"Easier said than done." She panted as she was clinging to the wall kicking a smaller roach off the wall to keep it from slamming into her. The other two ladies now with some cover had turned and were shooting at the big bug since it was hard to miss, but since it was so big it wasn't really slowing it down. Not visibly as of yet. He'd have a smaller bug flying at his face trying to latch on.

"Sorry I'm usually the one sucking face." He stated as he shot several of the smaller ones with his rifle blasting them away aggressively. He was not going to get attacked again and was planning to deal with the big one in a moment but it wouldn't be able to get through the doorways it looked like.

He got covered in goo once the plasma bolts hit the roach. Thankfully it was just typical bug goo and not plasma melt your face goo. "Not kissing you for awhile till you clean up." Mira said booting a roach.

"You haven't touched in ages, how is that a punishment., that's just tuesday." He countered as he wiped it off his face before running over and helped by giving one roach a double boot, goomba stomp while he fired on the semi-truck of roach.

"You're right. I'll have to inform everyone else to not swap fluids with you for a bit." She said as she joined in the Goomba stomp. Between the two of them they squished with a satisfying crunch. The biggest though merely turned still eager for more violence as it scuttled with surprisingly agility back into a ramming position and came sprinting at them.

Tony nodded as he jumped on another and then kept firing on the big one. "oy, you sorry excuse for a dodge cockroach, come here!" He stood on the railing as he fired on the big bastard a few more times to provoke it to come back towards him since there was some gaps below.

The thick shell would deflect several of the blasts from his plasma defender. The blasts hitting some lights and the ceiling causing glass to explode and scorch marks to appear where the blasts hit. The skittering sound accompanied by a bit of shaking as it came charging back towards him.

Tony would switch to his accelerator rifle and then fire on the creature. He'd wait for it to get the closer and then he'd jump the railing going down and under the catwalk before coming around to the other side.

The rifle seemed to have some more kick to it and would stagger the creature. Mira would drop a grenade in front of it and cheese it out of there before it exploded making it rear up waving its legs in agony at the loss of its antenna.

Tony took advantage of the creature rearing up, as he fired on the exposed underbelly and firing at it repeatedly. He was aiming for the higher parts that were reared up in hopes the bug would fall over onto it's back.

With the under belly exposed the plasma shots finally started to have an effect. The shell had been seemingly impervious to damage, but its soft underside had been a ripe target. It would screech and fall over twitching after he unloaded a clip into it. The twitching would continue for a good bit sadly in a grotesque manner.

Tony saw the target and braced himself a bit more. He'd fire a clip into it and then waited. With no more roaches he'd sit there and aim a fresh clip at the roach. "Just let go ahead..." He told the creature.

Goo spurted onto the wall in response before it stopped twitching. "Is it dead?" Came Jewel's call from down the corridor. "That thing was the biggest roach I've ever seen in my life and that's a terrible thing to have to say."

"Let's make sure." He stated as he pulled a frag grenade out. "Everyone move ahead I'm gonna stick it in the hole, you all know I can do it." He stated with a chuckle and waited for a safe distance before he tossed the primed grenade in and ran away.

"Sex jokes about explosives and roaches are gross. Don't be gross." Cat called before the boom went off splattering the hall in more radioactive rad-roach goo. Now it was a bit of overkill on his part for that bit.

"I know, but I'd rather not see it come back again like the terminator." He explained and then rejoined the group quickly as they continued to explore the Vault. Though he'd keep his weapon drawn now and ED-E at the ready to scan.

Down the hallway the roaches had been in they'd find the remains of what may have been the remains of ten years supply emergency food supplies. So this wasn't a real vault, but whomever had been in charge had thought ahead somewhat. They'd find a small crack in the lab wall that was likely where the roaches had come from. They'd also find a room with toxic waste barrels near testing labs with some eggs in it explaining how the roaches got so large.

Tony nodded as he looked at the supplies and then glanced into the room with the toxic waste. "Nope, not a real vault, which means we have another to check in the area." He explained as he closed the door with the radiation. "Let's keep looking, there is probably some store rooms here somewhere, we'll loot up and get out..." He remarked but was surprised his pip-boy still let them in all the same to this fake vault.

He'd get his answer as to why it let them in in the next room. There was a vault tec logo in what appeared to be the managers office. At a desk there was a monitor that still had power in the room with flickering lights. In a chair was a skeleton in a lab coat over a managerial janitor outfit. There was a revolver on the ground and a hole in its head making it clear that at some point someone opted to end it all.

Tony looked at the women and then back at the corpse in the room. He'd grab the revolver and check it before putting it into his pack. He looked around to where the bullet hole should have been in the room before checking the terminal that still had some power to it. "Let's see what they were working on in here."

The round had impacted on the opposite wall after exiting the man's head. The old name tag was just barely legible and it read "Reggie." Once on the terminal he'd find several different messages. The first couple were labeled status reports, clean up reports, and then emergency messages the day the bombs dropped. Then the last seemed to be a message a year or two after the bombs dropped merely labeled "I'm sorry."

Tony looked over everything and then glanced at the hole as it looked right for suicide. "Mostly just nothing here from Reggie the head janitor..." He stated. "But it seems he was apologizing at the end... so something happened here in the two years between his ventilation and the bombs dropping." He considered and attempted to look more at the reports for what might be in here. "If I have to guess since it lacks a proper note for his ventilation he might have done something wrong and regretted it."

Once he read from the memo he'd find that Reggie had been trying to continue the de-radiation experiments carried on here. He however was a janitor that was working on a bachelor's in science. So he didn't have the skill to get any further with the experiment. Instead he did his best to keep up the decontamination arrays in the best condition he could in hopes anyone who found the place to put them to good use. He just didn't see a way out and the others had died trying to get supplies so he couldn't stand to be out there alone.

Tony considered it as he looked over everything there. "They were doing de-radiation experiments here. Janitor was trying and failing to continue it." He suggested as he extracted whatever data he could from the terminal. "We should keep going through see if we can find the rest of the data, or supplies here for all this research."

The research wasn't hard to find. It was on another terminal, but it looked like a lot of simply failed tests with various different mixes of rad away. The other was trying to make a kind of crop duster to de radiate an area, but they couldn't get the mixture right. He did however find that there was a deradiation device for people in storage. One that could remove some rads provided the person wasn't glowing or a ghoul.

Tony would take note of it as he copied it to a data storage for his pipboy. "This is good at least, gives people something to consider and work on." He thought and then finished there. "But... looks like there is a deraditation device for people in here somewhere. So let's go grab it." He told the group.
