A Runaway Hiding

She smiled and wrapped her arms around his human half, making sure to grab a cloak for herself since the weather was still chilly. She was glad that she could finally have him as her husband, and they could do all they wanted without anyone saying otherwise. Koli wasn't going to lie. She loved just how big he was, his height, cock size, and shoulder width. He was the perfect lover for her, not her former fiance. She moved to kiss his neck before she clung to him a bit tighter, letting him know that she was ready to go whenever he was.

He smirked and moved over to the cart that was to one side of the door. He had loaded it yesterday inbetween fuck sessions . there was one thing that was for sure he would be worn out before she was. He took hold of the handles and told her to strap the harness around his midsection. After it was on he pulled he cloak out of the saddle bag and putting it on started off into the forest that still had all little bit of snow here and there but alongside it flowers were coming out.

She smiled and moved her hands over his strong back, ready for the ride. She hadn't been able to resist teasing him a bit when she strapped his harness on him. Her hands had lingered on his stomach, moving down toward his cock, though she smiled and pulled back before she was tempted to fuck him once more before they left. She snuggled up to him under his much larger cloak, resting her head against his back as they trekked into the forest. "You never really told me about your family, my love, other than your first wife, though I don't blame you after all of the fucking we've been doing."

He laughed softly as the continued on. â??Well that might be kind of hard. Considering that in centaur community we are all family. I think you are referring to the human concept of family, well I honestly donâ??t know it has been so long. I havenâ??t been back to see my family since my last wife died. They do know about it but I canâ??t stand to be with them much. because of all the memories. Wellâ?¦I have seen my brother once a year at the time of the gathering he came by to pick up my wares since I wasnâ??t coming. And when you arrived I went to see him because I needed some advice.â?

She smiled and snuggled against him, enjoying how warm he was against her in the cold weather. "Well, at least you have a semi-decent family. Better than what I have." She kissed his shoulder lightly. "Be glad you can choose whether or not you want to see them." She sighed softly and nuzzled into him, closing her eyes. "So how far is it to the village?" She kissed him again and smiled happily as she snuggled him. She was willing to fall asleep there on his back, knowing that he would probably keep going the whole time.

He smiled and reached back to rub her leg softly. â??You donâ??t have to see your family ever again lover. You are with me now and you never have to go back.â? He continued riding as she thought and shrugged a little. â??About a day away we will stop at the camping ground where all the centaurs coming from this area stop for a rest. Feel free to sleep love we will be there sometime late in the evening.â?

"The only 'family' I had left was my father. My friends were more family than he was. So as much as possible, I want to avoid seeing him again." She yawned and dozed off with his gentle gait. She sighed softly, still holding onto him, though her arms were still wrapped around him. She only wanted a little nap, since she did want to play with him sometime today, even if it meant when they were at the camp.

The hours past Korinos used to the silence of being alone but now reassured that it was just temporary by the warmth and pressure on his back. It was dusk when they showed up at the camp and there was commotion all around as people were pitching tents and getting food ready. Korinos gently reached back and rubbed her leg again. â??Koli its time to get up.â?

She groaned and sighed softly as he woke her. She blinked and peeked out from underneath his cloak to see other girls dressed similar to her in mating dresses, never straying too far from other centaurs. Most of those centaurs weren't quite as large as Korinos, and she smiled. She had this big centaur stallion that, if he was in fact, a horse, he would have been a massive war horse, that only the greatest generals rode. She smiled and held him tightly, kissing his shoulder lightly. "I love you, Korinos."

He looked over his shoulder wondering what had gotten into her but smiled, â??And I love you Koli.â? He looked around the camp site and frowned. â??Koli you better get off and unhook the cart we will not be going any farther today.â? There was something that sounded a little worried in his voice but he said nothing about it just looking over the gathered centaurs.

She nodded and slipped off of his back, undoing his harness with ease, silent in response to him. She lightly rubbed his side as she dropped the harness in the cart. She didn't miss the worry in his voice, but she trusted that he would tell her if he needed to. She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder. She hated the fact that he was worried, and it took all of her willpower to not mention anything.

He sighed and went back to check the cart to make sure that nothing had gotten damaged on the trip, even though he knew that it wouldnâ??t since he had been careful to pack it all right. He wasnâ??t used to sharing his feelings and what was going on even though they had spent the last several months alone together, something like this had never come up. He would need her to remind him that she needed to know what was going on or he would leave he in the dark without meaning too.

The smaller girl pursed her lips and climbed up onto the cart so she was almost eye-level with the centaur. She reached her hands out to his, taking them in hers. She wasn't liking his avoidance and worrying over something that obviously had nothing to do with his wares. "Korinos...look at me." She brought his hands up to her face, nuzzling into them. "This goes against my better judgment and nature, but i want you to tell me what's going on. You're worried about something, and I want to know why. I'm marrying you, and I don't want to be shut out of your thoughts and worries."

He blinked as she made it clear what he had been doing. He smiled and sighed leaning in close kissing her softly. â??Iâ??m sorry Koli my love I wasnâ??t meaning to shut you out.â? He sighed again looking around one last time still not seeing his brother. â??Its just that I donâ??t see my brother and his family, and he has never been late to a gather or camp even when he was coming by my house to collect my wares for the gathering when I wasnâ??t going. He always was on time, except this once.â?

She wrapped her arms around him, sighing softly. "Maybe something came up, and they couldn't make it." She smiled and moved her hands to rub at his upper arms slowly, doing her best to make him relax. "Maybe someone in his family's sick, and he didn't want to leave them to be bored at home while he's having fun here." Her hands moved back down his arms to intertwine their fingers together. "I'm sure they're fine, my love."

He sighed trying to believe her but it just didnâ??t see right it wasnâ??t like his brother. They would have just brought the sick person with them normally. He supposed that it was possible after all Karin was very protective of her son but it just didnâ??t fit. He smiled at her and nodded slowly, â??I hope you are right.â?

The moment those words left his lips something happened to prove that things werenâ??t all right. There was a cry from the edge of the camp. It was slightly more north then they were and Korinos reached up picking Koli up and gently and with her help flipping her back onto his back. As soon as she was settled they were off to find out what it was. The sight the greeted them was horrible, a young centaur lad was laying face down on the ground an arrow in his back. His chest was moving but only slightly.

Koli obligingly let him flip her onto his back, wrapping her arms tightly around him as he ran off in the direction of the cry. She was enough of a horseback rider to know how to hang onto him bareback as he galloped. She gasped when she saw the boy on the ground, and she slipped off of his back as he still moved on. She was going to do her best to help the young centaur. The girl dropped to her knees beside him, placing a gentle, but firm hand on his shoulder to keep him still. She wasn't the only one to stop, though, and another person, an elder female centaur, knelt beside her with some medicine and pulled the arrow from the boy's back. She quickly sealed the wound on the boy's back with the medicine to keep him from bleeding anymore. Without a word, she handed Koli a bandage and helped to lift the younger centaur enough to allow the human girl to wrap the bandage around him.

The young boy groaned lightly as he was rolled over and was clearly out cold. However just that little lift was enough for Korinos to recognize him.

One of the older males came forward, â??Anyone know this boy?â?

Korinos stepped forward, â??He is my nephew.â? The anger in his voice was clear and Koli knew him well enough at this point to know that something bad was about to happen.

The old woman looked at the arrow and her eyes narrowed, â??This is a human made arrow.â?

That was all Korinos needed to know he turned calling over his shoulder. â??Koli stay with him.â? he raced to the cart pulling out his personal sword and shield. Before anyone could do anything to stop him he was off into the woods heading in a eastern direction.

She didn't know that this was his nephew until Korinos spoke up. She simply pulled the boy closer to herself, letting his head rest in her lap. Koli wasn't about to stop him. She knew that when he had gotten this upset, it was best to not to try to stop him. She shook her head and held the boy, smoothing his hair, trying to keep herself calm enough to take care of her soon-to-be nephew if he did wake up. She bit her lip as he raced off into the woods, a bit worried that she would never see him again.

It wasn;t long before the boy slowly opened his eyes looking up at her. his eyes were a deep haunting blue, his breathing was still slightly rough as he coughed hard. â??Wâ?¦Who are you?â? he asked looking up at her a worried look in his face.

The other Centaurs were arguing and wanting to chase after Korinos, not wanting to stop him but rather to join him in the battle that he was heading toward. No one but Koli would have noticed yet that the boy was awake.

She smiled as she looked down at the boy that was slowly regaining consciousness. "Go ahead and rest. I'm Koli. I'm going to marry your uncle Korinos." She continued to comb her fingers through his hair in a soothing manner. "Don't move too much. I'm not going to hurt you. Your uncle wanted me to stay with you." She smiled sweetly down at him. "What's your name?"

A quick glance up told her that none of the others had noticed, and she was rather glad of that. The young centaur needed to rest, and more than likely, the other centaurs would want to question him and find out what had happened. As long as she could, she wasn't going to let that happen.

Korinos rushed through the forest at a full gallop swerving around trees and jumping anything shorter than most humans. It wasnâ??t far too his brotherâ??s cottage and he knew that he had to hurry. That arrow had belonged to humans, and that meant that slavers were at his brotherâ??s door.

It wasnâ??t long before he came out into the clearing around his brotherâ??s cottage seeing that he was right. They had his brother tied up hand and hooves loading him into the cart no matter how much he struggled. His mate was in tears and it seemed that some of the men were trying to comfort her. She was arguing with them trying to get to her husband. That was at least one plus they were the slavers that thought they were doing good, they thought they were saving the girls from monsters, rather than just out for themselves to make money in which case she already would have been raped at least once.

Korinos didnâ??t slow down taking all this into account and heading right for the only one that seemed to be carrying a bow. Before anyone even knew what was happening Korinos had killed two and freed his brother. The slavers now were faced with two very large, very pissed centaurs. Not to mention the wife of one of those centaurs that now had the sword of the leader of the slaver in her hand and pressed to his throat.

Needless to say with no bows in their group now the slavers rushed off except for the leader who was now bound and gagged. It was only twenty minutes after he had left that Korinos came back to the camp site with his brother, sister-in-law, and the slaver leader in tow.

None of the other males had left to follow Korinos, since they were still arguing. The old woman left Koli and the young centaur alone to get to know each other since they were soon to be family anyway. The girl learned that her future nephew's name was Aetos before he fell fast asleep again in her lap. She smiled and continued to smooth his hair until she saw Korinos and another centaur, along with two humans, one of them female and the other male. The male human was bound and gagged, barely able to walk along behind them, but with the centaur warriors all around, he was looking a little sheepish. Koli was glad to see her lover, but she wouldn't dare move since Aetos looked so comfortable there in her lap.

The instant that the woman saw her son she rushed right over to him. she dropped down beside Koli and brushed the young centaurâ??s hair back seeing that he was still breathing. The worried mother sighed and leaned her head agiast Koliâ??s shoulder looking completely worn out. â??Oh thank godâ?¦â? she looked up at Koli, â??Thank you for taking care of him, I donâ??t believe I know you? Iâ??m Meg.â?

Koli smiled and gently shifted the young boy to his mother's lap. "He's strong for someone his age. You probably don't know me, since I'm new. I'm Koli." She smiled and wrapped an arm around Meg's shoulders, knowing that she needed the support since her son was injured. "I've only been here since the first blizzard of the winter. You must be Korinos's sister-in-law. It's nice to meet you."
