The Phantom strikes Konosuba!?! (OVA)

It is a rowdy day at the Adventurers guild. The job board posts a number of kill quest. Slay giant frogs for money, prepare the great cabbage hint. So on and so forth. There is one job that stands above the rest. It requires investigation of sexual assaults on female adventurers in the City of Axel. The reward is 10 times that of a normal job. It is open to all.
 
Ynes was previously just a schoolgirl. She had a hobby as well, as she would spend some spare time practicing Judo. This all got turned on its head one day when Ynes was simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. There was a robbery in progress and a gunfight had broken out. Ynes did not know if it was a bullet meant for her, or if it was a stray deflected shot. She was hit, and that was the end of her story, or so she thought.

Everything around Ynes would turn to light, just like the descriptions of what the journey to heaven would be when you are on death's door. However something was blocking the way. Soon Ynes would realize that it was not something, but someone. A woman who identified herself as Eris would confront Ynes. She looked like a nun, and identified herself as Eris. This woman asked one question, "Would you be willing to fight against the Demon King?" Ynes instinctively would answer yes. She was then gifted a bag by Eris. This bag contained a wand that would allow Ynes the ability to transform into a much more powerful version of herself. One that would be capable of defeating the evils of this new world she would be introduced into.

A woman would walk towards the guild hall holding now an empty soup pot and various papers with gold. She would wave a bit as she heard people calling out, "KARI OVER HERE" Her black dress and white gloves kind of gave her a unique look to most priests in the town.

Kari would yawn a bit as she stepped into the Adventurer's guild hall. She had a few job requests made with their fees as she walked up to the guild clerk. "Hey again sorry been tending to the elderly down the street with soup." She pauses looking over at the jobs, "So uh I brought the rewards for the jobs I have and you know how it goes I usually tag a..." Her eyes keep wandering at the competition as she freezes seeing the one about female adventurers and the cash, "Wait....did B..." She shakes her head, "I mean it's that pervert isn't it." She places the jobs and the reward money down, A few of them legit was just to feed her pets that she cared for at her manor.

"So uhm....is a group looking into that yet....I will go and help just to make sure its not you know who.....my mother did get rid of him I thought...then again Belzarg is not the nicest of places....At least not like our town axis is."
 
"Miss are you alright? Do you know where you are?" Asked Leon the town guard. He saw a flash of light and now a strange girl. If he had to guess, she was a reincarnation of a Japanese person. (Ynes) While rare, it wasn't an unheard of in Axel. "I am Leon the town guard. Would you like me to help you get your bearings?" he offered politely.

Ynes would be automatically able to speak and read the native language people used. A Gift from the goddess to her.
 
Ynes would not immediately answer the guard that had approached her. Afterall, Ynes was for all intents and purposes just shot by a stray bullet and about to die. Now she would look over herself and realize that she was fine. It was as if the previous few minutes, at least to her, had not ever taken place. Looking herself over as best she could, Ynes would realize she was dressed in her school uniform. Though what Ynes felt was odd, was that she now had a bag. She could also see the wand that was afforded her by Eris. However she could not see what else was in the bag for the time being.

Result: 6 (Dimensional Bag)

"Well, my name is Ynes and no.. I do not know where I am. I was sent here to opposed the Demon King." As Ynes sought to produce a pair of gloves to show what she had planned on fighting with. "Is this normal?" Ynes would posit loud enough to be heard but not directly speaking toward Leon. Ynes felt like she might well be a stranger in a strange land. "I would glady accept any help you are able to offer."

Lynn the guild receptionist sighed. "This is where people offer QUESTS. What you are offering are more like odd jobs. I doubt many people would be interested in these," she complained. Despite that she took the money and posted the listings. Upon the mention of 'that' job Lynn quirks a brow. "Well it could be a copy cat. No one knows who or what this attacker is really. Sorry, npo one has showed interest in that job. Hopefully you could form a party."

Well Ynes pulled out a pair of sturdy MMA gloves. "Well you are in the kingdom of Belzerg. This is the city of Axel where many people seek to become adventurers and one day defeat the demon king. I personally settled for being a town guard. But I can take you to the Adventurers Guild if you like. There you can get registered and begin your career. Follow me," Said Leon. He would then lead Ynes to the Adventures Guild and bar. On the way she would be treated to the busy market street of Axel and it's many sights and sounds. When they arrive Leon stops just inside. You see Kari talking to a receptionist behind the counter.
 
Ynes would take Leon at face value. What possible reason would a town guard have for misleading her, Ynes would ponder as she accepted the offer. "Thank you, Leon. I appreciate the assistance." Ynes would try to recall anything that she learned in geography class, but the names that Leon mentioned did not seem to register with her. It was something that she would eventually try to look into, but for now she would follow Leon to this Adventurer's Guild. "Are there many others here to defeat the Demon King?" Ynes would posit toward Leon. Ynes was a little hesitant about asking more questions as she was known previously for being shy around others.
 
A curvy lady - Aurora - steps from an alleyway. She walks with a sure step, and confident stance, and her figure - curves hiding muscles - easily shows both ways she became well-known.

She ruffles the head of an urchin, the helpful yet concerning news having caught her attention immediately, and tosses the little scamp a small coin for bringing the matter to her.

“Alright, Leon - what is it today? This seems worse than some jerk perving on women in the bathhouse like last month. And who’s the new blood?” She indicates Ynes with a sharp upward jerk of her head, a calculating glance going over the youth as she does so.

Barely waiting for a response, Aurora continues her stride over to the job board and takes a good look at the listing, her eyes lingering noticeably on the reward available. The semi-retired adventurer speaks back over her shoulder - “I’ve got someone I know looking after the tavern for the next few weeks, so I can afford to take this bounty a little slower than the whole sewer-crab debacle Jeremiah pulled me in for last time...”
She turns back around to see the guard and Ynes trotting off to the guildhouse. Whether they heard her or not, she throws her hands in the air and follows them to the well-appointed building.
 
Leon Stopped and welcomed Aurora with a big smile. "Ah, Aurora! Well I found this girl Ynes wandering outside. She is one of those Japanese people. I am going to help her register with the Adventure Guild. Ynes this is Aurora. She is a swords woman and adventurer. Aurora, this is Ynes," Said Leon making the introductions.

"There has been many to defeat the Demon King. But to be honest no one has seen him in years. He is in his castle behind a magic barrier. Only high level adventurers with a lot of experience can enter. I suppose you will have to find a party, complete quests, and level up quite a bit before you can even think of taking him on. Maybe Aurora could tutor you. Since she is a real adventurer," he glanced over to the Swords woman.

Getting Ynes registered is first thing first. She would meet Lynn at the guild counter. "Please touch the orb", Said Lynn. When she does it transcribes her attributes and Name on a piece of paper. "Hmm you seem to have two scores for each attribute. Odd. Well all that is left is to pick your class and pay a the 500 Eris fee," said Lynn. What? Money? Ynes has no money! Time to make a magic bag check!

"Well I really appreciate that Aurora. That priestess over there, Kari, has been asking about those looking into this mess. She could be a useful party member with her healing magic. To be blunt, I doubt it is just one attacker. The area is too spread put and too many variables. It might be a bunch of copy cats or roving degenerates. But we need facts instead of theories. The Mayor posted that quest and will offer a hefty reward to see this matter dealt with," Explained Leon. He gave Aurora an appraising look. Yes, he saw the woman who could probably kick his butt in a fight. But he also saw the woman who had all the right curves in all the right places. Looking over to Ynes and Kari he realized sending in those three would probably get results because they would get attacked. The question is can they fend the attacker off and turn the tables.

Ynes would be startled for a moment as she was asked for 500 eris. Surely she did not get reincarnated in this world just to have no money to get herself situated. Ynes would pull a few coins out of her bag. Offering one toward Aurora, "Would this do? I think I might need a room as well, hopefully we can take care of that as well?" Ynes figured this would get her situated.

After paying the fee, Ynes would look through a bit and see alot of choices that were not available to her. She wanted to pick a class that represented her ability as a grappler, or perhaps she would find something along the lines of her being able to transform. Instead, Ynes would settle for the first class she saw that was able to be selected. "I can change this from adventurer to something else later on?" Ynes would inquire as she went about finishing up her registration.

Overhearing a group of people talking to Leon, it would seem there was some manner of work available already. "So, Leon, should I just go with these two on this mission?"

Luna smiled and said,"You may choose a different class Later." She then went back to her guild managing duties. Leon looked at Ynes and responded to her question. "Yes. Well you should be in a party for any quest. You are starting out. I suppose these two ladies are good as party members as any. Of course they have to agree to it as well. There is also a party recruitment board. But those are hit and miss," responded Leon.
 
Kari blinks a bit as she mutters, "I uhm...." She glances around as she takes some notes on the missing girl's quest. The princess jumps a bit as she hears Leon behind her. "L.....l...leon..... uhm hi....technically I am not an adventurer type class...but uhm what job are you asking me to join...I mean if you want me to go I will."

Kari yawns a bit as she mutters, "I put up some jobs mostly taking care of my pets in the mansion but yeah.....so uhm....hi." She put her hand out to Ynes and Aurora, "Hey I'm Hikari Maou....most just call me Kari..."
 
Ynes would return the introduction, "My name is Ynes Costa, and I am.. new here." accepting the hand and doing with it the only thing she would have thought proper. Ynes would attempt to shake hands with Hikari, as well as take a mental note that she wished to be called simply Kari. The woman seemed to be confused as to why she was supposed to be there, so Ynes would turn back her attention toward Leon. "Is there somewhere I could get a room at, or perhaps train? I think getting both of these settled before I go out on an adventure would be best."
 
"Fear not young maidens! For I, STAR E. STERN, shall find this fiend! Your crusader is here to save the day," said a very well dressed and well groomed man in armor. "That's right! Star-sama will stop that fiend!" said Sebastian, his golem sidekick. The knight and his squire give off a don quixote vibe. Just as he finished introducing himself ominous music began to play.

'What is this? You pathetic worms stop me The Phantom!? Pah! I will have my glorious panty collection and molest all the ladies while getting them. I say bring it on!" just then the Phantom appeared in the guild hall to mock you all! Roll initiative. It is COMBAT TIME!
 
Kari tensed up as she let out a scream spinning seeing the phantom right near her. "WHAT THE HELL! DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM!"

"I know exactly who you are! That is why you are my target!" The Phantom performs the Steal Ability! The phantom managed to steal....her gloves. "Are you making fun of me?" he shouts indignant.

"Die you wretch!" Cried leon as he tried to stab the Phantom with his spear. The Phantom manages to dodge the blow with a laugh.

Kari let out a scream as she stumbled back looking at her now missing gloves, "I ......I don't understand...why am I your target....this makes no sense...did I do something to offend you..." She starts crying as she trembles, "I WOULD NEVER DARE MAKE FUN OF ANYONE!"

The woman slides down the wall with various job postings getting caught, tearing and falling with her.
 
Star and Sebastian finally gets over their shock and attack the phantom. Star slashes at the Phantom with his sword. Then Sebastian tries to clunk him with his mace! However they both miss.

"You do to make fun of people! You are known as the Troll Princess who trolls all and brutally mocks them!" The phantom Said Indignantly. He throws her gloves off to the side in frustration! They hit Leon in the face so hard he is knocked off his feet. The guard then gets back to his feet.

Phantom's 12 vs Leon's 8= Hit Leon loses 20 HP and is stunned.

Kari tenses up as she breathes heavily and backs up against the wall, "NO I DON'T I AM NOTHING LIKE MY MOTHER...AND SHE HAS HER REASONS....IT WAS JERKS WHO DISTURBED OUR FAMILY FOR NO REASON!" She would glare at the phantom as she noticed the others in the tavern and made a run for the door.

Kari made it out the door with no trouble. After five minutes of running she sees no sign of pursuit. So that i good. She is on a busy street during the afternoon. "Hey Kari!" said a young man. It is Bat from the merchant guild. "What are you doing out here? are you okay?," he asked with a look of concern on his face.
