Welcome to Atlantis Academy! (Lia && Chokuro)

Before the other could step past the couch, the teen reached out and took a hold of the back of his shirt. Yanking him back to the couch, he sighed. "Uncle Tanner and Relic will not be home until late. I believe they were going to dinner." He looked over at him for a moment before he slid his thumbnail along his wrist and put the bleeding limb in front of his nose. "Here. If you don't drink it, it's going to waste, and you're a lot better when not hungry."

Caden stumbled backward again, and just barely caught himself on the table. Only after he'd steadied himself did the blond shake the cobwebs out of his head and realize what was being offered to him. He was going to deny the offer-it was too intimate to drink someone else's blood. But the boy (damn him!) was right. With a little whine and another two seconds of contemplation, the blond pulled the wrist to his lips and sucked a bit too greedily. He had to force himself to pull back, not used to having to as Tanner could replenish his own blood. It only took a few seconds for Caden to start feeling better. "Thank you," he murmured after he started to feel better.

Watching the other drink his blood, he remained silent and still. He would have stopped him if he had to. He slowly pulled his wrist back when the other was done, he looked down at his wrist. He licked his thumb and trailed it over the wound, having it seal up and he then rested his arm back down. "You're welcome. You already look so much better." He stated, smiling warmly as he looked up at him.

"I feel better," he admitted. The blond bent and kissed the male's cheek softly. "Thank you." Caden chuckled at the healing. "You really are meant to be your mother's kid." Only Rune would find a kid on the streets who shared his powers and abilities. "Are you sure you're not part his?"

He thought for a moment before he nodded at the question. "Yes. My biological parents were far too prude." He laughed lightly while going back to the books. He moved the page over and sunk against the couch a little bit more. "And I regenerate by magic, not genetics." He informed him before looking up at him with a brow raised in question. "You look a lot nicer when you are not angry and upset."

Sitting back in one of the comfortable chairs that sat in their living room, Nikkos sighed contently. He was happy. He'd been happy for many years now, and it was amazing to think about, really. Before Tomias had entered his life, Nikkos hadn't thought that he could be happy again. But that was a long time ago. Shaking his head, the brunette turned his attention to the book he'd chosen to read. Opening the cover, his brows furrowed. There was an inscription scribbled to Tomias, and signed "with love". But he'd never heard of a Jeremiah before. Standing up, and taking the book with him, Nikkos searched the house until he found his husband.

"Who is Jeremiah?" No point beating around the bush. He wanted to know.

Tomias perked up when he heard his lover. Turning to look at him, brow arching in question as he stared at teh other. "Jere-- ooh." He stared at the book for a moment before clearing his throat and shaking his head a little bit. "I ... dated him." He mumbled, eyes instantly fluttering back to the pages that he was grading. Red pen in his hand tapping against the table while he hoped that would be good enough.

"I gathered." Nikkos' voice was flat. Tomias' tone told him that he was hiding something, and that put him on edge. "When? You never mentioned him. Dated? Or slept with?" He wanted his questions answered, and he wanted them answered now. And he saw that the other man was trying to distract himself. Nikkos reached over the desk and took the pen and papers out from in front of Tomias, looking at him hard until he answered.

Tomias groaned. Damn. How many years later and this was happening? He slowly turned to lookat him, eyes looking through his thick lashes and staring for a moment or two. He took in a deep breath, straightening his form and he cleared his throat a little ."While I was attempting to woo you... More so during out just-friends period I suppose... and uh... Never had sex!" He grinned at that bit, and before the other set him on fire, he added: "We only had ...oral sex." God it soudned weird to say that outloud! ugh.

His eyes flared. Anger was the first emotion to hit, but there were (many) others behind that one: hurt, betrayal, jealousy, rage, sadness... Nikkos crumpled the papers that were in his hand and, literally, threw the book that was in the other at his husband's head. The papers and pen dropped and Nikkos spun around too fast to see if the book had hit his mark (because, in all honesty, he had been aiming), in a rush to be out of Tomias' presence...and the house. He had to go...somewhere. It didn't matter where and, for the first time since meeting Tomias, Nikkos was glad of his wealth. It would allow him to stay at a hotel for any amount of time until he became somewhat rational again. Or until Tomias died. Whichever happened to come first.

Tomias went wide-eyed as the spine of the book connected with the middle of his face. He fell to the side, hands holding his face as the pain took over. He watched the other leave and gasped. Pushing his form up, he instantly was running out, face red in the shape of the book, while he ran after the other. He quickly snatched up Nikkos' hand, yanking him back to his form. "you hated me back then!" He stated, moving in front of him and stopping him from going anywhere. "I was not going to deny him for a date! We only went out for about two weeks... Or three? I cna't remember! I don't care." he whimpered and fell to his knees. Arms wrapping tightly around the other's form. He pulled him tightly, face pressing into his stomach. "Don't leave! I love you Nikkos. YOU!"

He wretched his arm away from his husband, and stepped away as best he could when Tomias attempted to wrap his arms around him. "You lied to me! And don't you dare tell me that you didn't tell me because that's still lying!" He began to walk off again, unaffected by the sight of Tomias on his knees and clearly distressed about his reaction. "I don't care that you dated him-and now that I know about him I know there were probably scores of others-but I care that you lied about it, and that I don't know what else you've lied about over the years!" The last was called from over the banister as Nikkos climbed the stairs to their bedroom to pack some clothes.

"nooo!!!" he rushed after the other and soon fell to his feet, arms wrapping around his ankles, gripping his limbs tightly. "It's not that I didn't tell you or forgot to but ... when it mattered, I forgot about them! I wasn't going to tell you 'hey! Guess who blew me last night?' when I was just getting to know you!" He whimpered and gripped him a little tighter, not caring how pathetic he looked at the moment. "Yes. I didn't tell you1 and when we were together I didn't tell you but ... I honestly forgot until five minutes ago. Please don't leave me." He whimpered pathetically and pressed his face into his ankle.

Sighing, Nikkos shook his leg free of Tomias' grip and began to throw a few things into the overnight bag he'd pulled from the closet. "I didn't need the gory details, Tomias. But the knowledge that you were dating other men... I did need that." He kept his voice tight, and his emotions clamped down tightly. "I was so broken, and I needed more than just someone to bring me breakfast and show interest. And I thought you were giving that to me. Clearly I was wrong." Nikkos tossed his toothbrush on top of everything else in the bag and zipped it. "If you want to keep your balls, I'd suggest not contacting me until I'm ready." He wanted to tell Tomias that he did love him. But he was too hurt, and he wanted Tomias to hurt, too.

Tomias blinked a few times. "Wha-- but but. ..." he whimpered and wrapped his whole body around the other's side. Arms around his hips and legs around his lover's ankles. "but no! Sweetie... We've been together for... for ... for Centuries! I haven't lied to you about anything! well... Maybe your shoes, but that's just because they're shoes! No one cares about shoes. Don't leave! Please don't leave!" He whimpered even more and buried his face into the other's thigh.

"Twenty minutes ago, I'd have believed you." Once again, Nikkos extracted himself from his husband's grip and this time he left, unsure of how else Tomias would attempt to restrain him and not having the energy to really continue to fight. He considered adding insult to injury by taking Tomias' car, but he didn't. What would it solve anyway?

Nikkos drove to a local (five star...) hotel. He booked a suite for one night, telling himself it was because he deserved to be pampered tonight, if not by his husband than by someone. He would go to a more moderately priced hotel tomorrow.

Tomias ran off down the street and soon ran to Rune and Calder's place. Finding the blond and leaping at him with a sob. "MY HUSBAND HATES ME!" he whimpered, gripping the other and burying his face into the slightly-shorter male's neck, sobbing a little bit more into his neck. His eyes stained with tears and he hugged him tighter. "he hates me!"

Calder yelped and nearly fell when Tomias launched himself at him. "Uhh... RUNE!" His husband would be able to knock some sense into his brother. In the mean time...

"Stop babbling!" Calder moved away and untwined Tomias' arms and legs from him, stepping away. "You're not making sense and you look like a damn fool." The blond huffed. "Start from the beginning."

Tomias fell to the ground, looking up at the other like a little kid right now. He took in a deep breath to calm down a little and stop from sobbing once more. "Calder. Today ... he found a book that an ex gave me. And I was dating him while I was wooing Nikkos ...And now he's pissed because I didn't tell him about the few that I dated while I was getting to know him!" he whimpered, knees pulling to his chest as he buried his face into his knees." And now he hates me!"

Before Tomias spoke, Calder had been ready and willing to have sympathy for him. But as the words spilled from his lips, Calder's mouth began to set in a firm line. "Then you deserve it," he stated simply with a shrug. He had known Nikkos for a long time-longer than Tomias or Rune or even Tanner and he knew that the man wouldn't have gotten so upset over something that wasn't important to him. "You should have known better."

"Eh?" Tomias squeaked and looked up at him pathetically. "How was I to know! I wasn't thinking about telling the guy I liked that I was still dating others! Gee. THATS a way to get him to like me. 'Hey! nikkos. I know I'm breaking my balls to impress you, but speaking of that ... guess who was sucking on them last night!'... Yeah. No!" He grumbled, flopping to the side as he looked up at him, brows creasing together as he did so. "How should I have handled that, hm?"

Calder rolled his eyes. "You're so damn short sighted!" Shaking his head he reached down and pulled his brother-in-law to his feet. "How about 'Hey I really like you, and it's really you that I want a relationship with, so I'm going to be really honest and tell you that I'm still dating other people. And I'll stop the second you ask me to.'? I'm sure Nikkos didn't tell you that he wanted to know who had their mouths around your prick, Tomias."

Tomias listened to the otehr and sighed heavily. "Damn! I hate it when I'm retarded." he bit the corner of his nail, pacing a while before turning on his heel and taking a hold of the other's hands, gripping them tightly. "Go check up on him? Please. I am not making you be a mediator ... Just go check up that he isn't breaking down or ... whatever else he could do to himself. I don't want him to revert back." He kissed the other's knuckles, looking down at him pathetically. "Please? not for me. For him."

"The correct answer would be: I want you to check up on him for him but it's for me too, Calder." He pulled his hand away from the other man and huffed out a bit of annoyance. "Go annoy your brother. He misses you." Sure, the last was likely a lie that he would pay for, but Calder had a friend to check up on-which he would have done whether or not Tomias had asked him to. "And you'll be really, really lucky if he doesn't revert back to how he was to some extent." The warning was given simply because he didn't want Tomias to whine about Nikkos being so closed off on top of his whining that it affected him negatively.

"NO! DON'T SAY THAT!" he whimpered, fingers pushing through his hair as he took in quite the many deep breaths to stop from hyperventilating. "and yes! I want you to check up on him for me too but ... but he hates me...." he whimpered and then ran off to go sob into Rune's lap. Not caring whether or not the man wanted him there. He was crumbling and just falling apart right now.
