Leah nodded as she walked with him noticing his reactions to her blatant vocal banter. Sure she felt she may be pushing it with the new freedom but she was nearly locked under key with looming threat of being forcibly raped. It wasn't something she wanted at the moment as she wanted to give it to somebody and not just anybody, or at least she thought considering she was a bit of a romantic. Due to her parents however, she had lost a great deal of that passion so who knows what she truly felt anymore. Maybe she would have liked it, maybe she would have been scarred for her the rest of her life. It was pointless to think about this considering her young 15 years of age at times she was forced to grow up a little more than she was. "Alright, that shouldn't be too hard...father." She practiced it out which was kind of hard now that she thought about it as the terrain got easier and easier to walk on. It was such a good thing too, she was tired of that mountain ridge.
"Ah, sorry, Dad I didn't mean to go on about that man. He isn't important okay? My life? It wasn't that great and honestly, it would bore you to tears! Don't worry about it..." Leah was deliberately sidestepping his questions about her previous life. She didn't want to be reminded of it, and she also didn't trust him yet. The abuse she had gotten from both of them was ridiculous she would have shot the man and her mother if she had the right mind to. Hell who knows maybe she still does, these thoughts floated in her mind giving her a bit of a far off look, like she was major spacing out. Leah blinked and jumped a bit when Shatos had commented about her old man, "...Y-Yeah...again boring story...I mean we should get some adventuring done first! I need to be less of a newb right?" She commented using her gamer speak considering she would play the MMO most of the day she was at home. She wasn't good but she loved getting into the gamer jargon. The people seemed so real, and for the most part, they were! The buildings everything! She was admiring it all as they grew closer and closer to the town.
