After the War (Razgriz x Lagertha)

Miwa was starting to feel heated, his body reacting quite positively to the sensations of the Queen's handjob. Even more so when her teasing kisses seemed to touch his more sensitive areas, and her bites made him mewl just a bit. Rather cutely too, for someone who was normally so serious about the Queen and her needs.

His member began to stiffen a little more as she picked up the pace, wet sounds emanating from his length as the pre-cum continued to coat her fingers. He could feel her kisses starting to get lower and lower, Tiri'ol soon on her knees before him. A loud yelp came from him as she bit his hip, his member jumping and throbbing even more in her hand for a few seconds. "Tiri...That..." he tried to stammer about it hurting, but his body was oddly enjoying it, his throbbing flesh evidence of that. "I...guess it's my turn to be surprised..." he whispered afterwards, a hand coming down to pet the top of her head.

Tiri'ol was going to say something, about when he was going to speak. However the jump in his member, the increase in his breathing told her that he enjoyed her biting him more than he might admit later. At least she could keep that in mind for later if Miwa was ever overly stressed..or just to tease him for fun.

She was purring as he petted her hair, releasing the flesh of his hip and licking it. No doubt where she had bitten would leave a bruise. She smiled at him, giggling slightly when he talked about it being his turn to be surprised. Tiri'ol didn't speak, as her lips got closer to his member, her hand gripped the top of him, her tongue licked up the bottom of him allowing her hand to move away as she wrapped her lips around the head of him, pushing a few inches of him into her mouth. Her hand moved down to the base of him, stroking his member as she swirled her tongue against his cock.

Indeed once she pulled off, there was a bit of sting left behind; even though her teeth didn't break the skin, there would still be marks left over and most definitely a splotch of black and blue. Thankfully the area would be covered by his robes so it wasn't like anyone would notice; he would just have to not wince or anything if it came to be too painful.

However, those thoughts went out the window as she started to tend to him, that rough but gentle tongue of hers licking over his stiff member. The streams of pre-cum being licked up before she stuck the throbbing head and an inch or so of his shaft into her mouth, making the male gasp out in pleasure. Combined with her continued stroking of his thicker base, she was truly working a wonder on him. "O-oh, Tiri'ol! When..." he was going to ask how she might have figured out how to do this, his cock throbbing between those pouting lips as she licked and stroked him, the sack underneath starting to swell with cum as she pleased him.

Tiri'ol's eyes were open, her ears up as she looked at him when he had spoke again and cut himself off. Her face had a bit of blush on it, though she hadn't exactly learned this from anyone, she had just wanted to do it. Her purr was coming from her mouth, rattling the cock inside of her lips as she sucked him, stroking him a bit harder as she started to bob her head against the few inches in her mouth. She could feel him twitching, throbbing, as if begging for more. Good thing Yuit wasn't here.

Miwa's body was shaking under her treatment, feeling her purrs shake his cock and having pleasurable vibrations run down it, the head twitching a little as she started to suck him more and a spurt of precum washing over her tongue. The length pulsed gently in her mouth and against her lips, her hand helping to make his own pleasure rise.

"Tiri'ol...I..." he groaned, cutting himself as his pleasure halted his speech, reducing to nothing but pants as his cock throbbed harder and harder with each passing second, hips moving against her bobbing motions. Without warning, it would give one last stiffening, pulsing madly as his thick cum shot out in hot wads. The first few flew out and coated her throat as his hands came down and forced her to stay, the next few dumping over her tongue and the last ones flooding her warm cheeks in sperm. With each load, his hips bucked, body wanting to have the Queen drink it all down.

Tiri'ol didn't seem to overly mind, bent on bringing him pleasure like he had her. No doubt he was enjoying this by the way his body reacted, the way his muscles tensed and relaxed. That little bit of pre-cum coming out made her shiver at the sweet taste it left on her tongue, which only egged her on to continue to get more of a taste.

The way he said her name made her open her eyes, her ears flicking on the top of her head. Her face was a bit red, embarrassed until she could feel his cock pulsating, the way his face twisted in pleasure told her he wouldn't last much longer. Then it happened, the way his hips bucked and sent hot streams of cum coating her throat, her tongue, the inside of her cheeks with each thrust. The hand on the back of her head keeping her on his cock as she swallowed, letting the liquid trail down her throat straight into her stomach as she purred from the taste of his sticky seed. She didn't mind this either, as she drank each load he shot until he shot no more, she removed her lips from his cock, licking up the remaining traces of cum on his cock before swallowing and laughing softly as she sat up licking her fingers.

She looked at him a bit, before moving in and kissing his lips gently before she nuzzled her head into the curve of his neck.

Miwa's form twitched as his release subsided, his once stiff member wilting after the orgasmic rush faded. Only when Tiri'ol finally kissed him did his trance-like afterglow break, feeling her rough tongue lancing with his. "Tiri'ol...Thank you, that was wonderful" he muttered, gently stroking her head as she laid against him. And with that, the pair soon were under the sheets and spooning each other, her bodyguard's soft breathing rhythmically drifting in and out of her ears as the lights of the room's crystals faded to black.

And when morning came again, he awoke to feel her still nuzzled into him and him into her. His arms gently pulled her closer, loving her soft flesh against his own. "Morning, my Queen....er, Tiri'ol..." he then said, gently correcting himself from his habitual greeting.

Tiri'ol wasn't even sure how she had ended up wrapped in Miwa's arms. Then again they had often talked about mating, and she had been pressed about it before since she was the queen and the last nine tail. However, being like this, finding herself opening her eyes to this was...different. Miwa was always there for her, but Tiri'ol just felt like she should be the one leading him, taking care of him and everyone else since she was the queen. Still, it made her reflect on how the night had gone, how she had gotten to this point.

Of course Tiri'ol hadn't been feeling well the night before, and a soft smile was on her face as her ears twitched to Miwa's words. Her head turned, smiling at him. Tiri'ol reached up stroking his cheek as she watched him correct himself.

"Morning Miwa." Tiri'ol spoke softly as she twisted in his arms, yawning slightly as she stretched and kissed his lips softly before pulling away. "I should probably get dressed and see if Yuit is alright...he'll probably be pretty upset I left him in someone else's care last night." Tiri'ol ran her fingers through her hair as she moved to climb out of the bed. "You can bath here if you want, Miwa. Would you check on Orgoth when you are done though?" Tiri'ol was already going through her head checking everything she needed to remember. "The festival is in two days, is that right?"

Miwa's eyes closed for a moment as she gently embraced him, her lips and his meeting tenderly before she got out of bed. Yes, it seemed their one night together in who knew how long was at an end. But that was alright; it was a welcome reprieve for both of them. A slight smile crossed his face as he thought of the tantrum young Yuit would throw. No doubt he would make things difficult for Tiri'ol, but the boy would soon be back to wanting her attention and never leaving her alone.

Even so, the boy would have to grow up at some point. But so long as he clung to the Queen's robes, that day was far off indeed.

"I've no doubts he will, Tiri'ol, but he'll get over it soon enough once he sees you again. You deserve a break every once in a while, and soon he'll be old enough to understand that." he said, wordlessly accepting the Queen's offer and stepping into her personal basin. "Yes, the festival will be held in two day's time; once I check on our giant friend, I'll be sure to Xi and the others ask about the dress." Running a sponge along his arms, he then said, "You seem much better today, both in spirit and in body. I'll not lie, I was worried about you when you fell ill."

"Miwa.." Tiri'ol sighed as she watched him climb into the spring. She watched him start to scrub himself as she knelt down picking up his robe and her own and placing it on the vanity. "You don't always have to worry about me. I should be worrying over you and everyone else."

Tiri'ol walked over to the spring, looking up at the plant orbs as they lighted up fully. She slipped her feet into the water, before sitting down next to him to rinse off quickly. "Yes, I do feel better. Thank you." Tiri'ol looked at him as she rubbed down her tails and smiled. "I can check on the dress. They'll most likely want me to try it on. I was hoping to ask them if they could make something simple for Orgoth. I know he dresses different, but the festival is full of many races we trade with that I don't want to give the wrong impression."

She pulled herself out of the water, grabbing a towel to pat herself down before placing it on the vanity and pulling out a robe to wrap herself in. "You can leave a few things here if you want Miwa. So you can change if you spend the night again." Tiri'ol moved to brush her hair and tails before she sighed softly. "I think I'll take Yuit for a walk outside the village today. Do you think you can watch the village for me while I do?"

"As long as we've known each other, Tiri, have I done anything less?" he teased; true, she was the Queen. But still, even a ruler needed to make sure to get proper rest and nutrition. "Besides, this isn't a burden you need to bear alone. Myself, Ko, Rai'thi and even that lumbering brute Orgoth are with you; though I'm not sure that last one would be a good choice for overseeing village intricacies, being an outsider and all" he replied, adding that last bit as a half-joke. Hopefully Orgoth's tenure here would prove to be so boring he would want to go back to his people.

Nodding at her request, he just said "Of course; I'll be sure to let the others know as well." Stepping out himself, he used another towel to dry himself off before redressing in his robes. "Hopefully the little one didn't get too upset" Miwa added, the two of them soon leaving the village as they headed to the maiden's hut to retrieve young Yuit.

It was here that Orgoth also greeted them, his hulking form casting that long shadow as he gave out a loud yawn. He still clenched his gigantic twin blades, ever ready for conflict to arise. "Orgoth..." Miwa stated, eyes hardening on the giant. "Miwa..." the barbarian replied, cocking his head a little in confusion; did the fox-man want something? "In any event, I'll leave our Queen in your care, Orgoth. I've been asked to look after matters in the village while she escorts Yuit outside the village. Make sure nothing tries to kill them." Orgoth snorted, "A lone Wolf is more than enough deterrent. All they will taste is my steel and the bitterness of defeat."

"No Miwa..but that doesn't mean it should be any less my responsibility to worry about you instead of you worrying about me." Tiri'ol rolled her eyes, it felt like she was a teenager all over again talking to Miwa. The kitsune never seemed to take no for an answer when it came to worrying about her, and it made her giggle lightly. "Fine, you win this time Miwa. Don't expect to win every time with me though." Tiri'ol sighed. She couldn't imagine what Orgoth might say about looking over the inside of the city, or what she really would hope he would do for the festival.

Tiri'ol went to her wardrobe, pulling out a white and gold kimono. She put it on, before putting the red shawl over her arms. "You know Yuit, Miwa..I'm sure he's probably destroyed half the nursery in a tantrum." The thought brought joy to Tiri'ol's face. She shook her head, after all she could remember when she was much of a terror as a child. Hell, she had been a terrible daughter and princess until she had become the last nine tail and then..well Tiri'ol no longer had an excuse to misbehave. She had to be proper and worry over everyone else now.

Tiri'ol followed Yuit over to the maiden's hut, the women were already out early with some of the new borns taking care of them. Orgoth being there was something different, no doubt the wolf had known they would be coming to retrieve little Yuit from the Maiden's care. Tiri'ol's gaze looked at Miwa as he addressed Orgoth and Orgoth addressed him. Tiri'ol smiled sighing. "Boys..." She muttered as one of the elder maidens came to her. "Yuit please..I want to take him for a walk, yes..I'm feeling better." Tiri'ol didn't wait for the question, she knew it was something that would be asked and the woman only smiled and nodded as she went back into the hut.

"I'm sure he'll do fine in keeping us alive Miwa. You have nothing to worry about." Tiri'ol smiled softly at Miwa. "Thank you." Tiri'ol nodded, opening her arms as she saw little Yuit burst through the door and under the skirt of the maiden. Yuit cried, screaming Tiri'ol's name as he rushed to her feet, clinging to them. Tiri'ol bent down, picking up Yuit who wrapped his little arms around her necks tightly. She rubbed his back, sighing softly. "I'm feeling better Yuit, would you like to go for a walk around the village?" The boy pulled away looking at her, giving Miwa and Orgoth a dirty look before huffing and nodding his head. Tiri'ol nodded, laughing a bit as she looked at Orgoth. "Also..Orgoth, I have a request for you. The festival is in a few days..the people we are going to meet are very peculiar with the dress codes of the other races and I was wondering if you wouldn't mind letting Riri, Pip and the others measure you to make you something for the festival?.."

Tiri'ol did not wait all that long for Orgoth to get up, moving to leave the village gates to venture outside with Yuit in her arms. His head rested in the crook of her neck, no doubt he had barely slept at all last night. She walked slowly, carefully, trying not to disturb the child in her arms that was fighting back sleep. The guards bowed to her, before opening the wooden doors to her. No road laid in front, just woods. There was a small trail that had been made after many years of people walking the same small route, and Tiri'ol moved to follow it into the woods. Trees hung overhead, plants running wild on either side, animals skittering by in fright by the noise of their footsteps.

"Do your people enjoy walking? Or what do they do to relax their minds?" Tiri'ol wondered, looking at Orgoth from over her shoulder.

Orgoth heard the Queen's request and just nodded; truth be told, what was worn was irrelevant to him. Many times, Wolves would march naked through the camps. They only wore armor when fighting other barbarian bands or those Order slave-drivers; they might have been crazy, but they were not entirely unintelligent. Once the Queen rose, he followed close behind her, small tremors emanating from where his feet met the ground with every step. Not enough to disturb the sleeping child, but enough to be noticed.

"We do many things to pass the time between battles. We hunt, fish, fell timber, forge and cook." he explained, not understanding what the concept of relaxation was. To them, the menial but essential tasks of survival were their relaxation periods. The trails seemed well-worn, indicating to him that they were oft-used ones. So far everything was uneventful, but still Orgoth remained vigilant...One never knew when they might encounter something dangerous.

And soon enough, they would...At the very least moderately so: A four-legged hound-like creature, its hairless taut skin black as coal and bloodshot-looking red eyes, walked out just ahead of them. It stood as tall as Tiri'ol's waist, and had a body about as thick as Orgoth's arms side by side. Before long its nose lifted up, a couple short huffs emanating from its nostrils before it set its sights on them, letting out a bloodthirsty snarl. "Fyotu Goa..." the brute muttered as he moved up to stand in front of Tiri'ol; while not overly dangerous, these solitary hunters were faster than they looked. Though it was certainly a creature no match for a Kitsune of Tiri'ol's level, the fact that Yuit was with them meant Orgoth was better off handling this.

Seeing the massive male approach, the beast backed up a few paces; Orgoth's own teeth were bared as he growled throatily and angrily, heavy blades readied. It had wanted the small one in the female's grasp, having not eaten today but questioning whether it would be worth tackling two of them for an admittedly tiny morsel. The Wolf could see it was young, debating whether to go after them. Likely for the One-Tail, since it was relatively weak and vulnerable. Deciding retreat was the best option, it quickly turned tail and ran, disappearing down the trail and into the thick foliage. Orgoth let out a satisfied but deep huff through his nose.

"Fyotu Goa...Lone hunter and viciously territorial. Unlikely we will run into any more." he said, continuing to walk with the Queen once things had settled down. "This festival you mentioned...What is it?" he then asked her; having never been inside a giant city except the main Order fortress, he had no clue of the customs and what was expected of him.

"Yes, but what do you do to relax?" Tiri'ol's brows furrowed at the way Orgoth talked about the things he did in his village. No doubt he had no idea what the word relaxation meant, and she would most likely have to teach him. "Passing the time and relaxing are two different things Orgoth..For instance; If I wanted to say that I passed the time with being Queen and doing things to keep the kitsune safe. This would be entirely different from me taking a bath and not thinking, just letting my mind go and relaxing."

She moved around the woods, watching and looking at the flowers. Their were purple, pink, blue, yellow, red, lavender. Any color imaginable lived here in the edge of the woods. Although most of these flowers and plants were poisonous to most humans, and some to kitsune. "Well. Relaxing to me is walking around the woods with Yuit. Then again I've done this so long it's become relaxing."

Only when the brute muttered a name did Tiri'ol stop in her tracks. Having been humming and playing with Yuit's hair as she walked. Golden hues looked at the reds of the beast in front of her, no doubt wanting the infant in her arms. The muscles in her jaw tensed as she looked at the creature, moving her hand up to act to protect herself with arcane only to find..

The sight of Orgoth's back was surprising, and it caught the Queen off guard a bit. Sure other kitsune guards had walked with her before and protected her from danger, or Tiri'ol herself, but seeing his hulking mass of meaty shoulders in front of her was..weird? It was like a wall of muscle standing between her and the beast, and she could see each muscle as it tensed, as he taunted the creature with his own snarling.

When Orgoth turned to face her and speak, Tiri'ol covered her mouth laughing. He blocked out the little light that leaked inside with his hulking mass. The light kissed his skin behind him and the whole sight just made Tiri'ol laugh loudly.

"I'm sorry..sorry. I don't know why I'm laughing..." Tiri'ol gathered herself after a few moments, Yuit stirring from his sleep and rubbing his eyes. Tiri'ol walked beside him as she rubbed her eyes, patting Yuit's back as he yawned. "You can go back to sleep." Yuit stared daggers at Orgoth before snuggling back against Tiri'ol, eyes wide open. "Yes..I'm sorry. I should have mentioned they live here from time to time..though normally not this close to the village. I'll have to send out the guards later to make sure they get ride of any threats..just in case anyone else would like to walk the trail."

"The festival?..This particular one will be in remembrance of the dead...and we have to be on our best behavior. There are normally games, markets lit up, altars. Each one is different depending on which race hosts it." Tiri'ol sighed, rubbing Yuit's back as he sucked his thumb still glaring at Orgoth. "The kitsune never host any, anymore...Not since most of us became extinct. Most of them are frightened of what will happen if we open our gates to anymore festivals..since that was how most of us were wiped out by that..man." She blinked a few times, looking at Orgoth and smiling softly. "It's lots of fun though, and everyone dresses up in beautiful clothing for each one. I simply love tasting the tea that travels all over the world at them..and it's a big thing for us to make a good appearance since we need the trades the festival promises." Tiri'ol meant the races leader, which was the whole reason she was going. Though she did enjoy festivals in general, she needed this to go well to make sure they would have supplies that they desperately needed.

"I don't know how else to explain it..you just have to experience it." Tiri'ol smiled softly. "Some festivals are for love, or the new year, mating, marriage..There is all kinds. My parents fell in love at one..two nine tails from different tribes, story book romance." Tiri'ol laughed at the idea, though she had read the human books her mother had shown her, before her kind had began to hide. "What about your parents..did they have anything special like this from where you are from?"

Orgoth was a bit confused why she was laughing too; strong as the Kitsune might be, Fyuto Goa were not creatures to be trifled with. Even more confusing was her apology; did her time spent trying to lead her people drive her mad? "No apologies needed; Fyuto Goa are strong, but also good to eat. I would have loved to battle it and slaughter the beast for food. Fyuto Goa meat is stringy, though, and must be bled and washed repeatedly. Not a fun one to prepare...Yaui Goa, however, very rich and fatty. Hard to kill but delicious to eat." he explained, continuing to walk. Nothing fancy like the cities might make, but presentation rarely mattered when food was more a matter of survival than civility.

When she asked about their ceremonies and rituals, he had to think on that for a moment; there wasn't really much the Wolves did, aside from the Bright Rock Renewal feast. But would that count as something she would attend? Unlikely, but he would still delve into it.

"Admittedly, the barbarian tribes care little for festivities; we only normally celebrate once a hunt is successful or we capture more land for our people. However, among the Wolves we celebrate the return of the Bright Rock, where it grows in size and its presence in the heavens above commands the attention of all. Our people view it as a symbol of the new dawn, and celebrate its return to its rightful place in the dark heavens." Naturally, he was referring to the first full moon after it seemingly vanished from the sky. And of course they would know next to nothing of astrology or astronomy. All they knew was that at certain times of the year, the Bright Rock would expand more after it had vanished from view during the night.

"For what we must wear, why does that matter? Clothing is meant to warm during the Great Freeze or cool during the warmer periods. Why does the choice of clothing affect the views of others so drastically?" he then asked, demonstrating yet even more of his ignorance of civilized society.

The rest of the day had gone by pretty much without a hitch. Tiri'ol had sent out some of the arcane guards to hunt down anymore Fyuto Goa around the premises of the village. It turned out there was a whole litter of them, flock of them around a new forming pond a couple hundred feet from the village. The guards were ordered to terminate them, and so they did. One by one they brought home the carcass of the Fyuto Goa, dismembering their bodies at the slaughter house.

The butchers did their work, separating the various parts of meats. Making sure to purify them over arcane coals to get rid of all the poisons. They also poured the oils into a jar, giving it to Wao and his workers to mess with on their armor and weapon forging. Something that made the coals burn so much hotter.

The village ran smoothly, Tiri'ol taking it easy before the festival, well not entirely. The next couple of days she kept more or less to herself, going down the list of things she needed done before the festival. She knew who would in charge while she was away like always, though Miwa did not mind at all she knew he was not too thrilled about Orgoth going to protect her in his place.

Still the days had gone by quickly, and Tiri'ol had made arrangements for Yuit to stay with Miwa while she prepared one of the one tail kitsune to tag along with her. The little kitsune Tiri'ol had picked was an older one, one that had never been to a festival in his long life. He was on the verge of death, wounds never healing from the expedition and cleansing that had been done. Tiri'ol knew with some form of magic they might be able to help the one tails suffering, but he had refused. He had only wished to see something beautiful before going on his way to join his family. So Tiri'ol had agreed.

The morning of the festival came quicker than normal. First thing was first. A box was delivered outside of Orgoth's door for him. Containing both the robe he would be wearing, and some sandals that had been made out of bamboo. The robe seemed simple enough, orange with red around the edges in the form of intricate swirls to form the pattern. No doubt it would be much more suiting for a festival then his normal attire.

Tiri'ol was awake before the sun rose. Yuit had stayed with the madiens in their hut for the night, while Tiri'ol woke and drank some tea. She made sure to take a bath and clean herself, before moving to get dressed. She pulled her long hair into a braid letting it fall behind her as she pulled on her dress the one tails had designed for her. Tiri'ol pulled her braid over her shoulder, brushing her tails and putting on her sandals before she went out of her hut. The carriage was already ready outside as she fumbled with putting some earrings in.

Slowly, Queen Tiri'ol greeted everyone who was up bright and early to see her off. Moving to the carriage outside of the village to wait for Orgoth. Giant turtles were latched to the carriage to pull it. These were not normal turtles, they were nearly as big as one of the smaller huts, and all sorts of flowers grew on their backs. Not to mention, one was a soft hue of blue and the other the creamy color of a cloud. There were also several other types of horses waiting, some of guards already on their back as she looked around for Orgoth.

"Are you ready my lady?" A two tail kitsune came up to her bowing, he would be guiding the carriage.

"Do you think the horses will hold him?" Her ears flickered, a bit worried by the idea. Orgoth was so massive...she invisioned him squishing the poor horse below his weight. "We have such a long trip that I worry..." Tiri'ol pressed her hands together. Trying to not let the worry register in her face, she flicked her tails. Not yet had she seen Miwa to greet him morning and tell him good bye. Though the fesitval would only last a day or two, Tiri'ol always did worry about trivial matters such as these.

"We um.." The small male brushed his blue hair out of his eye. The right eye he had was scarred over, the hair having hidden it. A sword was strapped to his hip, his left hand on it as he pondered. He too had a hard time seeing the massive mountain riding on the back of a horse. "I um..I could fetch another turtle..." The male spoke softly.

"Pin-ro, go fetch another turtle would you?" Tiri'ol pressed a finger to her chin as the kitsune turned around to her and bowed.

"Yes mi'lady!" Pin-ro dashed off then, blue tails swirling behind him as he bumped into a few other kitsune along his way to the stables. The turtles were the sizes of three horses combined. They also looked like they would be slower, but Tiri'ol knew for certain they would be faster and she would not have an issue worrying about Orgoth's weight breaking the back of one.

It took a several minutes, and Tiri'ol stood waiting for Miwa and Orgoth to come to the front as Pin-ro came back with another turtle. This turtle was a deep ruby color, orange flowers and white springing from the shell on it's back. It's face was grumpy, and it chewed on the reign as Pin-ro pulled it.

Indeed, the day went by without much to consider; the Wolf would have loved to join the hunt, as Fyuto Goa were excellent prey. However, his duty was not to indulge; he was here in service for their assistance to his people in the war. There would be time for such things later, though he did get to partake in the Goa meat during the evening feast. Something that made his sleep after Miwa would take his shift that much more deep and relaxing; and with the oil that they used not only as fuel for their furnaces but to quench the metal more evenly, they would find their steels more flexible and tough.

His slumber would soon be interrupted, however, as one of the attendants that would be accompanying them awoke him. Leaving the new robe before his doorstep as he went to answer, but found no one there. Opening it, he saw the attire that he would be forced to don; attempting to slide it over his head, he would see that his armor simply would not fit under the cloth. Letting a loud snort pass through his nostrils, he unshackled his armor and left the pieces strewn about his quarters. Even without the armor, the robe was constrictive...Like it was trying to suffocate him.

Even so, he knew his promise....Which meant having to let them don whatever attire they deemed appropriate. Thankfully, the weavers had seen fit to include his robe with loops to secure his massive blades to, meaning he would not travel unarmed. The sandals, however, were surprisingly comfortable; being extremely lightweight, he felt much lighter than he normally would. And the robe covered the area above his feet, hiding most of the scars from view. At the very least, the fabric was breathable...And with the soaps he was told to use, he - unknowingly to his own standards, of course - actually came across half-way decent.

Something that Miwa took note of as he went to double-check on the Queen; givign an approving nod, he said "Well now, Orgoth...And here I thought outsiders couldn't look presentable. The robe will certainly preserve your modesty much better than that clunky, unflattering plate-mail you insist on wearing." Orgoth just snorted, "The plate-mail kept me safe during the Great Battle; and this robe hinders my movement to a nearly intolerable amount. Were it not for my oath to serve I would rip this from my body in an instant."

Miwa snickered, "Yes, no doubt this type of ritual will take some getting used to. Just...For the Queen's sake, please don't make a big fuss about it; besides, your size alone will help it stretch some as you travel." The pair would remain silent after that, quickly running into the Queen and her guards; true to their nature, Orgoth would be the only 'Royal Guard' with her on this trip. Ko, Rai'thi and Miwa would remain here - despite the third one's silent protests - to ensure that the village remained safe. The conversation not missing Orgoth's ears; true enough, the horses - though large in their own right - would not be able to sustain his weight safely.

Even still, the giant seemed perplexed by the presence of such large Goa like these; he'd honestly never seen them before. "Impressed, Orgoth?" Miwa commented, seeing Orgoth run a smooth hand over the deep-red shell of the new turtle, feeling it shake as it took another breath. "Giant Land Turtles...Very useful and much quicker than their size might give away. No offense, but your body will simply be too much for our steeds to handle; these beautiful creatures, however, will be able to handle you most well. Now go on...Up you get." And with a slight jump of his massive figure, Orgoth's titanic form slid up the shell to sit on the turtle's back.

With that done, Miwa went to talk with the Queen, "M'lady...I wish you a safe travel. And don't worry, Ko, Rai'thi and myself will take good care of the village in your stead. And Yuit as well!" And when the commands were given, the gate was opened, the troupe soon leaving for the distant city of the Kobolds; it was their annual festivity to mark the turnover of the New Cycle, and it was here that Orgoth would find a people he'd never seen but could easily relate to...If his namesake were anything to go by.

The travel to the walled city was uneventful, save for a few run-ins with the local indigenous wildlife; soon upon arriving, however, Orgoth would see what appeared to be sizable two-legged hounds. And before them, several convoys lined up to the entrance, more of the strange creatures checking each wagon. Likely contraband and anything that could be used to bring harm to their people; as it was, a huge drawbridge was currently up, leading to a giant set of iron double-doors that was on the other side of a giant pit circumferencing the entire walled city. "What manner of beasts are those? To Goa do not stand, unless they attempt to better locate a scent." Orgoth asked, one of the other guards replying "These are the Merikan...Another race persecuted by the High Priest's genocidal campaign; they suffered what could be argued a far worse fate than us, however: The deplorable man used a specialized poison to eradicate but a few of their male counterparts, and even to this day the birth rate is low...So much so that their Elders have begun to allow the females to not only mate with more than one male, but even breed outside their species if they must."

However, the ones that were patrolling seemed to be quite strong, their noses eagerly sniffing the carts and wagons as they patrolled each caravan. "Ah, these must be the Kitsune; I'd recognize their scent from a mile away. Probably the best here; the rest of them have those horrible perfumes and soaps that make me wanna vomit" one Kobold soldier said as their convoy would be inspected next, the others grunting in agreement; Orgoth's brow raised, the same guard stating "This is why we use special soaps whenever we come to this kindgom; the Merikan have exceptionally sharp senses of smell, and most cleansers are far too over-powering for them." At least that alone made sense to Orgoth, now just waiting for them to give.

"OK, they're good! Open the gates and let them in!" one soldier barked loudly, the massive drawbridge being lowered down as the doors opened...And the doors opened to reveal stands right inside the city walls. Vendors selling everything from tools to cured meats, from a communal drinking pool to tournaments where soldiers were re-enacting their victories they had in the Great Battle. Music was played, but it wasn't the loud boisterous kind that Orgoth was expecting; in fact, had he not been listening, he might have missed it altogther. His eyes traveled from the sights in front of him to his sides as he disembarked, their mounts being taken aside to be treated for any injuries and fed properly.

Tiri'ol was relieved when she turned to see Miwa approaching, but it took her a double take to realize the giant oaf of a man really was Orgoth. Seriously, he looked halfway decent like that and a smile crept onto her face.

"Thank you Miwa. I know you'll take great care of the village and Yuit while I am away. I am sure Orgoth will keep me safe as well." Tiri'ol hoped as much. She knew Miwa was not pleased, though he had not really voiced as much. He knew better than to defy her orders, she was Queen and he was suppose to listen. Though this too made Tiri'ol uneasy, she still tried to stay calm and see the brighter of the situation. It would only be a few days, and she had high doubts anything would go wrong. Tiri'ol made sure when Orgoth was impressed and captivated by the red shelled tortoise to press her lips against Miwa's cheek for a final goodbye. She wiped her lipstick off his face with a shy smile. "When I come back I wouldn't mind sleeping next to you again."

She moved to the carriage, climbing inside and closing the doors. Tiri'ol pulled open the blinds to look outside as they traveled. Everything went simple, and she got to enjoy the scenery before taking a short nap, making sure to close the blinds as she did.

It was when they slowed down that Tiri'ol stirred. Her ears stood on her head as she opened the blinds and smelled the air. Ahh, there was the Kobold scent, and she could hear them speaking about them. That, and she overheard the conversation Orgoth was having with a guard. At least now he knew why they had given him the soaps.

Them checking the carts and her carriage only took a few seconds. Tiri'ol was happy when they were finally inside the gates, getting out of the carriage as Pin-ro opened the door for her. He moved, allowing the kobold to take the cart with the turtles and Tiri'ol looked at Orgoth. First, she breathed in the air, tensing a bit at the large perfumery smell. She pressed the back of her fingers to her nose.

"If I can smell that is strong, I can't imagine what the Merikan are smelling." Tiri'ol smiled and shrugged moving over to Orgoth. She examined the robe and nodded. "They did well, it fits you right. Well, shall we explore? You are a warrior..I'm sure you will enjoy the food stalls the best." Tiri'ol pointed her finger towards a long line of stalls that had been setup, smoke billowing out from the tops of them. "None of us have ate yet, and it will be a while before we can see the leader of the Merikans. So let's enjoy ourselves! Yes?" Pin-Ro and the over soldiers nodded as Tiri'ol smiled. She lightened up, almost like a little kid as she moved towards the food stales.

Once inside the city walls, there was indeed plenty of activity: The Kitsune troupe and Orgoth would see plenty of Merikan females around, ranging from performance dancers to metalsmiths and of course, food vendors. One noticeable difference was that the females seemed to possess more humanoid features than the males, likely due to the increased cross-species breeding necessitated by the decimating nature of the Priest's poison. With the toppling of that despotic maniac though, it meant such occurrences could happen regularly again: The people could celebrate, trade openly, and virtually resume their normal ways of life.

For most of the Kitsune, they indeed had to cover their noses a little; there were plethoras of different species, including humans, that seemed to douse themselves in needlessly odoriferous washes; Orgoth was included in this, but seemed to try and focus on the pleasant scent of the food vendors. And with this, Orgoth would follow the Queen as she went to the some of the first stands, other of the soldiers dispersing as she, the sickly two-tails and the giant approached.

The female running the stand - a lithe thing in a simple black dress that was conservatively hiding her feminine features - was currently helping another customer, the trio watching as the patron (a brown-haired human dressed in brown cloth leggings and a tunic over a white undershirt) gave her coin for the purchase of a smoked bird leg before leaving. "Ah, welcome, welcome! You won't find an--" she started to greet cheerfully, but when she laid eyes on Orgoth the ears atop her head flattened in slight shock and fear; Merikan males were already scary enough, but this one! He looked like he could eat them all and still have room for seconds!

"How much for meat? " Orgoth then asked; truth be told, his mouth watered from the scent of her kills. Whatever she was doing made them far more appealing than anything he'd ever come across. "I-I-Uhm...Sorry, twenty for a half-side, thirty for a flank and if you want smaller portions we can negotiate by stones." she tried to say, her deep-green eyes trying to not show fear but doing very little in succeeding. Orgoth smiled, unintentionally in a rather maniacal manner as he eyed the Merikan woman, "A half-side will be a great starter! I'm half-tempted to jump back and devour everything you have, it smells delicious!"

Tiri'ol made sure to find the elder one tail kitsune. She picked up the small fragile thing, putting it in a make shift carry pouch out of bamboo on Pin-ro's back. She pulled the small kitsune's legs through the holes, allowing him to adjust and look over Pin-ro's head.

"I should be riding the mountain..." The one tail called. "He'll let me know what it's like to dance with the clouds before I die." Tiri'ol looked at the old thing, looking at Orgoth and back shaking her head.

"Perhaps we can find somewhere in the Merikans village where you can be up high Oele. Does that sound nice?" Oele, the old one tail with a weathered face; purple hair, purple tats between his brows on his forehead, black ears and tails with black eyes. He looked at her with a dull expression. If you did not know him, you most likely would think he was un amused by the queens proposel as they moved to the food stales.

"Oh my! Yes yes yes!" Oele said with an enthusatic voice. Though his face still remained dull as ever as he grabbed onto Pin-ro's ears.

"Hey! You! Stop that!" Pin-ro protected as Oele pulled on his ears to try to steer him.

"I am a old kitsune Pee pee lad. Please allow me to do as I please!" Oele insisted as they got the stale. Pin-ro turned his head, glaring over his shoulder.

"I swear if you had not mated with my grandmother I would have thrown you down a hole a long time ago!" Pin-ro grunted as they listened to the Merikan vendor converse with other customers.

"I forgot you two were related..I knew you were both from the same village..." Tiri'ol started with her hands pressed together. She could smell the food and it was causing her mouth to water. Still, being queen she tried her best to hide the fact as she engaged in the conversation.

"Just because he mated with my grandma does not mean he is a part of my family!" Pin-ro said with a reddened face. Oele slowly leaned forward grabbing his cheeks and pulling them as Pin-ro cried and squirmed. Tiri'ol couldn't help but laugh.

"Such a big boi much such a fussy face! Here Pee pee lad! Let me make you smile!" Tiri'ol closed her eyes laughing at the display. She had forgotten in all the seriousness how undermining Oele was to Pin-ro. Though it had been a long explanation for her to get the grasp of their entire relationship. Pin-ro had been abandoned as a little cub of a kitsune. He had been adopted by a family of one tails in one of the summer land tribes, though the one tail that had raised him was old enough to be his grandmother and prefered to be addressed as such. Oele had fought for the kitsune's attention, and despite Pin-ro's jealous protests they had mated. It was only when the purge had happened that Oele took to watching over Pin-ro. Knowing the kitsune had lost his eye from trying to protest the female that had raised him only to lose her as well.

"Oh?" Tiri'ol jerked her head when the woman behidn the counter spoke. Though she looked up as the Merikan's frightened eyes stared at Orgoth. Tiri'ol herself folded her ears over her head with the way she spoke. She moved forward, putting a hand on the giants arm to try to get him to coax himself down from making a scene. Though she doubted he knew he was. "Apologies. My friend Orgoth is not very well accustomed to these type of things. He only wishes to express how wonderful your stand smells." Tiri'ol sighed, watched as one of the guards brought out a pouch and fiddled through it for the coins. "Whatever he wants is fine. A stack of ribs and a few smaller portions as well." Tiri'ol amused. She looked at the lot of them and pondered as her ears stood up. "Actually, make the order double. I'm sure we can all eat that."

"Ah, I-I see..." the stall-maiden replied meekly, Orgoth giving the Queen a confused look; wasn't complimenting the smell of food a good thing? Indeed, the titan had much to learn about presenting himself. And Orgoth was so absorbed by the food that he missed the rather humorous scene between Oele and Pin-ro; sure enough, Merikan and other passerby were getting a good laugh from the scene in question as they moved along. Yes, at some point, they would have to find a high-point

No ill will to be found here; not that anyone would really think of stirring up trouble during a festival meant to celebrate the Merikan's version of the cycle of renewal. The High Priest had done enough of that, therefore very few would even think of spoiling such a joyous time with thoughts of malice or anger. Even Orgoth seemed to be getting into the spirit of the festival, a wide grin splitting his face as he downed the whole side of meat in what seemed like seconds; thankfully for Tiri'ol it seemed the Merikan males ate the same way, so at the very least she wouldn't have to worry about him being viewed as a slob from their hosts's point of view.

After the party had gotten their meats, they would go on to explore the rest of the festival, seeing other stands like ironsmithing and seamstresses selling dress of a variety of colors. It seemed the Merikan didn't mind flair in their clothing, so long as it didn't overtly sexualize their women, meaning that any chance of showing leg or chest was virtually null. Not that any one person in the Kitsune group would likely mind; after all, there were plenty of races and cultures where the women were viewed as mere objects of lust and desire.

In any event, the group would come across a rather interesting spectacle this year: Theater combat, a spectacle where Merikan actors would play out the various battles and triumph's of their civilization's history. Granted it wasn't uncommon for a host to both entertain and educate the crowd about their culture, but the Merikan were usually quite withdrawn and reserved. The closest thing they'd ever done is have a number of their people at famous landmarks within the walled city, going on and retelling the legends of fabled Merikan heroes and the first of their kind to build the walls and such.

"Oh, let's watch this!" Orgoth proclaimed excitedly; of course, where he was from, the 'play combat' was a good deal more violent and more often than not they actually hurt each other. But he didn't need to know that; as it was, he seemed fairly content with watching the 'battles' unfold. Especially when it came time when there were Merikans dressed up as Order Templars and Knights, doing everything they could to make them look as silly as possible; the high-pitched squeals of laughter from the Merikan children showed that it was working too.

One of the other guards, meanwhile, went off of his own volition and asked a Merikan stall vendor nearby where a decent high-point would be; returning to the Queen's side, he then said "If Oele still wishes, Your Grace, there's an overlook at the eastern-most end of the village. A hallowed spot of meditation that overlooks the entire village...Perhaps after this is over, we could all travel over there?"
