Just past the Amphitheater are the cells in Cell Block B, corridors full of of glass walled cells where patients sit and wait for their next meal, or next appointment. At the very end of the main long corridor sits the communal showers, a luxury for those in Cell Block B who don't annoy or anger their nurses and guards. Such luxuries did not extend to bathroom privileges, as the only thing patients got in Cell Block B were small uncleaned toilets in their cells, void of privacy...and toilet paper.

The cells themselves hold little other comforts, having no beds or mattresses, no chairs or sitting space. The only items given to the patients are a blanket and pillow to sleep under on the cold ground, and meals at given times.

This is the day to day life in Cell Block B.

Her teeth pulled until the flesh ripped away, knawing and swallowing at the fresh kill. The guard hadn't stood a chance. Three kills now, each as easy as the last and the wolf wanted more. She wanted to rip the throats out of every man and woman who had taken her from her home. She was angry, seething with hate, and underneath that she was desperately alone. She had watched her pack get murdered...from a small metal wire cage they had stuffed her in, she watched as they poached each of her brothers and sisters, her mother and father. Her entire pack, obliterated. And if that was no cruel enough they stole her from Russia, keeping her in that god awful cage till they dumped her in here. Now she'd be a lone wolf...lost without a family. And these people would pay for that. They'd all pay.

At the sound of shoes clicking across the floor Natalya's head drew up from the torn carcass at her feet, the guard barely recognizable now except for the tattered uniform her jaws had torn through easily. She had always been overly strong for a wolf, more so than even her Alpha but she had never put thought to it. She waited, her muzzle drenched in blood, for the person to pass and see her so that Natalya could enjoy the horrified look on their face. Watch them flee for help, listen to the men come. Would they beat her? They had the last two times, but that wouldn't stop her from doing it again. She had nothing but revenge to live for now. Nothing and no one but the hatred inside her heart.

[Arriving from Cell Block B – Offices & Labs, post #10]

Rupi could hear the ruckus even before she entered the main patient block section, the arguing of guards and the growling of some animalistic creature. The clicking of her own heels on the smooth floor soon joined the fray as she marched over to the Cell, clutching a clipboard with papers to her chest. She marched over to where two guards stood gazing into the large glass panel next to the locked door, giving the three of them a clear view of what was going inside. It was not pretty.

A third guard, or what was left of him, lay half-devoured on the floor. And standing over it was not the blonde haired Russian patient that Rupi expected, but a white furred wolf whose snout was dripping with fresh blood. While the two guards, hands on their weapons, looked utterly horrified at the sight, Rupi merely frowned slightly. She did feel a short rush of exhilaration at the sight of blood, despite having fed off patient AK8866 just moments ago. Then she turned her grey eyes upon the wolf, who stood staring right back at her with a snarling expression.

Rupi did not budge or seemed worried. She was vampiric after all and having just fed, her strength was at its greatest extent. She could handle one lone feral wolf. The guards as usual were too incompetent to figure out anything.

“What happened?” She asked flatly without looking at either of the two standing outside.

“We went in to…unchain her and she just changed and snapped on us. We were lucky to get away, ma’am.” One of them replied.

“We ought to just put her down, like any sick or bad dog. She’s not worth this trouble.” The other sneered, raising his rifle.

Both of you should be put down for your stupidity. Rupi thought to herself. “You’ll do no such thing. The patient is more valuable than both of your pitiful lives.” She stated in a calm tone.

“So…what should we do?” One guard asked, then bristled as Rupi turned to him with a smile.

“She just ate…I bet she’s thirsty now. Bring a bowl of water, then leave me alone with her.” She ordered, then waved them off and stood gazing into the cell with a soft smile. Soon they brought a large dish of water, Rupi sighing with relief that the idiots didn’t bring her a water bottle instead. A wolf couldn’t drink from that. Setting the clipboard aside, she took the dish and moved to the doorway.

“Ma’am…it’s too dangerous to get in there alone.” One of them said.

“I’ll be fine. Just stay back and record.” Rupi ordered, then punched in the code for the lock and the doors slid open. She immediately stepped in and they shut behind her.

The first thing Rupi did was turn towards the wolf and stare her down in the eye. Directly. Challengingly. It should have been evident to such a social creature as a wolf that Rupi held dominance and hierarchy, at least over the others. She straightened her posture as tall as she could be, shoulders back and muscles taut. For a moment she maintained this posture with the wolf, trying to establish a sense of dominance. If the wolf wanted to fight, she would discover this vampiric lady had more power behind her punch and kick then what seemed to be evident in her slender limbs.

But when a few intense seconds ticked by, Rupi suddenly side stepped to the right, away from the door and perpendicular to the wolf. Not towards it, as that might construe an act of aggression. No, Rupi moved to the far corner of the cell, never breaking eye contact with the wolf. When she reached it, only then did lower her gaze and crouch slowly, though careful not to turn her back to the creature either. She made a show of swirling the water with a pinky, before raising it to her lips and suckling it. Then she set the water dish down and backed up quickly towards the door.

Then she waited, and watched.

Her eyes flickered between the three of them, her ears swivelling at their words. The glass and concrete cells weren't soundproofed, making it easy for Natalya to hear their every word. When one of them brought up the chains Natalya let out a snarl, tossing a gnawed hand at the glass as the blood and flesh smeared down, watching their eyes pop. Then she returned to eating, displaying her ferocity as she tore and shredded what was left, chopping and chewing through bone and flesh. She buckled down, laying on the cold floor as she caught large rib bone and yanked it out, setting it between her two upper bones as she set to chewing it, always watching them, snarling if they looked too long.

Suddenly the two guards left, perking her interest in the woman who seemed unafraid of the wolf. It was the same woman that had been speaking on the stage, the one Natalya had found beautiful. Her thoughts around the doctor confused the wolf, not understanding why she could even feel an attraction to another woman. Her thoughts were interrupted though, when she saw the two men return with a large metal bowl. And then she was stepping inside, making Natalya's hair rise down her spine as an skin crawling growl left her bloodied throat. Dropping the bone she stood, rolling her shoulders back to show that she wouldn't back down. While she wasn't a massive hulking thing like in legends, the wolf was definitely a fair size bigger than any normal wolf, her legs long and graceful, her hair shaggy but well kept. She looked more like a dire wolf than an Eurasian, which was odd being as she was born in an Eurasian pack. Of course Natalya knew none of this, except for the fact that she had always been the tallest in her pack and the fastest.

She lowered her head and let out a snarl, baring teeth as the woman stood before her, challenging her with a piercing gaze. Her body language begged for a fight, beckoning Natalya to challenge her. They continued to underestimate the wolf. Instead she took a step back, acting as if this strange raven-haired woman was winning, watching her set the bowl down with what she could now smell was water and stirred it, enticing the thirsty wolf. As expected of her, Natalya stepped carefully towards it, her ears pinned back and her teeth still bared, showing she still meant business. As she approached the water she kept her eyes on the woman, taking two licks of it, conceding to her thirst, acting like the good little wolf. Fool.

Without warning she caught the bowl with her paw and flung it hard, hitting the wall near the woman's head with a crash as the bowl clattered to the ground. The distraction would give her just the right amount of time as Natalya rushed her, lunging and catching her wrist, dragging her down. If she could knock the woman off her feet she would have the upper hand, and a quick death to the gorgeous woman before her. A shame to waste such looks, but Natalya was in for the kill.

Teeth sunk into flesh and Natalya's eyes popped, the sweet taste of her blood filling her mouth. It tasted better than anything she had tried before and it filled her body with an odd longing, a wanting to taste this woman more. An unwanted sensual growl left her throat before Natalya shook her head hard to rid her thoughts of the arousal that had started to rise, focusing on just winning the fight.

Rupinder Vera judged the moment was going well. She had offered a metaphorical bone to the wolf in the form of a water dish, which as she retreated back towards the doorway she found the creature curious and indulging. It seemed as if everything was going well. If the patients did not see their doctors as enemies, it made the study and experimentation on them all the more easier. There was no need for violence or coercion, as some other doctors employed. For Rupi’s line of work, she needed the patient willing to open up and discuss with her. Being antagonistic and violent accomplished nothing.

Of course, it was common for things not to go as planned. The moment Rupi lowered her guard, her eyes fluttering towards the glass panel to signal at the observing guards, everything went to hell.

She felt a jolt of shock when the dish suddenly smashed against the wall near to her head, the clang resounding much more profoundly in her sensitive ears. But Rupi did not jerk away out of fear, instead turning with a stern expression towards the perpetrator. Though she might disdain using violence as her first approach, she did not shy away from using it as an alternative. Her body tingled with life and strength. She was no easy push over, that is when she was prepared. And here she was not. Rupi turned and at once stumbled back as the wolf, patient NS3456, was on her.

Rupi’s mouth let out a gasp of pain as the wolf sank her deadly jaw right into her arm. The momentum of Natalya’s dive threw the slender woman into the wall behind, but she caught herself with her other arm, maintaining herself on shaky knees. Agony lanced throughout her arm as the wolf began to clamp harder, tasting her blood just as Rupi had done to AK8866. For a moment, there was a feeling of kinship in the shared gesture of base nourishment, but it passed quickly. It was fortunate Rupi had grown up with the hard, unpassionate lifestyle that she lived. From a position of poverty and service, she had been bred and weaned. It was not above the now refined doctor to get her hands dirty.

With her own cry of pain and frustration, Rupi used her other hand to grab the wolf around its upper snout, her fingers groping around the muzzle and half into its mouth as it bit into her arm. With her other arm, wedged between the wolf’s jaw, she began to force her forearm downwards, painfully impaling it further on the wolf’s bottom mandibles as she used her other hand to pry the creature’s jaw off from above. It was a very painful move, one that had Rupi snarling in pain as she employed her full strength to throw the wolf off her pain. With one final jerk, she shook her arm freely the moment she had the wolf’s jaw open and with another cry, heave it back with a tight grip on its snout.

With her foot, she quickly delivered a full kick into the creature’s midsection, hoping to send it back several feet. Enough time for Rupi to turn and burst towards the door. Thankfully, a guard were on his toes, opening the lock and causing the doors to slide open, allowing Rupi to escape into the corridor before he shut it again on the wolf. Rupi seized and cradled her arm against her torso, blood pouring freely down her arm and onto the floor. It was not a fatal wound and would heal in time, given her condition. But it still hurt. A lot.

And attacking a doctor meant the death penalty for some patients.

The guards knew it. They clicked the safeties off their weapon and were already seizing a radio to call for back-up. The bitch she-wolf was going to die…

“Stop!” Rupi suddenly ordered, releasing her arm and standing to her full height. “No, stand down. There will be no action taken on this transgression.” She barked, glaring at the guards who silently obeyed. They could see the woman’s rage, probably assuming she would take the pleasure in putting the wolf down. But Rupi made no move, merely moving to the glass panel and staring in with a firm, pale expression as her arm bled.

The woman was no human. Natalya determined that not just by the delicious blood sliding down her throat, but by her strength as she got a firm hold on Naty's upper snout and yanked up, her other arm pushing down. A meer human wouldn't have the strength to fight her pwoerful jaws, but this woman did. Stumbling back, she wasn't ready for the kick and it sent her sprawling, a loud whine leaving her throat. She curled up, her breath heaving as she heard the door unlock. Surprise had rippled through her at how strong the woman was, but she didn't feel upset over losing. In her mind, she had won, but it had been fair and the woman who had only moments ago been before her had fought well.

She wasn't paying too much attention to the guards outside as she curled more into herself, unaware they were hoisting their guns. Natalya was focused on her Change, letting her bones break and remold, her whole body in agonizing pain as her fur retreated into her skin and her four legs became two arms and two slender legs. Her Change was quick, quicker than most werewolves, but Natalya had taken a lot of pain in life and could push through her transformation quicker than many humans could. Standing up on shaking legs, the gorgeous woman stood before the glass, naked as she watched their guns move, realizing their goal was to kill her.

For a brief second fear showed in her face as she stepped a few paces back. But then it was gone, replaced with a cool headed look. She watched, but mostly listened as the woman told them to step down, now curiosity perking her interest. Had she not just attacked the woman? Why was she protecting her?

Natalya waited till the guards were out of sight before stepping close to the glass, one finger pressing to it and tracing down where she could see the bleeding arm then smiling menacingly, blood still coating her face and naked chest, her voluptuous breasts coated in the fresh sticky liquid.

"Dostoynyy protivnik," she spoke, her thick Russian accent sounding beautiful as it fell from her lips, "I lakomyy udovol'stviye ya kogda-libo imel. Priyezzhayte snova menya, voron krasoty."

The guards would clearly question Rupi’s behavior. It was not the standard for what they seen or heard before. Assaulting a doctor or even a nurse or guard usually warranted a decent beat down and perhaps some further humiliations as well. They all loved a show, after all. But Rupi bade them do nothing and did so as well, holding her injured wrist with her other arm before her abdomen, gazing intently at the scene within. Despite her wound and recent near-brush with death, her scholarly mind was in command, sternly absorbing every detail of the scene before her.

Whatever impetus or force motivated this sudden change, Rupi had yet to discern. But she watched with a pragmatic expression the entire ordeal, as patient NS3456 transformed from a snarling, blood-stained wolf into a shapely young blonde woman. For a moment Rupi thought the base animal instinct would still pervade and she would throw herself with reckless violence towards the glass panel. Instead Rupi saw in her eyes and face, registered fear at the sight of weapons and guards. To that, Rupi took an immense interest, lodging the memory away for future study. Now was not the time to consider it, for the striking young woman began to strut towards the glass.

Rupi remained steadfast, her expression calm and reserved, with her eyes cold. She showed no expression of pain at her own injury, though she was feeling it. But far less than usual, for her senses became swept with sudden exhilaration as she eyed the other woman. Her beauty was striking and feral, wakening a strange lust in Rupi’s chest. She watched with utter detachment as the other woman eyed her injury, then grinned towards her, covered in Rupi’s blood.

Then she spoke, intelligent and refined. That shook Rupi the most, abruptly throwing into confusion all she thought she knew about this wild wolf girl. There was more than a pretty face and a dangerous bite.

The vampire woman barely understood the Russian, though she knew the word krasoty. Beauty. Enough men of that particular language had called her that over the years in the pursuit of her attentions. Most had called her something else when they discovered Rupi had no interest in the masculine sex. Rupi eyed the other woman, saying nothing for a moment. She had no clue as to what had been said to her. Instead, after a moment of silence, she raised her injured arm up before her face and suckled a leaking trail of blood that was trickling out, momentarily staining her own lips with blood, before licking them clean. With the simple gesture, Rupi wanted to demonstrate one thing.

This did not phase her. She’ll be back.

Turning, Rupi promptly marched down the corridor and left the woman in her cell. She made a brief return to her office, walking quickly to avoid any witness who might see her in this state. Not because she was ashamed she had been caught offguard and injured. Rupi didn’t possess an egotistical pride like that. Her haste to cover herself up was borne from a desire to keep the episode under wraps, allowing her to study the strange she-wolf woman further without having her prematurely deposed off. Once she wrapped her arm in bandages and changed into a new labcoat to cover it up, she received an urgent request from a patient in Cell Block C…

[Depart to Cell Block C]

Moments later, the guards would come back, carrying a pair of cuffs and a strange gag-contraception. It was built for both human and wolf forms, designed to work on either shape. When changing to a wolf, the snout of the creature would grow into the small compartment that protruded from an inner ball like object, acting like a tight muzzle to constrict the wolf’s jaw. The gag ball normally fit into a human’s mouth and in wolf shape, it would adapt itself to create a horse bit-like object. Overall, it was a very uncomfortable contraption to be forced to wear.

And the guards came in force, four of them. They came with rough and violent hands and were very inconsiderate as they forced Natalya into the devices. Then with mocking laughter, they left her there and promptly departed.

A hour later, they would return, but not to harm. Two guards escorted another, a man who happily greeted her, in Russian, with a smile. Her english tutor.

This woman continued to intrigue the wolf. It was obvious she understood little of what Natalya had said, but the woman was smart enough to get it translated if needed. What impressed her was her continual displays of dominance, as if trying to make the strong wolf submit. She watched as she licked her wound clean, yet another signal that this was no meer human. The guards were no where to be seen, so no one saw her display, meant for Natalya only.

And then she left. Promptly and without warning she turned and left as Natalya let out a huff and returned to her meal, finishing the rib bone she had been working on. She was about done it when the guards came in, and boy did they come in with no holding back. They beat her first, using what looked like small black poles that left bruises with every mark, pounding into her till she lay whimpering on the floor, unable to move due to what felt like at least two broken bones. Then two lifted her pretty head while the other two slipped on a horrid contraption. It fit her entire face and she could see that not even Changing would help get it off. The gag ball made it impossible to speak or bite or even take a drink, and with how limp she was they had ample time to send someone in to clean up her mess before they brought a new man in, one that looked nothing like the guards.

He introduced himself as her English tutor but she only scoffed. How in the hell did they expect her to learn English with the gag and muzzle on? But he explained he could teach her the letters first and how to read them, and then move on to speaking when she was trusted enough to have no muzzle. Again Naty's eyes rolled. These people did not get it.

It took her several tries before she could finally choke the words out and around the gag, her Russian accent making it hard to understand as she explained she didn't know how to read. That put a dent in their plans, but only for an hour. Then someone came back with the tutor and a small little sheet that slid into her muzzle and held the gag back just enough that her lips pressed against the cool metal sheet but she was able to speak.

"Teper' my mozhem nachat'," he stated, bringing in two chairs for them to sit on as two guards remained inside the cell and the nurse began his teachings, much to the annoyance of the stubborn wolf.

[Arriving from Cell Block C – post #29]

The elevator’s slid open silently, a sight Rupi perhaps saw a hundred times in a day. With her assigned guard, she stepped into the corridor and began to march swiftly down towards a certain cell. Kyli Grey. A nymph, they say. Rupi thought to herself as she passed several other cells, trying very hard not to stay and look into what was happening with Natalya…correction, patient NS3456. What is the matter with me? Her arm still tingled with the throbbing pain of the creature’s jaws sinking into her flesh. But something else in the vampire’s mind desired no revenge for such a slight.

Rupi tried to forget about the wolf girl and focus on her next patient. A new one. KG9664. A nymph, from mythology. Very beautiful, from what some of the guards were saying. She was glad she brought the Master Specialist with her, a fellow female, and not some eager, distracted guard wondering what he might do with the patient once the doctors were gone. Little did she know that Natalie was just like her in some regards, though Rupi would never ask or speak of it.

They arrived at the nymph’s cell hurriedly and Rupi took a moment to confer with the guards to determine if there had been any incidents or actions from the patient, before moving to take a look inside through the glass panel.

She had heard the sounds from down the hall. Lifting her head in horror, she was sure someone was dead. Relief washed over her as later she watched a woman heading down the hallway quickly. It wasn’t her appearance that caught her attention the most. It was the sound. The clicking. She had heard it before. It was the woman from before. Jinx leapt to her feet and pressed her face to the glass trying to watch her. A passing guard smashed his hand into the glass yelling at her, “Back off!” It startled her more than anything. “I’m sorry. I was just…..”

“Shut up! I don’t care! Step away from the glass!” She nodded backing away, her eyes flinting down to his weapon. ‘Mean man. You and your big, scary gun. You wouldn’t be so big and bad if it would go off, would you? If your gun would just fire one shot, you wouldn’t be so bad huh? Just one shot, and you would…..” The gun fired shocking her and the guard. He quickly checked his weapon before stepping away. ‘Did I do that? Did I….get a grip. You can’t do that. You’ll get in trouble.’ Jinx began to pace back and forth in her cell. ‘Stupid place. I don’t wanna be here. I wanna go home. Home. Home. Home,’ she thought, clicking her heels together. ‘It was worth a shot. I mean a try! It was worth a try. Don’t ever think the word shot again. No. I did it again!’ Shaking her head, her pace quickened. ‘I wonder if mom and dad are okay. What about grandmother? I have to get out of here and go check on them, but I can’t. These stupid doors are locked.’ Glancing up at the door she whispered, “Open sesame. Release. Open. Access granted.” She grew frustrated with each try. “Lock unlock,” she finally called out, louder than anything else she had said. The sounds of the locks clicking open could be heard, and her face shattered into disbelief. “I did it. I did it.” Stepping closer she pulled the door open. “I did it.”

Her expression fell. “Oh no. I did it. I really did it. I’m gonna be in so much trouble. No. No. No. No.” She pushed the door closed again. “Lock lock. Door lock. No access. No access. Oh man oh man oh man. I can’t get it to lock back. Did I break the door? No. No. No. I….broke the door. It’s open.” Jinx began to realize that she could leave. She could try and get out of here and find her family again. Quietly she pushed the door open and carefully looked the down the hall. It was clear. She was sure she didn’t want to go in the direction the woman had traveled to. She might spot her and put her back in her cell. Her only other option was to travel in the direction she had heard the sounds coming from. Swallowing hard she stepped from her cell and began to move down the hall. There were other cells. Some had people in them. Some were empty. She happened on a cell with a blonde woman inside. She ducked back out of sight as she saw there was a man inside with her. ‘Crap. What do I do? Do I go back towards the woman, or do I just keep going?’ Jinx glanced back down the hall in the direction the woman had gone. ‘No. I might run into her. If I go this way, that man in there might not see me. Even if he does, he’s in the cell.’ She nodded, thinking that making a run for it might be her best bet, and so she dashed down the hall towards the door at the end of it. The door at the end of the hall that she saw had ‘Fire Escape’ on it. ‘It can’t be locked. That’s against the law.’ As she pushed it though, Jinx quickly found out that she was wrong. “What? Locked? No way. Lock Unlock.” The door gave, and she disappeared inside the barely lit stairwell.

Without hesitation she headed up, opening the door that was labeled Cell Block A. “Lock Unlock.” The door gave just as easily as the other two had, and Jinx stepped out. She wasn’t sure if she was in the same building at first. ‘You gotta be kidding me. This place looks so….different.’ The sounds from the gardens made her stop for a moment, but growing up on a farm Jinx knew the smell was different. Fresh air. Still she could see the light. Curious as she was, it was something else that drew her attention away. Sniffing the air, she followed her nose into the cafeteria. “I smell….bananas.” Upon exploring the cafeteria, she found a faucet that she quickly turned on and began to drink heavily from it. The water was cold and refreshing, but once she spotted the bananas, she turned it off and began to peel one. “Food. Real food.” Stuffing her mouth full, she tried to remember the last time she had eaten anything. It had been a while. Everything about this place seemed fake to her, but the goodness of the banana filling her belly wasn’t. ‘I have to find glass or a doo leading outside. If I do that, I can make the glass disappear or unlock the door. Then I can go check on my family.’ Tossing the banana peel into the trash can, she smiled grabbing another one. ‘Right after I get some food in my stomach. I’m hungry.’

The Master Specialist walks with the Doctor, keeping her hand on her weapon and her focus on the present. They approach the cell and Natalie grabs her ID card, sliding it across the small panel next to the door, it opens and Natalie beckons for the Doctor to walk inside.

Once she is inside, Natalie follows, the door sliding closed behind them. She walks to the corner, keeping her weapon lowered as she doesn't expect the Nymph to be any trouble, but she does keep her finger on the trigger in case she does become a problem.

Rupi jerked unconsciously when she heard gunfire down the hall. Not because she was frightened of it. She had no compunctions about getting shot, unless it was in the heart or face, which would mean instant death from her. Like the bite wound, she could recover from non-fatal gunshot wounds in a matter of hours, due to her vampiric nature. But the fact there was gunfire in Cell Block B, a level that was supposed to be tame and relaxed, was surprising.

Inside of Kyli’s cell, she paused and gazed through the glass panel and down the corridor, where all was suddenly silent. Misfire perhaps? Disciplinary action? Or was an escaping patient put down? She turned to Master Specialist Dayton, nodding her head in the direction of the noise. “Go and investigate that.” She instructs in a whisper. “Then report back to me. If it’s a patient, utilize extreme caution. No killing. I want to know.” She told Natalie, waving her hand in dismissal. She could handle being alone with a nymph.

She nods. "Will do, Doctor." She says before walking out of the room, the cell door closing again behidj her. She unclips her weapon from its place on her chest rig before jogging up the hall, a guard points her in the right direction. "Tell everyone else to back off, I've got it." She says before raising her weapon, moving into Cell Block A to see the witch described to her by the startled guard.

"You there! Stop where you are!" She yells, her Scottish accent very noticeable from the tone of her voice. From seeing the female guard up in arms, the halls are clear. Guards are around each corner, riot shields and weapons clutched tightly in their hands as they watch the standoff.

Natalie starts to slowly approach, her weapon no longer on safe and raised in Jinx's direction. "You need to get on your knees and place your hands on the back of your head, I will take you back to your cell if you comply, but if you do not I will not hesitate to shoot you." She says loud enough for the witch to hear. "Do you understand me?"

The words caught Jinx off guard, causing her to drop the banana she had half eaten already. She wasn’t listening for footsteps, not that she could have heard the stealth guards moving around. Her eyes closed fast as she looked up in the direction of the guard. Sometimes when she was afraid or startled, she moved things, even people. It was an accident of course, but accidents were not something she could afford in this place, not when someone was holding a gun to her making it clear she was not afraid to shoot. “Please,” she called out. “Don’t sh….don’t do that. I’m not thinking about your….gun. I’m not thinking about it! Don’t think about it. Please, just….don’t….I wanna see my parents. Please. Are they….okay? I just wanna go home. I can’t….I won’t….hurt anybody. I don’t want to! I won’t! I mean….I….please,” she yelled, tripping over her own words as she tried to focus. ‘Don’t think about the guns. Don’t think about them. Don’t think about them at all. She’s holding….a….NO! Don’t think about….her holding anything! Clear your mind. Clear it. Think about….home.’ Jinx swallowed hard as the first tear escaped her tightly clenched eyes. “I just wanna go home. I’m a nobody. Just a girl….who can move things and make things happen. I didn’t ask for it, and if you can cure it….let me know. I’ve done things before, bad things, and I don’t wanna do anything like that ever again.” Her words were coming easier now, but the tone was shaky. It was clear how afraid she was. In fact she was paralyzed with fear. She didn’t remain standing up in defiance. It was fear.

Slowly she opened her eyes to see the woman standing there with the gun pointed at her, and Jinx gasped. “Oh boy. Man oh man. You’re like for real with a real….one of those,” she said gesturing with her head. “I never….hurt nobody. Well….except for that one….time….but I didn’t know I could….do that, and I never did it again. So why….am I here? What did I do….wrong? Why can’t I….go home? My parents..must be..so scared. They need me..to help..take care..of the farm. I can’t,” she continued as she wiped away her tears, “be here. Please. Let me go, and I won’t..tell anyone..about this place. I promise. I don’t..know anyone..anyway.” Her stomach was in knots, and she feared throwing up. “I just..wanna go..home. Please.”

Natalie listens to the witch, she honestly has no idea why she would be here, or how they even got her here, those questions are above your pay grade. When Jinx is done talking, Natalie lowers her rifle, clipping it back to her vest. She places a soft hand on her shoulder. "Your name is Jinx, isn't it?" She asks quietly. "Listen, all of those questions I cannot answer, but if you come with me back to where you came from, I can get them answered for you." She explains to the witch, looking her dead in the eye, thong she probably wouldn't be able to tell through her ballistic glasses.

"I'm not going to force you anywhere, I want you to return to your cell, for right now you can't go home but we'll work on it." Lies, all lies, she feels terrible about it but she needed to get this girl back to her cell before something happens. She still has her hand on Jinxs' shoulder, she starts to lightly pull her back to where she came from. "I know you're scared, just trust me." She says quietly. "No harm will come to you if you listen."

“Magan,” she replies, startled by her touch. “Jinx is a….nickname my….parents gave me. I’m an..anomaly. Jinx..sounded better,” she forces a smile. She listens to her. Her expression contorts as she hears she wants her to go back to her cell. “If I go back….I won’t know..I don’t..belong..here. I…..” She puts her hands over her face as she gives into the tidal wave of emotions that consume her. “Thank you,” she told her before moving her hands and embracing her. The gun that was clipped to her vest pressed against Jinx, but she didn’t care. She trusted this girl. She had every chance to shoot her, but she didn’t. Instead she was talking to her, taking care of her. This girl was the first friendly face she had seen since she got here. As she held her tight, crying toot her shoulder, she looked up to see another guard moving in. “No,” she shouted before sending his gun flying up to the ceiling. The bullets separated from the gun, equally pinned to the ceiling. “ said….I won’t….hurt anyone. Don’t..do that,” she told him, still clinging to the girl. “I’m sorry,” she began to apologize to her. “I’m sorry. He..scared me. I’m sorry. I won’t hurt him.” Her hands tried to grab her, but all she felt was her vest. “I’m sorry,” she continued backing away from her, wiping her tears away. The guard’s gun and bullets were still pinned to the ceiling. Jinx flashed him look before looking back at the girl. “I can..take them down..if you want.”

The guard was making progress with her. Jinx truly did trust her, and then she heard it. “Stupid freak,” were the words that drew her attention back to the guard. His blade stopped just short of her face. She starred at it with indifference. “I said..I wouldn’t..hurt anyone..and you try..to kill me? Why? What did I do to you?” The blade turns to his direction as more utensils lift from the tables. “I don’t..want..to hurt you. Don’t you see that? Back off. Just go away. I trust you,” she tells the girl, turning to face her. “Make him go away. Please. It’s you I trust. Not him.”

Natalie doesn't see the guard coming from the left, too busy trying to calm the witch down. Her head snaps over to where the gun has flown up to the ceiling, the red faced guard looks like he's going to kill, but he wouldn't do anything as long as- Right as she thinks about Jinx being protected by her, the witch is backing off, Natalie's eyes trace the blade flying towards the witch but she appears to have it under control. Natalie grabs the sidearm sitting at her waist, just a simple Kimbar Assault pistol. She points it at the guard, a private. "Private, stand down." She says. "I'm a master specialist, I have every right to shoot you for disobeying an order, now back the fuck off." She growls. The guard nods, backing up away from them, the guards peeking around corners have their weapons trained on the witch. "Stand down!" She calls out to them, they slowly lower their weapons, Natalie has authority for now.

"Magan, calm down, you're fine." She says to the witch, taking a step closer before sliding her sidearm back into its holster at her left hip, she's obviously left handed. "I know you don't want to be in your cell, but that's the safest place for you right now." She says to the girl that stands before her. She walks up to her, putting an arm around her. "C'mon, let's go back." The Scottish guard says. "This way.." She tries to lead the witch back in the direction that they came in. "If you want to drop the gun from the ceiling, do so after we get back to Cell Block B, alright?" She says quietly.

Her face reddened, blushing deeply as she heard the woman talking to the other guard. She had never heard such words before. Her parents and grandmother certainly didn’t talk like that, and had she ever uttered a word like that, they would have washed her mouth out with soap. Still she was relieved to see the guard follow her orders and back down. Her soothing words further helped relax her, enough so that the items hovering in the air slowly returned to the tables behind her. ‘Safest place..for me,’ she thought. Slowly Magan nodded while keeping her eyes on the floor. “O-Okay then.” The memories of the sounds she had heard coming from down the hall were fresh in her mind, and perhaps that was what she needed to be protected from. Plus there were the guards who seemed all but too happy to shoot her.

Mindlessly she begins to move with her, making her way back towards her cell. As they pass the guard who had backed off, Magan pauses for just a moment. He is livid. “I’m sorry,” she squeaks out to him. His expression changes to one of confusion and shock. Perhaps he’s not accustomed to someone being kept her apologizing to him. Either way, it was how she was raised. She did something wrong to him; therefore, he was owed an apology.

As she continued on, feeling the girl’s arm around her, Jinx turned to her. “What’s your name? You’ve helped me….and been so nice to me. I’d like to thank you, but I want to call you by your name. I know you’re a….master specialist….whatever that means….but I don’t know your name. Oh and after I get back to my cell….do you think I could….talk to someone in charge? I’m so….worried about them. Please?”

Natalie nods as they start to walk, all was going well so far. When they walk past the guard from before, Natalie shot him a glare that made him cower a little, he didn't even go to retrieve his rifle. They make it into Cell Block B before Natalie looks at the witch out of the corner of her eye.

"It's Natalie." She explains. "And you're welcome, it isn't my job to be cruel to you." She explains quietly. "And yeah, I can arrange to have someone talk to you, though everyone is pretty busy today." She says as they reach the cell. She opens the door, walking inside with Magan. "Here you are, just hang on tight, alright?" She asks before stepping out, the door closing behind her.

This tutor would drive her mad. He spoke to her like she was a child, using short slow words while waving his hands in large gestures. A few times she had growled at him when he had corrected her in Russian, only to get the most annoying "tsk tsk" sounds out of his mouth. It infuriated her. Even the guards looked about done with being around them, as one had left claiming he could watch from the glass panel and the other had stepped near the door, looking eager to leave.

But it wasn't enough that this young male nurse was annoying to listen to. He thought to wolf dumb too. After a particularly hard word her tongue could not probably pronounce he had rolled his eyes and muttered "nekompetentnyy" in Russian then looked towards the guard, "Are you sure she needs to learn English? She's no brighter than a dog."

She had had enough. She wasn't completely schooled in the entire Russian language, but she knew that word. Growling rather menacingly she lunged at him, and even with the cuffs on she had gotten her hands around his neck, talons for nails digging into his throat, not yet killing him but letting him bleed. The guard was slow to help him, obviously not thinking she could do permanent damage, or maybe he just didn't care if the nurse died.

"Delayet li eto menya nekompetentnym , kogda vasha zhizn' v moikh rukakh?" she snarled, then let out the most terrifying noise, a low throaty laugh. If the muzzle wasn't on it might have sounded more human and enjoyable, but instead it sounded haunted, the stuff of nightmares. The tutor pissed himself as he let out a whimper, and the guard even paused in his step before finally striding up beside them and pressing the back of his gun to her neck.

"Let the nurse go wolf."

She turned and snarled at him, digging her nails in hard and then ripping away, taking flesh and muscles with her. As the nurse gagged and choked on his own blood, dying on the floor, Naty tackled the guard, whose gun let out a shot in his surprise, easily missing her and embedding into the wall. She didn't kill him however. The shot spooked her, as it fired right past her left ear and she knocked him through the ground before rolling off and scampering into the corner, for the first time shocked. The damage was done though as she collected herself. The nurse lay dying and the guard was sprawled on the floor, confused. Outside the other guard was frantically trying to get inside with his key card, knowing the shot fired would have been heard down the hall, and there was a certain doctor doing exams.

Rupi watched as the Master Specialist stalked down the corridor, leaving the brown skinned doctor outside of Kyli’s chamber. She didn’t need the woman, no expecting much of a threat from a nymph. There was a brief moment of silence as the Master Specialist disappeared around a corner, going to investigate whatever the earlier gunfire had been. Hopefully it wasn’t a guard prematurely putting down a patient. She was about to leave the matter to Natalie Dayton when she heard yet another gunfire, this time in a completely different section.

Coming from the cells where Natalya had been stuffed in. Without warning, or reason, Rupi found her heart beginning to race. Someone better not have put the wolf down prematurely she thought, abandoning Kyli’s cell to go and check up on it. Normally she wouldn’t. Normally she wouldn’t even think twice about what might be happening to a patient, if she had other things on her plate. If the unfortunate individual died, Rupi would merely shake her head and write it off. But strangely, she felt an urge to check in on Natalya and hopefully discover who the hell was firing off single shots in this Cell Block.

She found chaos outside and inside of the Cell. Another shot resounded just as Rupi reached the glass panel, enough for her to stare in surprise at the scene inside just as the guard finally opened the door and moved in. The nurse, the tutor she had picked for Natalya, was on the ground bleeding his guts out. Rupi merely pursued her lips, turning her gaze to see a certain blonde woman cowering in the corner. The guard who had entered just ahead of Rupi already had his rifle up, readying to unload his entire clip into the poor creature.

He raised his rifle, targeting Natalya through his sights. His finger hovered just in front of the trigger, ready to squeeze and riddle the Russian woman with innumerable bullet holes.

“Stop! Don’t shoot.” Rupi suddenly cried, turning to the side and darting into the room. The guard merely snarled, his two fellows still laying on their feet, but thankfully there was no gunfire. But the guard didn’t let up, keeping Natalya in his sights and his finger near the trigger. But Rupi stepped in, put herself in front of the guard, uncaring that the rifle was now aimed right at her chest. She reached out, clasped the barrel of the gun between her hand and with her vampiric strength, proceeded to twist the barrel into an impossible angle. The groaning of metal was briefly heard as Rupi glared at the man.

“Doctor, this is the second incident in one hour! You know the penalty for misbehavior of this sort.” The guard sneered, despite the bending of his barrel. He had a sidearm and a knife to finish the job if he had to, not to mention his fellow rising to his feet, with his own rifle. He looked down at his own injuries then glared at the Russian girl.

“That bitch!” He roared and took a step towards her, intent on beating her down. But Rupi reached out and grabbed his shoulder, yanking him back. Her strength was surprisingly impressive, for a woman of her slender build and size. But feeding on Akila only recently ensured she would still be at the top of her game.

“Stand down.” Rupi ordered, her grey eyes fierce and unrelenting. “If you can quote procedures then you can follow them as well. No executions of patients without a direct order from a doctor. And I have given none and nor has anyone else.” She sneered in reply. She gazed down at the nurse then, her expression unchanging. She was used to see guards and nurses wounded, even killed, like this. It wasn’t the first to happen under one of her patients. He could still be saved as well. “Help him out. Quickly, if you want him to live.”

“We don’t.” One of the guards replied.

“Do it anyways. It’s an order.” Rupi replied, impatience laced in her tone. She didn’t care for their antics. With a staggering step, they picked up the nurse with a grunt and heaved him out, leaving a trail of blood. Soon, she and Natalya were alone.

Rupi turned her angry glare upon her next, but the tightening around her jaw and the narrowness of her eyes slightly loosened when she regarded the creature. “Privet.” Rupi suddenly said, holding out her arm, palm open and fingers pointed to the ground, in a gesture of peace and truce. Hopefully she didn’t try to bite her arm again…

Natalya watched the scene with a mixture of fear, confidence, and then confusion. Naty knew they'd kill her surely for this one, already one guard seemed to be aiming to do just that as the other caught his breath. A part of her feared death, being so young and hopeful for more, the human part of her, while another part of her simply raised her chin and told her to take it with pride, to ignore the fear as death was simply a part of life. It was moments like these that confused the wolf most, when both parts of her were in turmoil.

But what she hadn't expected was the tan beauty from earlier to reappear. The woman she had fought, the one she deemed a raven beauty. Naty held a certain amount of respect for this woman, even if she knew she was no friend. She watched with growing interest as the lady stood in front of the gun, getting both guards to back down before they dragged away the dying nurse. Natalya let out a loud huff through her nostrils as she watched them drag him away; he wouldn't live long enough for them to attend to his wounds.

Her bright golden eyes turned than to the woman, her ears perking at the rough Russian. Again she let out a short laugh, coming out in that haunting, terrifying throaty sound. She found it amusing that this gorgeous bombshell who hadn't known any Russian only hours before had come back with a word or two.

"Privet," she whispered, the muzzle making it hard to hear her voice properly, "Nazad na neskol'ko sekund moy voron krasoty?"

Rupi wasn’t at all disturbed. She had seen many things in her long life, having endured misery and poverty from a young age, where she had been given like chattel to a coven of cruel vampiric masters and mistresses. Hearing the woman chuckle behind her in her rough voice did not disrupt her own confidence or stance, merely regarding Natalya with a cool stare. She heard her whisper a reply, though it was difficult to hear behind her muzzle. One that Rupi herself had ordered, though she wasn’t about to reveal that.

Instead, she quirked an eyebrow and offered a half-smirk. “Krasoty.” She repeated, as if savouring the compliment, tapping her chest. Then he pointed at Natalya. “Koroleva krasoty.” She said, her pronouciation terrible but the words still eligible. She felt a full smile creep over her lips for a moment, then promptly turned her back on the other woman. Let her have this small treat, for it was the extent of Rupi’s Russian. Without a further word, she stepped back and departed the Cell.

She stood outside then, taking a huff and putting her hand to her forehead. What the hell was she doing? This patient was dangerous. Murderous. Wild. Feral. The guards were right. Maybe she should be put down. But Rupi didn’t give up so easily. Unlike others who studied patients for sport and fun, Rupi actually made an effort to understand them. And she wanted to understand this one, very much. So out of sight of the glass panel, she strode to a nearby comm and placed an order for a device from the Science Department.

Akila was ordered to fetch the package, being Rupi’s assigned helper for the day. She also noticed there was an urgent demand to see Dr. Funer at 6pm that day. That isn’t good. In the meanwhile, she stood next to the doorway, not visible in the glass panel but to the other side, leaning hard against the wall as if exhausted for some reason. She was not, only troubled in her mind and heart. The tingling in her lower abdomen would not subside. This wasn't looking good. Ohh not again. If the others find out, I might even be orchestrated. I might even...become one of them, if Hans finds out.

This woman wouldn't be able to see it through the muzzle, but she had caused the young wolf to smile. Rarely was she called anything close to beautiful. She stood as the woman left, following a few paces behind while watching intently. They'd given the wolf a small blue slip, like a hospital patient's gown to wear, having yet to bring the uniform clothing for her. Each patient got a white tank top, grey pair or shorts, identical grey colored pair of sweatpants, and a white t-shirt. Four items to be worn, giving them no choice in attire other than was it warm enough to wear short or cold enough to put that t-shirt and sweats on.

Natalya perferred no clothing of course, but the handcuffs on her wrists kept her from pulling off the scratchy apron-like piece they had given her. So she turned her focuses on the woman standing on the other side of the door, listening to her heart beat. Did they not know Naty could hear them?

"Voron krasoty , ya obidet' ?" she asked tentaviely then growled at herself, the noise echoing around her. Why the hell did she care if this woman was upset? She was one of them...one of the people that had locked her in. But she was also the first pretty thing to make Natalya's heart quicken and her insides turn. And she had held her own against the wolf, deeming her respect, but not yet her trust.

"Vy ne govorite po -russki ne tak li?"

She wasn't answering, instead moving away but Natalya moved along the glass until she could almost make her out, knowing she was still near and able to hear. Raising her voice she continued talking, her russian muffled by the muzzle yet still eligible.

"YA mogu slyshat' tvoye miloye serdtsebiyeniye, moy voron . Vernis' , ya obeshchayu, chto ne ukusit trudno . Vy prosto vkus tak ... khorosho." She could not think of a better word for her blood, knowing few long words in Russian.

["Raven beauty, did I offend?" "You do not speak Russian do you?" "I can hear your pretty heart beat, my raven. Come back in, I promise I will not bite hard. You just taste so...good."]

Coming from Gardens
Tags: Dr. Rupi Vera, Natalya

Whether she'd know if Elijah would follow her in or not, the girl was not to find out just yet. As she wandered the small paths a guard approached her, ordering her to get a move on to the Science Department and deliver a package to Dr. Rupi Vera. It seemed her time as an assistant was far from over, much to Akila's dismay. Head down she bolted from the gardens, passing Elijah on his bench in a whirl, wondering if she'd ever catch his eye. But that thought was pushed away at the other thought of how mad Dr. Vera could get being left waiting.

Making it to the Science Department on Block B only took a few minutes, and one man there was waiting impatiently, shoving a small metal suitcase at her and then a even smaller cardboard box into her other hand.

"Break it, and there will be hell to pay patient," he warned, then stalked off. Like she didn't already know that.

Setting off at a brisk pace, she saw Dr. Vera down one of the halls and tried hard not to run to her, just wanting to give her the parcel and escape again. But she kept her feet moving only briskly, stepping up to Dr. Vera and nodding.

"Ma'am, you needed this?" flipping the locks off she opened the metal suitcase. Inside was black padding holding a small ear piece that looked like a bluetooth, a handheld tech the size of a calculator, and a collar with a square in the middle. She had seen one before. It was a translation device; the collar went on the patient, and the box sat along their throat to pick up the vocal notes. Then with the handheld Dr. Vera could pick the language she wanted relayed into the bluetooth that would fit in her ear. Of course the damn thing wasn't made for doctors to respond to her patients, but that was what the second box in her hands was for. Inside was a second throat device and bluetooth, so Dr. Vera could speak to her if she wished, using the handheld to translate back and forth.

"Anything else you need ma'am?" she asked, the beautiful arabic girl looking nervously to where she could see Natalya pacing.
