room, biting the corner of his nail as he did so. "I can easily get the money out. I have more than enough which can be turned to cash. If that doesn't work, I have a few ... others that can be accessed." He cleared his throat and continued onward. "I'll tell Liam to send Jupiter back on the jet, as well as any other doctors he can bring" He nodded while continuing around the room, hating this whole situation right now.

Calder watched Nikkos go out the door and then nodded. They needed to get their asses going, not sit and wait. "Get what cash you can and stash it. All over...but no where around here. Get Jupiter into Italy and send the jet out again-get the boys to stock Avalon, just in case. And sign accounts over to Romulus, Remus, Pierce and Gideon. They're no longer citizens so once the accounts are in their names, they can't be touched. Whatever is in our names-it all goes to them, and Sergei and Gabriel."

Leaning up, Zealand spoke, but softly. "My...my mom. I can convince her to help. We have properties...safe houses."

Rune paused, turning to look at Zealand and arching a brow at his words. "Um... I'm sure we made enemies with the woman who abandoned her child on an abandoned island because he had powers." He stared at him a little more and then shook his head. "If you believe she can be of help, and that she will not just out all the houses, then call her. Any help will be very needed."

"No," he answered. "No she was grateful that you took Elly...and me. She... Dad was a little crazy and that made her crazy. She'll be okay." The brunette was sure of it. Besides, parents didn't stop caring about their kids after they were given up for adoption, and to his mother that was exactly what had happened with Elly. Okay, so maybe she was still a little delusional. But she would still help. "She's connected," he added, standing and going for his phone. "I'm sure that with a little prodding around we can find a vast system of support in her friends and colleagues."

Rune nodded. "If you're positive, I will gladly use the help." He stated, pushing fingers through his hair once more while moving around again. "I'm sure that there will also be others helping those with powers. For the future, we will need to contact them. Or rather, we should." He nodded and then looked around at everyone, smiling. "And hey! We have powers! WE're already better off than them."

Calder nodded, knowing that his husband was right. "We need to turn him." He pointed at Zealand. "And no one can know about it. If we don't, and they go after him, he'll have no protection. At least the powers that come with it aren't visibly noticeable, which will make him appear like nothing has changed to anyone on the outside." Until they tried to kill him. They'd likely notice how difficult it will be to off Zealand.

Lucifer gasped and ran toward Zealand, taking his hand and shaking his head "NO!" He protested, gripping him tighter. "I like him normal! and human. I like him like this" He gripped the man's hand tighter, heart racing, mind whirling. He realized it would be better and safer for him to be turned, but that did not change the fact he did not want it to happen!

Zealand was torn. He felt the same way Lucifer did: He knew it would be an advantage but that didn't make him want to do it. "I think... I think that will be a last resort. I understand. We both do." The brunette pulled his husband close to him, comforting him. "But we're making these preparations just in case, and they can all be undone. That can't be, and what if this all blows over in a month? Then I'm stuck; our lives changed even if it seems insignificant to you because you were changed so long ago." He shook his head. "If it gets too heated, then we'll do it. But not until we have to."

Lucifer relaxed. he liked that a lot better. He leaned up and kissed his lips before turning to the others with a sigh. He nodded and then began to walk around the room, much like his Mama. "Now, what are we going to do? Just stay low for a while, prep an attack ... What?"

Rune shook his head. "Lay low, yes. but out of this house. If Zea's mother helps, then we can use one of htose houses. But we also have others that we should go to. change the names on the contracts to be sure no one will find us. Any kid at Prometheus without a place to go, they come with us. Anyone who is able and willing to fight with us, they're welcome as well. More so as backup."

Tanner stood for the first time. "We need to split up. Some of us take the kids, and some of us fight. They need to be kept safe, and away from the ugliness that's heading our way." And the more groups they split up into, the harder it would be to find them. Of course, that would depend on how many safe houses they had access to.

Nodding, Calder looked to Lucifer and Zealand. "I think you should take some of the kids. You don't want to turn Zealand, and that's your best bet to not have to."

Rune shook his head a few times. "I agree with that, but not together. Not us" he held up his ring hand and wiggled his finger "Together. They know who we're paired with, that can easily be looked up, so I don't want them to put some bolo out or whatever the hell that shit is Looking for some tall brunette with a blond." He bit his bottom lip a little bit while beginning to pace around a little bit more. "Or does that sound too crazy? Too picky... I just don't want them to be able to find us easier."

"We're targets. They know we're all family and they're going to try to go after us first to knock us out. We're big, and ninety percent of us are immortal, or close to it. It doesn't matter who we pair with, they're going to find us." Rune's words, though, made Calder wish more of them were morphes like he was.

"I'll be the hardest for them to get if I distance myself, though. They know I can morph, but unless I choose to drop the changes, they can't prove who I am." He hated suggesting what he was, but it was the truth. "You can make it look like I went with the kids. And I'll help Zealand's mother as a non-magical. We know the governmental ropes. Maybe I can get in somehow."

Rune nodded. "I like that idea." He informed him, tapping his fingertips against his chin while he thought.

"Um. I'm a morph." Luci stated, looking at his parents before he bit his bottom lip a little bit. "So ... I can go with Zee and the kids. I can change into something new and then he'd have someone with him that could change apperances when need be."

Eyes a little wider, Calder turned to them. "Divorce." Zealand's mouth dropped open and he was about to argue, but the blond cut him off. "It will put both of you in a better position. It gives Lucy a reason to 'leave', and it will explain why you're consistently seen with another man. Or woman. And, when we need it, it will provide background for you to break up with your sweetheart when things get tough and 'switch sides'." Zealand looked skeptically at his husband and father-in-law.

Lucifer stared at his father, about to protest so much more, but he could not deny it: That was a good idea. "And if we have the reason be that I'm a magical whatever, then that would make him look better." he murmured, biting his bottom lip and turning to look at the man before taking in a deep breath. "And ... after alll this is over... I'm getting a new and better wedding." He added, nodding. "I still have a dress I wanted to wear, so it's useful."

While Zealand knew that they would all have to make sacrifices, this one scared the brunette. Without the protections that marriage offered them, if something happened to either of them before this was all over... But Calder was right, and he knew that everyone else knew it, too. He kissed his husband, shaking slightly. "Soon. We'll drag it out, publicly. Affairs, arguments...everything." They needed it to be believable if they didn't want anyone digging deeper than the surface.

A couple weeks passed, and everything was set up. The houses The kids were all safe. The divorce was quite public, especially since it was shown as an example of why they should not marry magical being et cetera. Lucifer was currently parading as a busty redhead, happy to go out and about and get the supplies for the kids they were hiding in the basement. Basically. The basement was quite furnished and gorgeous, but that was behind a lot of hidden doors.

Rune was grumbling and just hating everything. He really did. this was positively annoying and he wanted to just murder someone. Little did he know, that he was actually being followed. He had not been thinking about that. He had just been so worked up about everything that he did not think to read the minds of those around him.

This was is chance. Calder hadn't seen or spoken to his husband in what felt like forever. He missed Rune, but wouldn't risk anything. He needed to get inside of the politics and to do that he had to distance himself from his family. But it had become too much, and the blond had hidden away to morph into his current physical state: a very large, very bulky, very threatening man who was stalking his husband. He easily caught up with Rune and wrapped his arms around his waist, throwing the man into the alley as they passed and pressing his larger body up against the other's. "I swear to god if you hit me right now, you're never getting sex again."

Rune really was about to not only hit but beat the bloody shit out of the man when the voice suddenly clicked. His eyes went wide and he leaped onto the taller man, gripping him tighter. "you know you can never deny me for more than a week." He whispered, arms wrapping around his shoulders and he bit his bottom lip. "Can't you make something ... more appealing of yourself?" he murmured, refusing to kiss him as he was, though it was quite fun to actually be attached to him like this.

He glared at Rune and disentangled them. "If you don't get off of me and we're seen, I don't want to see the results." But Calder stuck his tongue out at his husband anyway. "I'm renting an apartment not far from the government buildings. Just. Follow my lead and then I'll morph into whoever you want me to." The blond took a hold of his lover's arm, making it look like he had a much tighter grip than he really did and lead Rune down the street for about a block. He steered them into a grungy looking building and then up four flights of stairs before unlocking a tiny apartment and 'pushing' the man inside. Only when the door was closed and triple locked behind him did Calder drop all morphs so that he could look like himself again.

Rune crabbed the whole way there, grumbling and mumbling about how this was such bull shit and whatever else. Not loud enough to get attention, but enough to look like he was not happy about this whole situation. For anyone just looking it would look like he was pissed about this whole ordeal. But, the moment that the door closed and the morph dropped, Rune was tackling his lover to the ground. Their lips pressed together as he bucked into him. "After tonight .. it's going to look like you were beaten up." He whispered, lips heatedly colliding with the man's before moving down and along the other's neck. "Or at the very least, sound like you were."

Groaning, Calder returned the kisses, gripping onto his lover with all of his strength. He'd been prepared for Rune's assault, but they still wound up on the floor, and for the moment Calder was fine with that. His hands touched everywhere they could reach, slipping under Rune's shirt and down the back of his pants, desperate to contact the other man's flesh.

Rune could not get enough of this man. The clothes were quickly torn off, even his own, and he pressed closer into him. Groaning at the feeling and trying to get the most out of this, inevitably, short encounter. He bit into the crook of his neck, grinding into him a little bit more. "I ... have missed you ... so much." He breathed, grinding into him a little bit more.
