Question Image hosting

Hayo peeps. i had a double two parter question before i really settled in. If this has been asked and answered before, forgibs me!

The first half is; Blue Moon doesn't appear to have the ability to host images, so i was wondering if there was either any specific sites that staff prefer images to be linked, or places they'd prefer to be avoided? And if anyone had a host they'd recommend? Preferably one that allows NSFW, since i do draw that kinda stuff on semi-rare occasion. The second is whether it would be bad form for me to create a thread to publicly link these drawings? You know, to fish for critique and to let anyone who, for some ungodly reason, actually likes my scribblings to use for themselves, if they wanted.

I don't know about staff preferences but the only site that allows NSFW and is reliable enough that I know of is ImgBB.

lensdump is where I migrated to personal nsfw image hosting after the Imgur change. It's worked great for me thus far.

Here's a few older threads about image hosts: [1] [2] [3] Aside from Discord (which does not support hotlinking images on other sites), I think most recommendations in there are still valid.

Perhaps it's an idea to have an admin-written thread pinned somewhere, listing popular (and NSFW-friendly) hosting sites along with their unique features. It'd make it easier for people to find a host that suits their needs without having to scroll through increasingly obsolete threads that don't provide much more information than "I like this one".

That said, I personally like catbox.moe because of the no-nonsense interface that just works, but it might not be suitable if you want to use it to keep track of your uploads (e.g. in albums you can link to).

imgbb has worked pretty well for me. Sure, the useablity is not as good as on imgur, but they don't care for NSFW.

I had someone recommend imgchest dot com to me and it works well. You can also hide your uploads to be shared via link only and make them SFW or NSFW.
