  • Welcome to Rumare! It is a fantastic city, complete with all the attractions and tourism fodder you'd expect from any great capital. Enjoy all the fast food and fine dining, fashion, family, and whatever fantastic things you want -- Rumare is the place to be.

... Of course, no city is without it's secrets. And the Dragon Born are one of them.

The Dragon Born are few in their numbers, and they live among the humans, likely blending into society. They are an extended family, a network secret well-kept. They live scattered throughout Rumare, keeping in contact with their families.

Few Dragon Born keep quiet for long. Among them are the city's most evasive robbers, murderers, and rapists. They live on greed and temptation, and rarely deny themselves what they want.

However, some are among the streets most fearsome vigilantes, the peace keepers. They frown upon the acts of their brothers and sisters, and hope to create a better world for the people of Rumare. It is a war on the streets that is slowly gaining steam, and soon enough, the humans will be dragged into the chaos with them.

  • The city of Rumare was quiet today, and it wasn't long at all before Rin found herself wandering the streets, searching for some way to entertain herself. Normally she'd been off kicking the ass of some miscreant thug who thought he was going to make a profit of a pretty little lady, but today was different. Perhaps she'd kicked all the asses she needed to kick.

She found herself in the city park looking very out of place, her ripped clothing, jet black hair and all around rugged look hardly giving the impression of someone who would take the time to enjoy some quality time with Mother Nature. However, behind all that black eyeliner was a girl who just wanted to get to the root of it all -- get it? Root? Anyway, nature was, in itself, so complex and yet so simple, and it seemed to have all the answers. Sure, a man made park could hardly be considered true nature, but at least it provided some fresh air.

Making sure that nobody was looking, she swiftly climbed into a tree, using a little bit of air to help hoist her up. Behind the leaves, she was well concealed, and that was exactly how she liked it.

It was interesting enough to watch the people around the park -- sometimes people did the stupidest things when they though nobody was looking, and Rin saw all of it. But after a while even that got boring. And so she started screwing aroudn with the birds.

She was careful not to harm them, but it was pretty amusing in itself to see as a bird was suddenly lifted into the air by a gust of wind right beneath them, and the startled way they reacted. Some of them immediately flapped their wings and flew away, frightened, but some were even too startled to do much of anything, and Rin would have to gently lower them to the ground so they could gather their wits about them.

It was a decent form of entertainment, anyway.

The instant Rin stepped into the park, Andol saw her. Not through his own eyes, but there where thousands of little eyes that could see her and hear her. Not everyone that she passed was a spy, but some of the ants, and other bugs that crawled across the ground didn't exactlly think with there own normal minds. So unlike thier most natural reaction to flea, they instead stood there and wacthed as Rin went by... gauging her in a way that only a animal could when sizing up potential prey. Then like a army they sent to work sending the intel along, form ant to lady bug, form lady bug to spider. Creatures that would normally eat each other danced a prefectly little dance under the web of control that a odd puppet master held them on all. At the end of this train a centipede crawled up onto the bench next to where a young man sat, with a raven sitting on his shoulder... the small creature passing along a message before it slipped away. The bird which normally would have feasted on the creature, did nothing. It was well feed egough, and plus eating those who helped it's owner, well... such a thing was just... not helpful in the long run, especially becuase one lost there soliders loyallty in that manner.

On beach sat a young man, whose hair was as dark as that of his one eyed bird. His clothes looked like that of a hobo, but it was really a disguise sinice people normally just ingored and left those who looked homeless alone... it helped him to not be noticed. He wishpered softly to his pet, "Nevermore, make sure she doesn't brother your brothers too much." Andol didn't have this one pegged as a threat, but still... it was better to be safe than sorry. So the raven flew off and quickly found the tree in which Rin had decided to sit in, and it found a spot, which was plain sight of the girl... The one eyed creature stood there and looked at her, with a look of someone who was studying you very careful, and it would stay there until she deicded to turn her wind powers on it... and that would be all it needed to report what it had seen back to Andol. The bird flying back landed on the humans shoulder and with a sqawk of annoyance told Andol everything he needed to know, without actually using his abilities. So with a sigh the young man stood up saying to the bird, "So let's go greet this new vistor shall we." So he began the 15 mintue walk to the otherside of the park...

It was during that time that Andol was crossing the park, that Rin would began to notice somthing if she was paying attention. It wouldn't be somthing one would notice at first, but it was happening. Every 10 secs a few birds would show up... mostly at first they where pigoens. Then crows began to show up in the mix, and even some vultures. Though these birds would act differnt then the ones before. Any wind which was aimed at them just caused them to take off for a few seconds in annoyance, but they would quickly land back in there resepctive spots... and soon there numbers where growing... until she was surronded by hunderds of birds... all of them sitting in the trees and various perchs. Yet it wasn't just the amount, but the type had began to change in the last few mintues as Andol neared the area, the vangaurd of his flock began to show... such a various types of raptors, and egales. Included among them where the various noticable bald egales and golden egales... those where the biggest birds in the group. Plus there where plently of them.

Andol though didn't show his face at first as he found a nearbye bench and began to feed the peigons. Again his clothes kind of gave him the look of just a hobo scattering bird seed to the animals. The only think that was noticable about the figure that sat on the nearbye bench was the familer raven sitting on his shoulder, but form this distance... the missing eye was hard to see.

  • At first, the new company was of no concern to Rin. It was far easier to play around with the birds on the ground, and watch their reactions from afar. She felt as though she was well concealed, her black clothing and hair blending with the dark shadows of the branches and leaves. She was concealed, in truth, and yet her presence was still known by the quiet observer. Soon enough, as the number of birds grew, she began to feel uncomfortable, frowning at the winged beasts in frustration. She directed her wind towards the tree, trying to scare the beasts away... But they only came back!

“Where are you all coming from?” she muttered, the wind around the tree forming into a weak, invisible cyclone, the mass of birds offsetting her wind with the flapping of their wings. “Get away from here!” Of course, the birds were highly disinclined to follow her simple command, and when she was greeted by a gorgeous, frighteningly large eagle, she was stunned into silence. It perched just in front of her, seeming to stare at her with its glossy eye. Fascinated, she leaned closer, holding out her hand as though she wanted to touch it, and suddenly it let out a loud, beautiful cry. Startled, Rin screamed herself, and, inevitably, lost her balance and fell out of the tree, landing quite ungracefully.

Recovering from her fall, she noticed an onlooker just a small distance away from the tree and though she had no clue what exactly he was doing, she was instantly on the defensive. “What are you looking at? You think this is funny, don't you?”

Andol wacthed the girl in the tree closely, and seemed to be doing somthing in his lap. Of course what she would not be able to see that the young man kept hidden was a black note book... in which he was writing down ever little observation that he noticed about this girl. Especially when pretaining to her powers. When it came to fighting over the many years, and stalking single dragonborn, Andol had become quite the hunter... So he knew how to collect intel and gather information, and learn everything he could about his enemy... When it came to preparing for a battle, Andol was a genius. So he just sat there and wacthed the girls reactions to the bird which he didn't really jugde to be all that hostile, but more in the way of annoyance. He could understand why sinice the creatures where not acting in there usal manner. He wanted to snicker at it all until he figured that maybe it was time to get the girl out of the tree... there was a nest in the upper parts of the tree after all, and he didn't want the babies being distruped.

So he just glanced in her direction, about the time that she was reaching out for the egale... yet before the young man could even order the bird to do anything... it reacted on it's own. The loud sound it made, causing the girl to fall out of the tree, and Andol to start giggling. His laugh was kind of funny and in a way it broke through his diguise becuase of the completely girlish nature of the laugh. He just sat there looking in her direction as she began to stand up and brush herself... then she made one little mistake. She began to yell at Andol. The young man didn't make any movements himself, but he seemed to calm down form his laughing which was obviously derected at her, and he went back to writing as he added in new details about her in his notebook. It was obvious now that he was writing somthing down, but what was also obvious sinice she had started yelling and seeming a bit threating.

She now had ever single birds attention, include that of Nevermore... the raven who normally only looked at potential prey for his owner. Yet not only did she have there attention, but she was also hold there ire... and most of the birds seemed quite flustered, and where doing things to make themselves look bigger if they where small, and the birds of prey... where also getting very threating. Yet landing near where some of the largest birds that it was possiable to find, it was the Californa Condor... and these guys along with the Golden Egales, where like the Imperal Gaurd of Andols flock... always ready to protect the young man with which there world revolved around. Still he said nothing to her, becuase he wanted to see how she would react... he had to gauge her and see was she good or evil. That was the main question here.

Twas' but a tinge of fate and a smidge of luck that Noah was still alive today.
Alright, moreover a pinch of fate and a whole Hell-load of luck. Still, he amused himself at the constant reminder that every next stunt he pulled was potentially fatal. And pissing off a bunch of construction workers while trying to perform parkour at a construction site? That got the cops called on you. LUCKily, Noah had been long gone by then. Of course, he had merely just left as they arrived, but still. Escape was escape.

Noah had been edging on the rooftops of buildings overlooking the park for quite some time. He hummed softly to himself as he sprinted briskly, coming to an edge. He made a daft leap, spanning the gap and jumping to the next roof, way high in the air above the roads below; with ease. He landed softly and continued his daily routine, stopping abruptly though. He could see birds fathering all in one place down at the park... which could be good, or very bad. He brushed a lock of white, slightly sweaty hair from his face as he frowned softly, dropping down off the building.

Before landing, he altered his gravity to cushion his fall, making his way to the park. He kept his distance, be he could see a boy, a tree, and a whole lotta birds. Of... every kind. And.. a girl in the tree? Okay, now he was sure it couldn't be good. He gulped softly.

Nethan had gone to the park today in hope of it being empty so he could try his abilities. He was wearing a green cloak with a golden leaf on his right arm. A hooked hood and his cloak was open reavealing a red t-shirt with a venus fly trap on it. He didnt particularly blend in, atleast not with the humans. He could easily close his cloak and walk into the underbrush of the trees and not be seen. ha had decided to walk to were he saw a bench. Until he noticed the bench was ocupied and a girl screaming at the occupant. thats when he noticed all the birds and jumped into the nearest bush 'Alright then. Lets see how this goes...' he thought.

He steadily watched what happened...

Now that it had settled a bit, Noah took a quick approach, making gravity work his way to make him run faster before stopping it, and himself. He looked at the tree before shaking his head and stepping back, before freezing up. His gaze was locked onto a bush.

"Who's in there?" he called out to the bush, hand tracing his pocket, as if to pull something out.

(Mind if I changed my powers?)

(Gravity alteration gets confusing. Ever seen the green Hornet? Planning on using such a concept with unnatural levels of adrenaline to slow down his reaction time, allowing him more time to react to something.)

(as well as random tech he buys.)
Noah blinked and stepped back, gasping. "H-holy sh- wait a moment." He stopped and huffed. "Hrmph. Just another dragon born; typical," he said, shaking his head subtly to himself. "What's up with the whole get up, bud?"

(Fine with me)
"The get up?" Nethaniel looked back at Andol then he turned his attention to the birds and evolved the tree to grab the birds and eat them... As a result all of the birds flew away and it was just Nethaniel, Rin, Andol and Noah. He made the tree regular again and turned his attention to Noah. "Well I got up. Thats the get up." His gold and lime green robe shining in the sunlight. He closed his robe to cover up his red shirt.
