Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Nodding, Maksim guided Raphael out the back door to the car. "After we get settled in the hotel." The Russian put the suitcase into the trunk, along with the first aid kit, and sped out towards the center of the city once they were both safely inside of the car. It took them very little time to get checked in, and Maksim made sure that the security latches were engaged before entering the suite fully. He finally breathed a sigh of relief as he sat on one of the sofas. "Are you alright?"

Following into the room, he paused instantly. Eyes traveling along everything and he slowly walked to the balcony. Looking out at over everything, he was quite distracted while he did so until hearing his voice. He turned and then walked back to the man. He leaned down and kissed his lips. "I'm fine." he whispered and then straightened up once more. "I could sleep though."

Sleep sounded perfect, now that it had been mentioned. But there were still a few things to do yet. "You should call your family first. They will want to know." Maksim squeezed Raphael's shoulder as he passed him. "I'm going to shower. And do not go to bed until I'm done! I want to look at those wounds."

He groaned and nodded. "Fine." he mumbled, walking past him to the telephone. He sat down, pulling his knees to his chest and dialing up his brother. He smiled "Good news" He assured but then added "Also bad news." He leaned back into the chair while toying wit hthe hole in the knee of his jeans. "You two should not be bothered again, but the bad news, is that the three of you will have to move. Maksim will provide the house and we are going to get everything out of hteh ouse that is not ... tainted ... but Sergei would be miserable in the house if we were to let you guys move back in. And they know of the house too, so Yay! I will look for something as nice and comfortable-cozy as you guys just had. I promise. And if you hate it, then I'll rebuild you one myself." He nodded a few times to hte man on the other end and soon said his good-byes and hung up. Now to wait for the man before he could go to bed.

The Russian took his time in the shower, sighing as the hot water washed away the grime and gore of the day's events. It was nearly fifteen minutes later that Maksim stepped out of the bathroom with just a towel wrapped around his waist. He looked over at Raphael and shook his head a little, moving over to stand next to him. "Stand. Shirt off, too."

"Yes, sir." He said softly, standing up and then pulling the shirt from his form. He placed that onto the chair he had just been in. The cuts were not bad. They stung, but most were just there and bad scabs by now. Nothing was still bleeding and it made quite hte strange pattern from his neck ti the middle of his chest and then from his chest to his shoulder from when he jumped out of the way.

He reached out and ran his finger tips over the wounds lightly. Maksim reached for the first aid kit and added a bit of neosporin to them, knowing how the Russian mafia operated with their blades. He wasn't taking any chances. "You must be more diligent," he lectured, though his voice was soft. "My homes are safe because I've gone to great lengths to make them so. Anywhere else, though..." He shook his head and paused for a moment before speaking again. "You must learn the sound of my presence, my walk, my breathing. It will save you from another situation like today."

Raphael rolled his eyes. "I already know the sound of your footsteps and breathing. That doesn't do shit when you run and he just throws a knife into your leg." With that, he pushed down his jeans, showing that his thigh was wrapped up in bandages and only a little bit of blood was on the bandages. "Suppose you want to neosporin that too." He sighed softly, sitting back down and beginning to undo the bandages, figuring that he was right about it. "And I'm sorry I couldn't defend myself or warn you. I'm not a fighter by any means."

Maksim was shocked with the leg injury and he knelt next to the other to examine it. His head snapped up, though, with the words. "My concern is more that you are unable to defend yourself rather than warn me. We will work on that." The fact that the wound was still bleeding concerned him, and Maksim soaked a cotton ball in peroxide, apologizing before pressing it to the wound. "If it's still open tomorrow, we'll go see a doctor about it."

Raphael looked over at the male, eyes traveling over his form and he nodded. "It should be okay." He said simply and then winced at the peroxide on his wound. He took in a deep breath, relaxing a little bit once it eventually stopped. "okay." He shrugged his shoulders a little bit. "When we get back home we can teach me to defend myself or something." He never really had to worry about anyone sneaking up on him before. Messing with him and then trying to punch him in the face, yea, but not being sneaked up on.

"We will." Maksim dressed the wound with clean bandages, being sure to not hurt Raphael in the process. When the wound was taken care of, the Russian stood and moved over to the suitcase to pull out a pair of sleep pants. He pulled them on and moved over to the bed, turning the light out on the way. "Get some sleep. Tomorrow will be a long day."

Raphael sighed softly and he then stood up with a little sigh. He rubbed his thigh a bit before he shrugged. "Thank you." He kissed his lips softly and then moved onto the bed. He slid beneath the sheets, sinking into the covers. "Good night." he mumbled with a yawn.

The morning found Maksim wrapped tightly around Raphael, his nose buried into the back of the vampire's neck. The Russian groaned softly as he slipped back into consciousness, nuzzling the warm and soft smelling skin that was in front of him. If the previous day hadn't been so traumatic, he'd have considered turning himself into Yulian just to screw with Raphael, but Maks knew it wasn't fair to mentally torture him any more than he already had been.

It was a couple weeks later and Gabriel, Sergei, and his little brother were back in their home, and Raphael was back into his. He moved through the house, pushing off his shoes and sighing happily. He moved through the house and curled up into the couch cushions. Sighing contently, he nuzzled into the cushions, smiling a little more. "Mm... Perfect." He whispered, definitely having missed this place. It was so much better to be back home.

Maksim was glad to be home as well. He felt like he could finally keep Raphael safe once more, though he wasn't sure when that had become such a strong priority for him. Did it matter? He shook his head at Raphael's actions and retreated to his room. He needed time to think and assess. Technically, the sanctuary of this home had been broken, even if for a good cause, and his next step needed to be planned.

Raphael slowly stood up and followed the other to where he was. His arms slid around his form and he hugged him with a soft smile to his lips. Leaning forward, he kissed the side of his neck and then rested his chin onto his shoulder. "Wanna go relax?" he murmured, fingers slipped along the other's form to his pants, tugging at the fabric. "You look too stressed than you should be.

He removed Raphael's arms from around him gently and took a full step back. "Go find something to do." His voice was gentle but the instructions were clear: he wanted to be alone, stressed or not. He had too much to figure out. "Start dinner," he suggested, even though it was only four in the afternoon. He handed Raphael a credit card. "Go to the store. I'm sure there's nothing in the house that's edible after a week away."

Uriel was currently cuddling up with Caden beside him. his arm around his hips and his head rested upon his head and he remained silent for a while. Keeping his eyes in front of him to the television and he turned to look down at the male, leaning away a little bit to do so. He then turned off the television and pulled away. "Caden .... Do you still love me?"

The blond stretched lithely as the television was turned off, but stopped mid stretch at the words. They were a surprise, but not really in the way someone might have thought. Caden had been playing with the idea of love and Uriel for quite a few weeks, but was unsure of how he felt, really. The blond turned on his back, head still in his lover's lap so that he was looking up at him. "Yes? But...but not in the same way I don't think." He cared greatly for Uriel, and he likely always would, but something inside of his heart had shifted, he just wasn't sure what. He said so.

"Oh thank the gods." He leaned down and kissed his forehead. Leaning back, Uriel looked down at him and smiled warmly. "I love you in so many ways, Caden, but not like I had. I do care for you still.. and want you happy. And while I love having sex with you, it has sort of felt more like friends with benefits recently, you know?" He shook his head a little bit and then leaned down to kiss his forehead once more. "Caden, will you do me the honor of being my best friend again?"

He smiled up at the man and shrugged. "Only if you promise to still live here?" He hated being alone, really. And there was always the second bedroom anyway. Or they could continue with the friends with benefits idea... The sex really was wonderful, after all... Caden sat up and kissed the other man's lips softly. "Please? I like you here." Uriel's presence made Caden feel safe.

Uriel grinned. "I'll stay until you kcik my ass out. Besides ... I sold my house." He shrugged and then kissed his lips with a chuckle. "Do you still want my sexy body?" he teased, hands sliding over his hips and he pulled him to his form with a chuckle. "I do so love the sex. And once you find someone that you like once more, just tell me to find a place, and I will. Or can get a different room in this place. I am sure that any man you wind up dating will not really prefer you living with your ex."

He purred, rolling his hips forward playfully. "Don't care what they prefer," he noted with a shrug. "As far as I'm concerned, I'm living with my best friend. What we do behind closed doors while both of us are single isn't anyone's business." Caden rolled his hips again, grinning suggestively.

Uriel smirked. "We are two adults, after all." He stated, taking a hold of his hips and flipping their forms to pin the other onto the couch cushions. He leaned up and pressed their lips together once more, sighing softly. His eyes slipped closed and he slipped his fingers up the other's shirt with a grin. "I do so enjoy our adult activities."

Caden arched into the touches, returning the kiss as his arms slid around Uriel's neck. "Mmm me too." The vampire grinned up at the other man and slid his own hands up the front of his shirt, fingers tweaking his nipples a bit. "It really would be a shame for those talents to go to waste just because we're not dating..."
