In the kingdom of Rathma the city capital city of Malie with a great port with commerce that came and went the gold flowed through the pockets of merchants and guild that called this town home. The guildhall was located just over looking the port with multiple bridges to connect it to the different levels of the city. From the front a man approached with a long dark cloak the flowed around him hiding his body and half of his face covering up all but his dangerous red eyes. On his back he carried a great sword that was almost the size of his body that was made out of a black metal which even with some scratches on the side it could be seen that it was not just a dye over the steel, the entire blade was made out of a black metal. Along the flat edge of the blade there were deep carvings that were jagged and curving to form some unknown language with red lines filling in the gaps that seemed to give the sword an evil feel to it much like a cultists blade at first glance. Many of those who had known him did not have to see under the cloak to know about his reputation, the sword alone said that. He was Shatos the wielder of the black blade and was a platinum ranked adventurer in the guild.
Entering the front of the guild hall Shatos could see all kinds of non-humans going about their business preparing or looking up at quests that had been posted. Off to the left side of the entrance were a few stands set up by the better merchants in town who focused on providing some of the best gear, potions and items of all kind that an adventurer might use. The cloaked figure then looked off towards the back of the room where a wall was covered in requests ranging from cheap and easy jobs on the left all the way to the hardest and best paying jobs on the right. His had been on the right half of the board where the higher paying jobs were. It requires him to bring at least one other companion of gold tier or higher as per their employers request.
Along the right wall were various rooms and stairs to take you to the other areas of the hall usually reserved for higher paying clientele and higher ranking members. He headed towards the desk to the right of these special room to address the guild maiden who usually handled the clients so that way she could summon up those who took his quest. As he approached she took notice of the Demon red eyes and stiffened up immediately. The woman was a foot shorter than him with large white cat ears, long blue hair and silvery blue eyes but as soon as he approached her hair stood on end as her instincts took over like they always did. Shuri looked up at him with a frightened look at first before calming herself and pulled out the guild file for his job and looking it over, "Nothing seems out of the order here Sir. Relatively simple job for someone of your rank and your partner will be along soon enough, I will have her meet you over there. Your employer has a cart set up to take you close to the objective." She said almost too formally and loudly than he would have liked.
Looking over at the neko girl with such a bright look that always stood out he rolled his eyes slightly from under the mask, "You didn't even ask for my ID Shuri.." he said which she almost glared back at him because it was obvious who he was even without the stupid card to prove his identity. If not for the giant sword and red eyes the very fact she she would almost get a heart attack any time he approached spoke plenty for the girl to never want to get on his bad side.
Shuri took a step away and stuck her arm out, "As I said over there!" She said trying to sound tough but her small voice and how her hair stood on end only caused the man to grin under his mask nodding deciding it was best to give her the room she sought. If there was anything that stood out about his life it is the fact that those with high levels of awareness always seemed to take notice of him even if he wasn't a threat which was both good and bad in his line of work he always needed practice.
