The year is 1923 and the world is still recovering from The Great War.
In the South Pacific, Nick Sharpe, a cargo pilot for hire, gets caught in a freak storm and his plane crashes on an uncharted island. Having lost consciousness in the crash, Nick awakens to find himself in a cave with a beautiful woman clad in animal skins tending to his wounds.
