The air was bitterly cold, the wind sliced through the forest, leaving a breath of fog in its wake. The ground was partially frozen; the winters were always especially vicious. A petite, fragile hand began to wiggle from beneath a pile of cold, pale flesh. The blood had dried, leaving a rather dark crimson coated over the dead, and tainting the skin of a woman that began to emerge from the carnage. Various scars covered her body, one, however, stood out. It took several long moments for the blonde haired woman to stumble back from the hell that stood before her. It was hard to believe that she had been in that pile, presumed dead. Each and every corpse she could name, yet the emotion seemed to remain frozen. There was no hint of sadness, no hint of relief at being alive. There was one reason why she was completely numb. Natalia Shonski was no longer human.

The hunter’s code demanded that if a hunter was compromised, they were obligated to take their own life. It was a simple fix to a wider problem. After all, they were destined to kill every last monster, they couldn’t very well switch sides. The Hunter’s Council were a group of experienced hunters, they kept track of every hunter and their current missions. The Council may have changed, but it still remained. Which meant that Natalia’s father would soon miss his report in date; and therefore Natalia would have to call in as she was registered as an active hunter. The twenty-five year old had been hunting since her eighteenth birthday; she was as well trained, her skills focused more on manipulation than brute force, considering her petite five foot five frame. Nevertheless, she was a weapon to be reckoned with.

Glimpses of the night before passed in her mind; her father’s past had come back for him, and in a big way. Natalia had locked her mother and sister in their home before racing out to join him. Unfortunately, if she re-joined her family, she’d only put them in danger. Hunters would soon be sent out to assess what happened at the farm; all she could do was check on them and do the only thing that would keep them safe. Die.

The female swiftly made her way through the icy breeze, her skin no longer feeling the lashes of elemental force. By the time she’d approached her home, she could see her mother and sister in the kitchen. The warm golden light illuminated the otherwise dark morning. Her mother was talking on the phone, it seemed Natalia had been out for several days. There were arrangements being made. Natalia knew her mother must have been hurting; the Council would refuse to allow her to give her daughter a funeral until they’d inspected it. And by the sounds of it, they were on their way. A soft, gentle curse escaped Natalia’s lips. As she gazed into the window she noticed a blonde woman staring back toward her. The eyes held little life; there was only a piercing ice blue gaze, light blonde curls spiralled across her shoulders, messy and tainted with dirt. It was only when she blinked that she noticed it was her reflection.

As the newly turned she wolf watched her remaining family, she couldn’t help but think of her father. He wasn’t just a good hunter, he was a good trainer and a good father. A rage began to simmer from the very depths of her consciousness. Him. The Alpha. It was his fault, it was his pack. Everything inside her tried to remind herself of the Code, and how it should be respected. Yet, all she could think about was justice. Revenge. As a Werewolf, she would be stronger, faster and far more agile than she’d been as a human. Natalia could remove the creature that took her father’s life from the face of the earth. She could make things right.

After weeks of training, Natalia was finally feeling she was getting the hang of her new self. Every morning she woke at the peak of dawn, taking to the woods for training. The female had hunted everything she could find, and more importantly, she’d focused on listening to her new instincts. Rage drove her every movement, every night before she slept she would remind herself why she was doing this. Why she was allowing her loved ones to think she had died that night. In fact, it wasn’t as false as it seemed; the true Natalia did die that night. A woman that her old life wouldn’t recognise rose to take her place.

For weeks now, she’d been tracking the very pack that she’d smelled at the macabre scene. No doubt they would have noticed their contacts and friends of friends running into a rather dark fate. Every wolf Natalia came across that knew anything about this pack were soon tortured, then left diced into pieces in hidden locations. The thick scent of blood would alert any Werewolf in the area, and it was definitely intended to be a message to whoever stumbled across it. Their days were numbered.

One particular wolf had informed Natalia of a bar that many of his kind attended. It was known as a safe place for their kind, wolf run and owned. It was perfect. That night, she planned to find out all that she needed to hunt this pack down. One by one, she’d take them. Or at least, she planned to.

Several hours after the sun had set Natalia stepped from the abandoned house she’d been squatting in. The she wolf was dressed in well fitted dark wash jeans, they hugged her curves perfectly. As well as a standard pair of knee high brown boots with a minor heel, the t-shirt she selected had a rather deep V-neck, revealing an ample cleavage as well as displaying her hourglass figure. Despite the weather, the female only wore a short, black leather jacket over her top, just enough to keep her warm. It would be a shame if she had to rip her new clothing just to take out some petty wolves. The blonde still struggled to cope with the fact that she was in fact one of them.

By the time she arrived in town, the bar was clearly somewhat busy. The scents drifting from the establishment were clearly wolf scents from the hint of musk. The female simply tried to ignore how many different scents she caught as she made her way up toward the front door. The scent of beer and old, rustic wood hit her nostrils the moment she took several steps inside. There were more than she expected; to fool anyone into coming with her, Natalia would need to drag them a far distance before even considering torturing them. Not only because it was a town, but the amount of Werewolves in this bar would prove to be her demise, should she rattle them.

“A beer, please.” A warm, feminine tone emerged from her lips as Natalia hopped up onto a bar stool, crossing her legs rather daintily. There was another way she could go about this, she could attempt to join a pack. Surely he wouldn’t remember her face? It would be a risk, but was it less so than trying to pick them off one by one? As her beer arrived, the female slid a note across the bar, offering the middle aged, rough looking male a smile. Thankfully, she’d learned to control her emotions, for now, at least. Her focus was clear, untainted by distractions.

After an hour or so, Natalia got lucky. A familiar scent entered the bar, it must have been someone from the pack she’d smelled that night. It was a scent she’d never forget. A man about her age settled next to her, ordering the same as she had done. “What’s a woman like you do doin’ here alone?” It was incredibly cliché, but Natalia wasn’t going to pass this up. “Well, a woman like me needs a pack. Where better to shop for one than a bar?” A playful smirk began to cross her lips, which was soon mirrored on the man next to her.

“If you’re serious, there are many packs to choose from in here. Although, I’d recommend mine.” The female chuckled softly, “Well then, where is your Alpha? I surely need to speak to him.” It was an assumption on her part that his Alpha was male; it was rare to find a female in that position. “He’ll be here soon,” The sooner the Alpha arrived, the sooner she could assume a position in a pack and find out what she so desired. Soon, it would all be over.

The night of the attack on the Hunter barn had been something that Alex and his pack had been putting off for almost a decade. The Hunter's were relentless in their goal of ridding the world of the 'monsters' that lived among them. However that was a goal that just could not be reached. There were too many of them, outnumbering humans actually. Yet they were brutal in their attempts. Since they saw them as monsters, they killed them like monsters. Killing whole families or anyone associated with them. Alex had been on the receiving end of that blind hatred more than once. His mother and father had been killed by hunters when he was still a juvenile and luckily his father had taught him enough about being an Alpha that he could just kind of run with it as he grew.

His pack mates had been demanding revenge for their fallen loved ones and friends and Alex had held out as long as he could simply to not draw unwanted attention to the pack. However as the killing got worse Alex had enough. The night of the raid, his pack had come out in force and while they'd lost some members, the humans were just overwhelmed. Alex had one rule, they only killed hunters. If the human didn't smell like a hunter, they were left alone. Even if they did smell like a Hunter, children were left alone as well. They were called monsters and hunted like them but they didn't need to act like them. Alex had been the one to make the killing blow on the male who'd single handedly killed so many of his own. His soldiers had wounded him and Alex brought a strong clawed hand across his face, snapping his neck from the sheer impact of his hand. The blood that splattered the soil was hot and the thick coppery scent of blood filled his lungs.

Once that was done, he'd noticed the female heading his way, cutting down his kin. So he'd moved around behind her and as she came to her father's side he sank his fangs deep into her shoulder and slammed a fist into the back of her head to knock her out. Hunter's were told to commit suicide if turned. What better way to slap her in the face then to have her end her own life? With that, he and his pack gathered their dead and left. That night, in the pack's most sacred grounds, they'd buried their dead and prayed that their run through the eternal forest was peaceful. Once that was done, they all headed back to their home city and tried to continue on with life.

Life in the pack was run by Alex. Being an Alpha was not easy. He was in charge of his pack mates. Making sure they were safe and cared for. Making sure they had homes and food, as well as protection. The club that so many wolves gathered at was his personally owned club that helped create income for himself and his pack. He owned a few clubs and bars where it was a neutral ground as well as a recruiting area. Wolves who had no pack could come and seek out a pack to belong to. All packs were allowed there, Alpha's as well but there was a strict no fighting rule in or around the establishment. All scuffles would be settled by that pack mate's Alpha.

The word had begun to spread about a week ago of wolves from various packs disappearing and when they were tracked down...eventually, they were found dead and dismembered. Naturally this raised a lot of questions and cause for concern since none of the wolves would have gone near a Hunter. That meant it was either some random human or one of their own. Most of the dead wolves had been dead too long to get a good trace on the killer. The most recent one however was still fresh and it was discovered that it was another wolf. That made packs very cautious of one another as thorough inspections began happening through the packs. Checking each member for traces of blood scents on them. No one was guilty. Alex had been on the phone for the last three days with all of the other Alphas in the area getting information from them as well as revealing that no one in his pack was the killer either. This meant that they had a rogue wolf to deal with.

The night of the bar Alex was sitting in the limo out front and speaking with one of the other Alpha's on the Eastern side of the city. They'd caught the scent of a wolf who stank of blood. She'd entered his club about an hour ago and was currently speaking to one of his soldiers. Thanking the male he told him that he'd handle it as it was in his bar. If she tried to run, then she was fair game to the other packs in the area. Naturally this had a lot of people all standing outside, their Alpha's with them as they were waiting to see if the female would try and leave the bar. If she did, she was fresh meat waiting to be ripped into by a good number of wolves. Wolves who were born with their abilities, learned how to weed through the scents in their area and focus on certain ones. As he stepped out of the limo into the cool night air, he'd instantly caught the scent of fear, death and torture in the air. All of these scents were resonating from one individual. Looking at his black leather boots as he stood on the smooth pavement he sighed a bit.

Walking past the string of people he pushed the door open and the wolves in the bar all went still. They kept their eyes cast down and as the music stopped the sea of people all moved as Alex had a clear line of sight to the female at the bar. The soldier there stood up and moved into the crowd to get out of the way. Alex simply stood there in a thin v-necked white Affliction t-shirt and a pair of light blue faded jeans. Thick arms were resting to his sides as he focused a pair of crystal blue eyes on the female.

Well I'll be damned. The hunter from the farm. Apparently honoring her Hunter code was second on the list of things to do. That explained why she stank of blood. It wouldn't take a genius to figure out that her cover was blown as all eyes were on her and she was vastly out gunned here. Should she fight, she'd end up being a red stain on the floor before she got two feet closer to him. Crossing those thick arms over his chest Alex shook his head.
"Fun fact about Wolves. We can smell our own on you. Just cause you washed the blood off, doesn't mean it's gone. So. You have two choices. Die here, or step outside and face the justice of the six other packs waiting for you."
He said as he looked at her and watched how she'd respond. Unfortunately, she was one of theirs and while she'd committed some serious crimes, if she chose sanctuary in his pack, he was forced to give it to her till she made another mistake.

Natalia was busy sipping her beer as she heard the room fall silent. Footfalls drew closer as the bar remained quiet. A rather playful smirk began to cover her lips as she turned to face the very man she wanted to find. Perfect. He looked larger in his human form, then again, he’d been a rather large wolf. Needless to say, the very sight of him caused adrenaline to race through her body; and it wasn’t the exciting kind. The blonde listened to every word, a hint of curiosity peeking from her features as she slid from the stool, taking one step toward him in a slow motion. Natalia could sense the tension in the room, everyone was focused on her, if she made a move to harm the Alpha before her, it would mean her death. “How sweet.” Her tone was rather bitter as her hues misted over a familiar, primal energy. “You made me. Therefore, I’m in your pack.”

Despite her background as a hunter, Natalia had much to learn about her new form and new abilities. The female had combat experience, she had weapons training; she was an efficient and ruthless killer, but she was no true wolf. Not that she’d ever wish to be, she’d only go so far as to hone her skills for one purpose. “One thing we share between us. Loyalty. Your kind is protective of their packs. Mine… Our family.” Her gaze began to harden. “My loyalty outweighed my responsibility of what I was before you touched me.” The scar on her shoulder had remained as ugly as the others she had covering her figure. It was deep, clearly it had struggled to heal through her change. That in itself was no easy task; many humans died from the change. Not Natalia.

It seemed one of the wolves in the bar didn’t like her approach, nor did they trust her. His gaze kept drifting over her, assessing her stance. The female took another step closer, her hands behind her back to make a clear sign that nothing was going to happen. Natalia wasn’t foolish; but she did push boundaries. A sly smirk began to light her features as she gazed up toward the Alpha. “You should be careful who you bite. The will to survive is one of the greatest powers in humans.” In an instant, the wolf who had been watching her dashed for her. What Natalia didn’t know was that she’d killed one of his best friends. Without hesitation the female met his planned strike of a fist with one hand snapping up to grasp her sharp nails around the flesh of his forearm. Swiftly, she tugged his arm around his back, bending his limb to a point where his elbow was under immense pressure. Her right foot rose, slamming into the back of his knee, causing him to fall on his knees before her ‘Alpha’.

The air was incredibly tense. No doubt others were waiting for her to harm him. The female released his arm and took a step back, indicating she was simply defending herself. “Are we clear?”

Alex didn't budge as she defended herself from the attacking wolf. When he was released Alex moved the male behind him and looked at the crowd. Not everyone in here was his pack.
"Those of my pack stay, everyone else...return to your awaiting packs outside."
He said as the bar began to clear out, not much though. Only ten to twelve individuals left. Leaving about fifty or so members. His pack was much larger than that but they weren't the bar or club loving types. Now he returned his attention to the female and his own sly smile stretched across his lips.

"You're right. You are my pack. Fun fact two. When a crime is committed within the pack, said wolf is punished by their pack. Isn't that right."
A collection of cheers rang out.
"No killing. No one in my pack will kill her. Understood?"
No one spoke out.
"And you. Kill one member and all bets are off. However, let's test that will of yours. They won't stop on you till you submit. You're the lowest ranking member here. Meaning you will submit to everyone above you...if you don't, they won't stop."

With that said Alex looked at the bartender.
"Move the breakables."
About fifteen minutes of them moving the booze and glasses to the back, the chairs being moved to the edges of the room, then Alex looked at his pack.
"Teach her a lesson."
The moment he said that the room swarmed her. She may be a good fighter and a ruthless one, but even he would have issues with over fifty fists coming his way. Standing at the door he simply leaned against the wall and waited. Those who were injured would remove themselves from the scrap or be removed by those able. Wolves healed pretty quickly with the right foods but they still felt every second of the pain.

As he stood there and played Solitare on his phone he could feel a nagging sensation in the back of his skull. Not an itch, more like an instinct to protect her from the onslaught she was facing. Shaking it off and ignoring it, he simply let his pack mates beat the holy hell out of her. Fists, boots and heels were all being sent her way from every direction.

The female cocked her chin upward as the Alpha spoke. Pack punishment. As the female glanced around, she could see many wolves who would love to see her fight for her life. Upon hearing no defiance to his order of letting her live, the female gave a soft snort. “I don’t have to kill to make someone stop.” Her voice was a tender purr as she watched the pack made room for what she assumed would be only one of the most painful events of her life. For some time, Natalia had trained to accept pain. Hunters were often taught to react only to instinct and thought, not pain. The woman began to crack her bones, stretching her arms before shoving her jacket off, casting it onto the bar before she glanced to the Alpha. He gave the word, and it was on.

The sheer number of attackers meant that Natalia couldn’t defend most attacks, she could only hope to focus on one or two. If they thought she was going to submit, they were wrong. The first punch that flew her way, the female gripped the arm with a vice like hold before she slammed it down upon her rising knee, causing a loud snap to echo through the room. Still, he was alive. Pain began to slam through her body, almost every inch of her was being lashed out again. A vicious, shattering hiss escaped her lips as she began to fight back with every inch of her will. Her Father had taught her never to back down, never to submit.

The fight was continuing after ten full minutes. Bruises over her body were beginning to form and turn a shade of purple. Several times she’d been knocked to her knees, blood trickling from her lower lip before she pulled herself back up, ready for another round. So far, she’d injured a few members in a rather serious manner. Broken bones. However, her adrenaline was wearing off. The sheer will was the only thing keeping her fighting. Her blocks became sloppy, causing a few blows to cause a searing pain within her. Ribs. Regardless of how much pain she endured, the female never whimpered or indicated how much pain she was in; she wasn’t going to give them the satisfaction.

Twenty minutes passed. It was all too much.

A soft huff escaped the woman as she remained on her knees, blonde curls cascading down across her bloodied and bruised face. “I submit,” The words were almost more painful than the beating. From experience, Natalia could tell she had several broken ribs, countless bruises and a few marks she would never be rid of.

“Are you happy now? Or do you fancy a one on one?” The blonde sniped up toward the Alpha, still remaining on her knees until it was confirmed.

Well she'd certainly lasted a lot longer than any of the other wolves that had taken a pack beating. Many of his wolves were hurt as well, panting from exhaustion at how long the beating lasted but as she finally voiced her submission he smirked. Bet that tasted like vinegar on her tongue. Hearing her words he smirked as he helped a few of the injured wolves outside to the limo so that they could be taken home.
"I don't need to beat a whipped dog to get my rocks off."
Alex then walked over to the bar and wrote the pack address on a napkin. Tossing it into her face he looked down at her and grabbed a handful of her hair to lift her head.

"Welcome to the pack pup. Cause trouble again...and it won't be a beating, it'll be an execution. You have one chance. My guess is, it'll be a waste of my time but hey. Bet it's a blow to your pride having to walk around in that new skin of yours huh?"
He said as he dropped her head and the bar cleared out.
"You can find your way to the house I'm sure. You seem like a capable female."
Leaving her to use her own limbs was cruel but she'd slaughtered and dismembered his kind. The feelings of possible remorse were not there at all.

As the wolves all went home Alex explained the situation to the Pack leaders outside and they agreed. She was his problem for the time being. Once that was handled Alex looked back to the bar, he still had a nagging feeling and it was starting to annoy him. Shaking his head he walked to the last limo and took it to the pack manor. The manor was enormous and had been the pack home for decades now. It had been the home his father had started and now here he was in charge of the massive complex. All but a handful of his wolves lived in the rooms or the little summer homes there. Some of them lived in areas around the house as well. Still, he made sure they were all cared for and fed. The home had seen some adjustments over the years but it was still home in his eyes. A lot of history were in those walls.

Once he got home he informed his guards of what to expect as he was sure that tonight or tomorrow they'd be seeing a beaten and broken female coming up to the gates. Each of his guards were armed with compact MP-5's and each one of them were also Wolves. So they were very dangerous to just approach and try to get in. Naturally they would not be keeping the ex-hunter in the house. She'd be put in a small summer house away from the main pack and secluded. She wanted to act like a rogue wolf, she'd be treated like one. One of the biggest driving instincts in a wolf was to be a part of a pack. Family and team work were essential for a wolf's survival. With her being segregated the way she was about to be, the inner wolf would be in a lot of pain as no one would want anything to do with her.

All of this was punishment. She may not want to be a wolf, she may hate it but the wolf was still there. Nothing she could do about it now. She'd be kept under constant guard and have an escort where ever she went. His Hell Hounds would be her guards. Hell Hounds were the answer to the Hunters. Wolves who were Elite among the normal soldiers. They were bred stronger and tougher than a normal wolf and they were the main guards around any pack. If a Hunter came face to face with a Hell Hound, it was a fight for the record books that was for damn sure. Not many hunters had survived against the Hell Hounds. Those that did, did not walk away unscathed.

Sitting in his office now, Alex was resting his elbows on the deep mahogany wood and rubbing his index fingers along his lips as he thought. The Pack elder was in front of him informing him what that nagging was. Oh yay. He was bound to the female. Not in life of course but his inner wolf saw her as a mate and that's what that nagging was.
"Will she feel it as well?"
"Yes. The connection between you two is strong. She's a strong female as her wolf is as well, so it will instinctively go to the strongest mate...you."
"Fuck my life."

Natalia had barely gathered her breath when she felt a sharp pain ripple through her scalp. A low growl rumbled from within her as she noticed the napkin drift past her face. His words were infuriating. How dare he. Of course, she understood why, but he had no idea how his actions had broken her world apart. Her father was her world; her family was everything to her. His actions had made it impossible for her to see them, not even once. They couldn’t know she was alive; and that very fact was killing her. Whenever her rage subsided, the pain was overwhelming. It was easier to be furious, to be driven. The truth was so much more painful. The moment she had the Alpha alone, she would end this all. No more rage, no more anger.

Slowly, she began to rise to her feet. The pain that tore through her body was incredible. As a wolf, she could endure far more pain than she expected. If she’d been human, she’d no doubt have gone into shock. Not now. Gradually, she made her way home. The she wolf made a stop into a herbalist shop on her way. An old hunter recipe she’d received from her father was a good tool to boost her immune system and promote healing. Hopefully it’d help her ease some of the pain she was feeling.

By the time she got home, the pain was almost unbearable. After the healing tonic was made, Natalia drank it and began patching up what wounds she could. Next, she applied some ice and anti-inflammatory cream. She appeared just as one would expect after a beating; swollen, bruised and clearly in a good deal of pain. A soft sigh departed from her body as she curled up onto the make shift bed in a cold, dark house. Sleep wouldn’t be easy, but she needed to take as much as she could. If she was even going to face the pack, Natalia needed to know she could still throw a punch without wincing.

Over the next few days, Natalia was healing well. There were still aches and pains but a lot of bruising had gone down, the only real pain remained with her broken ribs that were attempting to heal. Still, her face looked considerably better. The woman chose her usual tight fitting jeans along with a well fitted v neck shirt. Her trusty jacket and boots remained the same, the blood cleaned from them of course. Despite her disdain for the Alpha, the woman couldn’t help but feel a pull toward him. It had been difficult to fight the urge to go to the pack house sooner. It was beyond infuriating.

The she wolf didn’t have a mode of transport, she simply caught a cab to the street. As she stepped from the cab, Natalia almost fell backward. The house was… A mansion. How the hell did they get so rich? As if she couldn’t have felt anymore awkward. Since it was the Alpha’s intention, Natalia did her best to set herself at ease. The moment she approached the gates she immediately smelled the two guards. Wolves. “I’m the pup,” The female spat coldly, her gaze meeting theirs. Her posture was straight and confident, despite the pain seeping into her right side. “I was asked here, so step aside or call your master.” Her gaze never left the pair, it simply hardened as she waited for them to contact the Alpha.

The blonde crossed her arms over her chest, a rather defensive stance as she began to gaze through the gates. It looked incredible. However, that wasn’t the point. She shouldn’t enjoy it; this wasn’t her life. Her life was destined to be wiped out, and it would be once she got close enough to take the beast of a man with her. Something within her stirred; another part of her couldn’t help but want to see him, crave to see him, to smell him. It made the huntress sick, the she wolf in her craved something Natalia would never allow. This all had to end before her inner wolf managed to take hold.

When Alex got word that the pup was at the front gate he sighed as he was sitting at his desk and looked at the screen to his right. A few buttons hit and he saw her speaking to the Hell Hounds at the gate and chuckled. Both of those males were fathers. So they probably just saw her as an ornery pup. Pressing a button he connected to their ear pieces.
"Let her in. Bear, escort her mid way."
The taller of the two lifted a hand to his ear and looked at the other who nodded. Stepping to the side as the gate opened, Bear motioned for the pup to follow.
"This way pup."
He said as he walked with her up the long cobblestone path. A few children were running around in the woods laughing and playing. A little girl went to run up to Bear but he stopped her and shook his head.

"Not now baby girl. Go play."
That earned him a pout as the girl ran off and face planted on the curb. Bear was right behind her a moment later and picked her up, dusting off her dress as she sniffled and rubbed her cheek. Alex came walking down the road a moment later and smirked as he walked over to Bear.
"Take care of her. I've got this one."
Bear nodded as he lifted his little girl into his arms and the girl instinctively glued her face to his shoulder as she sniffled. Bear walked towards the manor and Alex looked at the newest pup.
"Touch a pup, I'll take your damn hand off."
He said in a deadly warning as he walked towards the main house.

However they detoured to a smaller house off to the side that had another large Hell Hound standing outside of it. Seeing the male he nodded as the Hell Hound looked at the new pup like he was a split second from gutting her with a rusted spoon.
"You good Ice?"
"Good. I'm good."
Alex nodded then looked at her.
"Your father killed his mate. Naturally he's a little sore to you and your kin. Here's another fun fact for you. Did you notice how the two women in the house were alive when we left? Or the other people around the area? Only those who picked up weapons towards us, or Hunters, were killed. Funny how that works. We can choose to kill those responsible for our pain...but leave those who are not. Yet Hunters kill without pause, females, males, elders, and pups. It's all the same to you...who is the monster here?"

As he asked this Ice was standing there glaring at Nat like she was the bane of his existence...which in a way, she was. Motioning to the small summer house which was about the size of a nice two bedroom apartment Alex sighed.
"This is your new home. Ice is your escort. You will always have him with you and you will NOT be seeing the pack till we decide you're worth the effort. Wolves survive in packs. Loners don't last long."

Natalia simply waited for the men to get word. Once they did, she was allowed in, one of the men leading her. What the female hadn’t expected was to see children. One particular child took note of the man leading her in, was it his daughter? She’d barely took note of his words spoken toward her, yet she’d noticed the interaction between father and child, which was soon solidified as she noticed the way the male picked up his little girl, a pang of pain rippling through her mind. Her father never gave Natalia the same comfort. She was taught to be strong, there was no time for weakness, not being what they were. Natalia, however, didn’t have time herself to be sad about such things.

Her attention was diverted as she heard a familiar voice. “I’m not exactly the maternal kind.” The female retorted in her usual void of emotion manner. Natalia followed rather obediently for now, noticing that the Alpha was taking her to a smaller residence. A wave of relief washed over her. Some alone time, it was perfect. Although, the way her inner wolf began to almost whimper at the idea, Natalia immediately recognised what was happening. The female ignored the exchange between men, she simply remained silent.

“Oh yes, please lecture me. Tell me what I’ve done wrong, that I’ve been a bad girl.” The female rolled her eyes, her lips tightening. The way the guard stared toward her didn’t go amiss on Natalia. “So he’s sleeping in here with me? That sounds delightful.” Her gaze immediately shot to the Alpha, “We both know I’m not worth the effort, that’s why I’m paired with someone who wants my head on a pike. If he were to kill me, there would be some feelings of relief and pride, I’m certain. We both know I’m only here because of your obligation to deal with what you did.” The female paused, something was stirring within her.

In a split second, the rage within her began to dominate her mind. It was all just too much. Soon enough, the blonde collapsed onto her knees, the pain tearing through her body without hesitation. Natalia hadn’t learned to control her shifting, and right now, the she wolf was begging to be released. Cries of pain left her body, sounds of snapping filled the vicinity as her body began to contort. The pain stemming from her ribs was enough to sharpen her mind to the situation, leaving the woman back to her human self, panting in pain as she tried to keep her focus on remaining that way. A full shift would no doubt be a terrible idea, the amount of pain she would endure would be far too much, especially when her wounds were healing.

Instead of getting up, she simply rested for a moment, one arm clinging around her broken ribs. “Give me a minute,” The female growled lowly, her eyes squeezing shut as she tried to think of anything else but the stabbing pain in her side.

Alex and Ice both stood there as she started to shift. To be honest, he trusted her wolf a lot more than he did the human part. When she stopped he looked at Ice.
"I won't be staying with you. We have a curfew. Venturing out after hours is an offense and you can't afford any of those. As for killing you. I gain nothing from killing you. It won't bring my mate back and it wouldn't have made her happy either. She was a pacifist. That doesn't mean I have to like you though."
He said as he looked at Alex who nodded.

Alex walked around her so that he was in front of her.
"I know you're not worth the effort, but as Alpha...we make decision we're not too fond of all the time. Taking in a stray mutt who is an ex-Hunter is one of those decisions. Luckily, I won't need to worry about you for too long. Given your temper...I know you'll fuck up sooner rather than later...and when you do. I can think of a list of people who would gladly take your head off of your shoulders."
Walking into the house he looked around a bit and made sure that everything was good to go. Electricity worked, the full sized bed had fresh sheets and pillow cases. No dirt. Good. Despite who she was he still made sure that every wolf under him was taken care of. She had fresh meats and vegetables in the fridge. Pots and pans. The gym in her home was open and everything was good to go.

None of the phones worked but that was for safety purposes. They couldn't have her calling her Hunter pals and informing them of where they were. There were pups here and he wasn't going to have a fight happening so close to them. Another thing he knew she was thinking about was, Alex knew about her mother and sister. It wouldn't take a lot for him to send a wolf their way and finish off the rest of her family and any of his wolves would gladly do it if it meant hurting her just a little bit more.

Stepping out of the house Alex looked at the small female and motioned to the house.
"It's ready. You have ample food and water there. Tomorrow you will be getting a visit from Angel. She's the lead female in charge of this sector. She'll be training you on what it's like to be a wolf and things you need to know. I'd suggest listening to her without too much lip. If she tells me you're not worth the training. You'll be kicked from the pack and that'll be it. Just food for thought."
He said as he kept a professional tone. Angel got her name because she was one of the sweeter females. She was one of those that could get anyone to smile but she was also a very deadly fighter.

Natalia remained still as the guard spoke. Oh, how she desired to show him exactly what she was capable of. In this world, everyone had lost something, that was clear. All they could do was deal with what they were left. Natalia wasn’t nearly done with what she was left, that was for damn sure. The way Alex moved in front of her certainly reminded her of that fact; his cocky words and self assured actions. It must have been such a hard life, living in a beautiful home with a large and ever growing pack around him. Natalia struggled to find sympathy. However, she did have a feeling she knew just how to push his buttons, without breaking the rules. She’d comply, she’d be a good little she wolf. And then she would make him pay.

Once Alex returned from the home, she gathered herself up onto her feet with minimal pain. Natalia did wonder if it would’ve been far easier just to remove herself from the pack. The issue with that being, once she was out, she was free game. There was no way she could fend them all off, that she knew for a fact. Maybe when she was fully recovered she could take off into the distance. Who knew, all that was certain was that she needed to impress Angel. What a name. The blonde almost rolled her eyes at the thought. She bet the woman was the perfect image; beautiful, yet strong. Fierce, yet fair. The comparisons swirled in her mind. All she could hope was that Angel had less attitude than Alex, or surely she’d be out.

By the time Natalia settled into the home and eased herself down to rest, it was already evening. Most of the time she’d been pacing, sniffing around the home and try to determine where to go next. Eventually, she gave in and began to allow her body time to relax. Still, she didn’t trust the place too much, she couldn’t truly rest knowing that there were so many willing to kill her in an instant. A stifled sigh left her lips as she gazed through one of the windows of the room. Her mind played several of her favourite memories; her father showing her how to fight. He trained her since she was four. It seemed like an absurdly young age, and it was. He’d started off slow, showing her the movements and pacing, then moved on to weapons when she was eight. Natalia considered her father a great father simply because he trained her well; he gave her the tools to protect herself. She had no idea of the true meaning of a father, and she never would.

After a fair amount of struggle, Natalia finally gave in to sleep. Memories of her father dominated her mind. Not of when he was alive, but when she stumbled across his body. The pain that hit her had been unimaginable. He was the man she idolised, a man she would follow to hell and back. Yet he lay there, lifeless and cold. Then the beast attacked before she could take out too many of his men. The pain of her transformation was worse than the emotional pain of her father; it was worse than anything she’d ever experienced. And just like that, she was doomed. Fate had dealt its hand.

The blonde woke with a jump, covered in a cold sweat. Strangely, there was a yearning inside her to see Alex. She immediately wondered if he would be coming to see her at some point. Why the hell did she even care? With an angry huff, the young woman slipped from the comfortable sheets and made her way to the bathroom. She checked each wound before showering, making sure to be careful with her healing body. Soon enough she was done, drying off and slipping on a pair of rather comfortable tracksuit bottoms she’d found in one of the cupboards, coupled with a t shirt. A knock on the door had the woman making her way through the house with swift motions, tugging open the door. It was clear that Natalia looked beaten still, but thankfully there were signs of healing. “You must be Angel.” The woman stepped aside, waiting for the session to begin.

Alex had chosen Angel for two reasons. One, she was the best female fighter they had when it came to hand to hand combat and weapons made for close combat like blades and brass knuckles. She was incredibly agile and had an in depth knowledge of healing remedies for the wolves in his pack. Second, she was the sweetest female he'd ever come across. She was just naturally a nice female and very loving towards everyone. She tried her best not to kill Hunter's, even when they clearly wanted to kill her. She was like everyone's baby sister and widely loved in the pack. Angel was about five foot two, weighing in at around one hundred fifteen pounds and she had a very toned body. Strong thick thighs from running and jumping, her stomach was flat and held some muscle. Her arms were smooth yet strong as well. Her chest and backside were worthy of mention as well but no one really cared. Today she was wearing a pair of black spandex running caprices, white Nike running shoes and a black and white sports bra.

Her hair was raven black and down to her shoulders, held in a tight pony tail behind her head. Her eyes were a beautiful almond brown and she had a smooth almost baby face. Flashing Natalia a thousand watt smile she walked in and looked her over for a moment as she inspected her injuries as well as sniffed her.
"Well you're healing a lot better than I thought you would which is awesome. You're one tough cookie, I like that. Still, you're too battered up to do much in terms of training so we'll just start with the basics. Still, before that. What's your name? No one knows it and everyone just calls you hunter."

Shaking her head at that she leaned her ass against the counter and looked her over, her smile was gone but her eyes were soft.
"Titles don't define people, actions do. Sure your actions haven't been the best lately, but you're on a fresh slate with me. So, you know I'm Angel...you are...?"
She said as she just watched Natalia seeming to soak all of this up. Angel had this air about her that she was one of the nicer wolves in the pack.

The woman was exactly as Natalia thought, stunning. The she wolf had to pull her attention back as the smaller female made her way in. The beaming smile was almost too much, Natalia felt it was genuine but there was a distinct feeling of not being worth such kindness, which was strange for the blonde. It wasn’t often that she ever felt sympathy, or lack of worth. Usually, she was very certain of her ability, not in an arrogant way but a pragmatic one. “I know how to take a beating.” The huntress offered a hint of a smile in return. Sadly, it was true. She’d been beaten down more times than she could count. It was just a simple fact; you win some, you lose some. And in order to learn, Natalia lost many, many battles.

“Hunter?” A scoff escaped her as she shook her head. “Natalia, Natalia Shonski.” For a moment, she was concerned Angel would know of her last name. Her family had been rather active for as many generations as she could count. “I appreciate it, Angel. I was acting in the way I was taught. It’s hard to fight an instinct you’ve been trained into since you were four.” Natalia paused once more. She never gave out personal information; she was slipping. This couldn’t happen, not now. Her plan hadn’t even started rolling yet and she was already giving in.

“Angel, I do have a question,” the blonde began as she made her way into the kitchen. “Tea?” Natalia began to mix several herbs she’d brought with her, the same she’d been drinking since the beating. It helped soothe her. “I’ve been feeling this… pull since I changed.” The female poured some boiling water into a large mug, dumping the herbs in right after as she turned to face Angel. “It’s to a particular wolf. Mostly, it’s when I’m nearby. Just twinges now and then, but I feel it getting stronger. I need it to stop.” The blonde almost gave a somewhat pleading look to the woman, her ice like hues mellowing out as she took a sip of the herb mix.

"Shonski? Interesting. I know that name. Very talented Hunters. Your father was a brilliant fighter. I'd tussled with him more than once."
She said as she pointed to her rib cage.
"First time I was punched and had ribs break on impact. He was an enemy worthy of respect."
She said as she smiled and shrugged. Her views on fighting were to respect the strengths of your opponent as they'd gone through the same rigorous training as you have. They suffered the same blood, sweat and tears as you so they should be respected for their talents.

Shaking her head and waving her hand she giggled.
"I don't expect you to change your ways Natalia, beautiful name by the way. I just expect you to learn and adapt to your new skin. You'll change if you want to. If not, well I can't stop that. Just learn and retain what I teach you and I'll be happy."
She said as she looked at the cup of tea and sniffed the herbs, picking out each of them as a warm smile crossed her lips.
"Oooh. That's a good tea. Soothes the nerves and heals ailments. Who taught you this?"
She asked as she blew across the liquid and took a sip, smiling as she did and feeling a full body shiver before she looked up hearing about her little issue. A slow sly smirk crossed her lips.

"That's the bonding mark. Certain personalities are meshed together instantly. You're a strong female through and through. Your wolf is strong too and she's sought out that who can match or dominate her. No one else is worthy of her but this mystery male. So basically the only way to stop it is to confront the male and have him earn that submission. Which usually ends in a thorough fucking...just saying."
She said as she was rather blunt about things but no sense in sugar coating anything. Lycan's were very sexual creatures. Hell they walked around nude most of the time after shifting. Sex was a part of life and while most of it was for fun or what not, it was still a part of life and the wolves fully accepted it.

Taking another sip of her tea she set it down and walked over to Natalia. Holding her hands up as she slowly touched her stomach and felt around. Her touch was soft and gentle, but still pressing hard enough to feel her muscles and bones.
"Some of these are still damaged. Your muscles seem fine, but your ribs need a day or so more. So, for now I'll just get to know you and answer any questions you have. I see you've spent some time getting a feel of your new skills, but have you allowed your wolf to run around yet?"

Natalia paused slightly as she heard Angel comment about her father. It was not at all what she expected. There was respect, and it had Natalia almost in awe of the she wolf before her. “He was a… strong man.” Natalia agreed warmly, it was the most she’d spoken of her father. “He always trained, every day, every night. I don’t remember a time he was able to give us his attention. Fighting came before everything. He was a good teacher.” The blonde bowed her head respectfully to Angel before continuing to sip at the warm tea, allowing the warmth to fill her body, setting her at ease. So far, she was enjoying this woman’s company far more than she’d expected.

“Thank you. Well, I’m a quick learner. I can’t say I like the idea of running around on all fours, but I’m willing to try.” Again, since when did she compromise? Her father would not be amused if he could see her now. “My father, he showed me many things, this healing tonic was one of them.” Natalia noticed the smirk crossing the woman’s lips, a sense of dread began to build up, and soon exploded into full concern as Angel began to speak. “Dominate her? Please tell me you’re joking.” The blonde uttered a curse as Angel continued to explain. “So you’re telling me I have to go to this mystery male and make him fuck me?” The blonde’s upper lip twitched, her gaze sauntered off into the distance. Her wolf thrived at the idea of getting her hands on Alex, yet the huntress remained rather pissed at the sadistic turn of events.

As the woman approached, Natalia stilled, watching her as a predator may watch prey. Natalia wasn’t often touched; not softly anyway. “Thank you. I suspected as much, the pain is finally disappearing. I haven’t… I almost shifted outside. The mystery male was close and the damned animal inside just... She almost took full control. I’ve been feeling caged in since I got reprimanded.” The female admitted rather softly, her eye contact with Angel wavering slightly. “About this bond though, surely there is lore relating to the breaking of a bond? I refuse to believe that I’m stuck with that arrogant son of a bitch.” Still, her upper lip twitched slightly with rage.

“Since I’ve clearly got some issues to work out, can we shift and go running now? I mean, you’ll count as my guard, right?” A smirk covered her lush lips as she gazed toward Angel. “Besides, I could do with some exercise before I go completely mad.”

Hearing that her father was the one who taught her the tea ingredients she smiled and nodded. So not only was he a talented fighter but he was a herbalist as well. Wonderful mix of talents. Though being able to separate fighting from family life was a key feature and not a lot of soldiers were able to do that which was a shame. Bear was one of the few able to still love and cherish his pup while being a dangerous fighter. But that was Bear. He was a teddy bear to most people and a grizzly to his enemies. Smiling at that she looked over as Natalia seemed a bit put off by the bonding.

"Well, the death of this particular male would cancel it out, but you don't want that. It would be like someone just ripped a part of your soul out. Your wolf half will feel it more than you but the pain will be there. Another way is having the male reject you. Basically showing your wolf that he's not worthy or that he's not confident enough. I've had that happen a few times. It hurts but it's not a long lasting pain. Just gotta find the right one."
She said as she shrugged and smiled at the way Natalia seemed really annoyed with her wolf's choice in males. Giggling a bit since the wolf based it's choice off of her own personal wants, which in her case seemed to be more subconscious.

When she asked if they could go for a run she nodded and as they walked outside she gave Ice the day off.
"I've got her Ice."
He nodded, not questioning Angel's abilities and smiled as Angel ran over and gave him a hug and a kiss on his cheek.
"Smile more big guy."
That earned a chuckle as he shook his head and walked off. Angel then stripped out of her clothes and set them at the door step. Stretching her nude skin as her body shifted and morphed till she was a solid white wolf that was about the size of a small pony. Stretching her paws out she raked the ground with her claws, her mind communicating with Natalia's.

'The first shift is a little uncomfortable, but it's only because your wolf wants out. After that, and letting her out regularly, it'll start to feel good.'
Angel waited for Natalia to shift and motioned with her nose to the forest line.
'We can test your agility there, and reaction time. Smacking into a tree or tree branch won't feel good.'
She said as Angel took off like a white bullet, dirt and grass kicking up as powerful muscles made her body almost fly over the grass.

Natalia was almost delighted upon hearing that death could cancel out the attachment, however, the words that came after caused a soft sigh to escape her lips. “I think this whole mate business is the worst part of the turning. I guess we’ll work on the latter.” The blonde chuckled softly, shaking her head. Surely he would be rejecting her in no time, which meant forcing herself onto him. Surely her wolf would then see the issue of falling for such a man. Natalia just hoped the she wolf inside her would learn in time for her plan to be complete. It would make the journey a hell of a lot easier. Currently, the pull seemed to be growing within her just from the conversation about said male. Natalia wondered if Angel would react differently if she knew who Natalia’s wolf was hungering for.

It seemed that Angel was the one of the pack that people loved, no doubt. She seemed the type, respectful, sweet, and no doubt caring considering the words she shared with Ice. Natalia observed Angel’s movements, turning her gaze as the woman removed her clothing. The change was what Natalia expected, what she didn’t expect was the voice in her mind. It seemed as though she was waiting for Natalia to join. A slow, tender sigh escaped her lips as she began to undress, casting the clothing aside before a swift roll of her shoulders, preparing for the pain to come.

As the huntress knelt down, the pain she had tried to avoid consumed every inch of her body. Soft groans of disapproval slipped from her as she contorted, her body breaking and reshaping. Finally, the pain began to subside as her new form flourished. The she wolf rose up, her ears tilted backward as she began to search for her own reflection. It was a bizarre feeling, she just wished to know if it was really happening. As she turned toward the home, she caught a glimpse of herself. She wasn’t a pristine white or a threatening black, she wasn’t anything special, at least in her mind. The wolf that stared back at her was a light brown, almost blonde mix of fur. Darker shades of brown marked several areas of her body, such as her ears, along her back and around her tail.

The huntress was tentative, she’d mastered a human form but never a wild one. Slowly, she began to progress toward the direction of Angel. In time, she began to break into a gallop. It was clear as she drew closer that she was larger than the other female. ‘This is still very strange.’ Natalia commented to her teacher as she began to bound and leap over various fallen trees and an array of bushes. After some time, Natalia began to listen to what her instincts were telling her. It was in that moment that a loud pop echoed through the forest. Hunters. The female dashed through the forest, her claws raking into the dirt as she tore in the direction of Angel. They had to leave, now. No doubt they were looking for Natalia, with all the killings she’d have been somewhat easy to track. Goddamn her temper.

The female finally saw Angel. She also noticed the scent in the air, humans. It was stronger, they were close and preparing to take down their prey. Without hesitation, Natalia raced toward the human scent. It happened in a blur, shots fired toward Angel in quick succession, it must have been a semi-automatic. Natalia had the misfortune of taking every bullet, spanning from her shoulder to her thigh. The pain didn’t hinder her, it simply called a vicious growl from within her, causing her to race after the hunters. Her strength wasn’t in her new form, not yet. As Natalia ran, she managed to shift back while keeping her movements. Thankfully, one of the men had dropped one of their weapons; they hadn’t expected her to chase. The blonde bent down, ignoring the blood streaming from her wounds, and snagged the spare gun from the forest floor. Several shots fired swiftly, both men collapsing into the ground. Her aim was on point, as per usual. With a gruff sigh, she collapsed into a nearby tree, using it for support.

Angel hadn't expected there to be hunters this close to their home and as she dodged some of the first shots she was making her way towards them when a brown blur shot past her and took several rounds that would have hit her from the side. Keeping on the move she distracted a Hunter who soon fell from bullets and as she looked back she saw Natalia leaned against a tree. Running over to her she inspected the wounds for a moment then her ears pinned to her head as her nose tipped up and a loud howl rang through the air. The howl sounded pained, the sound holding more emotion for Natalia now that her wolf inside was telling her that it was a distress call, informing the pack that there was wounded.

Moments later Ice and a few other Hell Hounds were there as was Alex. Alex looked at the two Hunter bodies and ordered his Hounds to spread out and look for any more. Looking to Angel he sighed.
"Get the medical staff prepped."
Angel nodded and took off as Alex bent down and hoisted Natalia up into his arms, carrying her like a child. The thick muscles in his arms shifted as he moved through the woods and as he looked at her wounds he sighed.
"You must be a glutton for punishment."
He said as he walked out of the woods and started heading towards the house. Looking to the house he spoke again.
"Still, thank you for protecting Angel."

That was probably the wolf in her protecting her pack mate. He doubted that the human side of her did that for any specific reason. His inner wolf was thrilled at the fact that he was so close to her, and touching her bare skin. It was calming to him and it annoyed him as well. He wanted to go and gut those hunters for hurting her. Which was fan-fucking-tastic that he had to have those thoughts running through his mind. Growling a bit he walked into the house and carried her to the medical wing. Angel was there in a medical gown and had some of her herbs on stand by while other females who were talented at healing were also there.

Setting her down on the table he nodded to Angel who gave Natalia a shot for the pain as well as something to put her to sleep. Natalia then cupped her cheek and pressed her own forehead to Natalia's.
"Thank you for saving me. Now get some rest so I can help you."
With that she injected her with a nice little sedative cocktail that was created for the wolves since normal sedatives didn't do the trick.

Natalia hadn’t even taken the time to notice the the female approaching, she was simply glancing toward her hip and attempting to press on the wounds. The howl that tore from the female beside her coaxed a smile from the older woman, one hand reaching out to brush along her fur. Maybe this wolf inside her was taking hold more than Natalia knew. It was controlling her behaviour; she was becoming something… different. The woman hadn’t expected to change in ways that she felt she was, especially toward Angel. One person had showed her kindness, and that person had earned a warmth in her heart. Of course, it wasn’t solely because Angel had been kind. It was the look in her eyes, the soft warm glow of life. She was clearly younger, and she was cherished. Special. Natalia couldn’t explain it, but the she wolf inside her had bonded with the younger female.

As the reinforcements arrived, Natalia rolled her eyes. “I don’t need staff, I just need a knife and a needle with some thread,” She argued as she saw Alex nearing in on her. “Don’t you dare,” There was a hiss in her tone as she felt her body leave the ground and press up against the warmth of the Alpha’s chest. “Yes, I planned to be shot three times by a semi automatic. It couldn’t possibly have been instinct.” The woman huffed, her tone somewhat softened as she folded her arms over her chest, ignoring the searing pain along her right side. “Don’t give me any credit, it was instinct.” Natalia murmured back softly, clearly refusing to accept his thanks. It’s what Natalia did best, push people away. Even her own kin. She had always been a loner, even as a hunter.

Natalia didn’t focus on the journey; all she could think of was how good he smelled. How warm his body was, and how delicious it felt to be pressed up against him. The she wolf within her was lashing at the cage inside, desperate to have her way. Reluctantly, her head began to rest against his shoulder, the blood loss was beginning to cause her mind to haze, her vision to blur. Once she was set down on the table, she glanced to the side and noticed Angel with several other women. Natalia immediately felt tense, it wasn’t a situation she’d go into willingly. Before Alex could leave, the blonde snapped her fingers around his wrist, her nails sinking into his flesh. “Semi automatics. They’re not normal hunters, they’ve come for me. When they don’t report into the council tonight… More will come.” It was all she could manage before a slight sting rippled across her arm.

“That’s very sweet, but all I needed was a knife and a needle,” A soft, warm chuckle escaped her lips as the other female pressed her forehead to her own. It was more affection than she’d had in a long time. A soft, stifled groan escaped Natalia as the drugs began to flow into her blood, it was too hard to fight them. It would be clear to Angel and Alex, along with any other wolves, that Natalia had a range of injuries. Scars littered her body, deep and shallow, ranging from her legs to her arms, and some over her stomach. Claw marks, bite marks. There was an especially prominent scar on her shoulder, left by Alex himself. Natalia had always taken care of her own wounds, which was clear by the non surgical precision of closing the wounds.

Natalia began to wake from her sleep, feeling incredibly dizzy. Slowly, she allowed her body to rise, noticing she was in a rather warm and comfortable bed in the hospital wing. How long had she been out? It seemed dark outside, she just hoped it hadn’t been days. With a grunt, she removed the IV and began to slip from the bed. It seemed she was still naked; which suited her. That enabled her to check each wound; it seemed to have healed incredibly quickly. But first, she had to warn Alex. She didn’t get to tell him everything she should have before she passed out. There was one hunter that would come for her, and he wasn’t going to be stopped by a large pack. He was… something else.

The she wolf dropped to her knees, summoning her animal counter part to take control. If anything could hunt down Alex, it would be that side of her. In an instant, her change tore through her body, the light brown wolf emerging with a soft yap of joy at her new freedom. Without waiting, the female darted off, her muzzle rose into the air as she tracked her Alpha’s scent. Finally, she darted through the large home and narrowed in on his scent. He wasn’t alone. The she wolf didn’t have time to wait respectfully. The female began to slam her cranium into the door barricading her from her target. Once it flew open, she trotted in rather hastily. The fluffy wolf ignored the others, simply sitting before her alpha with a rather desperate bark like sound emerging from her. Slowly, she rose her muzzle to rest under his hand, she turned her head slightly, taking his hand in her jaw as she tried to tug him toward the door. She had to speak with him, alone.

After hearing her warning about the Hunter's he'd taken that warning to heart and had ordered that all females who were non-combatants as well as males and elderly be moved to the safe house which was under ground behind blast proof doors. It was a bunker pretty much. A dooms day bunker that had years worth of food and water. It was also the same size as the house above ground. That thing had taken decades to build and furnish how it was needed but it was also worth the effort. The only ones in the house and around it now were soldiers and Hell Hounds. Alex also made sure that the guards were moving in pairs now. One Hell Hound and one soldier. The soldiers job was to rally the rest of the troops while the Hell Hound fought off the Hunters, or vise versa if needed.

Sitting in his office with a few of his Hell Hound Captains they all heard the pounding on the door and when Bear got up and opened it a brown wolf came into the room. Alex knew who that was just by scent and the way his own wolf seemed calmed by her entrance, for the moment anyway. As she gripped his hand he stood up and excused himself. Following the she wolf out of the office and into an empty room he stood there and removed his hand.

'I can understand you. What is it?'
He asked as he linked his mind to hers. The simple fact that she'd taken to her wolf form to find him let him know that what she wanted to tell him was important and she'd gunned down two of her own Hunters so she was an enemy to them more than ever now.

There had been a few hunter defects who had learned that most of the Wolves they hunted didn't want to fight and so they supported them rather than fought them. Those hunters usually met some pretty gruesome ends as they were made examples of, and yet they were the monsters. Right. Fucking hypocrites. Natalia had only been out for a day or so, and yet she was healing very well. Most of her wounds had already healed since the bullets were out, wounds were sewn and Angel had used some special herbs to speed up the wolves healing abilities. She'd probably felt right as rain minus some sore muscles but other than that, she should have been ready to go.

Pulling that IV from her arm probably alerted Angel that she was up and out, which meant that Angel would be tracking her down soon to give her an ass chewing about just yanking her IV out. Smiling inwardly about that, despite her age, Angel was very motherly towards those who were sick and injured.

Thankfully, Alex followed Natalia out. The female didn’t feel comfortable with her wolf counterpart being so close to him. It was far too much. Her attraction was already starting to grow. Forcing those emotions down, Natalia forced her body to shift. The naked woman have a huff of pain before easing against a nearby wall for support. “Hunters are coming, but I didn’t get to tell you what else.” A slow, gentle sigh escaped her. “There’s a group of specific men that are trained to hunt down ex hunters. They’re lethal. As a human, you’d certainly die in seconds of fighting them.”

Natalia began to chew at her lower lip slowly, her blonde curls resting over her shoulders as she continued. “They aren’t human. They were once, a long time ago. The Council began doing experiments. Enhancements. I was only allowed to know so much, and all I know is that they’re practically superhuman. If one of the pack gets close, they won’t stand a chance.” There was a clear concern in her tone. It was the only time Natalia had shown true fear.

As odd as it may seem, Natalia wasn’t only fearful for the attack; there was one particular man she wished she wouldn’t see. One of those men she’d become involved with. One of their arguments had shown her exactly what they could do; and it was horrific. If he were to find her, then she’d be a blatant target. “They have a weakness. Their brain. If you have any wolves who can shoot, they should aim for their eyes.” Her gaze locked with the male before she continued. “I have a plan. They’re here for me, so I’ll lead them away, into the forest. The pack can take up positions, we can set up traps. They’ll expect it but it’ll slow them down enough to get a clear shot.” Now she was simply rambling. Why was she suddenly so helpful? Honestly, she didn’t know. But the link she’d been feeling only seemed to grow. Not only to Alex but to Angel.

As much as Natalia was afraid to meet Blane on the battlefield, it may just be time for her to face her demons. “I have to go get my gear,” with that, the female turned on her heel and began to march down the hallway, her hips swaying gently with her quick movements. If she’d remained close to him any longer, she’d have been far too tempted to try and have him reject her there and then, it would at least resolve the issue of feeling the need to be close to him.

Normally, nudity was nothing new, but given his attachment to her he was having a hard time focusing on her eyes as she spoke. His eyes kept lingering on her nude breasts, the way they rose and fell with her breath, the way her nipples had been partially erect not from arousal but from a surge of emotions. The light shine of sweat that covered her skin, the soft curves of her hips and the very soft slit between her legs. Shaking his head he dropped his eyes to the floor in thought and simply tried to focus on the information coming to his ears and not the information going to his groin. Gah! He felt like a juvenile again, seeing his first nude female. Mentally slapping himself he just stood there and nodded as she said she needed to get her gear and as hard as he fought it, his eyes shot to her back side and he watched those hips move and her ass cheeks bounce with each step.

Biting the inside of his cheek he tore his eyes away from such a delicious spectacle and focused on the task at hand. Alright so they had some super soldiers heading their way. Not good news. Going back into his office he informed the captains of his new information and while he wasn't fond of her diversion idea, if they were there for her, it would be the easiest way to get the Hunters away from the pack. So he issued orders for the Hell Hounds to take Natalia and Angel with them. They would be showing her where the traps were set. They didn't make them obvious either. If she was running a specific path, she'd have to turn at just the right moment to avoid a tree as well as the trap on that tree. It would simply look like her avoiding a tree and not the trap at the base. These were not nice traps either. Pressure plates with explosives under them. Multiple traps littered the soiled ground all around the only covered area for them to enter through. The only other way to the house other than the woods was a very open plain with some very skilled snipers watching over it from the roof of the house in multiple areas.

With the advantage of high ground and distance, the Hunters would be fish in a barrel going that route, so the forest was the only other way. The main road was too risky since neither of the groups like involving the general public. As the traps were set, Angel looked at Natalia and wrapped her arm around her waist.
"I'm not leaving you to take on those hunters by yourself. I'm coming with you, and there's no getting around that."
Everyone had been made aware how dangerous these hunters were. Angel included, however the bond between pack mates looked past danger and focused on the life of a family member.

Ice smirked.
"Best just nod and deal with it. Once she decides something, not even Alex can change her mind."
He said as he smiled a bit and went back to setting traps as each of the males were very good at strategics so they placed traps in areas where they would be going for the most cover and perfect ambush spots.

Much to her surprise, Alex had taken her warning seriously. The pack were busy preparing as the men were setting traps. It was the perfect detour. Natalia was gazing over the landscape, planning her route as she noticed a warm slender hand snaking around her waist. The comment that emerged from Angel’s lips almost drew Natalia to argue. “Angel, they’re here for me. I’ve only been here a day. They won’t relent, I don’t want you getting hurt over my life.” Ice’s comment had the blonde snickering. “Well, she’s faster than me, I’ll give her that.” Natalia pulled the shorter woman into a warm hug; by now she was rather used to being naked, and nobody seemed to care. Aside from Alex, his gaze kept seemingly wandering. Her inner wolf felt like it was soaring with joy, which only proved to distract the female.

“If we get caught, we divide. If they’re too close, we can split them up.” Natalia began to take several steps toward the forest, glancing along the way she’d run. Before Natalia could devise a plan with Angel, she could hear something in the distance. Trucks. “Go!” the female barked toward the men, “Quick!” the sun was already setting; twilight was the perfect lighting, it was the most difficult to tell depth, hopefully she could use that to her advantage. The blonde turned to Angel, a hand slipping over her shoulder as she leaned in toward the woman, her lips close to her ear. “быть осторожен,” A thick Russian accent suddenly emerged from the soft, tender tone. The blonde had said to be careful in her mother tongue before she began to summon the change.

The enemy was already in the forest, from the sounds of the branches and leaves rustling, Natalia knew they couldn’t be far. The female’s lips pulled back in a vicious snarl as one man approached. He was dressed in combat gear, thick heavy boots with sufficient armor to withstand several slashes. Blane. “Well, well. Little Natalia,” His accent was thick, it indicated a similarity to the accent Natalia had when she spoke to Angel. “Can you imagine my joy when I discover my ex is nothing more than a filthy mutt? It’s a dream come true.” Natalia gazed toward Angel, nodding her forward toward the forest. She would take care of Blane, he was the very first they’d created; and it showed. He appeared as if he’d been taking steroids since the moment he could walk; he’d even grown since Natalia last saw him.

As Angel took care of the backup soldiers, Natalia began to circle Blane. She was slow enough to draw him in, then she dashed off toward the forest. Swift, hard footfalls echoed behind her, nearing her speed. The female was desperately glancing toward the various traps. With a single leap, she cleared a fallen stump and managed to push herself off of another, dashing through a dense area. Still, he remained on her tail. The explosives had been set off, tearing into his armor. Natalia had forgotten to add how pain was usually ignored, she’d found out that the hard way.

“Come on Natalia, let’s skip the foreplay, from what I remember you never seemed to be able to wait for the big finish.” Each word was causing her skin to crawl, the very memories infuriating her to a point of clouding her mind. He’d wanted that, and unfortunately it was working.

With a swift change of course, the female led Bane through the sniper’s line of sight. Several shots rang out, clearly managing to hit him, thankfully it slowed him. In the back of her mind, she wanted to know how Angel was, did she manage to get away? The female had to focus, dragging Bane through as many traps as she could recall. Suddenly, two extra soldiers neared her rear. The female glanced back, already trying to switch direction. It was now or never.

The female lunged forward, tackling one of the men down. Thankfully, one sniper managed to pierce the brain of the other soldier. Natalia’s form had managed to stay atop the male, her jaw snapping furiously as she aimed for this throat. The taste of the crimson liquid was putrid, no doubt from the experiments. The she wolf clung on long enough to tear the flesh from his throat before she felt a fierce grip on the back of her neck, hurling her away from the scene. Slowly, he began to advance, a smirk crossing his lips despite his weakened state. “Any last words?”

Alex had been near the group when the hunters arrived and he and the other males took off towards their positions. As the fight started, several explosions could be heard in the back ground as the Hunters were hitting the traps. Angel had made her way over to his group with two Hunters on her tail. Alex growled as he shifted and went after them. His wolf form was noticeably larger than the others around him as he slammed into one of the males and broke his leg on impact. Alex's massive fangs sank deep into the top of the man's skull and with a few sharp twists of his head the neck snapped. Alex then used his powerful jaws to smash into the skull and open it.

Angel was fighting the other with Ice so he wasn't concerned about that. Heading off he joined the fight with another Hunter. They tasted different too. Human blood was coppery and gross for sure, but these males had a bitter almost chemical taste. One that made he and a few other wolves gag more than once. As the last Hunter fell, Alex looked up as his inner wolf was really itching to find Natalia and while he needed to check on his own wounded he growled as he barked orders to Bear and went after Natalia's scent.

As he ran through the woods he found the female over top a dying Hunter and facing off with another much larger one who'd obviously taken some damage. Narrowing his eyes on the male Alex lunged and slammed into him like a derailed freight train. Taking the both of them to the ground his jaws snapped and tore at armor and flesh. The man was strong that was for sure, even with his injuries. Skidding along the soil Alex got to his feet and circled the male with lips curled over deadly fangs. Snapping his jaws as he kept a cold stare on the male.

Dirt kicked up as Alex went at him again. He wouldn't kill him, it wasn't his kill, he'd certainly take him down a few sizes though. Ripping the man's armor off piece by piece his fangs soon began tearing into muscles and ligaments. Making it hard for him to move those massive limbs of his. When the man's arms didn't work anymore, Alex backed up and snorted as he looked back at Natalia.
'He's all yours.'
He wasn't defenseless but he wasn't as deadly anymore.

Natalia had been biding her time, taking several steps to delay Blane reaching her. Out of the distance, the she wolf noticed Alex. The female could remember his face from the night she’d changed; and the innate connection she began to feel toward him came to light as she could tell he was near. The female watched the way he lashed at Blane, removing his armor, reducing his speed. The woman simply stared, watching the way they fought. The very second she heard his voice in her mind, the female tore toward her ex. There was no mercy, no hesitance. Her jaw immediately latched onto his throat, tearing the flesh open far enough to gush blood. It trickled down her maw, staining her fur.

In moments, the female lashed her head, snapping the neck before she stood back, her breathing ragged as she came to terms with finally removing that nightmare from her life. The brown wolf trotted toward the Alpha, her muzzle pressed lightly against his flank as she inhaled his scent. It was the very moment that the she wolf was in control that her tongue snaked from her jaw as she began to groom him, ever so slightly. It was an affectionate action, one she hadn’t expected. It was partly in thanks, and partly due to the need for her to touch him, to be close to him.

The moment she realised what was happening, Natalia raced off, dashing toward where she’d seen Angel last. The female breezed through the trees, trying to find Angel and the others. It seemed everyone was fine, it had been a success. Natalia made her way back toward the home, trying to ignore what she’d just done. Curses ran in her mind as she began to shift back to her human self. Her delicate form swayed slightly as she moved. The female swiftly let herself into the home she’d been shown to, swiftly shutting the door behind her. With her back pressed against the door, the blonde gave a slow, deep sigh. She couldn’t remain there any longer, this connection she felt, it was clouding her judgement.

Swiftly, the female began to gather all the clothing she could find, including a bag she’d found under the bed. The woman threw the clothing in, and any snacks she found from the cupboards. Could she really be enjoying what she was now? Surely she couldn’t be. It wasn’t who she was, this wasn’t what she was supposed to become. If she even entertained the idea of staying, this new form of hers would take over. She would become one of them.
