BFF's or more? [That Rekoj Guy & Faiyten]

With a simple wave of her hand she indicted that he could have a cup of coffee. Adelaide continued to sip as she thought some more staring fixedly at a spot on the floor. "I woke up in your lap....... something about the phone, I think that how I ended up in your lap. Ummm let's see..." She paused trailing off as she thought harder "You mentioning something about me and the hot tub? And... there... was-no wait that's all I remember." She said quickly as the hazy memory of her grinding against Damien surfaced causing a faint hue to color her cheeks. "Yeah that's it. Any of that ring a bell?" she aid as her gaze became even more intent on the floor and instead of sips she took a few gulps of her coffee giving herself an excuse (a poor one) for her flushed cheeks. "What were you talking about with the hot tub? You remember?"

Damien ignored the question about the hot-tub for now, not for the sake of ignoring it, but he had other things on his mind. He asked, completely bewildered, "You woke up on my lap!?" Damien had a strange expression on his face as he looked at the ceiling, as if trying to conjure up the memories of her in his lap. He flushed a little, after taking a sip of coffee, as he too remembered (vaguely) the grinding. He went back to his cup of coffee, and quickly decided to change the topic, hoping not to stir up any of her memories of the grinding. It was too hazy in his mind to remember that she had been into it as well, so for now he simply didn't want to touch it. Looking outside into the backyard through the upstairs sliding door, he took a final sip of his coffee. He looked over to Adelaide, and commented, "Last one in's a rotten egg" and with that, he took off towards the basement to get ready to hop in.

At his obvious shock that she had woken up in his lap she simply nodded. before gulping down the rest of her coffee refusing to meet his gaze til the warmth in her cheeks ebbed away. At his mention of the pool Adelaide nodded again before it occurred to that she would have to change into a bathing suit. "Hey not fair! I have to go get my bathing suit." she called after him before she took off towards her bedroom to do just that. After she changed she grabbed a few towels than ran back into the kitchen and down the stairs that lead to the basement level. Stepping out the sliding glass door one to the concrete she smiled shook her hair loose from its bun and promptly dove into the cool clear water of the pool she stayed under for a moment for rising to the surface and swimming to one of the walls before hauling herself up to take a seat on the edge of the pool. "You didn't answer my question Damien."

Damien was only wearing when he hit the water, they had dried off the previous night from the rain and he didn't want them to be met with water again. He didn't really care about wearing his boxers around Adelaide, they had been through some hot summer nights where both of them had been in the pool wearing next to nothing.. He was treading water when he felt the water around him move. He turned to see Adelaide under the water, grinning as she had made her way into the pool. He watched her as she came up to the surface, and made her way to the edge. He made his way to the edge as well, and said, "Was I talking about a hot-tub last night? S'funny, I don't really remember anything too much about it... was there anything else specific I mentioned?"

However, his voice had a certain coy quality to it, there was something he was hiding from Adelaide, and he wanted to make it obvious to her. He had the advantage for once, on her, she usually bugged him about the time she busted him- but he had one on her as well. He usually just didn't like to talk about it with her, because, well to be frank, he got a little worked up thinking about it. He only kept it hidden for so long, because she knew about it now, and if he knew his Laidy, she wasn't going to relent now.

Adelaide found herself glaring at Damien he knew far mroe then he was letting on and intended to toy with her. Fine if it was going to be like that she would play his game this time. She sat quiet or a bit periodically kicking her feet back adn forth as she though about last night hoping some of the haze would lift and she'd remember exactly what he said. Absently she chewed her bottom lip in thought before shoving herself off the wall and into the water submerging herself for a few moments "Umm... you said something about the time of my life... I think." she said treading water before casting him a glance. "Now seriously what were you talking about Damien." She hated it when he kept things from her so she wouldn't stop questioning him til she got an answer.

Damien grinned, as he pushed off from the wall and swam away, across the pool. He continued a backstroke as he wondered, "Hmm... I think a little something is coming back to me now... but if you want to know it," he started, before preparing himself and grinning. "You're gonna have to catch me..." and with that, he swam even farther away from Adelaide, climbing up on top of the edge of the pool and pulling himself out quickly. He stood outside the pool and stared down at Adelaide, before (very maturely), sticking his thumbs in his ears, closing his eyes and blowing a raspberry while wiggling his fingers. He awaited outside of the pool, for as soon as she got close, he was gonna dive right back in.

She scowled at him while she watched him she hated when he played games like this with her. She pushed her bangs out of her eyes to get a better view only to find that he was blowing a raspberry at her. "Real mature, Damien." She said sticking her tongue at him, even though she knew that her actions were just as immature as his own. Diving she swam to the the other side and hauled herself out of the water onto the the edge of the wall shoving her hair out of her face she whirled and turned to grab him but ended up with only air, knowing that she had just missed him. Placing her hands on her hips she watched him momentarily before diving back into the pool after him unaware the straps to her bikini top might be a little loose.

Damien felt a hand grasp upon his ankle and he quickly stopped swimming, instead choosing to roll over in the water and turn so he was facing Adelaide. He noticed it right away when she surfaced, her bikini top hadn't come up to the surface with her. Oh it was tough not to stare, he instead chose to look right into her eyes. He wanted to catch her at the perfect moment, it would be worth the wait. He conceded that she got him, and bit his lip as he treaded water. He slowly moved his teeth away from his lip, getting rid of the anticipation and explaining, "Alright, alright, you got me. You want to know about the hot-tub incident, I'll tell you about the hot-tub incident. I came over one day... this was a few months ago now, and I knocked on the door, to no response. I let myself in, and called your name, and heard nothing. So I went outside and started to go around the side of the house, wondering if you were out back swimming or something..."

He couldn't help but grin and look away from Adelaide for a moment, if only to keep himself from glimpsing at her chest. It was difficult, very difficult to keep his mind focused. He looked back into her eyes and continued, with a grin, "And as I came around the side of the house, I heard a noise. I continued around the side, and peeked around the corner to see if you were in trouble and well... you were in the hot tub. It was obvious you weren't in any trouble as I heard another noise, and it was obvious it was a moan. The jets were on full blast, your one hand was beneath the water and I could tell it was between your legs... and the other hand was on your chest. Your top was dislodged, but not as dislodged as it is now." He finished, his eyes finally being able to stare at her bare chest.

Adelaide was quite simply happy that she had caught him she hadn't having to chase him down for answers. "Spill it." As she listened her the color in her cheeks started rising as she began to realize just what he was talking about. He had heard and seen that. Just how long had he been there? And how could she had gotten so self absorbed that she hadn't noticed him there at all? Her embarrassment slowly gave way to anger and lots of it. Especially when he mentioned that no longer had her bikini top, considering he had waited til he was done with his explanation to tell her that. That would explain why he had been so intent upon making eye contact as well. "You ass!" she yelled smacking him the back of the head before diving to find her bikini top, noting that skin around one his eyes was discolored.

On her dive she noticed far more than just her top on the pool floor, she broke the surface again managing to tie the straps back around behind her neck but she couldn't do the ones behind her back. "You need to come here and tie this. And what happened to you eye?" Oh she was still mad at him but she could let it go considering that he was a pretty stand up guy and that his personality wasn't the only standing up.

Damien held his head, but made his way across the pool. He started to tie up the straps of her bikini, doing it slowly, as he had to make sure he didn't too close to Adelaide. He couldn't get to close, or else she'd be questioning what pocket Damien had to fit a pen into. Because there'd definitely be something poking at her back. He began to tie up the straps, casually bringing up, "You obviously remember Buck Thompson, gym class, last Friday... you tripped as we were playing soccer while trying to defend against him. Then he went and wound up for a shot on goal, even though you were obviously in his way on the ground...?" He finished tying a knot, it was awkward considering he couldn't get too close, and the knot wasn't tied too tight, but at least it was tied.

"Well, after school, I saw him walking home so I went up to him and asked him if he thought he was tough, for firing a soccer ball hard at somebody who can't defend themself. And that... was when he made a big mistake. I quote, word for word... 'It's not my fault the dumb bitch couldn't stop tripping over her tits...'" Damien stopped for a second, as he let Adelaide turn around, turning to look at her again. His eyes went down to her now covered chest only for a second before returning to her eyes, "I couldn't let him get away with that, oh no, he soon regretted those words as I practically mauled the guy. This little black eye is nothing, compared to what I gave him. You might notice he hasn't been at school for the past few days, and I have no regrets, nobody says that about my Laidey..."

Adelaide felt him take the straps back and tie them up as he talked, knowing he was doing the best that he could without getting any closer to her. She knew the incident he was referring to all to well. If she hadn't rolled at just the right moment in time she probably would've ended up o the hospital with a concussion. Her face went blank for a moment as she continued going to so far as to quote Buck before she glanced down at her chest. Her chest wasn't that big, especially if you compared them to the silicone ones on Buck's mother. He was one to talk his mother's chest looked like you could set a whole tray of food on them. She bit her lip as she silently fumed, before it occurred to her that Damien had gotten hurt protecting her. She met his gaze for a moment before glancing away. "Why the hell would you go and do a thing like that? Don't you ever get hurt cause of me...." She trailed off there were so many things she wanted to say but was afraid to. Damien had gotten into a fight protecting her honor, that said a lot about him.

Damien quirked an eyebrow when he heard her chastise him for getting hurt for her, as he was simply confused. He gave a simple response, as if there wasn't another option, "But... but I couldn't let him get away with saying that about Adelaide." His gaze tried to catch hers, but it couldn't seem to. He wondered why she cared about him getting hurt for her, he didn't care if he got hurt defending somebody he didn't know. Somebody like Adelaide, who meant so much to him, he would die to defend her. He had an intense loyalty, his loyalty was the fire that kept him alive. If he didn't have Adelaide to live for, he had nobody.

And maybe it was that realization, that made him do what he was about to do. Maybe it was the look in her eyes he had seen when she got angry at him. Maybe it was finally getting tired of having to deal with being friends for so many years when he always wanted more. Maybe it was the skin he had seen over the past few days, the grinding that had happened last night, finally getting to him. Or maybe it was the raging hard-on he was having trouble containing. But there was nothing stopping in his mind anymore, there was always something stopping him, but in that moment there was nothing. His palm made it's way to Adelaide's cheek, as he gently caressed her cheek. Holding her cheek, he leaned in and placed his lips against hers in a kiss. He muttered under his breath, "Nobody says that about my Laidey, and nobody hurts my Laidey." Another soft kiss was placed upon her lips as he couldn't help but mutter one more comment, "I remember more about last night than I admitted..."

Adelaide just stared at him for a moment, she knew she was important to him but she hadn't realized that she was hat important. Though he was just as important to her, he kept her sane and out of too much trouble. He kept her grounded more so than anything, he was her reason to not slip away from it all.

Gods she was crazy about him and the last few days not to mention that fact that he would get hurt just to protect her name drove the point home even more. And then there was her physical attraction him that had driven her insane many a time over the last few years. Showers had become her best friend, considering the vents of last night had she not passed out in his lap she would've been in the shower for a couple of hours. Feeling his palm on her cheek her gaze snapped back to his face before his lips met hers, she wanted to melt and almost felt like she had. When he kissed her for the second time she couldn't help but smile. "I do so why are we still talking, considering your um situation?"

"Oh, so you did notice..." Damien said, with a chuckle, before peeking down underwater at his crotch, and he realized, it was pretty difficult not to notice. He was pent up, as wonderful as last night had been, it had only been a buildup. He bit his lip before kissing Adelaide's lips once more, he was amazed at how right it felt. He felt like he'd kissed her a thousand times before, and would kiss her a thousand times again. He loved her, he knew it in his heart, without Adelaide he could safely say he wouldn't be alive at that point. She was his reason to live, his one bright spot in a dark, dark life. His hand went to the back of her bikini, quickly untying the knot he had just tied up. His lips met hers again as he followed her suggestion and ceased speaking. It was a time for things to be said, without words.

His lips kissed hers passionately, and deeply, as his hands roamed her body. He nuzzled his nose against hers in a break in the kiss, as he slowly guided them towards the shallow end of the pool. As soon as his feet could touch the ground with his head above the water, he finished removing her bikini top. His hand continued to explore her wonderfully soft skin, until it made it to her thigh and began to stroke down her leg. He moved his chest against hers, as his hand then trailed up her leg to her bikini bottom, and he slowly began to peel it down, his eyes looking right down at what his hand was about to expose.
