Since the fall of Midgar, Jenova and Sephiroth, SHIN-RA has rebuilt itself in Neo-Midgar. With Rufus' son Adrian as it's successor, it is feared by most that the violent cycle of narcissist power-hungry men will continue to control the world. A small group of rebels has decided to stand against this.

Due to SHIN-RAs' ways, Wutai has spun out of control with a vigilante rebel faction. The VRF has spread through the closest continents and nears Neo-Midgar. Neutral parties or civilians are forced to choose a side: SHIN-RA, whose offers are generous at first glance, or the VRF, whose only gift is life should you join them, otherwise they will provide you with a swift death.

Despite technology being at it's prime, many scientists and scholars still looks to the past for answers and keys to progressing civilizations. Despite Hojos' death, his works still live on- waiting to be found. Such works could be the answer to peace and equality for all, or a key into Hell.

Re: Final Fantasy 7 - Aftermath

Enter Seth

Seth grew up in a time of war. Civil war between Wutai, from the outerlanders and the Wutaians. Seth's father had served in the Wutai army, as did his father before him. It wasn't hard to imagine Seth being a military man, himself. However, Seth chose a different route. Seth was enlisted into a malitia when he was sixteen, because there was an age limit on the military.

From there, he moved onto being a mercenary, when Wutai had their peace. Seth was labeled a favorable acet to most military forces, because he was a Wutaian.

Now, Seth was in Kalm, as an undercover spy, enlisted in the Wutaian army, just as his father and grandfather before him.

Seth stood sat in the tavern, clad in a black trench coat, black slacks, and had on a black fadora. This was to hide that he was Wutaian.

After getting a drink from the barkeep, Seth took a sip, and prepared the initial attack of Kalm.

Re: Final Fantasy 7 - Aftermath

Evelyn had just returned from her raid on Junon. Junon was no longer a bustling city, but a wasteland for thugs, vigilantes and some unfortunate travelers. Rumors had been spreading, creating the belief that the VRF from Wutai had created a base in Junon. If they had, she found nothing. On the bright side, there was no way anyone would make a rebel base there now. She had slaughtered everyone and placed their bodies on pikes to worn people away.

Evelyn jumped out of the vehicle that drove her into the base. She moved some hair out of her eyes, smearing blood across her face. She disregarded it and started for one of the doors. A small portion of troops marched past her and she barked at them to stand straighter, bend their knees more. They did as they were told and hurried out of her way. Evelyn picked up a bag over her shoulder and carried it in through that door, ignoring everyone from this point until she made it to her office.

Her office was a bit run down- nothing important. It was just a place she could get messy without anyone badgering her to clean it up. It was more of a closet than anything. A very large closet... ok, it was a storage closet that she raided to make her own- big deal. Evelyn kicked the door open and walked in, then shut the door with her foot. She walked over to the desk and turned on the lamp, then dropped the bag.

[I wasn't sure where to start so I went with that :)]

[I'm going to go ahead and post little profile :) It just makes me more comfortable]

Name: Evelyn Swane
Age: 21
Gender: Female
Weapon: Hand-to-Hand/Gauntlets
Materia: Ifrit/Comet
Appearance: Evelyn: Her attire generally consists of spandex or latex pants, a leather jacket with a torn t-shirt underneath. She usually wears leather gloves over her hands and will, in extreme cases, fight with gauntlets. Her hair is to the middle of her black in length and black in color.
Body Type: [Toned] D-Cup / Hourglass shape / Broad Shoulders / Tiny Waist / Wide hips
Personality: Evelyn is a hot-head. She does what she wants, when she wants and how she wants to. She doesn't take orders very well and she makes sure SHIN-RA knows that she's a third party. Evelyn has no problem killing in cold blood- because all blood is the same. If she deems someone a threat or a waste of space, she will kill them without a second thought.
Biography: Evelyn grew up with a nomad civilization. During her travels, she came across a few pieces of materia. The first materia she kept was a summon materia. She kept it in her body, the materia maturing with her, until it fused with her flesh. Shortly after reaching maturity, the materia would react with her emotions. This led to the destruction of her nomad tribe, sending her on a journey to find a new calling. She was recruited in SHIN-RA and climbed the ladder until she became General. Evelyn left SHIN-RA for a period of time and came back as a Mercenary. She still has her General ranking despite her rate of pay and her freedoms.

Name: Ishu/ACACIA
Age: 19
Gender: Female
Weapon: X
Materia: X
Appearance: Acacia has bright blue eyes, pale, ivory-white skin. Her hair is down past her ankles in length and white in color. She wraps a piece of material around parts of her hair to separate it or to keep it from dragging on the floor. Her hair is sometimes braided, and other times it may drape over her shoulders and against her back. She refuses to cut it. As for her attire, she wears a thin layer of material for her body suit. It is made of natural fibers and cannot be removed from her skin. It may collect in one location, such as a small circle on the back of her neck, then stretch out over her body when it is needed. In the work place, she will generally wear a simple white dress; long-sleeved, a collar that reaches to her jaw, covering her neck. In the outside world she will take on the persona of a white mage.
Body Type: [Slim] C-Cup / Pear-Shape / Medium Shoulders / Small Waist / Wide hips
Personality: Acacia has absolutely no social skills. She does not speak and generally only listens to Adrian. If a person enters the room and she deems their request for her is of importance, then she will oblige with their requests. Her mind works like that of a robot, and it is obvious to those with higher intellect. If she were to interact with an ignorant or unintelligent person, they would think she was slow or that she might be missing a few screws.
Biography: ACACIA was discovered in an underground laboratory left behind by Hojo. It was a collection of his last and most precious projects. She happened to be the main event. The new SHIN-RA Head Scientist found her and labeled her as garbage after accidentally reviving her. He offered her to Adrian, SHIN-RAs new President as a gift. She now does Adrians' bidding. All of the data on her original programming was lost- so her original purpose is unknown.

Name: Evan
Age: 25
Gender: Female
Weapon: Horns/Fangs/Claws/Tail
Materia: X

Body Type: [Athletic/Shapely] E-Cup / Hourglass shape / Broad Shoulders / Medium Waist / Wide hips
Personality: Evan is the kind of person who plays with her food before she eats it- literally. All work and no play makes Evan a very horny girl. She actually hates working and prefers to run around like the animal she is. However, she will listen to Evelyn no matter the consequences- unless it puts Evelyn in danger. Evan is a force to be reckoned with in battle. She may have a humans body-but she has the ferocity of a crazed monster.
Biography: Evan was a participant in a human/monster gene splice project. She is part human and part monster who mostly runs off of her monster instincts. She escape from her testing facility and ran rampant for some time. It wasn't until she met Evelyn [during the time Evelyn left SHIN-RA] that her monstrous genetics calmed. By joining Evelyn as a companion, she has been able to redevelop her human personality. She sometimes refers to Evelyn as her master.

Name: Kodoo
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Weapon: Hand-to-Hand/Sword/Sniper Bazooka
Materia: Enhancement Materia / Odin / Experimental Bahamut Summon
Appearance:Kodoo His hair is long, to his mid back, and is completely black. His eyes are a blue-grey. He stands at about 6'5" with broad shoulders and a slim but musuclar build.
Personality: He's the quiet brooding type. He doesn't have much to say, but when he opens his mouth he tends to be a bit of a smart ass. He delivers his words with a careless ease that comes in a package of cynicism and a dash of sarcasm. He doesn't care much for anyone around him- he just wants to get paid.
Biography: He was a bar owner/mercenary who eventually joined the Turks. He left his bar in his hometown- which was burnt to the ground by the Wutain VRF. Before that he had developed a relationship with a certain ShinRa General. His joining the Turks was what split them up- after she had already left ShinRa for good. She had told him they were no good but went against her wishes anyway. The two still have feelings for each other but she is too stubborn to acknowledge him. It is believed, among those lucky few who catch a slice of gossip, that something else happened in their relationship. He is one of the best the Turks have seen in generations. // Shortly after joining the Turks he took part in a few different experiments. His body has been enhanced- multiplying his strength, endurance and defenses. He has the power of more than 50 men in one hand. His capabilities are not obvious until he holds a mans face in his palm and crushes his skull like a toothpick.

Enter Adrian

Adrian ShinRa was the nephew of Rufus ShinRa. He is now in charge of ShinRa Co. Under his rule, he reigns in tyranny. However, most of all he does, is sit around his mansion, with his cute maid. However, every now and then, he goes on a mission with SOLDIER.

Right now, Adrian was waiting on his lunch. He had heard some bad news about Junon. Apparently, there were no rebel soldiers there. This will look bad on his public image. Oh well... who cares about a bunch of thugs. However, that Evelyn needs to be taught a lesson.

Acacia

Acacia was in a nearby kitchen area, chopping up a head of lettuce. She was very direct with her movements, especially when wielding an object with weapon potential. She sliced the hatchet into the cutting board and layered the lettuce onto a slice of bread, followed by meat, cheese and Adrians' favorite condiment. She moved to a small fridge and took out a carbonated beverage, poured it into a glass filled with ice and set it down on a tray. Acacia finished furnishing the sandwich and placed it onto a plate, then placed that onto a tray.

She removed the hatchet from the cutting board and rinsed it off, then retrieved a large orange. She held it against the cutting board and sliced through, the sound of the hatchet hitting the wood vibrating in her ears and traveling through the walls. While she was quiet, some would say she might be too quiet. The hollow, emotionless depth in her eyes has given some people the creeps. Add a hatchet in her hands into the mix and it could drive some people crazy. She sliced into the cutting board again, a third time and a final fourth time. She put the orange slices into a bowl and put it on the tray next to his drink. Acacia picked up the tray and took it out to Adrian, setting it down in front of him.

Evelyn

Evelyn dumped the contents of the bag onto the desk and spread them out. Her nostrils flared to certain smell; she picked up a limb she had retrieved and immediately re-wrapped it in plastic before sticking it back into the bag. She took a seat and looked at the objects she had retrieved. She wasn't completely sure of their original- but considering the band of thugs hanging out in the area, these items could belong to anyone.

Although, the thugs weren't strong enough to go too far out of Junon without putting their entire population at risk and leaving their home base completely unprotected. So, whoever they stole these items from would have to have been traveling fairly close to their borders.

Adrian looked at her, and then patted her on her behind. "Thank you." He said. He started to eat, and turned on his TV, going to the news. Seems the rebels were copying the legendary Rebel force known as AVALANCHE. A Mako Reactor attacked. Adrian just smirked. He didn't care about the mako. That was the military's problem.

After eating for a while, he finished, and set it down. "I'm going out." He said.

Seth walked out of the bar, and then jumped straight up ontop of it. From there he took off his outfit, and revealed his normal outfit. He smiled. "It's time to begin." He said. He then looked down at the people of Kalm. "Hope they decide to cooperate." He said.

Seth jumped down, and summoned Typhoon. "We'll put up our base here." Ten other Wutaians came up behind him. "Disperse, attack, show no mercy." He said, and the ten of them spread out, while Typhoon started to destroy the buildings.

Acacia

After receiving a pat of gratitude, she stood next to him and faced the tv. She glanced at the screen from time to time, but mostly kept her attention on the wall. Once Adrian was done eating, she removed the tray and took it back into the kitchen. Acacia returned to him and registered his statement. She nodded to him and walked away to retrieve his coat, then came back with it and held it up to help him put it on.

Evelyn

While rummaging through some of the objects she found little of interest. A Merchant from the new Fort Condor Valley had a set of arrows swiped. Some passerby lost some jewelry and a sack full of Gil. She finally came across a Wutai knife. Proof! They were at least nearby- maybe it was a scout unlucky enough to get completely surrounded. Evelyn stood up and retrieved a clipboard. She scribbled down the information she'd found before tearing off the paper and walking out of the closet, shutting the door behind her and running off to find [I dunno who she would report to.]

Adrian smiled as she got the coat. He put it on. "Also, fetch me my guns." He said, referring to his two pistols. Quicksilver, and Spitfire. He turned the TV off, and tucked in his shirt. "Would you like to come with me?"

Seth continued to ravage the buildings, people fleeing around, and being round up by his men. They were given two options. Join the rebellion, or die. There was no room for nuetrality, and leaving people time to decide meant they might decide to join ShinRa. That was unacceptable.

(Report it to Dragor.)

Dragor was standing on the outside of Junon, waiting. He wore black torn clothes, and a red belt tied to keep his pants up. His skin was pure crystalline scales.

His crystal blue eyes looked around the area. He sniffed the air, and his eyes moved to the direction of Kalm.

Acacia

Acacia turned and walked over to a large chest. She opened it and took out a case, then unlocked the case and pulled out two pistols. She closed the case and put it back, then took the guns to Adrian. She was very careful with them, carrying their wait with caution.

He'd asked her if she wanted to go with him, causing a line to light up around her pupils and dilate on its' own. She nodded. The reaction was common when she was given the option to join him and any weapon happened to be in sight. He wouldn't know it now, but one day he would learn she was putting her guard up- to protect him.

Evelyn

She came running out of the half-destroyed base and yelled out to Dragor, "Hey! I found something!!" Evelyn came to a slow stop next to her partner and held up the small knife, "It's from Wutai- I think it's a scout edition." She went on explaining the possible scenario and soon noticed his fixation on... well, she wasn't sure. "What's wrong?"

[I'm assuming she is with Dragor - otherwise she calls him and tells him]

"Alright then. Come now." Adrian said. "We're going to head over to Kalm. I heard of some terrorist threats over there... might be Wutai behind it. I'm going to call Dragor and Evelyn to come with us." He told her. "Just to be safe.

Dragor looked over to her. "Oh, nothing. Just a bad feeling." He said. Sure enough, his PHS started ringing. He opened it up. "Yeah?" He asked. "Right." "Okay..." "Gotcha..."

"That was from Adrian. We're going to escort him over to Kalm.

Seth had a group of people who were willing to fight. His numbers had grown from ten, to thirty. This is why he loved his job. "Alright. Everyone, let's put up the mark." He said to his Wutaians. "No point in setting up a base, let's just aim to move to another town."

Acacia

She nodded a recognition and retrieved some supplies for their short trip.

Evelyn

"Now?" She frowned, "Alright. Give me a minute." She ran back inside to get her things, throwing everything back into the bag. She put it onto her back and tightened the straps just enough to keep the bag on her while she ran. Evelyn ran back out to him and slowed down to a job, "I'm ready!" She didn't stop, she'd just slowed enough to give him the green light before jogging past him and continuing into a run. They'd have to hurry if they were going to make it there even at the same time as Adrian.

Adrian walked out to the balcony, and got on the railing. He jumped off, as if it was nothing strange, and free-fell, his coat blowing in the wind. Getting halfway there, he let out a hook, connected to a cord, which came out of a funky bracelet on his wrist. That slowed him down to a stop. He did it all the time... mainly to look cool.

Dragor nodded. Transparent wings came out of his body, ripping his shirt off, and he took the the skies. He made sure that Evelyn could keep up with his pace.

Seth was sitting in the tavern, with his legs propped up on the bar. "ANOTHER ROUND ON THE HOUSE!" He exclaimed victoriously, as beers were thrown to everyone who was in the tavern, and now under his rule.

Acacia

Acacia watched him jump from the balcony, recalling a few other times he had done so. She walked over to the railing and looked over to make sure he had made it. Once she saw he'd made it alright, she walked back into the building and headed for the elevator.

After about five minutes, she walked out of the building and approached Adrian.

Evelyn

Eve did a lot of running in her job, so keeping up wasn't much of a problem for her. As they traveled, they came across many monsters. For the most part, Evelyn would dodge them and continue running. There were a few she had the jump over and punch or kick in the face along the way. A few of the monsters died instantly- weaklings.

Adrian blinked. "You should have just road with me." He said. "Now then...." He put his two fingers up to his mouth and whistled. Soon a motorcycle with a side car drove itself around the corner, and parked in front of them. Adrian got onto the bike part. "Get in."

Dragor swooped down, every now and then to pick up a monster, and as he got high enough, ended up just dropping it. He seemed to be enjoying himself.

Acacia

The thought of joining him on the line had not crossed her mind. She put his statement away in her memory for later. He told her to get into the side car and examined it. IT looked safe enough. She stepped in and sit down, then buckled herself in.

Evelyn

They made it to the caverns with little problems. It wasn't until they made it to the exit that would lead them to a wasteland that Evelyn PHSed Dragor. He hadn't come in with her. [I'm assuming because it would be faster and easier for him to fly over the mountains] "Uh, Dragor... I have a problem in here." She stepped down and rolled behind a mass of rocks before a mass of teeth could capture her. She PHSed him again, "Dragor! It's right in the exit- I can't take it alone!"

The monster lashed out again, but this time at a pillar of stone, breaking it and causing rocks to fall around her. Evelyn put her arms up and waited for the rocks to stop falling. Her defenses were fading, "Shit!" When did this thing get here? She hadn't seen one on the way to Junon. Maybe.... oh no! If the Wutai VRF was dipping into science and made a Midgar-Zolom- they were all fucked! Unless it was a natural manifestation... or someone was fucking around with old SHIN-RA science records.

She cursed to herself and science and got on all fours, her eyes meeting the Zoloms'. She licked her lips and waiting for it to lash out. She flipped into the air and landed on its' head, grabbing onto what may be considered its' brow to stay on. Evelyn had killed a Midgar Zolom on her own before, but this one was different. The coloring was way off; it looked more tropical. It's level was obviously higher and it was meaner. There was monster blood smeared all over its' face and its' eyes were dilated. Pheromones maybe? "Who the fuck did this!" She let out a howl of rage and tightened her grip as the Zolom thrashed, "DRAGOR!!!"

Adrian took off towards Kalm, speeding off through the streets. The gates from Neo-Midgar opened up for them as they rode by.

Dragor landed on the outside of the cave, and pulled out his sword. "Fear the pride of SOLDIER!" He yelled, as he charged in.

His sword stuck through the monster, from behind, having a sneak attack. "Now... Bolt3!" He yelled, and sent the electricity through his sword.

However, that was when he was smacked to the side by the monster's tail. "SH-!" He had gotten out, before he landed in the water.

"Oh... HELL no." He growled. "STEP BACK!"

Acacia

She stared straight ahead during the ride. They evaded the majority of the monsters they came across and managed to out-speed the others.

Evelyn

Evelyn held on as tight as she could while the Zolom flailed about. She slipped on one side and hung from it's face. ITs' tongue swept over her body, causing her to yell out. She punched her fist into its' eye and used it to put herself back up. The Zolom shrieked and thrashed about, throwing her off of it and into a cavern wall.

Adrian stopped the bike. "We'll wait until we hear word from the others." He said.

Dragor flew into the air. "Evelyn. Cover your eyes." He said. He was about to use his signature move. He extended his arms. His body was in the way on the sun, but soon his scales stared to blend together, creating a magnifying glass.

He started absorbing the light from the sun until he was shining an intense light. "SOLAR FLARE!" He yelled, and shot a giant blast of solar energy at the monster.

Acacia

Acacia nodded to him and kept a look out.

Evelyn

She put her arms up over her face and turned to the side. Even though her eyes were closed, she could feel the heat and see the light. The shriek of the Zolom filled her ears and echoed through the cave, terrifying monsters of all kinds. Once the light faded, she uncovered her face. The sight she was met with was both horrid and beautiful. The Zoloms' torso had been incinerated- the same spot the flare hit it.

Evelyn got up to her feet and walked over to it, "wow...." She crouched down and took a sample of its' flesh and blood, then stop up. She looked up at Dragor and gave him a thumbs up. She was ready to keep going.

Dragor looked down at her, panting. If he was anyone else, he would have incinerated himself with that attack, from the massive heat. Soon his wings gave out, and he started to fall. "This doesn't look good." He said. His wings had taken the damage from that attack, as well... they were burnt.

Evelyn

Her eyes widened as she watch him start to fall. She jumped over the zoloms' head and ran over, throwing her arms out and catching him in her arms. She fell forward with him, but at least she broke his fall. "Ah..." She made a face and pulled her head back, getting her hair out from under him, "You ok?"

"Yeah. Risky business being part dragon." He said, and stood up. He started dusting himself off. At this point, his clothes were burnt off. "Risky indeed." He walked over to his sword, and pulled it out of the carcus of the monster. He then started to walk towards Kalm. "Come on."

Evelyn

She got up and dusted herself off, then followed after him, "Are you going to be ok with walking?" She was kind of making fun of him since he flew everywhere. She wondered how long it would take his wings to heal.

He looked behind himself to her. "Sure I'll be fine. Next time we come across a monster, try an attack other than screaming at it." He said, with a smirk on his face.
