I Want You To Be My Last (PoisonousIvee/Mr.Aznable)

She felt decently comfortable around him, and she kept asking him to help her. She would buy lunch, whatever he wanted

"C-Caeda not have to...!" He was always so embarrassed when she brought lunch, "Aphron helping, not ask for anything back...!"

He liked the fatty meats she brought him and always offered to compensate her, as gnoll specific foods were always so costly. In the time they studied together, Caeda learned that Aphron was actually adopted by a rather kind Leonin couple; the gnoll clan Aphron belonged to returned to their ancestral home and Aphron wouldn't have survived as a newborn cub. So, instead of killing him, as tradition demanded, they offered him up.

He was kind and smart, always wanting to do what she wanted, offered to buy her food when they studied. He even remembered how she liked her coffee and would being her some if the school day was especially terrible to her.

There was no way she could be falling for him. Yeah, he was handsome...and charming...and funny...but there was no way he was interested! He was just there to help her!

Aphron thought about her all the time. He was damn near obsessed. She was so nice and so beautiful. She didn't find his excited giggling weird, and she wasn't afraid. He didn't have friends, people were always scared of him. Gnolls are crazy, he always heard, they'll gobble you up the first chance they get. He never once wanted to eat anyone, but Mama told him that people were afraid of things they never understood. If people actually took the time, they would like him. He was so glad Caeda liked him.

He beat himself up every time he thought of her sexually. He couldn't and shouldn't be thinking that way. But how could he not? He was a male, after all.

Would she be offended of he asked her to go steady? He frowned softly; would she take it as if he was trading his tutoring for them dating? He whined softly as he laid his head on the table, waiting for Caeda to arrive for tutoring. He was such a bastard.

He nodded, "I am doing well." His speech was slow, signalling he was struggling not to drop into Low Common.

He helped her rather happily, as he always did. Any questions she had, he answered or helped her figure out on her own. When he thought she wasn't paying attention, he just watched her with soft eyes, longing eyes.
